When I cut to black in my video, it seemingly randomly freezes on the last frame of the prior clip. This only happens during export, and I believe to be just smaller clips...? I can't exactly discern a pattern for this glitch, but it doesn't occur in smaller exports, only large ones (Such as the one I'm currently wanting to export, which is ~6.5 hours). Does anyone know why this could be happening?(Little section to list the things I've tried: Replacing blank spots with black video, colour matte, etc. Ensuring there are no VFR files, exporting in media encoder,  and placing black video above all nests at appropriate spots)

Hello, I am hoping someone can help me with an issue I've been having all week. I am trying to edit a video and my playback is not working; everytime I hit the play button, there's a 30 second lag until the video starts playing (if at all). It plays a few seconds of video, then freezes on a frame and plays audio only until the video finishes.  My screen and playhead freeze along with it. Even force quit won't shut down Premiere when this happens.I tried clearing my media cache, prefrences, and creating proxies (as this is long, 4K footage) but nothing has worked. I re-rendered the entire timeline (mostly green w a little bit of yellow now), then detatched the proxies and created new ones at a smaller resolution (960x540). My proxy button is toggled on, and I have restarted my computer and premiere multiple times. Now nothing from the sequence will preview, I just see a black screen, although my screen will allow the playhead to scrub through.  My system specs:&

Bonsoir, Dans le tutoriel de Valentina épisode 7 "How to sync video and audio", j'ai fais les mêmes réglages sur la séquence source de camera multiple mais je n'arrive pas a changer les cameras avec le pavé numérique ( 1, 2 et 3 qu'elle utlilise pour switcher entre elle ), sur la timeline avec la video synchronisé.Y a t'il  quelque chose a activer ou n'est ce plus possible ? Je tiens a préciser que je rencontre plusieurs problème car elle utilise la version 2023 et moi la version 2025.2.3. J'arrive cependant a trouver la solution dans beaucoup de situation en faisant des recherches sur adobe, sur le net ou sur YT mais là je ne trouves rien a ce sujet. Merci d'avance.

We're using the Nvidia RTX 3050 6GB fanless (Palit) GPU. At certain moments, we get a constant warning that the GPU fan isn't running, which is 100% correct. 🙂 There isn't one. Where can we put this message off? We couldn't find it in the PP settings. Thanks for answering! Best René

I went to the Grand Canyon. We had a videographer as well as my GoPro. I forgot to reset the time and date on my GoPro. I found a tool that allowed me to update the “date created” in file explorer. When I imported it into Premier Pro it did not have the updated “date created”. I looked at all the date fields with no luck. I tried to see if I could do something in Bridge but it is too limited. However, in Bridge the ”date file created” is the corrected date. Can not figure out how Premier Pro can’t see my corrected date and Bridge can. I need to be able to know in Premier Pro how to get the corrected date

When i am attempting to balance the audio for final delivery to the satelite company, i run the loudness meter to make sure its at -24 for LKFS. But randomly it will crash my mac studio so badly, it restarts the whole thing. I believe when i am running the loudness meter it takes up so much more computing power that it overloads and the computer cannot keep up. I seem to be the only one in the office that this happens to. But no settings are different between us all. I can see the option apple escape menu pop up on its own and it says "your system has run out of memory" and force quit to continue. if i dont catch it in time, the whole computer restarts on its own and looses its memory. Meaning, recently opened programs in premiere are gone as well as after effects. 

Hi,  is this a bug? When I try to add clips to match the Markers, using "Automate to Sequence", a 1 frame gap is left between the clips. I have to manually extend the duration to get rid of the gap. What's the issue? How to solve it? Is it a bug? I tried looking online but there were no solutions. I've tried matching the frame rate, installing the new Premiere Pro, trying to do it as a new project out, but all the same. Still the 1 frame gap for certain clips (not all, weirdly). And no, it's not because the clips are shorter than the marker duration (I could still extend it).Thanks!

Creating a rolling credit in version 23.4 is nearly impossible. There's large offset between the cursor and the text as you go on filling the text and its very difficult to edit the text. If anyone's there at Adobe, just try to create a long rolling credit and find the issue. Hope this will get fixed in the next update. I still want the Legacy Title for premiere pro.

Hi there, Currently I'm using Premiere Pro 24.6.5 version and but issue started when I updated my premiere to latest 2025 version, the assets on my timeline are visible as black layer (as shown in a image attacted) while preview of timeline. sometimes the assets are visible but sometimes its just converting into black happening with multiple assets in project this is just one example, and after exporting the video some sort of black and white box is appearing in the video i tried re-rendering multiple time but the issue persist, so I downgraded my premiere and i am facing same issue in 2024 version as well I uninstalled and installed Premiere pro multiple times but no solution Please help me I shared my project with my friend and he is not facing these issues in his system so I think my premiere has an issue please help what should I do?? Things I tried Already -- Upgrading Premiere (24.6.5 to 25.2.3)- Downgraded Premiere (24.6.5 to 24.0)- Uninstalled Premiere and removed all file

So my PC laptop recently updated to Windows 11. After the update I started having playback issues with audio lagging in Premiere Pro. It didn't matter whether I was playing clips in the source monitor or timeline. It would play at rapid pace (like x2 speed) and drop frames for about 1-2 seconds and then start to play normal. Everytime!! I tried clearing cache, updating drivers, changing preview codecs and nothing would work. However I discovered the way to fix the issue is to change the Audio Hardware Input to No Input. In Premiere, Go to Preferences>Audio Hardware. Change the first dropdown, the default input to No Input. Not sure if this bug or issue has been reported and I'm also not sure what changing to No Input will change for other features.

