After recent updates, the voice over recording doesn't record anything. it works sometimes when I change workspace and then stops working any more. there is no problem with the hardware. it is a sequence issue. I click on the record and it pretends it is recording but then it has recorded nada. what can I do to fix it without that work around to create new sequence and etc..
When I right click on the clip, Edit clip in Adobe Audition, it's not going to audition
I am working on a very heavy project with multiple sources, green screen and virual backgrounds. It took me over five hours to render this thing out and when I shut it down and re-opened it, all my renders were gone. In fact one time I duplicated a sequence and lost half the render files. I am on Premiere Pro 2020 and this is a major problem. I have more of the shows comming and if this keeps up I will have to switch to Avid. Is there anyway to avoid this?
When I have source clips connected to both raw footage and proxies and "Make Offline", the metadata field in my bin, under "Status", would helpfully say, "Offline". However, recently, this field still says "Online" after I've disconnected source clips from raw footage (see below); so I can't tell if they've been disconnected or not. Many of our editors work off-site, so we send them an SSD with proxies only, so it's helpful for me to disconnect the source clips from the raw media beforehand.
How do I fix a Lip Sync error? I have a video file (MPG) that plays perfectly. However once imported into Priemier Pro V25.0 the sync gets messed up by approx 10-15 nanoseconds or so. Is there something in the sequence settings that I am missing? I never had this issue before. I am very new to video editing.
I had been working on a project in PP and when I brought it to a different computer I was not able to delete a clip on the timeline. I have updated the software, tried to shut down and start again. Has anybody ever had this problem and how to solve?
Hello - Is there an issue with Adobe's Cloud servers today? My editor and I have been collaborating on a Team Project for weeks, and suddenly this morning when I open Premiere it tells me I am Disconnected - I've tried opening other team projects, rebooting computer, and uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere. No dice. I appear to be the only person in our office having this issue 😞Currently using v24.6.5 on MacOS 15.5
Some projects in Premiere Pro become very slow, especially playback with in the timeline lagging, after a few hours of use and then the only way to get it back to normal performance is to exit the programme and reboot the computer. Rebooting Premiere or my graphics driver doesn't help. It is especially bad when working with a project that uses a lot of images. After restarting the PC, things are back to normal for a while. What can be causing this? It has happened to me using various versions of Premiere.
Hello I was going about my own business and editing a video when a dialog box saying "MME device internal error" popped up. My audio was no longer playing during video previews, and when I went to the Audio Devices tab in Preferences to try to change the output device, I received the same error message. If anyone could tell me the fix ASAP, it would be much appreciated. Thank you!
The premiere file I'm editing on was created on a different device but the original clips were copied from the one I'm now trying to use. The and MP3 and some .MOV files can be located:However, when I try to locate some of the .MOV and .MTS files it does not let me use the clip, saying that they are not the same file type, even though they are the same video copied from another.I successfully located the same files onto another device last night, which was not the same one used to create the premiere file, but when I tried to do it on this laptop after purchasing a subscription for Premiere, it does not work so I am slightly confused. I hope this makes sense. Is there any way I can resolve this issue & use these clips?
When we export the video from Premiere Pro, the colors appear washed out and there's a noticeable loss of contrast compared to how it looks inside the software. It seems like the exported file isn’t retaining the original color grading and vibrancy. Please let us know how to fix this issue or if any specific export settings need to be adjusted to preserve the correct colors and contrast.
Seeing what Davinchi Resolve and CapCut have achieved in masking and morphing where those can be done by just one button I'm starting to feel sorry for Premiere Pro which has tons of outdated effects and transition still in 2024 and cannot do those things itself. Is there a chance Premiere pro will get at least good morphing (morph cut really is terrable in morphing) and removing background with Ai? Rotoscoping in After Effects is horribly slow and After Effects on the whole is other software. I really start to envy those who can click a button or draw a "magic mask" inside the software and immediatelly get the result. The only way to do it rather fast "in Premiere pro" is using Quick Matte which is not available in Premiere Pro - so again we jump into other software which is Ae and use a third party plugin. How much more?
Hi there.I've searched for an answer to the following and tried a few examples I found. I'm running a python script from Premiere Pro 24.Usingvar result = window.cep.process.createProcess(path_to_python_exe, path_to_python_script) The python script then generates a json file.Using result.data i can get the pid of the process. But. window.cep.process.onquit(result.data) or process.isRunning never trigger and can't seem to find the process. I'm on windows. Is this a known bug? Is the process detached somehow? I put a delay at the end of the python script in case it was finished too fast, but it made no difference. The json file gets created each time. Any help appreciated Cheers
Thanks to @R Neil Haugen I've just discovered the wonders of auto tonemapping for my Panasonic Log files, and now curious if there's a work-around for Nikon z-log (EOSHD product, D850, yeah, files are 8b 420 but still hopeful because highlights are tricky.)
