Issue: When i have a clip on V1 and another clip on top on V2 track, and i only want to make changes to the V1 track i enable this track and disable the rest of the tracks so that they don't get affected but when i press W or Q it cuts all the tracks (even the ones the weren't enabled) including the Audio tracks and it does so in a VERY wierd way.Even if i disable all the tracks it still cuts them (as shown in the video).Adobe Premiere Pro Version Number: 25.1Operating System: Windows 10System Info: Processor: Ryzen 5 3600, GPU: GTX 1650 SUPER,16GB RAM,Hard Drive 1TB HDD, 500GB SSD.Workflof Details: Just any clip one on V1 track and another on V2 track on top of each other.Steps to Reproduce: 1- Take 2 clips that you want to edit2-Place one of them at the beginning of the timeline on the V1 track and another on the V2 track also at the beginning of the timeline.3-(Say you only want to edit the V1 track) disable the V2 track and leave the V1 track enabled, then selec

Hey peeps! First time poster here, long time reader. I have a problem where Premiere Pro crashes when I try to setup a path for action.Let's say I want to create a new project, but don't want the project to save on my previously worked folder, so I "choose a new location" and bam! Premiere crashes. This happens also if I open a project and try to import/export material. So far the only workaround I've found is to run the application as admin. Compatibility mode for Win8 doesn't work. Slows things a tiny bit as you can't drag and drop material. SystemVersion: Windows 11 HomeVersion: 24H2Premiere version: 25.1.0 (Tried to update to newest version, but didn't do anything. When Exporting an AAF from a Sequence that has audio clips that have been Remixed sync is lost. A recent project came in with two music clips that had been Remixed. The clips were on the same track, with one non-remixed clip on the track immediately beneath. The edits came across however the second clip was offset by a considerable amount (25secs 15 frames see attached photos). This is consistent with both embedded, and non-embedded AAFs and with whole files or with handles. The workaround is to "Render and Replace" each Remixed clip - although the edit points are now lost. MacStudio M1Max 64GBPremiere v 25.1Mac OS 15.2

What happened to the hands on tutorials that they used to have for Premire Pro in Adobe Learn?

as you can see from the attached photos, my timeline is blank, and my edited sequence where it's name should be is also blank. i can right click it, but choosing the rename option does nothing. i can't left click. playback works, but still my timeline is completely blank.i've tried opening a previous auto save, deleting cache, reinstalling the app, changing layouts, no luck so far

Hey. I have a problem with centering the Program panel. As you can see in the screenshot, the panel is hugged to the left side of the panel, not centered. How do I fix this?  

I am new to Automation Blocks, and trying to figure out how to take a long sequence full of clips and convert each of them into a subclip where the trims are restricted to the subclip boundaries.Any help would be greatly appreciated! 

So basically Im having an issue with Premiere pro, I have videos that im getting from my Xbox.so what im doing is recording clips from my Xbox, then upload them to the cloud and download them Directly. When i view the videos i have no issues. BUT If i edited this clip on my Xbox, Via Trimming. for some reason i get this weird slow then quick issue with the video itself when i put it in Premiere Pro. the Audio works fine but its only the video part of it and i have no idea as to why this is happening. The Video works fine everywhere else, When viewing it online in cloud as well as the standard video players. I made voice recordings on Adobe Audition and placed cue (default) markers all throughout the audio files as I always done in past projects. But in my current Premiere Pro project when I import my Audition wav files, none of the markers show up in both source window and program window. When I first saved my audio files in Audition, the box to include markers and other metadata box was checked. Did a setting get changed automatically in Premiere's update or is this a bug? EDIT: I checked my old projects and the same problem is there too. Now I am sure this is a bug from current Premiere update

I'm having a strange issue whcih is new on a project. When rendering in PP, everything is fine, when rendering in ME, the gamma and colour of one cameras clips is wrong and also an overlay that is hiding some cropping of the frame is not being rendered. This is a project that I have been working on for a few months and everyhting was fine until the latest update. The error occurs on both Windows 11 (latest) and Mac Sequoia 15.2. Both PP and ME versions are the latest. I would upload frame grabs of the issue, but the forum is not allowing me to upload jpegs for some reason. I've attempted to attach them.

