Hello! I have a CSV file with filenames, captions and keywords for 400 images that I'd like to import into Lightroom Classic (its last version, I use to have it updated). I've installed the LR/transporter plugin, that would be the perfect solution, and I've run the trial, but nothing happens (the plugin says that the trial was OK, but it wasn't, a single keyword or caption wasn't imported). I've sent emails to the developers, but they don't answer. I wouldn't mind to pay for the plugin... as long as it works, of course, but I'm not certain about that, actually, I've read some comments out there that it's no longer supported by recent versions of Lightroom.So any recent experience about this plugin would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and regards from Spain! 

Our private family catalogue has 161.000 pictures, but until today I could work with it smoothly.Now, after returning from vacation, I tried to sync about 7.500 new pictures from CC, but it is inexplicably slow (120 pics within 1 hour). It is indeed so slow, that I can't do anything but wait.Windows 11 task manager tells me that 98% of my 64GB RAM is in use by lightroom classic. If I restart, the percentage climbs up slowly. As long as there is some RAM left for working, I can choose pictures, edit a.s.o.But as soon as the RAM is occupied, that's it. Lightroom classic is blocked.What could it be? Windows 11 pro AND lightroom classic installed updates first.Eventually, it could be connected to the Cloud-Sync?Any ideas? I couldn't find a support page with real persons for help, couldn't open a support ticket...Thank you!ps. lightroom system info as txt attached 

The image won't fully load and I can't access the edit panel. The image just remains pixelated and the edit panel is grayed out. Multiple restarts, software updated. 

Bonjour,J'utilise Lightroom Classic depuis environ 6mois et depuis quelques semaines cela m'indique "erreur de synchronisation" dans l'onglet creative cloud en haut à droite…A l'ouverture du logiciel ca mouline pendant quelques minutes puis ça m'affiche un message avec "Erreur de synchronisation"J'ai donc regardé si j'avais bien les dernières MàJ et oui c'est la cas…Bref si quelqu'un à une solution à proposé je suis prenneur 🙂Merci d'avance

Greetings. First reach-out. LrC is constantly turning off graphics processor due to errors. When doing lens blur and/or denoise, it will randomly totally crash or display error. I close and restart and GPU is working...until I do lens blur or denoise (sometimes other tasks trigger it as well). I've updated GPU driver, did a clean install, restarted multiple times, and preformed all the "easy" fixes in the performance tab. Can NOT get LrC to run more than an hour without some kind of error or crash. What am I missing? lately i tried to get used to the face recognition feature of LRC. I think its great , for i shoot a lot of public events and like to find local celebs later. butnow all the countless names clog my keyword list and make it much harder to edit all other keywords.I made Groups for them but its still annoyingfor instance: automativ keywords was nice before, type in 2 letters and choose beween 2-3 keywords. Now all combination of 2 or 3 letters lead to a lot of names. do i make a mistake?is there a way to separate the faces from the keywords?

If I make a change in the profile correction, for example adjusting the vignetting, in Lightroom Classic and then save it as a new standard profile for the lens, it is applied to the currently open image but is not finally saved. If I open a new image with the same lens, my newly adjusted profile is not adopted as the default, but rather the basic settings. This only occurs with RAW files from the R5 Mark II. With the old R5 this is saved cleanly.

Hi! Support appreciated: I have downloaded RAW images in a folder and created another folder with selected images from the first folder. I couldn't copy them so I 'moved' them. Unfortunately only after editing many photos and wanting to export them I noticed that they were turned into JPEGs!! I need them to be high resolution (15-20MB not 2.5MB). Question: What did I do wrong? Is there a way to 'activate' the RAW image quality without losing all the edits I already did? Thanks!    

Hello,I process my images using several different external editors. I configured them in Lr, and I configured a file name template so LR adds "-edit" as suffix to those files. Now I'd like to add some more informative suffixes - is it possible to add the external editor name as a suffix or something like that?I'd like to know from the file name if the photo has been edited in Photoshop or something else.  I'm running Lr Classic 9.2 on MacOS. Thanks in advance,gerlos

A couple months ago, LRC begain showing JPGs alongside my RAWs (ORFs). In Preferences, I don't have "Treat JPEG files next to raw files as separate photos" selected. I never have and this never used to be an issue. LRC is now showing me both, which I do not want. As advised by JohanElzenga and others, I tried resetting the Preferences. This made no difference. When I import, the JPGs still show up despite the "Treat..." button being unchecked. I can solve this by only shooting RAW, but I do sometimes want to shoot both and not have to deal with a very messy LRC Library.  Any ideas or redirects will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Jay -- I'm using the latest build of LRC on a Mac running Sonoma 14.6.1 & imports are from an Olympus OM-1.

