I opened a project that I started in 2018 and it has been through all the upgrades of PP. But today all the captions/subtitles was gone. Yhere wasnt even a track for the captions. I opened a new one but I couldnt fina any text or trace of it. Would appreciate any kind of help. kind regards Janne

We use MOGRT with many items, where many elements can be placed and can be configured, multiple videos. There are some problems with navigation within Essential Graphics Window: 1. We would like to be able to jump from setting to setting, or from text box to text box. If we press now tab-key, the curser jumps all over the place - not in the given order. 2. When we scoll over the menu, sometimes values gets changed, because of the mouse contact with some sliders, during the scrolling. Of course, we get used to place the mouse to the edge of the window, so it does not change stuff by scrolling. We would suggest, only activated rulers should change by scroll mouse - or there should be a short wait time, when the window is scrolling, there is no change possible for, lets say 1/2 second.

I've been struggling with the crop effect to recreate typewruitter effect. My issue is: The crop effect applies to the full frame of the video, not just to the text frame. When applying the crop effect i aplpy it to the text frame directly. In the effects control panel i have "vector motion" and "text". Vector motion is the full video frame, text is just the text frame but when i add crop effect it cannot be dragged under the "text" it adds as a 3d seperate "layer" that when wplaced above text creates the crop effect, but it applies to the full frame and not just text. It looks like it applies to the vector motion not text.This's an issue because let's say i want to have a small text on the right side of the video frame, and for text to appear from left to right. With how it works right now there're timing dellayes and it's difficult to know when the sctual text is going to appear. Because the crop effect startes from the left side of the full frame not text farme.I'm quite new to prem

Hello all,I am editing a multicam sequence and the subject starts to drift to the right side halfway through the shot (it's a single). I'd like to simply readjust the framing so that she is centered again, but the edge of the frame is black. In Final Cut Pro, it is as easy as double clicking the Multicam track and editing the shot. In Premiere, I am totally lost as you can not "decompose" the two angles and edit seperatly

Premiere changes the color of my video when exporting on its own. The right is the original, the left is premiere's render. The only answer I can find to this is that the Retina display on mac shows the render differently or something, but this is not the issue. It looks compeltely garbage everywhere else as well

If I scrub through my timeline and set the playback resolution in the program monitor to full, it works fine. If I set the playback resolution to anything other than full, such as 1/2 or 1/4, the playback lags and freezes.In playback, it is the opposite: lagging at full and smooth at 1/2 or 1/4, so I always have to change the playback resolution to full when scrubbing and to 1/4 when playing.Scrub fine at full and lag at 1/4. How is this possible? Is this a bug? Footage:From a DJI Avata drone, exported from Gyroflow and pasted into a timeline with the same specs as the footage. Is it possible to export video in color range 0-255 in HEVC or 264? How to do it?

When attempting to export markers from Premiere Pro I am getting useless results.  I have sequences with extensive markers applied to clips, with information in the name and sometimes description fields.  They show up in the marker window.  When I attempt to export markers from a sequence I get a CSV or text file with only one entry.   When I attempt to export markers from a source clip I get a list with no text information at all. When will premiere stop being a joke? please fix this. also it'd be great to be able to see the list of clip markers on the clip in a project bin (like you can in AVID).  being able to search across all markers would be good too. (like you can in AVID) oh well.    

Hello, I have a couple questions related to a react app plugin in a ppro uxp panel.  1. I have my react app working just fine, with version react 16, is there any plans/timeline to allow newer react versions, perhaps 18?  2. I'm developing this app for a company that wants to integrate outside resources into a ppro panel, this seems to be working fine early on, but I'm developing the UXP implementation on ppro beta.  I was wondering if there is a timeline for a stable ppro to have these uxp features?  My understanding was that uxp is not fully released yet for the current stable, is that correct?  3. I'm using npm with this uxp react panel, and it seems to come with "acord-with-stage3" pre-installed, this is in my package.json (tho does not seem to be included in my dependencies):   "resolutions": {     "acorn": "npm:acorn-with-stage3"   }but it seems to be causing me some issues when installing other packages, it gives me this er

So, I've been having this issue ever since I started using Premiere Pro back in 2020, but I just crossed my mind now.  I'm working on a Premiere Pro project on my MacBook. I add pictures, shapes, sounds into the timeline and it shows on the Program Monitor (the visual area that mimics what's on the timeline. There are time instead of having to move or scale items on the Effects Control, I use my cursor to click, move, and shrink items on the program monitor. Then, I take a break and close the lid or put my MacBook to sleep. I come back in about 10 minutes, log back into my MacBook and now I cannot use my cursor to select anything on the program monitor; I have to use the Effects Control to move, scale, rotate, etc.  I did notice if I select an item on the Program Monitor before putting my computer to sleep, then wake it up again, this keeps the Premiere Pro to allow me to keep moving items. If not, I have to close Premiere Pro and open it again in order for me to mo

I am using the BlackMagic Ultrastudio Monitor 3g on a m2 max with 32 gigs ram. still playback of HD 25i (1080i) timelines is stuttering - even playback of prores proxies lags. In resolve it works perfectly fine. Does anyone have a solution?

This is a small annoyance but just seeing if anyone might have an answer for me.I have a workspace that I created and when I create a new project the project panel never comes in how I save the workspace. Below is how I have saved the workspace. And here is how it comes in when I create a new project. You can see the project panel is now on my second monitor stacked with the Lumetri color panel and effects controls.

while importing .srt files, sometimes only half the content showslike if i have a .srt with 5min of content only 2-3min of content appears in premiere pro CC 2018. please help !

    I usually work the project on my laptop at home, but these day I hope I'm able to work on my office computer when I have free time during workday.     So is there any way that I can save the project file in the creative cloud and then open the file up in another computer with creative cloud? And do I also need to backup all my video files I have used in the project?

So i'm having this issue, when i open a project and start editing suddenly my timeline doesn't respond when scrubbing or select a file and in source monitor goes black or freezes, also if i put my cursor on the file in the bin it says media pending. It take at least 5-10seconds to respond again until it does it again after a while.I open task manager while edit to see what happens. Cpu/Ram seems fine, only the scratch disk that i have for my files shows unexpected disk usage 100% when this happens in premiere. I cannot import the video clips I have in my libraries into Premier Pro. I tried creating different folders and uploading a simple image, but it still doesn't work. When I drag them into my sequence, I get a no sign signal.

I see posts about multiple tracks but nobody seems to have the question about multiple clips. I can use the find tool in the timeline and select mutlipe clips at once based on the search term (name of clip) but then I can't see a way to just solo those audio clips for playback. For example, I may have multiple pieces of sound design by one source in a time line with hundres of clips from dozens of other sources...because we work quickly and spontaneously it's not always condusive to neatly arranging everything together in a 30 track session. Any thoughts or suggestions on this? I'll attach a screenshot of a typical session. You can use the clips in purple as an example. 

Hi, I have had this issue for a while.When I add cross fades to all my clips in a timeline the video renders out fine.  How ever when I add warp stabilizer to a clip also containg a cross fade, it creates a render error at the point in the video where the warp stabilizer is used.  If I go through the section frame by frame I notice the last frame of the crossfade is a black frame.  If I make the cross fade shorter by one frame after applying it, it removes the black frame and renders fine.  However this isnt practical in a video with multile warp stabilizers. Thanks in advance for any help. Windows 10PP Version 24.4.1
