When trying to set or add a key color in HSL secondary in Lumetri color in Premiere Pro, nothing happens. I click the eyedropper, then click the color on my image, and no key is set. I can click any color, anywhere, and no mask is created and the HSL sliders don't budge. It is only on rare and random occasions that I can manage to select a color. I have tried selecting a key color in both the Lumetri panel and the effects control panel. Some related posts have suggested this may have to do with having two monitors, however, I've experienced this on systems with both one and two monitors. The eyedropper works better in the RGB curves effect, but there are times when I have the same issue. Any idea why this isn't working? I've been setting my sliders manually, but would really love to use the color picker, which should not be so consistently dysfunctional!
I am working in a colour managed workflow in Premiere. I am using a Sony Fx3 and shooting in Slog3/Gamut3.Cine. I apply this colour space to my source clips so they get converted to Rec709 in the timeline. This works fine but as soon as I add a BCC effect like Licence Plate ML or DeNoise ML the highlights are totally blown out and you can see in the vectorscope that they are clipped at 80%. Why? Is there any solution?
I would like to overlay a csv file in premier. I am tracking movement patterns of a person swimming.
Ok, what's is going on?The colors are completly off AFTER, I send the video to Media Encoder.Do I have the wrong color managment on?any ideas?I have PremierPro 25.1 and Media Encoder 25.1.I have a MacGracias
I am editing an extremely simple 20 minute video: basically a vlog where one person is speaking to the camera. Unfortunately, about 18 minutes in, the transcript suddenly goes out of sync with the audio. It seems the the transcript is just missing six words (that is, six words are spoken that are not captured in the transcript) and from this point on, the transcript is off by about 2 seconds. After this point, text based editing is useless, since the words I delete in the transcript don't actually correspond to what's said in the video. Moreover, the re-transcribe sequence option is greyed out. How can I fix this?
Simple question. I want my videos on YouTube to look like they do in Premiere (color and gamma), the only way I've found I can achieve that is by doing this:Export from Premiere as ProRes HQ, with a color space of Rec 709 Gamma 2.4Bring the export into After Effects and put it in a timeline that matches it's specsChange the Working Color Space to sRGBExport as ProRes HQBring the sRGB ProRes file into Media Encdoer and export as a H.264Upload to Youtube I'd like to avoid round tripping through After Effects to change it's color space. Is this possible?
I'm working in 2024 on a project that is using Mogrts for lower thirds. This morning when I wake up to work, all of the lower thirds and the end cap are showing text patterns over parts of the graphics. If I attempt to "alt" replace them, they repeat the problem. However, if I were to take the same mogurts and just pull them from the browse tab, they will appear fine. I can do it for this video as there are only 5 or 6 instances of using it, but sometimes videos can be much more complicated with many other variations. I did not change machines, the internet it running fine, and I am on a mac. This is not the first time something like this involving mogrts has occured. Can someone explain why this happens, what I can do to fix it, and what I need to do to prevent it from happening?Thank you
Hello, Hoping someone can help me. I'm trying to caption my project in Premiere Pro 2025 (Windows 11), I've watched multiple 'how to' videos about the new Properties panel and tried some of the other work arounds in related conversations (like closing and opening PP while holding the shift key and removing preferences, closing and reopening the Properties panel) but not having much luck. I don't seem to be getting the same features I used to in Essential Graphics. I can do some things but can't change the size of the font, the depth of opacity for the background that sort of thing. When I click on the three dots with a caption (or all captions selected), I only get one option 'Add or edit captions'...if I click on that nothing happens. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Boy is this getting old, and boy is this a Premiere-only problem (or a me problem– I'm open to criticism!) Why am I getting no audio from my multicam clip? Here is the multicam – it has 11 channels of audio (all track mono), of which only 6 are usable/needed. I didn't delete any source media tracks, but took the advice I've gotten here and simply remapped the clips in Modify>Audio Channels. Here is what the map looks like. And yet when I drag the clip into a timeline there is zero audio. It's not just that your not seeing a waveform – there is no audio. Premiere, why oh why are you like this? Do you know how bad you have to be at something to make me wish for Avid? Every time I think I've finally got it sorted (and I've been doing this a long time), there's another curveball to be met with. If anyone who understands the deeply arcane way Premiere handles audio track assignments, I'd be deeply grateful for some insight.
When I add a crossfade to an audio transition, the volume on an unrelated track gets reset to zero when the timeline plays. PPro 25.0.1 (Build 73)MacBook Pro M1Sequoia 15.3
You can command C but then have to right click and then click paste. This is the thing that drove me over the edge to learn davinic. It's crazy to release something that is clearly in beta.