I had a GTX 1080 TI card, I bought a new, efficient RTX 3090, the card works great in Benchmarks. I installed new drivers.Lightroom Classic 13.5. Driver Problem: the program does not use the card. It makes no difference whether: 1. Auto is enabled 2. Manual 3. Card support is disabled.I checked the card on 2 drivers: 1. 560.81-desktop-win10-win11-64bit-international-nsd-dch-whql 2. 560.94-desktop-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch-whql The effect is the same.How can I solve the problem with exporting photos.

I have a problem with the photos in the Lightroom catalog. Every time I open the application I have to tell it where the images are on the NAS. There is no way to save the location. It only happens when I turn off the Mac. I think it is a permissions issue. Can you help me? Thanks.

After the update today, the Map doesn't load/show in Lightroom Classic to drop my photos on the location  OS: Windows 10. 

Hi guys, I am using Lightroom Classic on a Windows Laptop with a local catalog beeing stored on the Laptop. I get frequently error messages that my catalog is beeing damaged usually the repair is no problem, afterwards everything is working properly. This time the catalog after the "repair" was completely empty. I am using a Synology Drive as a backup in my local network to sync the files from my Laptop. I sometimes have the feeling that Lightroom and the Synology Drive do not get along quite well due to errors in reading / writing files. Anybody has an idea how to proceed? When I want to open the backup I also get an error message.I can a stop those regular damaged catalogues? Thanks for your supprt.Sebastian

Using Lightroom Classic 13.5 on Macbook Pro 2018 running macOS 12.7.5. Possibly because of a recent update, LR has not been creating a folder on import. I use a YYYMMDD_Location_Subinfo folder structure within folders for Projects. Ex: 20240802_Maine_Camden-Harbor_Day-06. This folder would be under encompassing folder 20240727-0821_Maine. In the past, when naming and creating a folder on import, the folder would show in the proper place italicized before pressing the Import button. That now does not occur. When I click on an imported photo and hover over the folder field, it shows it to be in the proper folder, but does not show up in the folder list on the left side. When I look at the drive, the folders show under the top folder, but not in any date-specific folder. To organize, I then manually, thru LR, create a folder under the top folder and then drag the files into this new folder. Then all appears correct both in LR and in Finder.  This has happened multiple times and is re

How can globally update develop version in "calibration" to current? older photos cant use AI masks. I have thousands that need updating.

Lightroom Classic Version Number: v13.4OS Version Number: MacOS Sonoma v14.5Hardware: MBP 2020 M1 16GB Expected behavior: Individual generative AI removal areas will update their opacity and variation rendering when those settings are adjusted in Develop module. Actual behavior: Some generative AI removal areas do not render changes to opacity/variation when settings are adjusted. Changes will only show up when you subsequently tweak the opacity/variation of a different, unrelated generative AI removal area.  Not all of the other gen AI areas in the image can trigger this “updating” effect. Tweaks to general develop settings also do not make a difference. You can reproduce in sample image (DNG with Camera Raw data written in header). The steps outlined below are as demonstrated in screen recording linked here. All remove areas in the image are Gen AI. Image is in HDR edit mode. Adjust opacity and variation on gen AI “blue circle” area.

Every time I try to do something that involves LrC, something ALWAYS goes wrong and I lose all of my photos. (as in, I have to have Adobe remote my computer and find everything.....) Right now, I am at the point where my current portable external hard drive is almost full. I need to switch over to a new one. HOW do I do this without completely messing everything up again??? (I need very basic instructions, step-by-step. I am horrible at doing these types of things for some reason!)

I got a new camera and now Lightroom Classic wont name files properly when I export them. I constantly get the warning that the name is a duplicate even though the file number is different. I am one of the many people having problems with Denoise AI changing the colors of my photo. I have updated my GPU driver to the latest version, restarted everything, and the problem continues. I can even see color changes in the Enhance Preview window when I hold down the mouse button to supposedly show the unenhanced version in the preview. Description of the Issue:When I select an image in the Library module and switch to the Develop module to edit it, Lightroom sometimes opens the wrong image for editing. This same issue occurs during export: the wrong image is exported. Troubleshooting:After troubleshooting with a support agent over chat and Bomgar, we identified that the issue seems to be related to file suffixes. For example, an image named _NL39617.ARW in the Library module opens the wrong image _NL39617-2.ARW in the Develop module. It appears that Lightroom is not properly cataloging images with identical names that have different suffixes, or those without a suffix. Additional Observations:I've attached screenshots that illustrate the problem. One image shows a subset of images in the Library, and the other shows the export results. Notice that the singer in the exported image is from a different set, and the bassist appears alone in the Library module. These mismatched images also show up incorrectly in

Sometimes I can't upload to Flickr from Lightroom classic.What I tried nut did not help:Latest version which is Lightroom 13.5Authenticating my account againAnd finally restating the PC, and then attempting to upload two times, first time it did not work, then it worked the second time.There's isn't a issue with Flickr, as I can upload to flickr.Any ideas what it can be? the issue seems to be with LIghtroom.I dodn't know why it works now, nor why it didn't work and why rebooting and trying two times made it work, or if that actually helped, or if something else solved it.
