What's the latest information on when Adobe plans to add support for hardware decoding of 4:2:2 10-bit .MXF files on Nvidia Blackwell GPUs?Attached is a screenshot from Premiere's debug monitor. I played footage from a Sony A7S III wrapped as .MP4 (X-AVC S 4:2:2 10-bit 3840x2160 23.978) and footage from a Sony FX6 wrapped as .MXF (X-AVC I 4:2:2 10-bit 3840x2160 23.978). You can see in "Importer.MP4" that hardware decoding is being used for the .MP4 footage, and in "Importer.MXF" that hardware decoding is NOT being used for the .MXF footage.I'm not sure if this is a bug, or if Adobe simply hasn't added this feature yet.I am on Premiere 26.3.0 and Nvidia Studio Driver 610.62. GPU is RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. OS is Windows 11.  

i've been trying to open up the emoji pannel and it doesn't seem be where it is for others in the edit panel. i alsso tried to find a keyboard shortcuts to find it but when i searched for it in key binding it did not exist. i'm using the latest version (25.2.1) and windows 11. 

I’ve looked in every forum possible and i have never had issues importing .avi files to convert to .mp4 before now!!  I’ve been doing so for 2 years now with zero issues.  I just got a new laptop, so disk space isn’t even remotely a problem.  I use Maya 2026, and export playblasts as .avi (the only format for playblasts without rendering which would take me hours rather than seconds), and the only way I can import a video into a sequence is if the quality/scale has been reduced, resulting in a grainy and pixelated product.  Why won’t it let me upload full 100% quality versions of my playblasts when I have been able to before.  It says its a metadata xmp issue and there’s nothing but *exporter* issues resolved online.  Pls help

Hello! recently purchased a MacBook Air (M5) and tried to download Premiere Pro and the Adobe creative cloud. However I keep getting an error message saying "The disk image couldn't be opened - The disk image is corrupted". I've tried redownloading the dmg files, restarting my laptop, using coding to try bypass security to install the files but nothing has worked.  Some YouTube I’ve watched regarding this issue (no success)      

Hi I’m hitting a wall here.I use the LOG footage grading workflow: Lumetri Color → Settings → Input LUT (i use the correct LUT + Change to Wide Gamut (Tone Mapped)This makes the footage look amazing.BUT the graphics look greyed out. I nest my sequence without the graphics and put the nested sequence in a Rec 709 (SDR) sequence where the graphics look like they should and also the footage (nested) is correct too.However when I export, the footage is exported without wide gamut an all that. Very frustrating. Tried everything. Either footage is greyed out or graphics. Help me please!

I want to set it up so that certain video files always open Premiere Pro, including MP4 and MOV files. Unfortunately, whenever I try to select premiere pro as the default application, the system calls it “unknown application” and doesn’t work. I have to open Premiere Pro, start a project, and THEN add the file, which is a couple more steps than I really want to deal with when I’m simply organizing my thoughts for a project with videos I have on hand. Has anyone else run into this problem? Is it truly an Adobe issue, or should I be nagging Microsoft about it? I don’t understand why this occurs with only Premiere Pro as well because I have no problems with Photoshop, illustrator, or Lightroom. Just Premiere Pro.Thank you for any help anyone can provide and please let me know if I can elaborate if needed.

I’m working on a documentary where most of the footage is shot on iPhones (various models, from 13Pro to 17Pro). I believe they shot HEVC variable frame rate. Some of the clips are over 2 hours long. We tried running proxies, but some clips would freeze during playback. The freezing stopped happening when we detached the proxies and played back from the raw, so we gave up on the proxy workflow re: the iPhone footage.We’re now running into exporting issues. Some of the clips are freezing during export (they keeping getting stuck at a particular part of each clip). We’re concerned that, if we cut those sections into an edit sequence and try exporting the edit sequence, the export will freeze.I saw a post from 6 years ago re: issues with iPhone footage: One reply I found intriguing is that 3rd party transcode software like Handbrake & Shutter Encoder may work better than Media Encoder in this instance because professional products like Media Encoder & Premiere were not designed to

