I bought Photoshop Elements 2025. For learining how to use it I went to the user guide for it on the internet (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/photoshop-elements/using/home-screen.html). There I read:- Last updated on 16 May 2021and- When you launch Elements 2019, the Home screen ...So I wonder if this is a current guide or an outdated guide.

Hello all.my topic is to import JPG + RAW as version set ("Stapel") in Photoshop Elements (PSE) Organizer 2024 under Windows 11.Menu: PSE Organizer / Import / From Camera or Card reader / Option: Automatic version set of JPG and RAWSince version 2024 PSE then shows RAW (or NEF) and hides JPG. In former versions of PSE JPG was shown and RAW was in the background. This is what I need.How to show JPG automatically in version sets ("Stapel") in PSE 2024 ?I have to import about 2.000 photos and need an automatic workflow as in former versions of PSE. Thank you for any advice and hints.Volker

I just updated on Photoshop Elements 2025 and tried to import my *.DNG files from Pentax K1 Mark II (newest software 2.50). The Elements Organizer does not recognize any of the files for import, whereas the last version 2024 of Photoshop did easily. Does someone know how to import and edit these files?

Hi! I have Photoshop Elements 2025 on a Mac. Whenever I print I get this message "Did you remember to enable to color management in the printer preferences dialog box?"The way this is worded makes it sounds like it is a checkbox or some other sort of clickable choice but I cannot find any such thing in any of the print related UI. I did find the option Color Management, and the printer is managing the color, and that is the default which I am choosing to keep.Am I missing something?

On multiple occasions when I attempt to open Elements 2025 the workspace freezes just before the Notification icon appears. Thus nothing works. To attempt to retry to open the program I have to close all other programs and reboot my computer. Today I have not been able to use the program even after multiple attempts.

Hi, In Elements 2020: How can you paint colour, onto an image, with the mouse please? Can see the paintbrush / sponge tools, but they won't add strokes of colour to my image. I want to create freeform splotches on my image. Help please - many thanks!

I used a Full Backup to Recover my Organizer. It has reappeared  in the Organizer in the same structure(Catalogs/ My Catalog/My Photos/ Photo Backup by Year/ Photo Backup by Year) that I originally used.But in the Explorer view the Structure Has Changed. The Files are no longer sorted into folders by Year. See attached screenshot After the list of folders for every day's shooting I find my "MY Photos" folder listed along with everything else on that EHD.  I use an EHD for my Catalog so that I can access it when I travel and am using my laptop. I previosly imported Photos from the camera directly into the My Photos folder of My Catalog.Question 1      How can I restore the structure to the Explorer version of the Catalog? Can I do it within Organizer?Question 2      To download my photos from the camera from Organizer how can I restore the structure I had with "My Photos"in it ? Otherwise all my photos will be in this gigantic list for each d

I finally did a complete backup of my photo catalogue in Photoshop Elements 24.  I checked the backup -- the photos are there, with numeric names that bear no relationship to what's in my catalogue.  My folders that appear in the catalogue are not in the backup.  If I ever have to resort to using the backup, it's useless to me.  Maybe I don't understand the backup function in Photoshop Elements 24.I thought that I would see the photos, with the identifiers that appear in the catalogue, as well as the folders that I used to organize the individual photos.  Did I do something wrong? Thank you for your help.

Not sure if these two symptoms are related, but the file dialog on PSE 2025 repeatedly crashes, and twice in the recent past PSE 2025 has abruptly closed, losing all my work.I am not doing anything special, just editing a JPG file. It appears to be an unstable release, and I see no updates for it. May have to go back to using an earlier version.Running it on a Windows 11 desktop system.Most recent failure and loss of work occurred yesterday when I clicked on "Save As"; info was sent automatically to Adobe.

I attempted to Restore my Catalog using a recent Full Backup. The Restore has gone so far as to load the images but they remain "grayed out" after 24 hours. I can see that this is the correct Catalog and these are the latest Photos imported. Why can't I see the photos? Steps so far:Ran OptimizeRan Repair - It says no errors found. I did the Repair Anyway selection.Verified that the Catalog it is refering to is the correct one. See image below. Inside the folder I see a complete list of the folders that used to appear under MY Catalog. I believe the current structure in the Recovery page screenshot has not been updated because the Recovery will not complete. Should I run Recovery again?

Have been using Nik Collection for a while with PSE 2023. One day an error message stated that there was insufficient ram... the after that the error message states: "Functionality is currently not available"There are no issues with all the other Nik Collection tools.The Viveza folder exists in the plugin folder for PSE, and shows up in the Nik Palette.However, Viveza no longer shows up in the Filters sub menu. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Nik multiple times (with restarts), and just uninstalled and reinstalled PSE 2023. Still have this issue. Has anyone else seen this?Thank you

