Hi everyone,I have version 23.5.0 build 56.Windows 11Prior to this version, Premiere would remember my working preferences for each bin.I have 4 bins with icon view, sort by label, and 2 bins with list view.Now, everything reverts to list view each time I close and re-open a file.Extremely annoying and time wasting, especially when I'm working from self-made PP templates all the time.Any ideas please?Also, this version automagically appends _1 to every file name in the Export panel.Previously this only happened if it detected an identical file name.

I have a bespoke-coded, basic extension for PP, which will help my workflow on long-form edits. However, I am having considerable difficulty in loading it into the app. I have conflicting suggestions as to where it should go and I am having no luck with ZXP Installer when I zip it to that format.   Can someone please tell me definitively where I should save the folder for it to load as an extension in PP?   I am using PP 25.1.0 (build 73) on Mac OS 15.3 on a MBP M4 Max with 128GB RAM and 4TB internal storage.   Thanks for any help!!!   Dominic

Hello all,   When applying effects to my linked footage, nothing happens. I have MP4 proxies stacked on top of matching DPX footage (my usual workflow), but this time effects are not affecting the clips. I see the effects in the effects control window as applied, I cleared my media cache, I am on the most recent Premier, I restarted everything, still no luck.    Please help!

I am finishing a documentary mostly shot on sony xavcHS 422 10 bit uhd in the adobe color managed workflow using slog2.gamut3.cine. It has been edited with proxies, now I need to render and replace all source clips in my timeline in ProresHQ to be able to grade smoothly. But when i hit render and replace using source clips and NOT bake in effects it converts slog3 to rec709 (my timeline setting). As my clips have been shot on different cameras: How can I prevent ALL my clips to change colour space and destroy my colour information so I can grade?

Whenever i want to transcribe something it just doesnt do anything not any error, not any screen nothing at all, just blank. I have connected with adobe support countless time but they couldnt help me too  further more their remote control app doesnt work on Mac's new version too I am very disappointed, literally had to learn davinci and switch to it even though I was more comfortable with premiere.   My Specs: Mac Mini M4 base Platform - Mac 15.2 Text>Transcribe> Nothing happens after that expected - Transcribe text Result - no error, nothing at all 

Hello everyone,First I would like to mention that I did searched for an answer to my issue on the forum but only found a thread by Rowby Goren from Jan 4, 2010, who asked a similar pixel resize question regarding to still images in CS4. He was answered to use Photoshop for this kind of task. My issue on the other hand is for handling a video that can only be edited in Premiere. I'm using CS6. My issue is as follows:I work a lot with pixel art animation in 320x240 resolution. Usually I'm making a 320x240 scene of background and characters and the final result should be a doubled sized. So each pixel is actually 2 times larger. Just like old adventure games from the good old days that most of us remember. It works great with old style games creation engines however when I want to make a video with my pixel art creation in Premiere, I couldn't achieve an exact and clean doubled pixel when resizing the source by 200%. It always gets blurry. Does anyone knows if Premiere has any switch off

Hi,Since I update to Adobe premiere 2025 the software lag more and more.Specifically with the lumitri color... Hi all,I've mainly worked in Avid, but have used Premiere Pro a bit. I'm working on a personal project in PP at the moment. One of my most used features in Avid is marking a segment of a clip, or a portion of a sequence, with in and out points, hitting alt+c to load that to the source monitor, and then inserting that into a different sequence. Does anyone know if there's something similar availabe in PP? (I'd rather not have to insert edit points each time I want to do this). Thanks!

