Does anyone know why changing the display gamma to 1.96 QuickTime doesn't change anything in the video? Only in the timeline panel it changes correctly, in the thumbnails.

Hey guys, I need help with a wierd zoom bug in premiere. When the letter key 'A' is assigned a shortcut, it affects the zoom on my timeline. My timeline zooms in everytime a clip is dragged. I've uploaded a video to better explain what I mean. Can anybody help? Thanks

Hi, I create an AE template that i will be using in premiere. Its a text, that changes color every 5 fps, simpel stuff. I used "Fill color" to change the color of the text. When I export the AE as morgz file, everything goes well until i import it into Premiere. Once its in premiere, the strange thing that happens is that, the color change every 2-3 fps, which is not what i did in AE. What am i doing wrong? or why is the morgz file acting like that? M1 pro mac16gb ram Premiere 24.2.1 build 2AE 23.6.2 (build 5)

Hoping somebody can help. After the latest update to Premiere Pro I am now having problems with Gotham font. It's possible other fonts are acting funny but Gotham is the one that I need. I don't believe it (the font) is installed incorrectly for several reasons, the first is that it works fine on Photoshop (see attachment) and After Effects 2025, the second is that for years it's worked fine in Premiere. At the moment I opened a previous project that I used the font in and copied it into the new project. It is letting me edit the text but you can see in the screen shot the font name is blank and it simply says "Medium" underneath.  The other screen shot is what I'm seeing, it's like Premiere is only finding versions of Gotham and not the "root" Gotham font. It used to display like Photoshop is currently displaying. I'm at a loss, anybody have thoughts? This is the official font for the company so though minor, it's really frustrating. Thanks.

Series of black vertical lines when inserting graphical contents, even using Green Screen.Before rendering in the timeline, when the red color is in the top of the sequence in the time line it seems fine but, after pressing enter key and render, or exported the line appears.Updating the Nvidia driver seems to be the solution.

Media Browser does not show thumbs of video files ( R3D - Red Camera Files).     It used to work very well. I could visualize all files in the Media Browser File, so I could choose and import. Now I have to click on each one to see what is in the file.Is anyone having this  same problem? ( Working with a 2024 MacbookPro and Premiere Pro 2024)Thanks!  

i reinstalled mutiple times, mutiple versions. updated my drivers. its driving me insane. i have a dmp file but it wont let me upload it here for some reason.

When I select Change Audio Channel in Premiere Pro, I can't move past the Change Clip screen that appears afterwards (I can't press the OK button, etc.)

Hello! I'm brand new to Premiere Pro - I'm actually spending my day today learning the program.  I am getting this warning -- see attached.  Again, I'm a total noob so any help I'd appreciate it! I am on Windows, and using Premiere Pro version 25.1.0 (build 73) 

I can´t search in my proyecto window, i type any word but isn´t work.... also is sooo slow this new version!, the preview, the timeline, all is very slow, crash several times. 😞

Hello, I am fairly new to premiere and whenever I import clips the audio tracks are split into 2 different colors. Is there any way to fix this? 

  I understand how to use the bottom line, but I’m not really understanding how the top line works. When I mess with the keyframes’ angles using the top bar it seems to affect the bottom bar really randomly, there seems to be no correlation between the two.

Hi guys, During the time of Covid-19 there was been a big request to be working from home. With that in mind, I'm trying to find the best way to output just my program monitor to clients and have a complete live conversation with them and to change the workflow to be completely remote instead of clients being in my edit suite. I've tried using Youtube live and OBS which I was kicked off of due to copyright issues on music (even though this has been the best option thus far). I tried Zoom which didn't have the best playback for both audio and video. Frame.io is great in terms of working off links but if we really want to work remotely live, are there better solutions to this? Does Vimeo Pro work better for others or if there's any other websites that better fit this situation, I would love to hear about your remote workflows. Thank you in advance.

I have used Premiere for 5 years now and been used to using the Metadata Panel to change the Camera Angle or Camera Label of multiple clips when they're all selected in the Project Panel.  Yesterday, I needed this function for the first time in PP 14.3.2.  It's the first time I've tried to use it at all in PP 14 and both options just aren't there. They used to be found unfer the Dynamic Media heading but I can't find either option to then change the CA or CL of multiple clips using the Metadata Panel. Have those options been removed?  They still exist as column headings in Metadata Display in the Project Panel so my guess is they're still around?  The only issue is I can't modify the CL or CA of multiple clips purely in the Project Panel so it takes a lot of time to select each clip individually to alter the field (something I have done but didn't enjoy doing). Any help you could give me locating the CA and CL fields in the Metadata Panel would be muc

Every two or three times that I click on an audio clip in the timeline, the Clip FX Editor - Multiband Compressor window opens right in front of what I'm doing. All the clips have the multi band compressor applied. I have to close the window every time so that I can make the edits I want. It's driving me mad. Anyone have a solution?

