Mac Studio with 2 Epson 4800s USB connected directly into the back of the computer. I can print out head cleans etc via the Epson utility, so they're obviously connected, being seen and receiving instructions from the Mac. However, trying to print an image out of Photoshop will not. Keeps saying 'waiting for printer to become available' when there's nothing in the print queue. Deleted the printers & everything to do with them. Reloaded the latest drivers from Epson & endless restarts later, still no joy.Any ideas anyone? I'm seriously considering wiping the hard drive and giving a completely OS clean install and then adding my apps. Which I'd rather not have to do.

My photoshop windows is almost inposible to use. Before i update it to the resent 2025 version the screen would go all burred (out of focus) when i touched a key on the program. Since the down load hoping this would resulve the problem, but now as soon as i touch the keypad or mouse the screen blacks out flickers for a second then its ok untill i touch another key. What happening? Cheers

I needed to create an image that included blurred lines, and I made this:Procedure– I generated the lines, as paths, in InDesign, because that’s the application I know best, then added the blurring in Photoshop– I saved the resulting image in the following formats: EPS, JPG, PNG, TIFF, hoping that in at least one of these cases the result could be imported back into InDesign and the transparent background would be retained, and I could then place the graphic onto a dark background (I don't know how to do that in Photoshop)– This doesn’t work. When imported into InDesign the image appears with a solid white background instead of a transparent one. I tried various effects, such as “darken”, “lighten”, “multiply”, and none are right– I can't use clipping paths around the lines, because the lines are blurred and need to remain so. Lines with sharp edges won't work for what I need hereQuestions– How does one make coloured, blurred lines and place them on a coloured, non-white background?– W

I was used to clicking outside a selection to deselect it, but somehow it doesn't work anymore. Now I need to click CMD-D to deselect but I want to get back to just clicking outside it. I can't find what to reset to be able to do this? Or did something change? Thx

I am trying to use the online version of Photoshop. When I open any photo, no photo shows and the menu items are all light gray. What am I doing wrong?

Hey everyone, Lately, I’ve been experimenting with Photoshop to create a cinematic-style artwork inspired by action-adventure games like Ninja Arashi 2. The dark tones, moody lighting, and dynamic poses really caught my attention, and I wanted to recreate that same atmosphere using Photoshop tools.   Here’s what I’ve tried so far:   Used Color Lookup adjustments for a dramatic tone. Added fog and particle layers with soft brushes for depth. Played with Lighting Effects filters to focus attention on the main character. Used Blend If options for realistic shadow transitions.   However, I still feel like something is missing — maybe in the color grading or final composition.   For those who’ve done similar game-inspired digital art, what techniques or adjustment layers helped you achieve that true “cinematic” feel?Would love to see your suggestions or examples!   Thanks in advance

Since last week my photoshop keeps resetting the new document templates, both the ones in the program (Internatonal prints, photo sizes, etc.) and the ones created by me too. Only the default size shoving up in the recent section. None of the others. Not even if I change back to the "Legacy New Document Interface".I tried to overwrite the "MRU New Doc Sizes" / "New Doc Sizes" files in "...\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2024\Adobe Photoshop 2024 Settings\" they aren't resetting but there is no change in the program whatsoever. Please help, because this is a bit frustrating since I used to use several different templates for my prints/photos and art...

Hello, I am having problems with Photoshop 2025, all of the brushes. A few days ago, I updated from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and that is where the issue started. The brushes were working perfectly fine on Windows 10 but when I updated Windows 11, the brush 50 chalk 2 that I use with opacity at 100%, it gives me a solid stroke when it isn't suppose to be a solid stroke as it is suppose to be chalky, I have tried using another brush with opacity at 100%, it is giving the same result. 

Hey guys! I have this script that I found here in the community and I've already tested some others. They all close groups containing layers, but if the group is empty, the script stops.Is there any way for this script to work even on empty groups? Hi everyone,I'm having trouble launching Photoshop 2025. When I open the application, it gets stuck on the screen that says:"Starting up plug-ins... SP Substance Suite"The app doesn’t load beyond this point unless I either restart my device or force close Photoshop through Task Manager.Has anyone else experienced this issue or know how to fix it? Hello all. I've downloaded the 25H2 update yesterday and installed it right after. I've tried Photoshop Beta right after and it worked.Today, when i started Photoshop 2025 today, all i ever see is the splash screen and nothing happens after the screen vanishes.i've tried uninstalling Photoshop Beta from Adobe Creative Cloud and reinstall it back. It does not work.i've then uninstalled everything, Photoshop Beta, Photoshop 2025, Lightroom, Lightroom CC and then deleted all apps data. I've restarted my laptop and then reinstalled Adobe Creative Cloud.I've downloaded Photoshop Beta and normal version again. they both don't work.i've read that if you signed out and the sign back in, it would work. In my case, it still does not work. Another thing worth noting is that, from Creative Cloud Desktop, when hovering to Photoshop Express, it says "You must update your system to install Photoshop EXPRESS. Please check the following: Windows 10 build 10.0.14393", but I'm using Window

Issue:  In Recent photoshop Updates the setting ”Initial Direction” in "Shape Dynamics" in brush settings is BUGGED and does not consistently work as it should.    Photoshop version: 24.0-25.2  OS:  MacOS 12.7.1 Steps to reproduce: Take or make a flat brush (you can create it by setting a round brush to 90 degree angle and 8% width in the ”brush tip shape” settings) Go into ”Shape Dynamics” and turn on ”Initial direction” in the second drop down menu options. Now use a tablet and pen and draw 10-15 strokes as if you are drawing straight lines in the same direction and you will see the problem.    Expected result:  If you draw with a Wacom pen or an equivalent tool, You SHOULD get a consistently flat wide brush strokes as you pull in the same direction as described above and do not change direction mid stroke etc. You should NOT get thin strokes with the settings described above. This has been how these settings have worked for 10+ years

I am on version 25.0 public release and generative features will now work and have the same error.

I have been having this problem for over a week already: my Photoshop has suddenly stopped opening! It starts to initialize, but it does not finish this process and shuts off immediately. I have found some solutions that have worked sometimes, but it does not last. I have sought professional help (I checked my graphics card, my 3D configurations, my antivirus, I have installed another version of the app, none of my other colleagues, who have the same Adobe plan, don't have any problems). I have even formatted my computer, and it was all worthless. My other apps from Adobe work just fine; the problem is in the Photoshop app. No error has been found in my computer... I don't know what to do anymore!  My computer is an Acer Nitro 5

In Neural filters the noise reduction is not working anymore

Hello everyone,I have a Photoshop CC 2015. Currently I am using the Logitech's MX Master, with a wheel specifically for horizontal scrolling.But this does not seem to work in the Windows Version of Photoshop. I have tested the exact same function(horizontal scroll) on the Photoshop of my mac, and it worked out absolutely fine - just like vertical scrolling.For the windows though, when I try to scroll horizontally,at first it immediately scroll all the way to the far left of the horizontal bar. After that, the horizontal scroll will have no effect and simply stuck at the very end.Of course, I can use my mouse to control the horizontal bar, but it will be much more convenient if Photoshop can support a wheel specifically for horizontal scrolling.So in a nutshell what I am looking for is a way to use my horizontal scrolling wheel in Photoshop.Thanks again.
