hey guys i ran in to a huge problem. It's been ongoing for like three days. I use premier pro to edit vlogs and like to spice them up with after effect compositions. now the problem that i have is crashing and not responding. my work is as fast as lightning an everything is fine untill the clock hits 17 P.M, +/-. after 17 P.M. premier pro stops responding and all of the adobe apps stop working. Many restarts and many crashes later the problem is still the same. and what is interesting is that the same problems ocurr at about the same time fot those three days. any help? My ps specs: I5 13600k, msi rtx4070, 32 gb of  3200mhz ram. there is about 1 tb for cache and all of the divers are up to date. the system is running on a freshly reinsataled windows 11.  I have a huge school project due and all of my work froze

I'm working with Macbook Pro and using Premiere Pro 2025. For the past month, the playback has been very choppy even when using (1/4) resolution. The footage I'm using is 4K, but I have enough RAM and have 350 GB avaialble on my hard drive. I cleared all my media cache as well. Since I bought this GPU I have performance problem with editing programs especially via Adobe Premiere Pro. Program gets slower on timeline, double screen useless, always makes flicker, if I want to drag something everthing responds very late, slow etc. Unfortunatelly I will sell this GPU or I will change Premiere  because I am waiting and waiting for an update but I ınderstand that there is no hope. I wrote in this page few months ago too. I cant understand is the screen shaking or camera shaking. so I have take  small exports for checking:(. In timeline everthing gets slow,responds very late.  I tought this GPU will be better than my 9 years old 1050Ti but its not. I have an audio track on track 1. I have a video & audio track on 2. I keep trying to sync track to to track 1, but track 1 is the track that keeps getting moved in the synchronization. I have selected both track 1 and track 2 in. the Audio drop-down menu, but it keeps moving track 1 no matter what I select. Track 1 needs to stay put, and the clips I bring in to V2 & A2 are the ones that need to move. Suggestions?  

I've been working on a project for a while and have everything uploaded and sorted to a Google Drive account. I've noticed that Premiere Pro seems to be running significantly slower than what I've been used to. I don't know if this is because of Google Drive as my files are not on my M.2 and I feel like it would run significantly faster if I were to just have my files on my own drive. Here are my PC specs:- RTX 3090- Ryzen 5 5800x- 32GB DDR4 3600Mhz- Samsung 980 Pro 2TB Thank you for any help

I'm working on a 40+ minute video project on the latest version (15.2) When all of the footage I cut up from Video Track 1/Audio track 1-3 were completely wiped.They're gone in all of my auto saves aswell, it happened to me yesterday but luckily I had rendered a previewto my client. All of the files are in the same place, and don't appear to be missing or corrupted. It's prett It's pretty distressing. Any help would be incredibly appreciated. 

I recently upgraded to Premiere 2025 and have been experiencing odd glitches in exports in various timelines. One issue is when I create In/Out points on the editing timeline, then go to export, Premiere will export previous In/Out points. For example, if I wanted to export the first three minutes of my timeline, then adjust the In/Out points to later in the edit (minutes 3-6), it will still export from the initial In/Out point, or just a fragment of the edit. One way to resolve would be to adjust I/O points in the export window, but that is a clunky way of working-- the other would be to copy the footage into a new timeline, then it seems to work fine. I have also experienced Premiere to export edits with simple motions (when layered) that will not take. They work fine individually, but when stacked or nested, will not function properly.I also have experienced audio muting on the timeline, which prompts me to have to relaunch the application, then the audio works fine.I work off of a

I've been using the speech-to-text feature for a couple of months now, but editing the transcript is a bit clunky. Currently I have to double-click in the transcript panel to enter editing mode. This selects the whole current "paragraph", ignoring where I just clicked. One thing that would make this a tiny bit easier would be if there was a shortcut key to enter "edit mode" in the transcript panel. That way I wouldn't have to mouse over to the panel each time. I've looked in the keyboard shortcuts but see nothing obvious. If this was an MS Office app (heaven forbid!) it would be the F2 key. Does one exist?

