Hello fellow Adobe community!I'm really new to masking and have been watching tutorials but have run into a problem I can't seem to fix, could yall help me out? I'm editing a trailer to a film screening. The title lies at the base of a windshield as 2 characters are driving. The wipers are moving and I'm trying to mask the wipers to wipe over the title. I successfully did it with the left wiper and it looks really good. I tried to make a second mask and mask the right wiper but it doesn't seem to work. I trace the wiper with the pen tool and select invert under mask expansion, same thing I did on the left wiper that worked, but anything I do seems to just turn off the effect of the left wiper mask. I feel like I'm not understanding some fundumental understanding of masking. Is it possible to make 2 masks, one of each wiper, on the same text? Hope I explained this well

Hallo, wenn ich in Premiere Pro 2025 eine Sequenz transkribieren lasse, anschliessend für die Sprecher Namen eintrage (in diesem Fall 4 verschiedene Sprecher*innen) und dann ein Transkript für textbasiertes Arbeiten generiere, verschwinden die Namen der Sprecher. Stattdessen wird nur noch "unbekannt" angezeigt. Was mache ich falsch? Freue mich über Hilfe. Danke!

I used to be able to open the effect control tab from the source video, but now I need to open the effect control window separately, which is annoying. Has something changed or am I doing something wrong? 

Hi, I was following a video tutorial, (on LinkedIn Learning so I can't link it), and I saw that they had a UI that had all of the elements and stuff way more compact in the screen.Meanwhile, my premiere pro takes up a lot more space (SS below), and I was wondering how I could tweak my settings to match those of the SS above.  Thank you!  

Adobe Home Screen No Longer Shows Recent Files All of A sudden and I don't know how to fix it. The first  picture is how it used to look moments ago (and is the layout I prefer) and the image on the bottom is how it looks now.     I don't understand. Please help me fix.    

Hey! So I am in the middle of delivery of a project, and all of a sudden premiere is not playing back audio on portion of one clip in my timeline. Since I worked on it yesterday, nothing has changed, I closed the project and opened again to find half the clips in my timeline not playing audio. The waveform is there, the audio mixer is not the issue, no clips or audio trakcs are muted. Original audio is there, VLC plays it fine. WTF premiere???

hi, ever since yesterday my premier pro won't open up.It says it's up to date, if I click on a saved project on the computer it opens up with the beta version.Please help, I have so much work to do...

If I add media or rename anything in the Project panel (bin, clip, whatever), every single bin down twirls and my project bin becomes a total cluster and I can't see what I'm working on. I have to option click the twirl arrow to up twirl every bin, and then twirl back down as needed. This is really a mess when working on a feature film with dozens if not hundreds of bins. The expected result is simply that the the twirl status of all the bins stays the same when importing or creating a new bin/sequence/color matte, etc.  This only occurred in a Project inside a Production. Closing the project and reopening it fixes the issue, but wanted to bring it to your attention so there is a record in case anyone else is dealing with this. I cannot say why this started, unfortunately.  Premiere Pro v 25.0.0 build 61 on macOS 15.1.1 System: M1 Max with 64GB memory  

Hello, Everytime I open Premiere 2025, the keyboard shortcuts I have dissapears. I even save as a custom one and it still disappers after I open premiere so i have to adjust it every single time. Is there a fix?

Has anyone encountered an issue with long 4K log files from a Canon EOS R6 MK II not playing fully in Premiere Pro? My 1-hour 4K log video (74GB) stops playing after 10 minutes when imported in premiere pro 2024 or adobe encoder, even though the full duration is detected when you check the details in the file's "properties" while in explorer/finder. I tried converting with HandBrake, but the issue persists. Any advice to fix it or similar experiences. I have attached the screenshots. Thank you so much for the assistance. My editing setup: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11900H @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GHz, RTX3080, 32GB Please note that while importing this file, it makes the PC run so slow and sometimes causes premiere pro to crash. 

I loved working in Story.  It's the best screenwriting software in my book. I've now had to go back to Final Draft, and it doesn't hold a candle.  I've also tried Celtx.  Ugh.  What do we have to do to get Story back? 

When I rearrange a clip in a row, the others move automatically. I don't know what to do anymore and it's really bothering me. Example:I have 3 takes in the same row with some space between themI select and drag the last take (using the V tool) to the beginning of the rowAnd a long space is automatically created between the first take and the next one, and always I rearrange or insert a new clip into a space, the spaces after the clip become larger and larger, disorganizing the clips that are after the place I changed.I would like to rearrange the clips and for the following ones not to move, as it always has been.I use Premiere Pro 2025 - Windows

Hello everyone, I am trying to export a video but every time I try to export it, it first says rendering audio tracks, takes about 2 minutes (for a 30 second video) and then the exported video the audio doesn't match the video, as well as the audio just keeps randomly cutting. Does anyone know how to fix this? 