Hello,I'm trying to replace some footage in my sequence with a new version.  The current section has been retimed, but when I replace it with the new clip from the bin, it doesn’t carry over the retiming.Is this a glitch, or am I overlooking something? Thank you!!!

I ended my editing session, reopened the project the next day, and numerous Media files were not found.I’m on a Mac mini running Premiere Pro 2025.I did save my project, and a backup, on another drive.  I have AutoSave turned on.Doesn't matter, though, because the backup and the Autosave files have the same files that are missing. The method I was using in this project was as follows: Video was shot on my iPhone. I waited for the videos to sync with iCloud. I opened the Photos app on the Mac Mini, and they were all visible. In Photos app, I created a collection and put the videos in the collection I opened Premiere Pro and created a BIN I wanted to place the files in.  In the Photos app and I selected the files I wanted to edit. ChoseImage Menu Edit WithAdobe Premiere 2025.   This imported all the selected files into the BIN.  (I tried Many other methods, but only got JPGs, or .mov files with no sound.  Or the files just didn’t import.  This was the only w

I do a lot of 20-30 camera multi cam edits. Once you nest the sequence, and enabled multi cam, it used to say what camera you were on as well as the file name. Now it just says the file name and it's driving me crazy. How can I get it back?

I don't know why only ONE sequence is not working. Here's a video example of what is happening, I don't know why of 5 sequence only one can't do the Audition workflow, also I tried to do an OMF and when I opened Auditon it says "all 39 of the 39 files are missing". Please I need an answer asap, I can't believe this.  

After playing a while with auto reframe functionality, it looks like Premiere Rush (desktop version) does it better than Pro in some scenes. I tried with same material on both applications without doing any finetuning. Is the AI-engine different or what makes the difference? 

Hello everyone! I just got a new PC, installed premiere and the other programs I use (photoshop and AE). Now when I use Premiere Pro, my second monitor keeps turning off and on for a second whenever I change screens to another program This happens JUST when Premiere Pro is on, didnt happen with Photoshop and AE. Funny thing is, when Premiere Pro is on, even taking my headset off and on turned the second monitor off and on. Anyone had a similar problem? My new PC have a RTX 3080, main monitor is using a display port and second monitor using HDMI Thanks for any help

Have notised in timeline where video and audio tracks there is 2-3 frames Gap in betwwen tracks and panel border. ( Ver. 25.2.3 Build 4)Have attechement to check. 

the app is atking 30+ gega bites from my storage is that normal? and if not how can i fix it? 

"Failed to rename the production folder" it says when all projects are closed and I try to rename the productions file. What is the problem? Also, I fail to see a way to save the production as a new folder with a new name ("Save as" refers to the open project, not the productions file). What to do if I wish to make a duplicate or a backup of the entire thing? Copy it manually and change the name in the windows finder itself? Thanks

I AM A NEWBIE TO PREMIER PRO AND I AM UNABLE TO FIND ESSESNTIAL GRAPHIC IN PREMIER PRO LATEST VERSION IN MACBOOK I WANT TO USE RESPONSIVE DESIGN BUT I CANT THEIRS NO OPTION LIKE THAT.  

Hi there,  firstly i am a newbie to premier pro, i have the latest version and have followed what i would believe to be the right steps and imported from the opening page by clicking the first of a list of photo files in tiff format and they do all import as pictures and they do not sequence although the sequence button is pressed. ! therefore i have a jolt every clip. Please can somebody guide me! none of the videos online on this topic are up to date with the latest software thank you and apologies if this is a stupid question ! it did work before a few weeks ago !  The photos are in TIFF - they have been edited in lightroom and exported as the edited TIFF files and all the number sequencig is as Lr exports. NOt sure what else it could be sorry !  

Everytime I am setting up the workspace as per my convenience, it's changing immediately after closing a file. I tried to save a new layout and use that too but still the problem persists. Adobe should look into it on priority, it's affecting the productivity of artists to setup the workspace everytime before working.

I got a botched up project that I inherited from another editor and the issue is that there's actual proxies on the timeline. In the last project that was like this I was just able right click on the clip > click on reveal in project > then right click and > hit replace footage and search for it in explorer. But now "replace footage" is greyed out. The clips are merged clips but I'm sure this didnt make a difference in the last project. Also I copied and pasted a lot of footage from the last project into this new one, not sure if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance.
