Hi everyone, Previosuly I have been able to upload video and photo content from my personal iPhone to my work Adobe Creative Cloud account, then download on a work desktop PC, but note that this feature is/has been discontinued? I'm a scientist working in healthcare and filming instructional videos using my iPhone as part of my extra duties. We do not have a dedicated graphics/film crew. Videos taken on my iPhone have to be uploaded to a work desktop PC for editing with Premier Pro. I have Adobe Rush on my iPhone but would prefer Premier Pro as work-in-progress can be shared and the final versions will be saved on an intenal local sever and viewed on a work desktop PC by staff (so not exporting to social media or YouTube). What I am filming is often very detailed and close up so editing on a larger PC screen is visually preferable to a smaller iPhone screen. Using the Apple iCloud link for sharing photos/videos does not work as gets blocked by our work fi
Before Premiere Pro 25.1 I believe I have been able to render effects in to out to speed up my timeline (by pre-rendering heavy fx sections), but my new project in 25.1 does not let me do this unless i use software playback. Worsening the issue, some sections of effects have errors and bugs in software rendering but not CUDA, and vice versa (errors in CUDA rendering but not software). This currently requires me to alternate back and forth between playback methods, pre-rendering effects with software for the CUDA errors and chugging with CUDA through the software errors. I attempted to use an older version of Premiere Pro, but was informed when launching the project in Premiere Pro 24.6.4 that because the project was created on a newer version, it is not compatible with an older version leaving me no way to test my problems on an older version. Version: Premiere Pro 25.1Plugins: Red Giant UniverseIssue: Effects bugs when whether using software or CUDA playback; can't pre-render eff
Video Attached Two transform effects stacked on a clip. Scaling up using the first transform behaves just as expected - image size increases from the anchor point. However, now when I scale up using the second transform, even though its anchor point shows exactly where the first transforms anchor point is, the scaling doesn't happen from this anchor point. It looks as if the anchor point shifted for the second transform, but it hasn't (the coordinates of the anchor point are the same for the second and first transform effects). When the first transform is disabled the second transform works just as expected - scaling from the anchor point. Why is this happening?
I created a MOGRT in after effect. Simple. It has a text field, as well as the ability to edit the font: size, font itself, and set bold, italic and AllCaps. When I add this MOGRT to the timeline, I would like to change the font and font size. How can I do this except through a JSON object?i.e. I can dogetValue(), thenJSON.parce(), replace the necessary parameters,JSON.stringify()and apply the changed string to the parameter. But on some computers (it doesn't matter on macOS or windows) there were problems with inserting multiline text. if it is inserted just through setValue('multilinText') - everything is fine... But how to edit the font size or change the font itself?
I'm an Assistant Editor with a documentary company where many of the editors are off-site. We use Lucid Link. Is it possible to have the Production live on Lucid Link, and have our entire team – our off-site editors, as well as those of us at the office (myself and the director) – work out of it instead of having local copies of the Production? This way, theoretically, if there's a new day of shooting, I can Add it as a Project to the Production on Lucid and everyone will immediately have access to it. Also, the director can easily take a look at any work from the off-site editors because we'd all be working out of the Production that lives on Lucid. Would this be inadvisable? I imagine there's an unforseen consequence I'm not anticipating. On Page 74 of your Best Practices guide, "Decentralized Collaboration with Productions" recommends for each off-site team member to have a local copy of the Production:https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/long-form-ep
When create After Effects composition in Premiere Pro with Dynamic Link, AE launches automatically if it's not launched, and prompt Save dialog. Until resolve AE's Save dialog, PP goes to not responding, and now my Mercury Transmit screen convers my Save dialog, so can't interact AE's dialog anymore, because PP is not responding so Mercury Transmit is also freezed. One solution in this case, for who has dual monitors—so Mercury Transmit means they havve multiple display yeah—, is Shift + Win + Left/Right to snap the AE's dialog to other monitor, or making new virtual desktop and move AE to that... but who knows that?? I suffered for a hour to fix that ANR problem, actually I didn't know there's AE's dialog. Now I and anothers also suffered this problem denounce about this sadistic design of Adobe, and they'll say like "Update the Premiere Pro, After Effects, Graphics Driver, Windows 11, and disable Hardware Acceleration, then... then... I don;t know sorry give us feedback to i
Hi everyone, I'm trying to write an ExtendScript to automate cutting clips in Premiere Pro at specific timestamps. My goal is to: Use a script to cut the video clips on Video Track 0 at multiple timestamps (e.g., 00:00:05:00 to 00:00:06:10 , 00:00:10:00 to 00:00:12:10, etc.). Ensure it adheres to ES2 standards (no modern JS features). Follow the official Premiere Pro API guidelines without using AI tools or unofficial APIs. Problem: I’ve tried a few scripts, but none seem to work correctly. Here are the issues I’m facing: The script doesn’t cut the clips at the specified timestamps. It seems like the split() method isn’t behaving as expected. I’m not sure if I’m calculating the timecode-to-ticks conversion properly. Can anyone please create and share the code for my use case here? It will be beneficial. Thanks in Advance.
