I'm looking for more functionality from the Behringer X-Touch control surface and hope it is possible to bind inputs from the control surface encoder knobs at the top of the fader bank to x, y, and z values for a selected property in the effects control panel. It is easy enough to map a single encoder to change a selected value, but I'd like to, for example, press the EQ button under Encoder Assign (red box, upper right), which will pre-select the first property in the Premiere Pro Effects Panel, unless a property is already selected; also, set the first three encoders on the X-Touch (8 encoders, yellow box) are bound to the x, (y, and z if there) values, and the fourth encoder is set up to navigate up and down the effects panel, choosing properties with x,y,z numeric values or a selection list. For fields with a selection list, if the x value encoder doesn't work, then the fifth encoder could be employed, leaving 6, 7 and 8 for future use. If other Encoder A
Hi, this is my first time posting here but at my limit. This problem has been happening the last 2 weeks and I can't figure out how to fix it. So I start a new project and import my footage then drag it into the sequence. I tend not to render my footage until I'm completely done editing, and instead, I watch the raw footage. The audio mutes while watching after 20 seconds, and a few seconds later the footage freezes. Mind you the timestamp counter is still going and after 2 minutes the footage may continue but it'll be choppy at best. I've tried deleting my media cache, upgrading my drives, and even had an Adobe help center person try to solve the issue. Unfortunately, nothing has stuck and it's making editing impossible. Has anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it?
Okay me again with a weird annoying issue.Pretty simple yet i dont even know how to search an answer for this.So in my timeline i have input and outpoint points, so lets say the part i want to export is 30 sec long and when i want to export.. premiere pro does not sync with my current points value, he just only allow me to render first 16 sec of the timeline. I can manuelly change this issue in export page but it's annoying to set all frames correctly one by one. IDK what happened this is my first time i'm having this issue in 6 years 😕😕Did i change a settings some how?
How do I remove background music from a video with dialogue? I just want the video with the dialogue without the music playing. Is there a way to separate the audio track so it shows music and dialogue separately?
Hello folksI am trying to send my client raw footage with BITC, but the problem is Media Encoder does not show the source clip TC using the built in TC filter... "media file" simply shows timeline running time... which is of no use to me... I need the source timecode. If I use the obsolete TC effect in Premiere, it does not support 100fps, only up to 60fps... so that does not work either. Surely the Program Monitor Overlays should be able to remain when encoding? I cannot see how to do that.Help please someone! Thanks, Mark.
Question - I do video editing work for my job. On my old computer, I was able to export with the usual settings in Premiere just fine - h.264, 29.97, full HD, etc. However, my company recently got me a new computer (with NVIDIA and Ultra 7 to help with all the video editing I'm doing), but for whatever reason, my exports are now messing up with the same exact settings. The videos I do are a mix of regular footage and timelapse footage, all filmed with a Go-Pro. The timelapse footage looks great when editing in Premiere, as well as in the preview section of the export screen. However, no matter what I do, when I export the file and then go to play it on my machine, the time lapse footage freezes and only plays a couple of frames. The background music and graphics continue to play as normal, it's just the timelapse footage that doesn't play correctly. I imported this file back into Premiere and confirmed it was the file, not the video player. I have tried mess
I updated my Premiere Pro to 2025 version but the Generative Extend do not show in the toolbar. I tried to set a shortcut to see if it would work but the tool didn't work as well. Someone know how to fix it?
Premeire hates me. I know it. I have this scene where I need to mask out a laptop. Easy enough - I have the footage without the laptop on the layer above and I created a mask. After rendering it - the mask flickers like crazy, on and off, on and off. I've tried video footage as the mask, as well as a still photo and I have similar issues. Can someone please help before I throw this computer out my office window? Thanks in advance!
Been playing with Productions in the new version: just a couple of questions...As an example, let's say I have a Production with a MEDIA Project and a SEQUENCES Project. In my SEQEUNCES Project, I have a timeline, referencing clips from the MEDIA Project. 1) Is there a way to reverse match frame from the MEDIA Project, to the timeline in the SEQUENCES Project? I haven't been able to get that to work. 2) Is there a way to see the clips used in the Timeline in the SEQUENCES Project in the browser of the MEDIA Project? Clip usage seems to only reveal which clips are being used in their respective projects. For example, multiple cameras in the MEDIA Project browser will show they are being used in a multicam sequence of that same MEDIA Project, but not in the Timeline they are edited in of the SEQUENCES Project. Is there a setting I'm missing?
I'm curious if there is any update on the current bug that affects .MTS files having out of sync audio. I've called customer support multiple times to no avail. I've reformatted my projects to use an older version of premiere that doesn't have the bug, but I'm no longer able to use my previous after effects compositions with the dynamic link. I have multiple long-term projets that I've been editing for over a year, with thousands of .MTS files, and hundreds of dynamic link compositions, so I'm not able to use some kind of exterior workaround like handbrake. I'm basically at a standstill on some major projects because of this bug, and considering trying another editing software all together, as one of the primary formats I work with, and will continue to work with, is .MTS. Quite frustrating to be paying $800 a year for a software that has completely just flopped on a project I've been working on for over a year due to a bug that wasn't there in the past and makes absolutely no sense to
Since the Work Area is turned off by default, and being lazy enough to not turn it back on, I've been using the In-Out keyboard shortcuts to mark areas for export. I rather like that better than the work area. But one thing the work area had going for it, is you could right click the selection and it would tell you the duration of the selection. I'd like to be able to right click the in-out selection in the timeline scale and have the duration of the selection pop up. Or a shift+click or alt+click to show duration. Or am I missing something? Thanks.
