I'm hoping someone can help as Im a newbie on Premiere pro.........Ive been editing on a project for a while - everything has been fine up to now. The razor tool doesn't seem to cut where I want it, despite the snap feature being activated? Everytime I set the razer tool where I want it, it cuts randomy a couple of frames either way. Sometimes it will suddenly work - then it does it as above? IHave a pressed something in error to cause ity to do this? here is a picture example attached

Issue - "audio enhance" create glitched audio where sections of a same audio clip got mixed together for a short period specifically in the begining of a sentence randomly(sometimes it doesn't glitch)Steps to reproduce - I recorded a voice over and cut it into a coherent audio track, with gaps between some clips for pacing adjustment, then I nested the whole track as one "audio clip", then I "render and replace" said clip(sometime I don't render it), then I use the "Enchance" feature, after that I might render and replace it again in order to be able to cut it for further adjustments without the programme re-"enhance" the clips automatically.Expected result - Audio should be clean without repeated audio appear in some part of the clipActual result -  Glitch audio appear in some part of the clip.Adobe Premiere Pro version - 25.2.0Operating system - Mac OSFormat - audio waveform I have a 2020 Intel iMac and a M4 pro macbookpro, this

does anyone know how to share files fluidly with team projects? My podcast editor and I are trying to use team project to share and edit our show. However, neither of us can access files the other has shared. We have downloaded Google Drive desktop but are still not seeing how to access to files.  Example: I started the project but he doesnt see the project edits ive done... and it says that the file ive added can't be located or he gets "file not supported" error

I have all latest updates and paid subscription to Creative Cloud. Today I had the weirdes error that threatned commercail brodcast. For years I am repeating the same routine in preparing videos for TV broadcast, sometimes slight glitches, but nothing big. But today it was some evil spirits interfering or something with bugs maybe) Basically In project timeline whenever I import footage, it addes 3 stop frames in 3 spots. I clicked every frame and found where it made thise stop frames, just like a dublicate of a frame before or after. One frame is repeated in 3 places, quite randomly it seems. I tried to convert footage to different format, checked sequence timeframe setup and what not, regardless of any tweaks or changes, it continued to add stose stop srames exactly in those 3 locations. TV channel technicians see it and do not accept file for broadcast. Really freaked me out. Eventually I just reassembled project in after effects and rendered it fine without stop frames. I trie

On Windows, OBS is a very popular and free screen recording software that I use. It has several options for formats, but for multi-channel audio formats, only MP4 and MKV will work. They recommend using MKV files since it will still save the file to the drive even if the OBS program crashes, while with MP4 files, it will not save to the drive if it crashes, so you'll lose the screen capture.That being said, I have several dozens projects created with MKV files and up until version 13.1.2 everything was fine besides a few bugs that Premiere always has. In the latest update, 13.1.3, Adobe decided to remove support of MKV files in both Premiere Pro AND Media Encoder, so now all my old projects are useless and cannot be opened, AND I can't even convert the mkv files to another format since Media Encoder can't even import the files.Isn't the point of media encoder to encode media?So as a paying customer of Adobe, using their professional video editing software as a professional Video Editor

Hi. I'm currently editing a project on Premiere Pro and unfortunately two external hard drives were destroyed in the process. With the first external hard drive I assumed it was an issue with the hard drive itself. But since it happened a second time, I have to assume it is a problem caused by Premiere Pro.   I mostly edit on Avid and occassionally on DaVinci and never experienced anything like that.   Has anyone had similar experiences? I'm afraid to open Premiere Pro again and connect any drive to it. Which is a real problem because I'm using it for professional reasons. So now I not only paid for an app I can't use, I also have two damaged external hard drives, plus I have to cancel the job which will probably result in never getting hired again by this particular company.   Honestly - WHAT  [abuse removed by moderator]?  

Hello, so I am new to premier and am making a music video and would like to use markers to make my cuts, however, I would like them to be exact, not just almost exact. The method I'm using rn is to make the markers in real time by playing back the audio and pressing m at the points where the beat is hitting. So now I have a bunch of markers that are pretty close to the beat of the song but not exact. Is there a way to quantize the markers to eighth notes to the bpm I have the song at. If anyone knows how to do this that would be awesome. Also if there is a better way to make cuts/add markers that are exact, please lmk. Thanks.-John Zdon (Zdon The Rapper)

On the Atomos Ninja V recorder you can select Legal range or turn it off and get full range signal. the question is can PR read full Range signal when inporting footage? Full Range on wave form would be 0 to 1095 = in 10bit Legal range would be 64 to 1000 = in 10bit ( broadcast safe. I herd from youtube channels that its best to keep video footage in Legal range becuse PR only reads video footage as broadcast safe or legal range. is this correct? Please Help! 

Why did I get this?

I don't know what's going on, but somehow I can't even start Premiere. The process appears in the Task Manager but doesn't do anything. When I reinstall and run it for the first time, it starts but then stops responding and crashes. I have already been looking for solutions but with no success so far. I tried using different versions, but the same issue persists. All the other Adobe programs are working and initiating fine; it's only Premiere that's not working.