Hi.I have a Sennheiser-microfone connected to my Windows11-PC via Behringer mixer XENYX1204 USBand used the setup for years without any problems. In my current project (Premiere Pro 26.3.0 Build 93)Premiere suddenly keeps crashing, once I stop the voice-over-recording. I cleaned the medicace already. I use MME and the Mikrofon (USB Audio CODEC) as my input. Output is Deckling Studio 4K.I also tried Premiere Pro 25 an the program also crashes. Exactly the same settings worked on a project I finished 4 weeks ago. Any ideas?? when i try to update my premiere pro, it shows me that i don't have IT-permission 

I have a video with several different clips which I now can't remove the attributes. I click remove attributes, I click effects, I click OK, absolutely nothing changes and I'm left with audio that sound very 'tinny' from having two 'de-noise' effects on it. Help!

I’ve used Premiere 2024, 2025, 2026 on Windows 11.  Through May 2026 I had no problems.  Now, in July 2026, if I open Premier and try to import an .mp4 (in order to create captions), about 5 seconds after the import, Premiere stalls/freezes - affecting the whole computer - and I have to do a hard shutdown and restart the computer.  Opening Premiere again will show a red box saying Premiere closed incorrectly.  Saying ‘resume’ does the same thing.  Cancelling that allows me to import again...with the same result. I would appreciate your help.  Thank you.

This is one of the most frustrating things I've encountered from Adobe Premiere. The Dynamic Link breaks every time I save a project in After Effects. I will save my "linked" After Effects project, go back to Premiere and it breaks the link EVERY TIME. This has been going on so long I just re-link it every time and say "Im switching to Da Vinci". I have the most up to date Premiere and After Effects.    This doesn't happen just once, or right after I open the program. No names are changed, no locations of projects or files change, just every time I hit save....boom, Premiere blows up.   This is unacceptable from a company like Adobe and I can't believe this hasn't been fixed.    See link. Screen on the right in AE and then left is PP. You can watch it happen over and over and over again, just like I do!   [Moderator note: moved to Bug section of forum posts.]

I am unable to copy and paste audio attributes, specifically volume. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and tried creating a new project. This used to work fine. I'm on a deadline for a huge project and am getting frustrated. Adobe is so expensive and issues like this aren't ok!Anyone got any ideas or fixes? I am using Premire pro to help my students edit a video and I can't see the preview for it anymore. I am know to acciedently click things and change my view so I am wondering how to get that preview back.I have added an image of what I see. I need  the video bacfk on the top so I can see what I am editing. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I generated a video in firefly and I am trying to open to make edits in premiere pro and I am getting “Can't open in Premiere desktop.”

Post team in a 10G NAS shared storage environment for team collaboration on projects/productions(we solely use Productions now). There are about 4 MacBook Pros, an M3 Ultra Mac Studio and a M4MacMini. An animator is on windows but the issue wasn’t there. All wired in on 10G. The Production is setup properly and “to spec” per the best practices. Everyone knows the key aspects of Productions, etc,,,, BUT last night I myself got on the M3 Ultra to work on something. I had to manually close a couple projects that were “locked” which happens sometimes but I spent like 3 hours working in 2 projects. I saved all - as I always do. I closed all projects then closed the production.  TODAY I come in and its like I was never even working on it last night but I found the auto saved project which got me 99% of the work back. WHY did this happen and HOW do I keep it from happening again? (Addtnl note: I found on the M4 Mac Mini with a large feature film production in progress, many of the folders wer

I install extensions in two ways—either through ZXP or by simply dropping the folder into C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions. But sometimes Premiere just doesn't recognize the extensions. Right now, I wanted to install Linkup Suite!  I downloaded it from the official website, but Premiere doesn't recognize it! It’s a good thing this is the free version—but what if I had bought this extension? How can I get Premiere to recognize the extension?
