Hello, I have a question regarding Adobe Premiere 2026. Is it still possible to use the 'old' masking method?I am very comfortable using the technique of setting a keyframe on the first frame and another on the last frame, allowing the mask to interpolate (move) automatically between them without using the 'Track Mask' feature. On my system, the automated tracking process is very slow, so I rely heavily on this manual first-and-last frame method.However, in the new Premiere Pro 2026, I am finding it very difficult to do this. I’ve even encountered a bug: when I use the Path tool to manually create a mask on the first frame and then move to the last frame to adjust it, the mask doesn't respond correctly. I cannot move the mask points directly in the Program Monitor; instead, I am forced to manually adjust the numerical values in the Effect Controls panel to get any movement. I’ve already tried anything solutions in this website, google, and AI, but none can’t fixed this.Please look into

My production panel completely removes all my projects from view. Bins seem intact, but there are duplicates of several bins. If I open the production on another computer it is fine. I have restarted and cleared the cache, but the issue persists.The only thing I can think of to do is to re-install Premiere. I'm trying to import a sequence from Premiere Pro into DaVinci Resolve as an XML file. The audio is synchronized in Premiere but unsynchronized in Resolve. Is there a way that I can *resolve* (Ha!) this?

Does Premeire Pro 26.0.2 (Build 2) support UXP Tool? The UXP tool connects t o Photoshop on the same system. But Premiere Pro v 26.0.1 (Build 2)  does not. How to fix this issue?

Is there a way to have a second program monitor? I am editing a multi cam sequence and desperately want to have the shots on one monitor and the live on another… not the playback. I want the program monitors to be showing different things at the same time

Beginner here… I have four clips imported into my project and they show on the timeline in sequence. How do I ‘crop’ or edit the portion of each that I want to be in the video? All were shot at 120fps and I want part of one of the clips to ‘slow down’ to show in slow motion and need help in how to do that also. My day would be so much better if I could learn how to do these two things. TIA, Ken  

I'm putting together a video for a band consisting of 5 cameras and one recorded, mixed track. I tried to make a multicam sequence the auto sync way, but it failed miserably at matching via the audio. Unfortunately, we didn't run timecode. So, I matched 5x cameras to the audio by hand and now only have the mix in for audio.  I've tried going to right click the sequence, open in source monitor, enable multi cam, then toggle multi cam view, but am trying to find a way to make edits to the sequence from multi-cam. What do I need to do to be able to toggle between cameras to edit in the multicam way that all the tutorial show? Or, is there a way I can at least be playing at the same tiem in the program monitor and source monitor, then make the cuts I want by hand? It feels like some step is missing still. Editing in Premiere Pro 2025 on a Mac.

Oftentimes when switching between tabs in the timeline window, for example, to copy and paste a clip from sequence to another, I am unable to select the clip in the new timeline because the focus (blue outline around the selected window) stays stuck on the Effect Controls window instead of on the timeline when the playhead is over the selected clip. I have reproduced this effect in the video below.  I am trying to select a clip in the timeline, but as soon as I click it, the focus returns to the effect controls tab. This seems to be a glitchy behavior around the “Selection Follows Playhead” behavior. Normally when the selection follows the playhead, the timeline still retains the focus. For some reason, it is staying stuck on the effect controls tab. If I move the playhead, I am able to select the clip, but it should allow me to select the clip regardless of where the playhead is. I tried everything - resetting, updating, but the masking options like- pen , rectangle , circle are not visible under opacity or gaussian blur in premiere pro’s effects control panel, even in fullscreen( ` ).

Whenever I apply Warp Stabilizer to a subclip in my timeline, it becomes more shaky instead of less. It’s almost like it’s applying the inverse of the stabilization. It acts normal, even auto-scales the clip up to account for lost edges, except it seems to add shake instead of counter it.If I switch to the same moment from the original source clip, it works just fine, as expected.

Hello! I'm having issues with the functionality of using render and replace while also using the warp stabilizer effect, or trying to use render and replace on nested sequences. I was really excited when I found this issue because I am wanting to render out all my effects with high-OG quality replacements so I can export the entire sequence as a .xml in order to bring it into another software. Currently, when I bring the .xml file into different software, all the clips that are stabilized do not come through since the .xml doesn't know what to do with them. I thought I have found an easy way to fix this compatibility issue, however, when I render and replace the clip it doesn't render the effect, instead, it gives me the "New Frames need stabilizing" banner - which is of course hard rendered into the new clip. I think it is possible to turn the banner off in the advanced settings, but usually, as I understand it this would mean that the effect hasn't actually been applied to the footag

I am complaining because Tools toolbar navigation feels like Mortal Kombat games on consoles- if you don’t know the right combination (for Fatality, Brutality, etc), then you mash buttons until you successfully dial the correct combination, and then hope you remember what you pushed. The cheat sheets and books that show the lists for those finishers in the game are very valuable. And likewise here, I discovered by accident, upon chatting with AI that holding on those buttons bring up more features.Object mask tool - very useful. But sometimes I need to draw my own shape. And I knew that beta version has that tool, and non beta version doesn’t. I thought it is abysmally ridiculous to get rid of Pen Mask tool in order to bring up the Object mask tool.  Only by accident, during an unrelated AI chat, I learned that if you hold onto the button, more buttons are revealed. What the hell? Does Adobe ASSUME everyone is THAT intelligent to figure out by looking?I need my 6 months back, please!I

Transform effect making my text layer pixelated/blurry. When I use transform effect on adjustment layer to add smooth motions on both text and underlying clip, the text gets pixelated even when I dont use an adj layer and use the transform effect on the text layer and add zoom using scale parameter; the text gets super blurry. Anyone knows any solution? 

"play audio while scrubbing" gets deselected every time I reopen PPro. I have to go to the audio settings to reselect it every time I open it. Any ideas on preventing this?  If it matters I have the latest PPro version on a MacMini M4.  Thanks