I recently finally updated my premiere to the latest version after a long time, the version I was using before was Premiere 2023, When I opened the project I was working on in this version the audio now sounds HORRIBLE, its echoey and the gain sounds horrible. I pulled up other projects and they sound Okay and its just this project, I really dont want to lose my progress so is there anything I can do to fix it? I have the original project for premiere 2023 saved as a back up and I have no clue what to do. I was working on the project an hour before updating and it sounded completely fine, all I did was install premiere 2025 and load the file in the new premiere

Exporting a timeline reports that some media is offline, yet it is visable, playable and renderable within Premiere. This happens in the export tab and in Media Encoder.I have deleted the cache files.  Once deleted I created new cache folders on a different drive.I have deleted everything inside "C:/windows/users/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Common"I have created a brand new project and imported everything from the project that doesn't work.I have moved all the media files to a different folder on a different drive and relinked all the media.  Once again it's all there in Premiere but it won't export.I still cannot export my sequence!Moving the project to After Effects is not an option, as there are still some Premiere timeline effects that do not transfer - Frame Hold being one of them.<RANT>How can my business rely on Adobe software these days?  Every single piece of Adobe software has its bugs and foibles and they're getting worse than ever.  CS3 in

I am developing an extension for Adobe Premiere Pro, but I am struggling to get started as I am unable to properly understand the docs on CEP and the Premiere Pro API. I am finding it difficult to understand how to integrate these technologies properly, and I haven't come across any comprehensive resources that clearly explain the process. Previously, I experimented with UXP, but I encountered limitations due to certain unsupported APIs and features. Now, I am unsure whether I should continue with CEP and try to work through its complexities or move back to UXP, hoping for better long-term support. I am looking for: i)Clear learning resources or tutorials for CEP and the Premiere Pro API. ii)Guidance on how to properly integrate CEP with Premiere Pro. iii)Insights into whether CEP is still the best approach or if UXP has improved enough to be a viable alternative. If anyone has experience with this or can recommend useful resources, I would really appreciate your insights!

premiere pro 2024でSSDに書き出しをし、動画を再生するとSSDに入っていた動画ファイルが消えてしまいます。デスクトップに書き出して再生すると消えないし、その動画をSSDに入れても消えません。SSDの問題かと思い、新しいSSDを買いましたが同じことが起きました。カメラで撮った動画を再生するのは消えません。プレミアで書き出したものだけが消えるみたいです。ファイルに動画があるときとないときでSSDの容量を調べましたが動画が消えるとその動画分容量が減っていました。 同じことが起きたことがある方いますでしょうか。 

Hi friends,I'm trying to edit a video with the resolution 1080 x 1920, eveything was smooth in the "Review" panel a few hours ago, but when I exported the video, I found two glitching parts who were not shown previously on the Review Panel. I went online and tried A LOT of "Fix and tricks" but here we are. After a lot of attempts, I know see the glitch parts in the review panel as well.I've changed a lot of things but I really need your help and knowledge to resolve this. I am new to text based editing and so far, it sounds very promising.Usually I have to simultaneously work on the edit while I am writing the Text for the Narrator, so it fits to the edited bits. Can I achieve all of this in the Transcript-Window?I am only able to edit the transcribed voice bits OR convert everything to a static text.Is there any way to keep text based editing active and just add my own text for the narrator inbetween?This should be very simple.. its just a text. Am I asking too much?How is your workflow to get to the final film script?

Unfortunately, I think I discovered that when you apply markers, then drag-move the clip left or right on the timeline, the markers don't move with it. I'd like the markers to stay where I applied them.1) Is this correct?2) How do I prevent this from happening?

Hi all,I have been searching for export settings from HD Video in Premere Pro 2021 to DVD. Most of the existing posts are old as I do not have CS6. I was looking for the best settings to enter in the export window. The video is under around 90 minutes. I have clients who still request this format unfortunately.Should I use MPEG2 DVD, what are the settings for bitrate, etc?Ive had problems where either the file was a little too big and caused freeze ups or the video quaility was terrible.

When i shift my audio on the timeline, it either restarts the song which i had cut off, or doesn't play the audio at all.Verision .2Windows.Cut audio, than playback to listen, playback issues.Would like it fixed, every since the A.I expanding had been added, completely bugged the system.

Hello! I'm editing a video and after updating to the latest version of Premiere 2025, right-clicking to bring up the Ripple Delete option glitches out. The negative space in the timeline is selected for a moment, but it de-selects itself before I can actually click the "ripple delete" function. clicking this function after the negative space is deselected does nothing.

I am on Premiere 2023 and Mac M1 Ventura.  Premiere has been very finicky this week with the default export location. I know Premiere Pro exports default to whatever directory you exported to last. That has usually always worked for me.  However, I must select the export location every time I export. I created presets, and that does work; only a few times did it not, and I had to restart.  I am working on an external hard drive, and the folders I used to export still exist. Any tips or suggestions to get the default export location working again? 

Hi there,Just getting started (as a beginner) and watched the first video ["Create a Project"] on the "Create a project and import a clip" tutorial: Adobe Learn It's not clear to me if there are functionality rules that require me to save the project on my local drive or if it is okay for me to save them on my NAS and work from there. Additionally, is there a requirement for imported media files to be originally located on my local drive, or can those also come directly from my NAS? I ask because these were limitations with the software I was previously using.Thanks in advance!Oksana

I have a four minute sequence that happens to be a Adobe After Effect Segment (dynamic link) on my time line. If I hit "Render In To Out" it takes roughly 90 minutes to render that AE created segment. If I hit "Render and Replace," on the AE segment, let it complete, and then hit "Render In To Out" it'll take a total of about 12 minutes. Madness!  Madness I say!  Anyone know what's going on here?  

So "shift+M" takes me to the BEGINNING of the next marker (comment marker), but I've seen video tutorials where repeatedly using "Shift+M" can be used to go beginning-end-beginning-end etc.... of the timeline markers. My question is how?I can't find any command in the "Keyboard shortcuts" preferences that says "goto end of marker". This seems as a default in some Premiere Pro setups, but my shortcuts always go to the markers beginning and ignores the end. Would be nice to figure out how. Thanks