Hi, I licenced a template for Premiere Pro, and when I try to intall it Premiere tells me it's already installed. But it's not showing up in my Graphics Templates window, and in the library it is saying it's not supported in Premiere. Thanks Mod note: Title changed slightly for search purposes. ".mogrt" not "mogart."
I recently downloaded premier and grabbed a template I want to use for a project, I can edit the text, but what I haven't been able to figure out is how to change the pictures in the template. When I go to edit media there isn't an option to replace it.
Im viewing a video clip in the source panel and it seems to have a separate set of markers for the audio I'd rather just remove these altogether and just have one set of markers for video + audio like with the other clips in my file. How do I do this?
What could cause digital footage that was shot horizontially to appear in Adobe Premier Pro as a vertical image file? And what can I do to correct this clip's orientation? I've tried rotating it under Effect Controls. Thanks
Sorry, this is probably a simple problem but I can't figure out how to drag my audio file from the source window into the sequence. I really want to be able to quickly cut the audio in the source window with in and out points but am struggling. It's easy to do it with an mp4 because I can just grab. When I try to grab the audio in the source window it scrubs through the audio. Thank you to anyone who helps.
Tengo un problema a la hora de animar la escala en una imagen. Establezco los fotogramas clave, pero a la hora de animar no me hace la progresion de menor a mayor o al revés. Gracais de antemano.
Olá!Alguém poderia me ajudar a localizar o botão Proxy no Premier (2023)? Ele não está no painel de botões da time line que, aliás, contém apenas 5 ícones básicos.
Hello... I currently make 10 second glitch animations. I work firstly in Procreate using animation assist and then export to Davinci on my ipad.I have recently been offered a chance to show a larger projection but want to ensure that my workflow will be good enough as far as quality goes. 4437 px x 1200 pxFrame rate 25 30 50 0r 60. My question is: would I be best making these animations in Photoshop instead of Procreate and then export to Premier on my Macbook instead of Davinci on my Ipad? thank you.
I have attached a video. This has been something that I've always done so I'm used to it working. The only thing I'm doing differently is having pulled 2 different sequences in 1 sequence and I'm trying to crossfade the audio between the 2. But it's not working 😞
I've created a variety of MOGRT templates inside AE for GFX overlays for different formats that include images (title treatments) that are to be changed inside Premiere.I've set the images (title treatments) to scale from specific corners to keep within safe zones for different formats, so I've used expressions on the anchor points in AE to adapt to whatever the image is. I then scale them to fit (as needed) and can move a bit using position attributes on a null layer.Everything works in AE and I've no issues, but once it's a MOGRT inside Premiere it's no longer working as expected. The 'default' image on the MOGRT is fine and scales from the corners as in AE, but as soon as I replace the image (png files), the anchor point information is messed up.Default image works as is or when making changes:. Default scale . Default attributes (base attributes greyed out) . Default image scales okay from corner as expected. . Default image with sc
When I open any of my projects in Premiere Pro (Version 25.1) the Lumetri color edits I have applied completely reset. When I go into the Effects Control panel of a clip, I see that Lumetri color is applied, but the lumetri color panel is set back to default. In the Settings of the Lumetri Panel I select the Override Media Color Space and set it for Canon Log3/Cinema Gamut, as that is what the RAW footage I am using is shot on, then I go into the Lumetri Color edit tab and do the tweaking. I have been doing it this way for a long time, but like I said lately when I open a project, all of the color work I did inside of the Lumetri panel is gone and I have to re-do it every time.
I am looking for a tool to help speed up my video editing process in Premiere. We produce instructional videos with a top-down camera demonstrating an artistic skill. The instructor often speaks slowly while she's performing the skill, or there are unnaturally long pauses between words. I've been unlinking the audio from the video, and manually cutting the audio track to tighten up the audio and remove silences. Then I'll determine if I can cut out any of the video track, or speed up the video track to match the remaining length of the audio after silences have been cut. I looked into the Firecut plugin and it seems like the "Remove Silences" tool has potential, but it's unclear if it can accomplish exactly what I need. I need to be able to edit the audio and video tracks separately and have full control over the video. The end user needs to be able to follow along and understand the video demonstration without it being chopped up. I often make 100 cuts
I just started a free trial of Premiere Pro 2025 to try and open my old, unfinished projects. But if I try to open them, the app says to convert the files form the old version to the new. Problem is, when I do this the audio is muted/doesn't work, even when I relocate the file (on some of the files).I also can't access anything on my desktop which is incredibly frustrating! And I can't download the 2019 verion of PP, to work with or look at my old projects without the serialnumber, which I apperntly ALSO can't access on my profile, because it's more than 3 years ago. So far, I'm not really being convinced to actually start a subscription again..
I'm cutting a feature and have a co-editor in another city. I realize Productions does not recommend using Dropbox to share a Production with another editor, but I was surprised by the ways in which it's managed to make editing hell. While all my media needs to stay local, I'm hoping moving my Production from Dropbox to LucidLink will cut down on the strange anomalies that keep happening (footage in Projects unlinking for no clear reason - projects no one is opening much less altering; my co-editor unable to view half of the projects in the Production for no clear reason, amongst many others). At the end of the day, even if my co-editor is not logged in, footage is always being unlinked in strange way. Haven't been able to find any best practices for moving a Production to a new location. Is it as simple as moving the Production folder to the new location? Will everything automatically link up if I open it there, if the source media has not moved? I don't want to