Hello Community! I am new to Premiere (I usually use AE,PS,AI) and I've been encountering a recurring issue that is driving me insane. I have Premiere 25.1.0 installed. I am using a Focusrite Scarlett 212 with my Shure Beta 87a microphone. I want to record stereo audio into Premiere using this audio interface and I can not, for the life of me, figure out why I am still only getting mono recording/playback. I've attached some photos showing my audio channels are set to stereo (at least as far as I can tell) and I don't know what I'm not doing right. Can someone please educate me on this problem? Any other info needed I'll gladly provide. I'd really appreciate it!
Why is my sequence not expanding past 23 minutes? Back in Premiere after a few months mostly in AfterEffects, where you designate the length of a sequence in settings. I thought Premiere would just infinitely expand a sequence if I kept adding clips to it. But it's not letting me add anything past 23 minutes. I'm poking around in settings. I don't see an option to extend my sequence. What's up?
Hi all,I have been using Premiere pro to edit videos for a little while now. However, I have just noticed that in some clips, the first five or so seconds have been cut out. Though when i go into the file outside of Premiere is has the full clip there. It's only when i import into my project that the beginnings of some of the clips have been cut. Also the videos im using have been shot on an old camcorder that have been converted to MP4 files through VLC. Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated as the beginning of these clips are crucial to my video! Cheers
I'm considering purchasing a refurbisehd computer which is 4th Gen i7, has 16gb of RAM, 240GB SSD and a 4GB dedicated graphics card. I know this doesn't meet the minimum specs for Premiere Pro, but can anybody advise just how much trouble it will be to use the program on this type of processor? I mostly use Dreamweaver and I am beginning to use Illustrator and Photoshop more, but I do use Premiere Pro occasionally. Thanks for any insight.
So it's pretty weird issue i'm dealing recently with Adobe Premiere Pro 25When i add a sound to timeline:in the first audio channel the sound only comes from leftin the second audio channel the sound only comes from rightin the 3rd & 4th i hear no soundbut some how when i move to 5th channel the sound is okay,i record a short video for you so you guys can understand easily: https://youtu.be/zwEfKbd2P2Yi have no effects on the sound, and i clicked all the buttons audio channel part(A1, A2 etc.) yet i have this issue, also when i create different projects there is no such this issue, so i believe i did something wrong or something like that and i would like to learn how to fix such things.
Hello! When exporting, I get this weird Glitches in my videos when Exporting. I have compared my raw footage vs the exported videos and have found those glitches only on my Exported Videos so I suspect that has something to do with my Sequence or Export Settings. Down below are screenshots of my Recording settings in OBS, Sequence, Exporting Settings in Adobe premiere, and some Glitch examples.another example of this weird glitches can be seen in my YouTube Video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWaktKle50U&t=4102s at 30:50 timestamp **Something to note is that I RECORD at 1440p and use "Set to frame size" at 2160p SEQUENCE settings.**I am fairly new to editing so please let me know if I miss any important info. that I need to provide. My PC specs:CPU: Ryzen 7 7800x3dGPU: RTX 3060ti
How to export text layers into srt file?