Hi all - I am having an issue with timecode on imported clips in Premiere Pro CC2019 (13.1.4 Build 2) on Mac. Specifically - it is NOT importing the timecode on clips from my JVC HM620. The clips are MPEG .mts files, 1920x1080 29.97. Curiously, Premiere Pro CC2017 (11.0.1 (222) Build) on Windows doesn't have any problem with the timecode - it imports the clips and timecode just fine!  Any ideas/suggestions why timecode is not coming in with the clips? I have a two-screen layout, with my program+source monitors in breakout panels on my secondary monitor. *sometimes* when I hit ctrl-m to export, my panels on my secondary monitors will close. I have to go to window-reset saved layout to bring them back. This does not happen everytime, and I've yet to determine if theres a specific order of operations that causes it - but it has happened with consistency since the export panel was introduced (premiere 2023 i think?) Windows 10Premiere 2025, going back to when export panel was introduced

I recently downloaded Premiere a few days ago, and am trying to import footage from my camera to edit. The footage plays properly in windows media player, but in Premiere the footage plays double speed, and is very choppy. The audio is the correct speed, but the video plays too fast. I have tried interpreting footage, but it slows the video down and still is laggy during playback, and won't play the proper frames. I have tried disabling the audio input, the footage is still very choppy. I have tried creating a sequence at different frame settings, and it still plays too fast.i have tried converting the video from an MP4 file type to an MPG.I have tried basically every single method on every YouTube video I've found, but nothing is working at all. I cannot edit the video at all in this state.How do I fix this issue?

every time i close and reopen premiere pro everything is reset like i just reinstalled but i didn't. workspaces, preferences, keyboard shortcuts and... are all lost. this issue is happening on all 25 versions and even 24 and it should not happen... how do i fix this? 

This can be fixed by restarting Premiere Pro.However, it would be great if there were a temporary fix, as I don’t want to do this every time I start Premiere Pro. Also, it only happens in demanding projects. 

Hi all,When exporting a media file, I keep getting the following Event error telling me that Premiere is not able to publish to X because I am not logged in. As you can see, I do not have the option to publish to X selected, nor would I ever do so as that is not how I work with exported media (and my clients would be highly cheesed off if I uploaded their videos to social media instead of them doing so!)I am running Premiere Pro 2025, version 25.1.0 (build 73) on a Mac M2 Ultra Studio, running Sonoma 14.7.2Any ideas, anyone? 

The new versions have issues. In version 25.1, adding an adjustment layer causes more delay when making exposure corrections or performing any action. In the beta version, when working with multi-camera, the screen freezes when switching between cameras. To continue playing the file, you need to stop and then play it again.

Previous update of PR doesn't do this. Add an adjustment layer.Open Lumetri ColorAdd Creative Look (any look) It won't be added unless you re-click the adjustment layer and add the creative look.

Hello,This past week I have been trying to render videos in Premiere Pro and keep getting this errorThe video I'm trying to render is about 1 hour 30 minutes long but I have rendered longer videos (up to 4 hours) in the past without errors popping up. I rendered a short 2 minute video just to test things out and no error came up. I have already tried the following:Rebooting my laptopUninstalling/Reinstalling Premiere ProUsing an older version of Premiere Pro Creating a new project/sequenceNesting the sequenceChanging between hardware and software encodingChanging between VBR 1-2 pass and CBRClearing up space in my hard drive. Internal hard drive has over 150 GB of free space.Exporting to an external drive. I used 2 TB hard drive.So far none of these have worked. My laptop is a Lenovo Yoga C940 with 16GB of RAM. On the sequence timeline the video footage plays out just fine so I don't know what the problem is. Does anyone have a solution?

I just updated to Premiere 2025 and it appears I'm stuck with the tiny GUI font again; AdobeCleanFontSize has disappeared. How do I increase the font size now? I've looked through the preferences, but no joy. Thanks.

HiMy specs are as follows:ryzen 9 3900x32gb ddr4 ramnvidia 4070 The clips I am trying to edit are 1080p 60fps footage in the h.264 codec. I make sure to set playback to 1/4 quality to try to help my playback issues, but this seems to have very little effect.Despite these specs however, I am having an insane amount of playback lag. I will skip 2 or 3 minutes forward in a project and have to wait 30 seconds to a minute before premiere will start playing it.Other times I will try to pause premiere and the video will lock up but the audio will keep playing for about 20 seconds. One of the things about my clips is that they will have about 6 audio tracks and I believe these may be causing the issue, however I see no way to solve this short of just recording in 1 audio track, which is not possible with what I am trying to make. Do you guys have any reccomndations for what I could do? I have found guides online that suggest converting videos to prores, but my video cl
