Hi. I opened up Premiere for my second day of free trial. The files and the sequence I cut yesterday are not showing up. I can see they are there, because the names are still there, but the images are blank grey. What to do?
Request for Complete Premiere Pro C++ SDK Dear Adobe Developer Support, I am currently developing a professional-grade plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro using C++. I have downloaded the SDK packages labeled for 2022, 2023, and 2024 from the Adobe Developer site. However, these SDKs appear to be incomplete — specifically, they do not contain essential header files such as PrSDKPlugPlug.h and PrSDKPlugin.h, which are required for building native effect plug-ins using the classic C++ API (not UXP or CEP). It seems that recent public SDK versions only contain sample projects or partial UXP/JavaScript resources, and not the full set of headers and libraries required for native C++ development. Therefore, I kindly request access to the complete C++ Premiere Pro SDK, including all core header files and libraries necessary to build and integrate a fully functional native plug-in. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide either: A direct download link to the full SDK package, or Inst
Hi All,I am getting blue lines on alpha channel export.I animated lower thirds and exported it on alpha channel. When I import it to premiere it works fine but later on if i restart premiere to make any changes it shows blue lines on that alpha channel. I have attached screenshots as well. Please help me in fixing it. Thanks.
Howdy!First off, I *do not* need nor want subtitles. I *need* closed captions. Premier Pro is truncating my closed captions, meaning that, once I upload to YouTube, I have to go *BACK* in and fix it--bascially doing double the work. How can I fix this or work around it? Again, I *do not* need or want subtitles; I *need* closed captions. I *need* my audience to have the option of turning on or off the captions at will. Subtitles are on the screen 100% of the time, and this disrupts data I put on screen. The CA-708 gives me 42 characters per line, but only two lines, meaning *normal* diaglogue is cut off.
Hello! I've been Googling for hours and tried so many different things for this, but am at a complete loss! I have an interview recorded as dual mono - 2 lav mics. I can see that both channels were recorded (pic of waveform in source monitor attached), but when I bring into timeline it only takes from Channel one (pic of timeline attached). This means Person 2 can only be heard from Person 1's lav mic. I can also see in my Modify>Audio Channels window that both Clip 1 & 2 are only going into Channel 1 - which is probably the issue here, but I can't see any way to change that (pic of window attached). I have tried altering my seqeunce settings in every configuration but no joy - they are currently set to mono. I'm running Premiere Pro 14.6 2020 (unable to update any further as am running an old iMac (2012 currently on Catalina 10.15.7 - again, unable to update any more...!) If anyone can help on this I will be eternaly grateful...! Thanks s
Not sure if anyone else has run across this, but sometimes, when I use the Essential Sound and apply a dialogue preset (in most of my cases: Dialgoue > Balanced High/Low Tone Voice), the Dynamics tab gets stuck and displays the message "Clip Content Analysis in Progress." I've restarted, cleaned cache, and rendered out the seq (in case it was just a preview thing)...none of that helps...BUT what does help, is if you go into the Effect Controls for the Audio, and then de-select and re-select the Fx icon for Dynamics Processing, the magical Priemere Pro gears get unstuck and the audio is processed. I've cut the track into smaller segments, and then perhaps one gets unstuck and processes the audio but the others don't ever complete processing, even if they're much shorter than before (I assume because the original file is still one large/long audio file). I have a lab of 30 PCs and some are running into an issue where select all, CTRL+A, is not working in the Import Tab. All systems are running Win10 22H2 and running Premiere Pro 25.1. The systems are all the same model and have no extensions installed as well. This is ONLY happening in the Import Tab. Also no user has messed with the Keyboard Preferences. They are all set to default. Select all works fine elsewhere in Premiere (Timeline, project bin, ect) and there are no issues with CTRL+A in Windows. I have gone as far as switching out keyboards and that has not solves the issue.
GoPro action camera files lose quality in Premiere. Any solutions or suggestions?I noticed that GoPro files are losing quality in Premiere. Any suggestions for exporting files that don't lose quality for uploading to social media, such as YouTube? Outside of Premiere, the original files are wonderful, but when you import them into the program and export them, they appear pixelated. Mod note: changed the title to reflect the issue.
Hey all. Desperately in need of help. Adobe Premiere has, for whatever reason, stopped giving me any audio playback at all. I know the clips have audio, and the wav forms show in the sequence, but when played, the audio meters don't register anything at all. No tracks are muted. I'm running the most current verion of '25, running it off a Lenovo Thinkpad X1. I didn't (intentionally anyway) change any settings. The audio works outside of Premiere so it has to be a software or setting issue. Any assist here would be great.