Hello,  i have been tasked with finding a way to integrate a client's different tools and systems, and specifically their premiere pro, so I have a few questions regarding integration & CEP extensions.  Specifically a react webapp with premiere pro, and integrating communication between them, or more if possible.  My problem is, I first need to know what is possible with the tools that exist today before I learn how to do it.  I have been reading about CEP extensions trying to understand the flow, because there's a number of posts here and elsewhere about react webapp integration with premiere pro.   From what I have read, it seems like most people are talking about building a react app inside of premiere pro's cep extensions folder, and loading the react app INSIDE of premiere pro itself.  But I'm wondering, can I communicate from an external react webapp to premiere pro?  so a few questions:- if there's an interface on an ext

Hi,I try to zoom in a small video which is masked. When I use the scale parameter I have the problem, that the mask is also scaling which I don't want. I want the mask to not change and only scale the video.  Thanks for your support

I do not know if this is an After Effects or Premiere Pro Issue:When using Expressions in an Essential Graphics Template in Ae (.mogrt), they do not seem to be working in Pr. Example: Having a checkbox for controlling the visibility of a Comp via an Expression works fine in Ae, does nothing in Pr. There are no Expression Errors in Ae, no Error Messages - the checkbox just does not do anything. I followed three different tutorials on the net to eliminate my own stupidity - none gave a working Essential Graphics Template. Funny enough, when editing a working Essential Graphics Template (such as the "Adobe News LowerRight") in Ae and exporting as a new Essential Graphics Template, Expressions keep working - for example the "Inverse Rotation" Checkbox.  My System is running the most current Versions: Windows 10 Version 10.0.18362 Build 18362, Premiere Pro 13.1.5 (Build 47) and After Effects 16.1.3 Build 5. What am I missing here? I've used mask tracking before, although not often, and I don't remember it behaving this way. I'm on Pr 22.5, Windows 10. I'm tediously tracking a mask, one frame at a time, making adjustments on each frame. When I go back to the beginning of the clip to watch, the mask is no longer what I drew. ??? In other words, the keyframes appear to not stay the same. The mask is usually a slightly different shape, and moved over to either the left or right. The points of the mask move to seemingly random nearby points. And the part of the video I worked so laboriously to cover is once again visible. I have tried more than once. The first time I spent an hour on a short clip, and then assumed I had done something wrong, so I tried again. Another hour ish. Same thing. The points of the mask do not stay where I draw them. I don't remember this happening before. It's either a bug, or operator error somehow. I'm open to either, just want to know what's going on

Hello,I've been having quite a lot of problems with Adobe Premiere Pro ever since I updraged to Creative Cloud (Premiere randomly crashing with or without error messages, export window not starting, randomly crashing while exporting video, exported video disappearing from the hard drive etc.), but I've always managed to get my projects done eventually. This time, no matter what I tried, Premiere wouldn't export my project successfully. I managed to find a solution eventually, by encoding the project with Adobe Media Encoder 2022, but I decided to post about it anyways in case it's a bug in Premiere or something. The project I was working on is about an hour long, 1920 x 1080, 25 fps, several video tracks etc. Nothing too special, I've successfully worked on larger projects before. For reference, I work for/with teach pro colorists and have worked in both Premiere and Resolve for over a decade. Rec.709 standards require the screen/monitor to apply a display transform to the video data of essentially gamma 2.4. All broadcast specced systems, PCs, TVs, streaming, Android, and Macs with Reference modes set to HDTV  ... follow the proper standards. ONLY Macs without Reference modes use a different, and very much lighter, display transform! For some unfortunate reason, Apple uses essentially gamma 1.96 on all Retina Macs without Reference modes. Fraime ioを使用できない状態になっているのでどなたかご教示いただけると助かります。 当初はエラーが表示されて使用出来なかったのですが、creative cloudでｖ4をインストールしてやっと通常の使用が出来るという段階まで来ました。その後、ADD　projectをクリックし、project　maneを入れた後、下のcreateを押して次に進む所で、createが反応してくれません。その為にここから先に進まず困っています。何度も再起動をして試しましたができませんでした。 仕事で使用する為、何とか解決したいと考えています。よろしくお願いいたします！