Pudo solucionarlo?
Hi all, Since yesterday I can't export my videos. I do see the export optio, but the shortcut is grey. When I try to export using the tabs in the upper left corner, I get a preloader and nothing happens. I tried everything I could find, no succes... Does anyone else know this problem?
I've exported a clip of 15 minutes in 1920x1080, H.264, with the preset "Match Source, Adaptive High Bitrate" (which turned out to be about 16 MBit/s). It turned out about a size of 1,8 GB. So I thought, let's try to make the file size smaller, and chose HEVC (H.265), also a bitrate of 16 MBit/s, with VBR. The clip turned out amost the same size, only a bit larger... With CBR with settings on "good", it's also the same size... So I'm not sure what to do – I thought that H.265 would render into smaller file sizes... What did I do wrong?Any hints would be appreciated! Thanks a lot.
My gt 730 graphics card not supporting premiere pro 2025 it's saying unsupported video driver Any solution

Premiere CC does not read mp4 files (xavc s) from Sony A7S II. It is informing about folowing error: "Unsupported format or damaged file." This problem occured suddenly. Earlier (I bought this type of Sony one year ago)I have had never such kind of errors or problems. I had to start working on Premiere CS6, which reads mentioned files without any complications. How can I eliminate this fault and how can I load my mp4 files into Premiere CC? I would be very appreciate for any help and quick response as I use Sony and Premiere on my daily basic as a work tools. email: z.irzyk@op.pl
I'm working on automating some methods or workflow in Adobe Premiere Pro using ExtendScript, particularly around multicam sequences and timecode-based editing.I have a few specific questions I'm hoping someone can confirm are possible through scripting:1. Multicam Timecode Synchronization: Is it possible to programmatically synchronize clips inside a multicam sequence using their embedded timecodes(e.g., "00:01:23:10") (instead of relying on audio sync)? If not directly, is there a known workaround?2. Creating Markers Using Timecodes: Can markers be added at precise timecode positions (e.g., "00:01:23:10") on both:Clip level (projectItem)Sequence level (timeline track)...without converting timecodes into seconds manually?3. Setting In/Out Points via Timecode: Is there a way to set the inPoint and outPoint of a clip or a multicam clip based on timecode, rather than time in seconds or ticks?Any insights or workarounds would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I am running Premiere Pro 25.2.3 (build 4). After Importing the clips in the project window things go like this: - I am working on a 1080p vertical timeline- I am dragging the 4k vertical clips to it (10-12 clips all at the same time)- I have Premiere pro set to "Fit to frame" I click on Keep existing settings when asked about the resolution mismatch so basicly all clips should be at a 50% scale automatically being that i use 4k footage on a 1080p timeline. The bug I am noticing (and it used to work propely): every other clip is very zoomed it (to 100%). So one clip is at 50% as it should, the next is at 100%, the next one is at 50%, the next one is at 100%. All the clips are shot on the same camera, same settings, it's 100% a Premiere Pro bug because I worked like this a lot. I just wanted to share this hoping it will be fixed because it takes me extra time in order to fix the scaling of a lot of clips each day. Thank you!
I have used .MOV files in Premiere for well over a year with no issues until about a week ago I opened the program to find that every shot of my edit had been turned into a green screen with some glitchy lines on it. I tried to use Media Encoder to change the files to MP4 or WMV but in the encoder I have the same exact issue, it just shows a green screen & plays the audio.- All my footage within the last year now has the same issue, I did not change any camera setttings & these shots all previously had no issues so I knoe it's not that my footage is any different.- I did not update Premiere, I also tried multiple different older versions & the problem is the same- I used VLC to convert .MOV to MP4, it converts & plays fine outside of Adobe but once I put the new MP4 version into Premiere, it just turns green again.- I cannot find a single video or forum post of anyone having this problem.- I did not alter any of my PC's settings or Adobe project settings, this error jus
Hi ALL, Hope you can help me out, So, whenever I finish using a sequence for the day, I render it all (Green bars everywhere, the good stuff, I then save and quit) However, whenever I open up the sequence the next day, I open with the rendered footage now appearing Red (this isn't a different document or an earlier save, the exact one). I've googled, and tried to look through various places such as; Youtube, personal forums, social media, but no luck. So thought it might be worth asking on here. Kind Regards, Luke Penning