I'm constantly having an issue within Premiere Pro and After Effects when I take a clip & 'replace with After Effects composition' in Premiere Pro. The error gives me a, 'Importer Reported a Generic Error' on certain clips only, with the clip codecs being accepted with both Adobe Applications. Any solutions? VIDEO LINK TO SEE ISSUE Troubleshooting Steps:-Cleared all media cache files for Premiere Pro & After Effects (issue still persists)-Renamed clip files & changed clip locations (issue still persists)-Ejected all external hard drives (issue still persists)-Reinstalled Adobe Apps & CC Studio (issue still persists) Info:-Clip codecs are; Prores (.MOV) and .H264 (.MP4). Clips are not corrupted as this issue has happened to me numerous times randomly across 2023 and 2024 Adobe Versions.-Clips located on native Mac Studio hard drive Any suggestions would help, I've tried to get in touch with Adobe & their customer support failed to s
Hello,After importing a metronome beat to Premiere Pro along with the music track, the audio tracks are different BPM...It seems liket Copy/Paste of audio clips on the timeline doesn't work as expected for a Sequencer (yes, it's a sequencer).Any idea how to solve the BPM issue, so that both audio tracks play properly together?
Hi Team, is there any way to fix the issue where the import and export windows switch from English to Japanese?
When applying a mask to a rotated clip in a 9:16 sequence and copying it to an adjustment layer, the mask orientation does not match. It seems to ignore the clip’s rotation and reverts to the original coordinate space, causing misalignment. This breaks vertical video workflows and requires manual rework or nesting. Is there a workaround? Rune
Hola, tengo la ultima version de premier instalada, y por defecto tengo la carpeta Keyboard Shortcuts, cuando copio mi archivo .KYS luego el programa no me muestra esa configuracion importada, no se como solucionarlo, utilizo windows. gracias!
Dear Adobe Team,With every new Premiere Pro update, I see more and more tools that feel like they’re tailored for... let’s say, passionate smartphone bloggers who shoot with shaky hands and edit with TikTok speed. We now have AI voice filters, text-based cutting, auto-reframing, and a bunch of other flashy things that look cool in a demo video but rarely enter the workflow of an actual professional editor.Meanwhile, features that could seriously boost productivity for experienced users are still missing. So here’s a modest list of tools that would actually help:Built-in video denoiser that doesn’t require dynamic link to After Effects or 3rd-party plugins.AI-based video upscaling for improving resolution and preserving details when working with mixed footage.Beat detection and auto marker placement for rhythmic editing — because yes, some of us still cut to the beat.Proper LUT export support — no weird banding, no hacks, no guesswork.Node-based color grading or at least a layered grading
I am trying to create captions for my video from the Transcript area, but the option to create captions is greyed out. I have been Googling and reading discussion posts, but have not come across anyone with the same problem. Please help! What am I doing wrong?
I create a new project, and after a few edits, the audio starts playing chopily and distorted. The project is composed of one mp4 audio track and 1 png image. While adding text to the frames and replaying to sync the text with the audio the audio starts play chopily and distorted. There is no constant to refer to on the cause as it is random regarding the number of edits I make. The mp4 files I have this issue with have been 4 to 5 minutes long and the images are 11 to 12 mb png files created by Adobe Photoshop. This happens on all the projects I have made and I have to restart Premiere to clear the error.
Version 24.4.1Trying to import a sequence of images with names in ascending order into Sequence.Project Import > Mark first image > Mark Import to Sequence checkbox.Only one image is shown in the project. Right click, no option to change FPS.2 Screenshots attached. How do I solve this?is it a bug?
I am working as an Assistant Editor on a feature documentary. My editor is in another state with a RAID drive and I have a mirrored RAID at my work station. We are connected via a computer-to-computer sync server, Resilio. We are editing in an Adobe Productions set up and it seems like when I generated transcriptions in the project, they occasionally disappear when my editor tries to view them. However, they appear on my end just fine. We are both working in Premiere Pro (v) 24.6.1 It doesn't seem to have anything to do with our Workspace settings either. I think it may have something to do with me having created the transcriptions originally and there being a lag in the compatability between the project and server, which is syncing constantly, but I am wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue and if so, were you able to remedy it?
Hey, While copying project to new location throgh project manager menu, I am getting below error (see attached screenshot) at the end. And after cliking on ok all the copied files gets delete in the location. Could anyone suggets what is the issue and how to resolve it. Thanks!
This is hard to explain, but i accidentily hit a wrong key and the top half of the clip is the right color (magenta) and the bottom half is whateveer the default color for that media type is (Green).I'll uplaod a pic. (ignore the video track becasue it's not effecting the video tracks fro some reason) So i want this audio to be all magenta, but the default setting for audio is green, so the top half is magenta and the bottom is green! WHY?!! i can't figure out what i did ! ( ive been using premire for 22 yrs and this program still fricks with me!!)
Hi everyone!I'm asisting in a documentary with lots of interviews which I synced/subcliped using the multicam feature but what we (the 2 editors and me) realized after a while is that some multicams don't reproduce sound when played on the source monitor. If we dragged them to any timeline or if we open them in timeline (like, opening a subclip in avid) we can hear everything perfectly. It's just that we can't hear them in the source monitor, which is a problem when you want to match frame and hear the rest of the interview, for example. 2 more things that may come in handy to solve the issue: 1- I tried duplicating one of the functioning multicams and replace its content with the clips (video and audio) from the wrong multicams. Loading this new multicam in the source monitor does work... But I can't automatically relink the clips from the edited timelines to these new "corrected" multicams. If you know a way to, I'll be glad to hear so! 2- When I load the wrong mul