Hey All,I have customized my Metadata fields in my List View and saved it as a custom layout. Every time I start up a new project it defaults back to another layout. Is there any way to have my custom layout open on every new project instead of having to load my custom preset every time? If it was just me using this edit suite it wouldn't be an issue to change it each time, but we have many editors that use this suite that are not as fluent in changing feature such as this, also it saves time to just have this layout load each time. Thanks in advance!!CB
Hi.I have question regarding video export. I have dron shots filmed in 4K. I import them in premiere pro and downsize the quality to 1080p in sequence settings. Also I edit these shots with fast forward tehnique (time interpolation - frame blending) and export the video with recommended settings in the attachemend below, but after exporting video is blurry. Can someone advice me which setting I need to use that my video will be in the best quality as it could be?Thank youu 🙂
When I click the microphone button to record a voice-over, there is a bunch of lound static noise coming out of my computer. It does not happen in Imovie so its just premiere. I checked that my microphone settings were correct, anyone knows how to fix this?
I have tried uninstall/reinstall, and clearing medai cache files. Upon attempting to open premiere, the loading window briefly displays, then disappears. The Premiere icon appears in my dock as an open app, but no Premiere windows display.
I work from a home office with a view of our patio and tropical garden out of the window. When I do a video that includes me talking to the camera this pic is the actual scene. Recently I created a video using generative fill with Firefly that looks like this:I like this background and would like to keep it for future videos but as I have to (it seems) work from a screenshot of the new video to create the background in Firefly it always looks different. I haven't got a green screen. Any suggestions please?
A couple days ago, I experienced a weird thing in Premiere 22.2: - I always organize my footage with different color labels to differentiate lets say interview a-cam, b-cam, b-roll, gfx etc. Suddenly, all my labels went out the window and reset to the default iris (light blue). Quite disturbing and annoying!! Anyone has/had the same experience? Any idea of troubleshooting this and prevent it?
Hey all, Weird one that I can't seem to find any answers for online. I've got a project with many instances of speed ramping and time remapping. Mostly just going from 100% to 50%. Footage was shot at 50fps, working in a 25fps sequence. The speed ramps worked fine and played back smoothly a couple of months ago. Opened the project today to find none of them play back smoothly. They all look as though I've applied speed ramping to clips shot at 25fps. If I start a new sequence and add a clip from this project to it, they can be speed ramped just fine, but copying a speed ramped clip from the old sequence into the new sequence does nothing to fix playback of the old speed ramping. I tried rendering one of the old speed ramped clips to see if playback would be smooth on the render but not in Premiere, but to no avail. I've attached that clip as a reference. I really don't want to have to re-do all of the speed ramping as there are about 3 dozen instances.&nbs
Hey,I'm editing RED Komodo footage and in 1 project I have massive performance problems. The activity monitor shows the "ImporterREDServer" taking up a lot of the performance.Any idea what this is?In a lot of other projects, with the same camera footage etc. everything is running fine. Maybe something went wrong while importing?Thank you!
Hey everyone, Has anyone else been dealing with this annoying issue in Premiere Pro? Every time I shut down and reopen Premiere, my anamorphic ratio resets to the regular pixel aspect ratio by default. I’ve been setting it to anamorphic during my session, but no matter what, it always reverts back when I launch the program again. It’s seriously messing with my workflow, especially when I’m working on projects that require precise aspect ratios. I don’t want to keep manually adjusting it every time I open the program. Has anyone found a fix or workaround for this? Or is this just a bug that Adobe still hasn’t addressed?Would love to hear if anyone else is experiencing this and if you’ve managed to fix it. Thanks! PS: I think I will finally switch to DaVinci this year.
I had a shoot with 2 camera's, both had a tentacle sync-unit during the shoot. All the video and audio is synced in the Tentacle sync sofware and imported to Premiere Pro. After my editing is done, I close my project. The next morning, the only thing I see is this:There are no reports of missing files etc, but some of the clips look like these. They don't play any video, the screen is just black. There are also audiofiles with these. Some other videoblocks and audioblocks still contain content, but these are not the timecodes I used. (Shifted for random times,..)And some other don't have problems at all.I can't find a logical way to understand this issue in the software. This is the 3rd time this happens to me (with different versions of Premiere), and I don't have a clue what this could be.Can anyone help me out to fix this?