Hi, I'm using a Canon M50 to film my videos and the default sharpness level (4) was way too high. I reduced it to 2 and I need an opinion about the look. To me it looks a bit blurry and when I crop the image it gets worse.This is the video.What do you think? Thank you!Francesco

Affected Versions Based On My Testing:  Windows: Premiere Pro 2024 and 2025 (Didn't test any others) Mac: Premiere Pro 2024 (But seemingly not 2025)   Steps to Reproduce: Open the Keyboard Shortcuts menu Assign one of the 'Change Label Color' command to either F5 or F6 (Keyboard Shortcuts  > Application > Edit > Label > [Whatever Color] )  Press the shortcut key once with a clip selected   Result: The command gets triggered twice, despite a single keypress of the shortcut.   On my main Windows machine it occurs in both 2025 and 2024. I also tested this in a fresh Windows virtual machine with a fresh install of just Premiere Pro 2025, even using virtual key input to ensure it wasn't my keyboard affecting it, and it still does it. (I didn't test PP 2024 in the VM)   I also tried it on a Mac (M2 Macbook Air 2022), and for MacOS it also does it in PP 2024, but strangely not PP 2025 it seems (unlike on Windows where it occurs for both

For a science fiction trailer I'm working on, I want to achieve an effect where a little red light flashes twice in the eye of a woman. I tried doing this with AI (Kling), and it made it way too dramatic.I want just two little flashes around the cornea while the camera does a slow zoom-in. Can I accomplish that with something in the effects panel?

So at some point last autumn I started getting the bug with the playhead getting stuck. I've tried the solutions posted here that have worked for other people, such as closing the Essential graphics tab, clearing media cache and resetting the workspace layout. Nothing's helped.I haven't used Premiere in a few months (just a hobby user) and forgot about it but apparently, the bug is still present for me even with the latest update. Does anyone have any other ideas on how to solve it? Thanks in advance!/Göran

Earlier this week I had to upgrade my Adobe Prem to 2025 as another videographer was using the latest on his device and we are collaborating on a video. He uses a Mac and I used a HP.As soon as this happened and I went to access the files, it wouldn't link with MP4 (HEVC) 10-bit file types (I had no issues before). So, it will only show the audio file, not the video file. If I convert to MP4 (H.264) 8bit, it shows, but I don't want to convert the dozens of files. I returned to an older version (23.6.8), but I still had the same problem.I checked that IT have installed the windows HEVC Video Extensions and also asked them to install the Canon HEVC Activator (as the video guy used a Canon). All added but did nothing.I have worked with this guy before, but on the older versions of Adobe Prem, but the same files types and between a Mac and HP, with no issues!I went onto my older home PC that has Adobe Prep 2022 and had no issue with the MP4 (HEVC) 10-bit file.So clearly something has

Hi,Premiere Pro 2021 and Media Encoder work perfectly on my windows 10 PC that meets the minimum requirements.. But I cannot use Premiere Pro 2022 and Media Encoder 2022, that freeze everytime they need to open Windows Explorer to select a file or a folder.I cannot even create a new project: in the "Import" tab: if I want to choose another project path, Premiere freezes when windows explorer opens.The same in the "Export" tab when I want to change the export file name. I still can do my own projects with Premiere 2021 but cannot work on any team project created with Premiere 2022. Any idea on how to fix this ?Thanks. 

I'm having major playback problems on both Premiere Beta and Premiere 25.1.  It lags, freezes and is choppy.  I barely can edit!  I am using proxy files for the 4k footage shot on Sony cameras and drone footage.  I am playing back on 1/4 resolution.  I turned off "High Resolution playback".  I deleted all my media cache.  I even bought a new mac computer.  I am using a mac studio M2 64 GB Ram.  Sequoia OS.  I often will shut down and reboot and sometimes it temporaily solves the problems, and then gets locked up again. I'm getting fed up with Adobe premiere!  Please let me know what else I need to do.

I stabilized a video with Gyroflow and pre-composed it, then I applied a transform effect and tried to make a zoom animation. However I get this weird behavior where The clip gets distorted with a green bg. How is that possible? Is the Transform effect affecting the Gyroflow plugin even Inside the nested sequence? If I turn off the transform it goes back to normal

Hi. I have edited a 3 minute video in Premiere Pro, and have exported an MP4 video for social media. Can I just burn that to a DVD somehow?I used to use Encore but thats not available anymore. I need to create a DVD because the people I'm doing the video for are nuns and they dont use any new technology. They only have a DVD player. I have a DVD burner and blank DVDs which I stored from years ago! Thank you