This has been a problem since mid 2023 after an update . My PC with multiple GPUs(2 GTX Titan X in SLI) cannot export RED footage without looking corrupted like a glitchy/broken nintendo game (image attached). In order to work, I have to disable SLI in Nvidia Control Panel then go to device manager and disable one GPU every time I need to export anything with RED footage. I have since spoken to adobe about this alarming issue and was told that the engineering team will be notified. Still no changes/fixes have been made and it is detrimental workstations with multiple GPUs that also do VFX/3D work.It is ridiculous that the competing software with a one time payment to ownership has incredible GPU and CPU utilization, making workflow and and exporting exponentially faster and bug free for any workstation compared to adobe. With an over 10 year old code, and bloating it with more and more features

On Premiere Pro 25.1 when zooming out to a smaller scale, very short clips on the timeline completely disappear. In previous versions, even the shortest clips were represented by at least a one-pixel vertical line, ensuring visibility even at wide zoom levels. This small but critical visual indicator helped identify any leftover edits or fragments on the timeline, reducing the risk of accidental oversight. The new behavior—where clips become entirely invisible—poses a serious risk: unnoticed remnants on hidden levels could easily lead to errors in final exports. I’ve attached a screencap to illustrate the issue.

I have various keywords and labels in premiere's description section, though project and search bins don't search the description field. I can successfully produce results when using the find command+F, but it does not work with project or search bins. This is unfortunate, because the find command only searches one item at a time. Search bins and project search are nice because it puts all the search results in the same place.Is premiere not able to do this? It seems pretty straight forward. Thanks

The Display Field... option in the settings of the programme negatively affects the output of interlaced footage when applying an effect on the video tracks. Taking multiple cameras (all 1080i50), group them into muli-cam sequence.Place on 1080i50 sequence and above place a 1080i50 fill then 1080i50 matte on v3.Use a Track Matte effect on the fill clip (set to matte on V3 and using Luma for cutout) to key the graphic over the multicam sequence.Now adjust the Display Field setting to First Field. This will play fine.Now adjust the same setting to either Second Field or Both Fields. Now the background will display field judder. Rendering doesn't fix it and I've seen this in 2024 and 2025 Premiere Pro. If a non-multicam clip is used on V1 for the background then the composite will play correctly using any of the above settings.

Hello, I have about 150 clips from 1 camera with scratch audio and audio from recorder Zoom F3: 7 files x 2,5 hours. This was a wedding.  I have really issue to sync this automatically. I tried: Create Multicam source sequence with audio set to auio track channel 1,2 and mix down I have every time error: could not sync one or more clips in the current selection because a match could not be found.   Please let me kow which solution can i ty because I dont want to sync all clips manually...  best regardspeter

So I've been always editing masks in Premiere Pro, and the easiest way to zoom in and out (and also moving) was by my scroll in the mouse + sometime alt - But now if I try to move my scroll, it doesn't zoom but it scrolls the timeline.

I'm trying to set up a workflow with an AE where I give them a hard drive with proxies and have them create multigroups. When they go to change the camera label, the change doesn't stick. I don't know how they can make multigroups if we can't change the camera label. This is happening both with proxies I made through premiere as well as proxies that were made in the field. Please help!

I have the Adobe 2024 suite, and Premiere Pro And Adobe media encoder wouldn’t start for me. Previously, it used to open normally, so I decided to update the entire suite to 2025 to see if it was an update issue, but nothing changed. I even installed Premiere Pro on a different hard drive, separate from the other programs, and it still won’t load or open. Suddenly, it just stopped working, and I don’t know why. I’ve updated the Windows drivers and the NVIDIA drivers again, but nothing. It’s strange because all the other Adobe programs work perfectly, but Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder are the only ones that won’t open. I don’t know what’s causing this. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be very helpful.

I am using Sequoia 15.1.1 on my 2024 MacBook pro with the M3 chip. Never had an issue with premire until the update to 25.0. Now I have to hold down the shift key for premier to open. Saw the update to 25.1 and tried that and premire would not open up at all, went back to 25.0. Is the M3 chip the issue on my apple device?
