Questions

I have some photos that are catalogued in LrC and others that are not, but are in the same folder. I need to find out a way to distinguish them so that I can move the non-cataloged ones without disrupting the catalog. Are catalogued files marked so they can be distinguished from photos ?

Some help please. I have been experiencing an issue with both panorama merge and denoise. Both processes begin and get two thirds of the way through before ending with no resulting image and no error warning. The denoise results in a grey screen stating 'no photo selected'I'm using Lightroom 13.2 on Windows 11The problem was initially resolved by increasing the cache settings, however the problem has returned after a fortnight or so, even after allocating real time memory to lightroom and again increasing cache in preferences. I have tried optimising the catalog, which is stored on the laptop.I have a  2.6ghz processor with 16gb RAM  and 141gb hard drive spare

An image in Lightroom is extremely zoomed out in the Develop module, in one specific catalogue. I want it to fill the full screen. It does show a full image when I enter crop mode, but it won't do it in the default develop mode. hi, i have my raw file straight from my memory card and have airdropped it to my iphone - it is clear, sends great through social media apps (messenger, instagram DM etc) and its clear on the other end when its sent.i also have a version thats the exact same raw file type but its now being exported from lightroom. i have youtubed, read forums on all the types of export settings (whats best for social media, and then what settings to use for prints etc). I have exported at almost every possible way from lightroom to get it to be clear on devices and when its being sent to people but as soon as i export it seems to drop the brightness a tiny bit and it comes out really grainy. the image will not look grainy when i send it but it comes out so different to the plain raw file when they receive the image. not sure if that made sense but can someone please explain to me the export settings and what settings i should always be on for social media side of it because i cant work it out!!!

Hello i've problem; I've orginal Adobe Lightroom 6.14 i've bought it in 2018 and yesterday i,ve to reinstal it; during instalation ask for sign to adobe to give serial number; after instalation LR don't work on windows 10; adobe aplication menager starts for few second and nothing; on https://account.adobe.com/products my lightroom licence was registered what can i do ?   [moved to the correct community - Mod.]

I am on MacAirbook with LRcat 13.2  When I click on the band between crop and red eye (healing tool ) the image is turning into a black and white negative. I need to remove some imperfections in the image. Earlier with LRcat 12 it was working fine  

I don't know why but lightroom classic all of a sudden is displaying my photos like this when I select them for editing. This is happening with every image I look at, even ones I've downloaded months ago. Tried reinstalling lightroom, and restarted my computer multiple times. I have a macbookAir M3 Sonoma 14.4.1. I have tried everything including the "Adobe Cleaner tool". I have given accessibility to the software In the "safety and security", added permissions to me in the finder to "read and write" and included all the files in the little "...". Nothing works. Any Idea?

Issue: cannot install, rename, or delete Local Adjustment PresetsWindows 10, with current updatesLrC 13.2 Any additions, deletions, name changes to the .lrtemplate files found in directory:C:\Users\gener\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Local Adjustment PresetsAre not reflected in LrC.  However, any new local preset I create withing LrC does appear in this directory.  Same behavior on two different computers with same OS.  (This type of operation I have done many times in the past.) I have: -Restarted LrC, many times -reboot computer -same behavior on two different computers -In LrC preferences I did a Restore Local Adjustment Presets, no help -With LrC closed, I have deleted all files in the "Local Adjustment Presets" folder and when LrC is started all the previous user presets are still listed and there are no .lrtemplate files in theC:\Users\gener\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Local Adjustment Presets directory The behavoir of

Lightroom Classic creates zip files when catalogs are backed up.  When seeking guidance online on how to merge catalogs, no articles explain that the zip files cannot be accessed through Lightroom and must be first opened in Finder (Mac).  The Adobe site also does not explain that the files need to be unzipped first through Finder (Mac) in order to access the needed .lrcat files in order to open them in lightroom.   My suggestion is to either 1) make this necessary step clear through the Adobe artices on how to open and merge catalogs or, ideally 2) modify Lightroom Classic to allow Zip files to be accessed through Lightroom.