Request for AssistanceHello! I have a question about PSE8 and the process for restoring a backup. I realize this is an older program, but I've always been very satisfied with it and never saw the need to upgrade, as I'm quite comfortable using it. Over the years, I haven't had any issues—until now. Unfortunately, my external hard drive, where I stored both my pictures and catalogue files, has crashed.I am familiar with the backup function in PSE8 Organizer, including the incremental backup options, and I have created such backups for my two catalogues—though I’ve never had to restore and use the procedure until now. In addition to those, I also keep regular backups of my files using Windows Explorer, where I copy and paste exactly the entire folder structure, including all picture files (RAW, JPEG, NEF), corresponding XMP files, and catalogue files. My current question concerns this latter type of backup.If I now purchase a new external hard drive and assign it the same drive letter (i

bonjour,je viens d'acheter un nouveau PC Asus neuf, vierge, Win11 Pro..Je réinstalle tous mes logiciels dont Photoshop et Premiere Element 2023.Systématiquement je tombe sur l'erreur code 183, qui arrête nette l'installation.Les conseils donnés par la page d'aide donnée par Adobe, ne m'aide pas du tout.Que faire ?Merci pour toute aide. 

I was unable to download pictures froman SD card to my organizer. Kept coming back as no media found. I was able to downlaoded them to microsoft photo.  I went back to organizer to bring them into photoshop elements and the file came back corrupted or unable to recognize format.  Don't know what to do and I need the pictures . Anyone have any advice. Thanks Rich

 

I am running Mac OS 15.5. I just upgraded to PSE 25. I converted my 3 catalogs. Two are fine. The third shows this screen when I try to Backup and/or Reconnect Missing Files. I optimzed the catalog but this still appears.  I also tried letting it auto reconnect, and it ran through everything but obviously since so files are listed there is nothing to reconnect. Any ideas? 

I just reinstalled Windows 11 from scratch. Then, after installing Office365 and a few useful apps, I tried to install Photoshop Elements 2023 that I purchased on Oct. 9th, 2023. and have been using since. PhotoshopElements_2023_LS30_win64.exe was downloaded from my Adobe account and I tried to install it. First en error: MSVCR120.dll cannot be found, then Error Code: 183. WOW thanks! What to do!?

I tried to install a download of Photoshop Elements 10 on my Windows 11 system.  I "think" everything went fine.  I was prompted to restart my system to complete instalation.  Now my system won't reboot.  It's stuck on the HP screen, computer manufacturer.  I can't get my computer to load. What do I do?  Any help, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  I hate to think that installing this software killed my system. Please help!

I have 2 laptops, one is a clone of the other. I am running Photoshop Elements (PSE) 2024 on both computers. On laptop #1 my PSE catalog is: 6.21 GB,  242,173 files. I created a full backup to my external hard drive from it. The backup file on the external hard drive: size on disk: 176 GB,  234,474 Files. When I try to restore it from the backup file to the PSE on laptop #2, it fails with a message saying that I do not have enough disk space. The catalog size on laptop #2 now shows  457 GB,  1,372,044 Files!! The backup/restore process uses exactly the same SPSE software on each laptop. Clearly, something is wrong with the PSE software.  PLEASE RESPOND!   [Personal information removed by moderator.]

I am running Photoshop Elements 2018 version 16.0 (20170902.m.113423). My laptop is running Windows 10 (version 1802 OS Build 17134.81).  I mostly use Elements Organizer to catalog my photos. I have a single catalog with about 50,000 photos in it.Recently I have been encountering errors whenever I attempt ANY action that involves making a change to the catalog. For example:- attempt to apply a keyword tag, get "Error applying keyword tag(s)"- attempt to create a new keyword tag, get "Error creating new keyword tag"- automatic import of new photos in my watch folders appears to complete successfully but no photos are imported- attempt to delete a photo from the catalog, "Error deleting media"- attempt to rename a keyword tag, get "Error editing name"- attempt to change the date/time on a photo, get "Error changing date/time"etc. I have attempted many changes, each time I get an message saying Error doing whatever action I was attempting.I use organizer a LOT; cannot pinpoint exactl

Dear all,I have installes Elements 2023 on my Win11 machine but it can't open the RAW files of my Canon R6 Mark II.I've already checked out the content of the community but I can't find out how to get the necessary Camera Raw version installed.@Jeff Arola  I've seen you have helped another member successfully by advising him to copy some folders back and forth, however my folder structure seems to be different.Where can I see which Camera Raw version my installation is currently using?I can only see that these are my builts of Elements.Elements Organizer 21.0.0.0Core-Version: 21.0 (20230329.Git.master.77124fa)Sprachversion: 21.0 (20230329.Git.master.77124fI'd highly appreciate any help in this matter! My text is default on RTL, how do i change it to LTR? i cant find it in the Tools menu.

. . . KILLED IT! I paid for this software in 2014 - it worked fine until this reinstall attempt from my unupgradeable Win10 computer (yes, I uninstalled it). I don't use it often enough to subscribe. I keep getting the round and round, sign in, okay you can continue, back to sign in, and on and on and on. I've read all of the posts I can find, but no one seems to know how to get around the Adobe sign-in. Adobe does NOT have my Adobe PSE7, 9, or 13 listed.  Adobe has been a pain since I started using it because of their attitude to their 'earlier' products - if it works, why should I have to replace it because they 'say' they have no access to verify license. I can't even get to the point where I would enter the Serial#. If anyone has any new information, it would be appreciated as I see folks who are funning PSE7 on their Win11. PSE13 ought to then as well. HELP!!!