Hi all, just opened a 2024 project in latest version (25.1) and an adjustment layer (lumetri colour) is not working. Any thoughts please?
Hi There, I already use CMD + ` and CMD + \ but really want fullscreen playback (no UI or buttons) from the start of the timeline with one shortcut - plus all the usual playback shortcuts. Is this possible? Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated. Cheers, Ben
After updating my Premiere and Media Encoder, now when I send to Media Encoder to export, the captions disappear in Media Encoder. I have "Burn Captions" checked and everything and it still doesn't work.
Mod note: I changed your title. Please don't type in all caps.
I haven’t used PP for quite some time. Opening up, the 2025 version offered a range of new presets to try out. I clicked around to see what they did and then moved on to my project. Apparently, I’ve accidentally added an exaggerated brightness filter and now I have no clue how to switch it off again. Closing the project and shutting down the app doesn’t reset the app. Any idea what I’ve done, and more importantly, how to undo it?
Hi, I work in an small studio (we have like 5-8 users) we save or work in a network server than them is sync it with dropbox. What im trying to do is to get the "Scratch files" to always stay on the local computer, for all new projects. And not to go each time and change the option manually. Is this possible? thanks
I'm trying to figure out why I'm getting diagonal lines whenever I drop an entire multicam clip into my timeline. It's like Premiere thinks my mutlicam clip is longer than it is and that media has been deleted from it, but the media in the multicam clip is as long as it is and no more. Does Premiere do a default length for multicam clips or something? There is no frame rate mismatch between the clip and the timeline. I tried deleting the media cache files to no effect. Running Premiere 2025 on an M1 Max mac. Why does it think the multicam clip should be longer than it is? This is consistent across all my hundreds of clips.
Hola, me aparece este error al exportar: Componente: H264Selector: 9Código de error 39: Ya intenté de todo, solo sotfware, reinstalar premier, una versión más antigua, borrar cache, media encoder y nada.
Hi, I've spent the entire day trying to get Premiere Pro to open and function so I can work on my projects, but nothing seems to be working. The title screen shows up, then freezes, and when I check my Mac's Task Manager, it shows "Premiere Pro (Not Responding)." There's no indication of any background loading happening either. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the application several times, tried older versions, and still get the same result. I've also restarted and shut down my computer multiple times without success. My system is up to date, and I use Premiere Pro frequently for work, so I'm not sure what's going on. To my knowledge, there’s no error code being generated, or at least I’m not seeing one when it crashes. I’ve submitted several reports to Adobe but haven’t received any response. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
The new extension for Frame.io offers an upload function for the timeline. But when you want to use it, nothing happens. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is there something I need to adjust in the options?
Every time I use text-based editing to delete all pauses, it leaves pauses behind. I have a simple audio clip. Here it is in the Text panel after transcribing.Nice. It's identified some pauses. Let's delete those!Filter by pauses...Hit delete all...OK cool. My 11 second clip is now 6 seconds. But wait...are there still pauses there?Oh...still a 0.1 second pause.Click it and see it to see the pause in the timeline.Oh that sucks! For a long video that's a lot of manual clicking and deleting! What am I missing? Premiere Pro v25.1.0 (Build 73) on Mac OS 15.2

I was wondering if anyone had any specific experience of using latest iPhone 4KUHD 60fps footage on 50 fps timelinesI'm editing prpjects with 50fps timeline/sequences and unfortunately, Apple in their wisdom do not support 50fps as an option on iPhone 15 Pro ...or other devices as far as I know.As I'm doing travel videos I prefer to use higher frame rates particularly when motion is a factor.I'm not interested in using 24 fps or slower rates to give 'cinematic feel' unless I need it.I use 4K media sources from my mirrorless Panasonic camera and DJI Pocket 3 - all support 50fps of course. Dropping 60 fps footage from iPhone onto a Premiere Pro 50fps timeline works of course and I've used Optical Flow in Time interpolation to improve/smooth the transition. Its not bad, but not great. If you have even quite a slow panning shot - say, with trees in the background you can get slight flicker/minor strobe effect due to dropped frames.I think I read Apple do not rec
So I just updated to the latest version. This has been fixed but in the basic Lumetri panel. If I click and drag a slider, the effect doesn't show until I let go of the slider. So I'm not seeing any adjustments in real time. Anyone else having this problem? The Color wheels bug has been fixed, but now I have this
