Dear Adobe Scripting Team, I am writing to report a persistent issue regarding ExtendScript (ES3) development in Adobe Photoshop [ Photoshop 2025, Windows 11 ] The Goal: We are trying to create a simple, floating helper toolbar using Window("palette") that stays open while the user interacts with the canvas. The Problem: Despite using #targetengine to create a persistent session, the palette window appears for a split second and immediately closes (disappears). It behaves as if the garbage collector is aggressively clearing the window object immediately after the script execution finishes, ignoring the global reference. What We Have Tried (Technical Steps): To resolve this, we have attempted the following standard solutions, but none have worked: Target Engine: Defined a unique #targetengine "my_unique_session_id" at the very top of the script. Global Anchoring: We assigned the window object to a variable declared outside the IIFE/function scope. Root Scope Injection: W

Cost of AI credits on Images?So that answer is clear as mud. Mostly because Adobe hasn’t made it very clear or hasn’t quite figured it out yet.With your Lightroom/Photoshop subscription you get new credits each month on the anniversary day of when you first subscribed. So if you subscribed on May 12th you will be given credits to use. Then on June 12th you will get a new set of credits.How many credits?That is muddy as well. Pam Perkins gets 250 credits each month as does Jeffrey Pawlan but Mercury and several others report 500 credits per month. Yours truly has the pricey Adobe Creative Suite and I get 4000 credits monthly and for a price you too can buy more credits as needed. To check how many credits you have currently- Click on your Creative cloud icon and then click on the small blue pie chart in the upper right. When i tried to edit the Layer Mask parameters like 9Shift edge,smooth,contrast),it accidently exit and can't do change these parameters value.It's only after the latest update.Kindly do any correction immediately.

There seems to be no way to remove hoveer layer bounds or make them not be visible. It used to be possible to turn them off but there is no way to do that in PS 27.2. They are a problem and interfere with editing every image. Adobe keeps forcing this feature on users but I don't see any use for it and would really llike NOT to have to have a line appear around a portion of every layer whenever my cursor happens to be over the layers or oayer palette. Had this problem since PS 25 but it was possible to turn off in older versions of Photoshop.

In Photoshop 27.2 on Windows, audio playback pauses for about 0.5–1 second every time an AI-based tool is used (Select Subject, Object Selection, etc.).This issue started immediately after updating to version 27.2. How do I activate an adjustment layer? I can see the adjustment layer in the Layers panel, but the Properties panel for that layer doesn’t appear when I select it. Is there a way to reopen or reset the panel so I can edit the adjustment settings?”---

Hello! I'm having trouble opening Photoshop tutorials on my Mac. Problem description:I am unable to open Photoshop tutorials that I regularly receive via e-mail from Adobe (mail@e.adobe.com). The same applies to the Photoshop tutorials from the Creative Cloud app (bottom right of the home page). Only the tutorials that are available directly in Photoshop under the menu item Help -> “Practical Tutorials” can be opened interactively without any problems. All tutorial emails from (mail@e.adobe.com) and tutorials from the Creative Cloud have blue buttons labeled “Get started now” or “Start tutorial in Photoshop” or similar. When I click on these buttons, the tutorial does not start, but instead a browser window opens informing me that Photoshop needs to be installed. The Photoshop installation file is downloaded automatically. When I launch the installation file “Photoshop_Installer.dmg” from the Mac's download folder, the Creative Cloud and Photoshop apps open. How can i keep my Lightroom presets ONLY in Lightroom? The same goes for Photoshop.I like to keep my Presets Organized, and i never use Photoshop Presets in Lightroom, so i deleted it. but when i do this, when i use Photoshop, the Preset i Just deleted in Lightroom Also got deleted in Photoshop. How can i fix it? 

A nice feature of PS is the ability to use the bracket keys to increase/decrease the size of a brush in precise increments.  Similarly, we can use the arrow keys to move an object in small increments.  Is there any way to apply a transformation (^T) and scale that transformation in precise increments without having to type numbers into the toolbar?

What I thought it could be a simple operation became a nightmare!I just need to export 2 — just 2 — simple brushes who contain pen pressure settings from Photoshop 26.11.1 to 27 and it is not working.The ABR export/import is doing fine, but all the pen pressure setting simply disappear when loaded in the latest version of Photoshop.What am I doing wrong? I am forced to stay in 26.11.1 forever, I think... Windows 10

How do I fix this weird preview issue with the white outer line of the canvas? It keeps bugging as I zoom in and out and it super annoying when recording / presenting. I am currently using Photoshop 27.2.0 version with a M1 Max Macbook on the Tahoe 26.1 version.