Hallo Community, egal welches Video ich importiere, ob groß oder klein, die Wiedergabe in der Vorschau hakt. So kann man die Videos kaum bearbeiten. Grafikkartentreiber alles aktuell. Mediencache ist geleert. Aktuellste Version von PP installiert.Hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen. Vielen Dank vorab. 

Hello,   I recently completed a project and my client is dissatisfied with results of the quality of the exported project compared to the color, clarity, and quality of the raw footage.   Here are screen captures for comparison of the raw source, the exported version, and the two side-by-side   Here is a shot of the raw footage:     Here is a shot of the same frame, exported:     And two examples, side-by-side:     Here are my export settings on Premiere Pro:   Format: H.264 (.mp4) Framerate: Match the source video’s framerate Frame size: 3840x2160 Field Order: Progressive Aspect: Square Pixel Performance: Hardware Encoding Profile: High Level: 5.2   Bitrate Settings: Bitrate encoding: VBR (1 pass) ; also tried VBR (2 pass) but discernible no difference Target Bitrate: 90 Mbps Quality: Highest (slowest)   The footage was shot with a Canon R5, in MP4 8-bit.   I would appreaciate any advice for a better way to export to

When creating a "New Folder" in Frame IO within Premiere, it appears that you cannot name/rename the folder. You need to go to Frame IO outside of Premiere to rename.

I copied effects from an audio track into a new sequence and every time I do this on a single project Premiere Pro crashes. I tried restarting the program and PC which didnt help. I try to continue from a working quick safe, but every time I copy the track effects PP freezes. The track effects contain vst3 plugins (iZotope) When I open the crash dumps it shows a NULL_POINTER_READ_c0000005 for the HandlerAudioMixer.DLL (NULL_POINTER_READ_c0000005_HandlerAudioMixer.DLL!Unknown) and the latest crash being in dvaui.dll (NULL_POINTER_READ_c0000005_dvaui.dll!dvaui::ui::UI_Node::UI_IsEnabled).  READ_ADDRESS: 0000000000000000 ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000005 - Die Anweisung in 0x%p verwies auf Arbeitsspeicher bei 0x%p. Ok, so I need to organize my files like a regular person and have the folders highest up and then lower are all the other items like files and sequences. Now in the premiere 25.1 if i click the LABEL, to organize everything according to label, some items go ABOVE the folders. Doesn't matter which way the arrow is, folders are not the highest or lowest, they stay in between sequences and files. So I have to put everything in folders. At least sequences are lower than folders. Does this bug anyone else? I lost many minutes trying to figure this out. Why would they change this? 

After a lot of tries i got Creative Cloud downloaded again and installed premiere pro to do some video editting, however after i did a new problem arose. All the mp4 files i try to open comes with an error message.Yesterday i had no problem with my files but creative cloud or Premiere pro made this happen. Anyone know how to fix this (I tried youtube but its just alot of dodgy vids that have bad reviews)

Hi, i recently updated to Premiere Pro 25.1 on 6 Dec 2024.Ok, now Essential Graphics has been renamed to Graphic Templates... and now all Text editing is done in the "Effect Controls Tab"... under the "Graphic Parameters" tab... or the Window Tab "Properties" manually... no worries... (info links below).... BUT.....(in the first attached image)... I have 1 Text box selected in the Timeline...I can change the Font either in the "Effect Controls Tab" or the Window Tab "Properties" manually... but theProblem is I have 3 other different Fonts in the other 37 text boxes inside the Video 2 and Video 3 timeline,and Want To Change the 3 different Fonts all at once... BUT... the "REPLACE FONTS IN PROJECT" under the "GRAPHICS AND TITLES" tab only displays the 1 Font i want to change to... I cant select and replace the other Fonts because simply they are NOT LISTED in the "Replace Fonts in Project"  😞As stated in the following link:"Whats Changed in Premiere Pro 2025With the 202

Since a few days ago, Premiere Pro has been crashing on launch. It opens to the splash page and then crashes before the full program opens. The specific process it crashes on changes every time. After about 10 seconds, the Error Report window appears, and when I close that window it closes the program. All other processes run completely fine during this time. What I've tried so far: Installed latest Windows updateInstalled latest graphics driver (NVIDIA Studio Driver 537.58)Updated Creative CloudUninstalled and reinstalled Premiere Pro (3 times)Updated Premiere Pro (to Premiere Pro 2024 when it became available - issues started before update)Installed previous version of Premiere ProCleared media cacheReset preferencesReset plugin loading cacheDisabled third-party plugins on launchMoved plugins from their folder on C:Uninstalled any apps I'd installed since Premiere Pro last worked (EA app and Sims 4 if that's helpful) I've also reinstalled (and now updated) After Effect

Where are the Premier Pro custom export presets stored?   These are the files created when you create/modify an export setting and save it under a new name. They used to be located at C:\Users\Mark\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Pro\6.0\Presets but I don't see them there.  I want to back up these presets I customized, and be able to find them to import on another machine.