Hello all, On my new machine (mac mini m2 pro with ventura 13.2) I have color inconsistencies between Library & Develop modules. I use Lightroom 12.2This happens only on pictures with very saturated reds.The reds are much more saturated in the Develop modules than in the Library modules.If I proof to Adobe RGB the colors in the Develop module then matches the one in the Library modules. My monitor is wide gamut and calibrated with an i1 sensor and DisplayCAL. Some notes:- I checked with GPU on/off -> no change- I checked with some other monitor profiles like -> some have consistent colors between modules (Adobe RGB, sRGB), some not (Display P3 / Wide Gamut RGB / The generic Dell u2713h / all the profiles made by DisplayCal). Playing the secondary window and virtual copies I managed to get the 2 color rendering at the same time (see attachment). I can share the example picture (original DNG) with very saturated red (concert lighting) for which the diff

Hey there,  Since yesterday out of nowhere all the pictures that I am opening in my Lightroom Classic are distorted and pink and I don't know what to do about it. The pictures down in the preview look ok, but as soon as I click on them they turn into pink. If any more details are needed in order to help me out, please let me know!  Thanks in advance,  Simon

Good day, Since a few days ago, whenever I edit a photo, Lightroom Classic has added exposure to my photos.When I select my subject and what to copy the mask, the exposure is just going up and up (see video).Or when I import a new photo, the exposure starts directly at 1.36.What could be the cause of this? Kind regards,Nico van der Merwe (running Lightroom Classic 13.2)

Hi!I saw a lot of videos and tutorials about transfering RAW-photos to a ipad pro. but i really would like to not transfer it:)Heres my problem:- I want to have the possibility to edit photos in lightroom mobile while traveling.- ideal would be one databank (external ssd) for all photos. i have the Toshiba Canvio AeroMobile or RAVPower FileHub in mind. these two have batterylife & sd-slots & wifi!- it would be perfect if i could store all my photos on one of these and than edit the photos with a tablet directly on the fly, without coping them onto the tablet.i see the problem in the apps the external ssd needs to backup the files from the sd-cards. i don't know, if there is a way to browse the files just like in explorer/finder. but that would be great!Is this even possible?i really need a YES before i buy a new tablet plus external ssd thanks in advance for any tip!

I've tethered my Canon 6d to Lightroom (13.2) and everything is connecting just fine but when I shoot the image only saves to my camera SD card but doesn't appear on my computer or Lightroom at all. Live view works and I can change the settings of my camera through tethering, I can't see any final images in my lightroom. What I've done to try to fix it  -Resetting my preferences and relaunching lightroom, didn't work.-Checked if using EOS Utilities would save my images onto both laptop and sd card, it does. -downloaded Lightroom v.13.0 and tried tethering, didn't work. -I initially thought it was because I uploaded the catalogue to the cloud as a backup affected the tethering but I don't think so.  Does anyone using Canon have any problems with their Lightroom tethering?

I'm not the creator, but have an InDesign file and Links.Some of the Links are behaving oddly.If I look in Bridge at .jpg file it shows the Camera Raw Edit Sliders icon top left.If I try to open the .jpg file in Photoshop it always Opens in Camera RAW. I can't see any ACR edits at my end. I'm told that this file was EPSON scan to TIFF then edits in Lightroom circa2016, then a jpg produced.The TIFF no longer exists, and I don't know if there were XMP sidecar files. Does anyone have aqny idea why would .jpg file only open in Camera Raw and not PhotoshopIs there something I could look at in Bridge info?

If I'm reading this Adobe Help page correctly, when I want to restrict an image search to look just at the file path, I should be able to select File Path as one of the options under Any Searchable Field in a text search. No such luck on my Any Searchable Field menu:What am I missing? Do I need to add a plug in to add the option?BTW, I'm on Mac OS 14.4.1 and LRC 13.2Thanks much!Gary   

When I go to import files from an external hard drive, just on one of them when I click the arrow to get to sub folders, it shows none. When I click on include sub folders, I get lots of font images and Adobe stock images etc but not my folders. On every other hard drive attached to the computer, I don't have this problem. Any ideas?

Hi. I'm trying to set my import location to an original save location on my c drive named 2024 after for some reason my one drive started to be the import location and created its own 2024 folder. When I select the c drive 2024 folder when importing it wants to create its own 2024 folder within the original 2024 and in that the dated import. I just can't see how l can import wothout the sub folder being created. Any ideas?

When in Develop, I make adjustments to an image. When I go to the next image, I want to copy/paste settings using the "Previous" buttton without cropping. Ie when using the "Previous" button, I want a way to tell LR not to apply the crop settings from the previous image on to the next (current)  image.Thanks

I've got a photoshoot of new images imported into lightroom classic, I have also sent those same images to a cloud based AI solutions provider who's system generates tags (keywords) and star ratings for them, that system returns a data file that references the image file name and adds columns for the the keywords and star ratings. I'm hoping someone can point me to a lightroom plugin that I can use to import that data into my lightroom catalog.