Hello Adobe Community, I have this studio editorial image and surrounding the subject is purple/magenta banding/chromatic abberation. It's not that noticeable on my laptop/in photoshop but it is very noticeable on Instagram. I've tried editing in 16 bit then converting to 8 bit etc. I've tried image>adjuststments>hue/sat and turned down Magenta/purple. I can get rid of it by turning the whole image temperature warmer but it is pivotal for this project to be a cooler toned image, unfortunately the purple banding still shows up. Does anyone know how to remove/fix this?

While using Photoshop, the application crashes frequently, and my PC shows a black screen with the error message: “YOUR DEVICE RAN INTO A PROBLEM.” This has happened multiple times (3–4 times).Initially, I suspected it was a hardware issue with my laptop. I contacted Lenovo Support, and they reinstalled Windows for me. However, the problem persisted. I then submitted my laptop under DOA and received a replacement unit. Unfortunately, the same issue occurs on the new laptop as well—Photoshop crashes and the system restarts.Since the issue is repeating even on a brand-new laptop, I believe the problem lies with Adobe Photoshop rather than the hardware.I already updated my photoshop, graphic cards, all windows update. If anyone Knows why this problem occur, Please

I’m recently experiencing a strange issue with Photoshop. All images appear to have a pink/magenta tint only in Photoshop’s preview. I know it’s not a monitor issue, because when I open the same image simultaneously in Illustrator and Photoshop, the colors look correct in Illustrator but pink-tinted in Photoshop (see attached screenshot).Both files use the same color mode and color profile.Saving the image in Photoshop and then opening it with Windows Photos shows the correct colors. I’ve tried searching for information about this problem but haven’t found a solution yet. Has anyone experienced something similar or knows how to fix it?

I recently installed an HP OfficeJet Pro 9021 printer. Whenever I try to print from it, Photoshop shuts down. No warning, and without the previous file loaded as a recovery. What should I do to make the printer work in PhotoShop? I'm running the latest OS and version of Photoshop on a Mac. I've made contact sheets today already with no problems. I tried to make some more and the pages are now blank. I've restarted and I've tried going through Bridge. Nothing works now. This has happened in the past and just corrected itself, I thought. How does it work one minute and not the next. I have no weird file names or special characters in the file names. I make contact sheets nearly every day, so this is not foreign to me. I just want to know why? I also tried using just a simple JPEG and it still shows up blank.

There were some great ideas and very clever interpretations of the gavel.This week, in the run up to Christmas, I thought we should have a Christmas based theme. Instead of a Christmas tree, which we have used before, I chose a Christmas plant. So we have a 3D render of a Poinsettia. The plant itself is a model from the XFrog plant library, the two gift-wrapped presents are from Adobe Substance 3D Assets. The table, vase and wall, I modelled in Blender. All textures are from Adobe Substance 3D assets and were applied in Adobe Substance Painter. I lit the scene in Blender and rendered it, before taking it into Photoshop for finishing.Now that we have our Christmas scene, what will you make with it? I have several thousand skies that I use sometimes with Sky Replacement option in photoshop. I know how to upload images in the Sky Replacemnt panel but where exactly are they stored. I have searched the file name and it shows up in my folder (on an external hard drive) but nowhere else and yet if I try an upload say 1000 of these files I very quickly run out of HD space.it was suggested to look in Library > App Support > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop 2026 but within that I cannot see any files being stored.  I am suing Mac OS Sequoia 15.6 and Photoshop 2026. Thanks.

I'm getting pretty frustrated.  For what it's worth I am running Win 11 and I think Photoshop 2026 but how can I know because Help / About Photoshop is greyed out. For what I pay for Adobe Creative Cloud quality seems shoddy and I know y'all want me to spend $100's worth of my time researching things (can I send you an invoice?  should I take you to small claims court?  is that even allowed in the clickwrap contract?) and filing bug reports and without any SLA I'm not sure it is better than talking to the hand.  I know I should be more polite than this and it isn't cool to air dirty laundry in public but see (3) Here are three things that have me frustrated now: (1) If I am in the Windows Explorer and click on an image (say JPEG) to open it in Photoshop,  Photoshop is listed as an application to open it in but I click on it and...  nothing happens.  Expected result is that I click on the image and it opens in Photoshop.(2) So far as I c

I signed up for this platform with the thought of being able to use the photo shop and AI to create some things for my crafting hobby. I had 750 credits and never once was able to create anything. Now I have none. The program no once created what I ask. I was very specific and stated exactly what I wanted. I was direct with wording and yet it created things I never ask for. Not once creating anything I could use. If there is nothing to help me then I will just cancel this madness. My co pilot that is free does a way better job. Have a good day all.
