Questions

My clip cannot be shown until the end on my timeline. The original is longer and when I double click on the clip, the popup window can also play the full length. I've already downloaded the clip as media again, restarted etc, so that doesn't work. What am I doing wrong. See below. Clip ends well before end on monitor, but clip continues in popup.

I've got quite a few DVD's that I made a few years ago which I didn't make a very good job of. I've tried using the option of adding media from a DVD but this doesn't seem to work properly.  The files come up as VOB files (whatever that means) so I've tried finding a program that will convert to MPEG which seems better. And I can only find free trial versions. Can anyone advise (in simple language) the best way to go about this that would enable me to put transitions, effects and titles in that i should have done in the first place if I'd known what i was doing? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, I'm new to Premiere Elements, so apologise in advance for the noob question.I downloaded the trial version of Premiere 2020 and loved the workflow, so I clicked "Buy Now" from the application and proceeded to checkout. I didn't realise that I was brought to the checkout page of Elements 2021, so I did the purchase without actually realising it. The 2021 license won't work when I try to activate Elements 2020, and I cannot upgrade my Mac OS because of other softwares compability issues.Is there a way to obtain a license for 2020?Thank you very much,regards.

I am running Premiere Elements 12.1 on an iMac running macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.6.  I have successfully created a number of 2 hour DVDs with Memorex +R DL DVDs using the highest quality option.  I recently ran out of those and purchased Verbatim +R DL DVDs and get "unknown error 2130932483" every time I try to use one.  I have tried to create 15 minute and 2 hour DVDs but all fail. Does anyone know what part of my overall configuration is causing this problem?  Any help would be appreciated. I now have 3 version PE15, 2020 (18) and 2021 (19).How do I pull all my projects from the previous versions into PE 2021 prior to uninstalling them? 

I realise it's obviously possible in expert mode. Overall quick mode is more than sufficient for the level I am at and very short simple videos I make. I am able to change the text colour in quick mode but not the background colour, which would be nice if possible.   Thanks in advance  

So, I was editing my video, when all of a sudden the area between the part where you view the video and the clips at the bottom went from blue to tan, and the add text feature was replaced by a single button that says "Edit in Expert Edit." Any way that I can change this back. Screenshot included. 

Hi!I am using Premier Elements version 12 (upgraded from 11) for a many years. Currently I\m looking for whats is new in PE2021. So I install the trial copy to my comp operating under Win10 (Intel 2500k, 16Gb, SSD) and realized that it's crushed every time I tryed to import and work with my camera (Panasonic HC-V770) MTS fullHD files (1920x1080 60p)I do not think this is usual behavior of the software, so please can anybody advise my to do something to fix the problem? May be I need to install some video libs or anything else? My PE12 on the same computer works fine with the files. Both PE12 and PE2021 recognizes MTS video correctly as AVCHD 1080p videous 59,94 frames/sec. But afterI put the video on timeline in Expert mode, PE2021 plays the video not smooth, with some interraptions and usuallycrashes when I try to edit or view/rewind.

Any idea how do I re-enable automatic start/end without having to restart the applicaiton (2020)? Every time I accidentally move the start or the end marker, I then have to double click the timeline every time before I export and I do forget a lot.

Project Settings Question I captured 1980-era VHS tape using a very good JVC VHS player and a USB A-to-D capture device. I captured using H.264 video codec; either AVI or MP-4 seems ok (look the same). I’m using Premier Elements 11, as it seems just fine for editing from original VHS tapes, with the edited video destined for DVD. I am aware that, usually, Premier Elements sets the project settings according to the settings embedded in the first clip (or entire one-asset project) added to the timeline. But that’s not happening for my VHS to AVI (or MP-4) projects. So I go to File>New>Project to establish the project settings. In the project settings dialog, TWO of the settings seem appropriate, but there is one difference.Option 1: “NTSC>DV>Standard 48Khz”, which results in a project that has the following settings: Standard NTSC video, 4:3 interlaced, 720x480, 29.97fps, PAR .9091, Fields: Lower Field First. Option 2: “NTSC>Hard Disc and Camcorders>

Hi, I'm in the process of of buying a new desktop with Windows 10 after our Windows 7 machine got toasted in a power failure. I have a disk with the PS and Premiere Elements 13 Student bundle. Will it install and run on Windows 10? Thanks.

I'd like to copy the audio track, from Premier 21, paste it into Cubase, my music DAW,  edit it and then put it back into Premier.  Can it be done?  Is it a wave file that I would be playing with?

Just downloaded Premiere Elements 2021. I can add MP4s and JPEGS from GoPro 8 to a project. As soon as I apply any edit, the system becomes unstable. Sometimes: Media pending. Sometimes: Software not responding. Windows 10, 64 bit, i7, external SSD. Anay help would be welcome. 

I have Adobe Premiere Elements 2020. Whenever I am adding transitions it will freeze. The program will not save. It also won't close. The only way to fix it is to restart my PC. After that it will freeze up again after a few minutes.

Hello, I import a vidéo from my iphone, in format mov, in adobre premiere element 2020 (with windows 10) and i have a big image latency. My vidéo are in 60 fps but the we have the impression that is in 5 fps.Same effect when i export the vidéo.I searched but i don't know what to do. Thanks in advance, Kévin

I am using the trial for Premiere Elements 2020 on a PC. I made a movie and want to try the "Export & Share" option to YouTube or Vimeo. When I select YouTube or Vimeo and then click "Begin Share" I am greeted with a grey screen and no options. Any ideas why? Is this a limitation of the trial but I do not receive an alert? I attached a screenshot for reference. 

When I edit videos using Premiere Elements 2019 the audio almost never works. Each time I add a video clip, the old clips stop working. I found the only way to hear the audio is to shut elements down and reopen it. However this leads to a temporary solution. I am adding hours to my editing sorrows because of this issue. What's the deal. The audio is not muted, it in no disabled, it is not low...it just stops working. Here is a link to a video of the issue...any help would be greatly appreciated. Hi all,I've noticed that when I add a bunch of photos from a collection into the collage, it does not add them in order. This is a pain if you want to use your photos in order. Is there a way to sort them? The file names are in numeric order upon which they were taken...

Can it convert video from one format to another?

See 3 x pics below. JPEG (still) images imported from Photoshop Elements into Premiere Elements* lose quality as soon as you press play on the timeline.However, they show fine if the timeline is paused see fig 1 so they seem to get into Premiere ok. So I'm therefore wondering if there is an interleafing problem or similar.Note, To try and narrow this problem down further I've also just tried this with the just the 'horses' image on its own on a blank background;in a new Premiere Project without any motion paths and still the same degradation occurs to the JPEG image once I press play on the timeline (i.e. this is not now relating to overlays or motion paths, but a generic problem with JPEGS).*I'm guessing that this would apply to Premiere Pro as well as Elements and MAYBE i'll get more responses from that forum?!