Apple M1 UltraSequoia 15.2 Premiere 25.1 in collaboration with After Effects 25.1 continues to lose Dynamic Links after I re-link over and over and over again. I work on a project in the office on my desktop Mac. Then work on it at home on MacBook Pro. Once the project goes through the string change relinking required everytime I change systems (perfectly understandable) it then keeps losing the link after I have clarified where Premiere should be looking for my After Effects project. For some reason it seems to forget what I told it a few minutes later and I have to relink all over again . . . over and over and over. This is not a new problem. So far, none of the ideas for fixes for some of the similar dynamic link unlinking actually work. Is this something that is being worked on at the application code level at Adobe? Please. It's an old old problem. G

Hi,So I finished a project and archived both the AP (using project manager) and AE (dependencies) to backup hard drives.In this premiere project, there are multiple AE clips linked to it. Some comps were created in AE and brought into Premiere. Others were clips in the premiere timeline that were replaced in AE.When I open the premiere project from the backup drive, one After Effects clip works fine. All the others show color bars.I've tried to relink them, thinking that is the problem, but Premier won't let me (it's grayed out). Is there a way to fix this so that all of the AE clips in the premiere timeline(s) work?Thanks

I recorded a video using DJI Action 2 camera and when I try to import (drag and drop) to premiere pro latest version, only the audio will get imported. I get an error message that says - File uses unsupported video compression type "vp09".Workaround that I use on my windows machine - edit the video first using default windows editing software Clipchamp video editor and save the clip and then import it to Premiere Pro.Premiere Pro version - 24.1.0 (Build 85)Platform - Windows 11 home - version 23H2; OS build - 22631.3078 

As the title says,I just downloaded and installed Premiere,some workspaces work, others, like Captions and Graphics, immediately crash it.It's not custom workspaces that create the issue but default workspaces. I can open the captions window on the "safe" workspaces (thank god!) I sent the report to Adobe, leaving my email. The diagnostics found a possible fix and asked me to reset some preferences. I said ok but the problem is still there. The same fix is then advised after the next crash. I already reset all preferences by pressing Alt while launching Premiere, to no avail. I even tried to cancel all the custom workspaces, even though they don't seem to be responsible for the issue. Oddly, they always appear after I launch the software again. Previous version of Premiere Pro have been installed on my computer reset previously.

Hello!I have recently converted some team projects to regular premiere projects and am finding that once that is done the file path is missing and batch re-linking is not possible. The only way I am able to re-link seems to be clip-by-clip (I named the bins in the project by camera so I am still able to easily find my clips despite the file path being missing - however since batch re-link is disabled it is proving to be way too time consuming to re-link clip by clip).Has anyone found a resolution to this issue?! After the latest update the scrolling feature in zoomed Program view disappeared.1. Version 24.4.1 (Build 2)2. Platform: Mac OS Sonoma3. Zoom Program window to 100%4. Used to be able to scroll up or down, right or left in zoomed view, after the udpate the feature is unavailable.

El problema viene cuando guardo, cierro y cuando vuekvo a abrir, se crashea por completo. Me da el aviso dque está trabajando con muy poca memoria, todo el sistema se alenta y se cierra. Ya no puedo hacer nada.  Ya intenté todas las soluciones: Borrar datos de caché, desinstalar la app, cambiar de versión.Mi equipo es una Workstation DELL Precision. las especificaciones son las siguientes: NVIDIA RTX 2000 ADA INTEL i7-13700H32 GB DE RAM 

When I'm editing video in Premiere Pro, I have to turn up the volume on my PC because it is so quiet.  When I then render the audio and listen to the same video in VLC or Subtitle Edit, the audio is much louder, at a good level. In Windows 11's Volume Mixer. Premiere Pro, VLC, and Subtitle Edit are all set to 100% volume, and all are using the Default output. So why is Premiere Pro so quiet?  Is there a way to boost its playback/preview volume to the same level at VLC and Subtitle Edit, without actually increasing the volume of the clips within the project? Thanks.

Can someone tell me why this appears when I try to enter Premier Pro? 

Cut & Paste does not work in the Captions panel:1. Highlight some text in a caption in the Captions panel.2. Ctrl-x to cut it (don't copy it). The text disappears, as expected.3. Click in another text caption in the Captions panel.4. Hit ctrl-v to paste it.Nothing happens.It seems "cut" performs the same task as "delete". The workaround is to copy the text, then delete it, then paste it elsewhere.
