Hi All, I will appreaciate your help with a confusing situation.  (Running PS Elements v19 on Windows 10). When I run "Reconnect -> all missing files" it says "Preparing files... X of 721" as it runs through all X files. Then the "Reconnect missing files" dialog box (for manually reconnecting) opens and in the "Files missing from catalog" list it has 406 items. If I exit from there and choose Find -> All Missing Files in the grid then it shows "479 items" in the bottom left corner.  (I checked that Visibility -> Show All Files is checked, View -> Media Types -> Photo/Video/Audio/Projects are all checked, and View -> Hidden Files -> Show all files is checked so I dont think I'm missing anything). How can I understand how many files I am really missing?  721, 406 or 479?   Why are these numbers different? Thank you for your help/advice! Ron

photos are loading up, but when I click on them there is nothing but a gray screen and ? mark

I was using Camera Raw 14.4 with my 2021 version of Elements. Now I have the 2023 version and trying to install 15.1, but it gives me the error code 131. I've installed the installer and clicked on help in the program to install the add on. No go.  I use RAW all the time for my drone DNG picture and now I'm locked out.  Help

Hello, I'm spec'ing out my next Windows PC, and I'd like to know if the latest Photoshop Elements makes use of multiple CPU cores and/or multiple GPU cores.  The discussions I find only pertain to Photoshop, not Photoshop Elements.  If the program is not agnostic to which CPU and GPU is in use, which CPU and GPU have most favorable performance (ie, Intel vs AMD vs Nvidia)?

I have my PSE 2020 catalog and image files on a USB drive that I want to swap between machines. If I had thought it through, I would have set the drive up as P: on both machines to avoid conflicts, but I didn't. I created it by restoring from a backup on to my laptop with the drive mounted as E: Predictably, when I go to my PC, E: is already assigned and the drive is mounted as G: I was expecting that either:- PSE would take the location of the files relative to the location of the catalog and everything would workor- PSE would treat the links as absolute addresses and all of the files would be pointing to E: and have broken links. In fact, all the files which I migrated from a previous version of PSE seem to be pointing to G: without any intervention, but the ones that I have imported since moving to PSE 2020 are pointing to E:.I guess that I can fix this by:- Setting the drive up as P: on both machines- Restoring from backup to P: to create a new catalog where eve

I'm working with a 16" Macbook Pro connected to an Apple display.  When I open images they open on the laptop instad of the monitor and it's annoying when you're under time constraints to have to keep dragging all the images over to the display.  I've read that if you close down PSE when it's not maximized, it should reopen in that last place it was closed.  But how do you get the images to also open there too?  I always work from the display, edit and close from there, but images still open on the laptop.  Thanks for any suggestions!

Elements 2023 works fine for Quick or Expert mode, but Guided mode shows blank area - no edits

After installing a new printer, which works perfectly fine with other applications, my Photoshop 2020, when I hit "print" to print a photo, it wants to fax that photo. Any suggestions?

On Jun 27 I sent this message to online chat, "I was asking if there is a discount for previous users (PSE 2018, 2020) or military discount? Single use, Mac." I have received 12 return message to tell me I can get the discounted program at $59.99 but it is being processed and to stand by? There most be a simple way to do this than waiting a few weeks to get the program.I sent the asked for information and received this answer, "Will get back to you in 3 or 4 days and proceed with the order."I am wondering if this is ligit. 

Used to be able to open several photos outside the Photoshop edit window to compare each one in a series. Now I seem to need to open them in Preview in one screen and edit them individually in Photoshop Elements in another. Really clogs up the desktop. Does that option still exist under another name?

Is there a way to save multiple images at once in the "Safe for Web" format. The program let's me save individual images but I'm unable to find a way to select multiple images. Thanks

I have elements 13.  My image is locked into the upper left hand corner in editor.  How do I unlock the image

Hello, is there any easier/quicker way to remove the background behind a tree like this one on the left that has a bunch of spaces between the limbs and leaves without having to click on each one? It's a real pain and takes forever. I'm using Elements 2023...thanks in advance for any help. Karl O

I have PSE2018.  Is there any issue with storing my catalog (I only use one) on an external hard drive?  Will it slow the program down?  Is there any other way to share my catalog between my desktop and my laptop?

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. I've always been able to do Photomerge Panorama on my Macbookand now when I try to use this, I recieve the message "Error 48: File or Folder does not exist. Please help!      

Hello, does anyone know, when i would download the Photoshop Elements 2022 version, if the Camera Raw module 14.1 is automatically included?I have the new Sony A7 IV camera which should work with the CameraRaw 14.1 version, but when i downloded the PSE 2022 test version, i couldnt open the new raw files Any help would be great Thx

I open photoshop elements 2023 and want to start the editor for pictures and then it says that i have to login with my Adobe ID. So I click on the login butten and login with google (it opens the login in the browser) and say that im done and i can now close the browser window, i do that and then it just turns withe.

Hi,I managed to lose access to my photos in Elements.  The list of folders appears but when I click, it says no media available, clear filter and try again.I went further down on the list, click on This PC and C drive....it says no filters imported into Organizer.  To add, r click on folder and select import media.I did this but get a message saying 0 media files skipped because already present in catalog or not supplied.  I am tearing my hair out.  HELP!!!!!!

I'm using  PSE 2020. I want to share about 40 files with someone so they can download them. Only problem is that in sending these photos by gmail, some are large files and Google says I have to use Goggle Drive. To submit photos that way requires receiver to click on a link, which is not a problem. However, is there a better way than gmail and Google Drive for me to send these photos? Do I have to send each photo by itself?  Is there another service I could use?For    Should I just see if the receiver will accept a thumb drive? I use a MacBook Pro.

I shot photos in JPEG fine + RAW using a Nikon. The resolution of the  RAW images that I have edited is 733 for i ages that are something like 4000x 3200 pixels. If I change the resolution to 300, the size of the images changes to something like 1200 x whatever. Can I leave the recolution at abut 733 or can I change it?Is this high resolution the result of shooting in JPEG fine + RAW?

Hi, gang. My Photoshop Elements 2023 program stopped working last night (Sat 07/01). The editor would come up and allow me to make a menu choice but wouldn't load any file I chose. And then when I tried to close the window it took several seconds to do so. I have uninstalled the program (the original settings were saved), rebooted and reinstalled it but it's behaving the same way. Should I try another uninstall/reinstall or is something else at work here? HELP! And thanks. Mike!

I have Photoshop Elements 12. I have an image that I want to colorise to match a specific RGB/hex value, but in Photoshop, Enhance > Adjust Color > Adjust Hue/Saturation leads me to a pop-up box with sliders for hue, saturation and lightness, as shown below. It appears that it's only possible to judge by eye, which is not what I want.  Following the 'Help' link takes me here but none of that seems to address my problem. Am I stuck with just trying to use the sliders and judging the resulting colour by eye?

Photoshop Elements 2.0 keeps opening with a couple of "Help / Recipes / etc." dialogs along the right edge; nothing to be found in PE's Help -- only reiteration that, yes, there is a "Help / Rrecipes / etc." function on you computer now.  Never had this before Windows 10.How to stop those useless "Help / Recipe / etc." boxes from showing up ever again.No, I have no interest whatsoever in moving to any other version of PE -- this has served me completely satisfactorily.Thank you.  Your help will be, I hope, truly more helpful than anything I've found in the program or on-line.Appreciated.
