After creating a nested version of 3 video tracks, I want to be able to put play head on nested sequence and, upon returning to the original (master multitrack sequence) have the play head at the same point. Any way to dynamically sync the play head in two sequences that are "parent and children"?

Hello,I encounter this message when I try to open a Premiere project: "The project appears to be damaged, it cannot be opened."My external hard drive, which I was working on, fell and stopped working. I managed to recover the files from it, but when I try to open the project, I get this error message: "The project appears to be damaged, it cannot be opened." Is there a solution to this problem?

Hey there. I am having this really annoying issue with Premiere Pro 2024, where when I try to change to change the size of, or move around a transition of some sort on an audio or video file, I find it very difficult to grab the transition and drag it around. I almost always end up moving the clip, instead of the transition.Only the most recent update in Premiere that has added updates and changes with how audio mixing works, has this become an issue.I am not sure if this is a problem with my computer? Hello everyone I finished my full length film, and I want to export my omf using pp 2019, for the sound mixing process. It's a professionnal emergency😶 Software seems to start computing but in the end stops responding, and one time there was an empty file as a result of the export.. Tried different presets, and also exporting small parts of the project, no change... Any fresh ideas welcome ! 

I'm trying to transcribe around 100 video files (around 2h per clip) inside premiere to edit in a text-base mode. I select the clips, click on transcribe and let it do its magic. Every time i do this and leave the computer on its own, it ends rebooting itself. I've watched why and it demands 70GB of RAM at some points (wich i don't have). I'm using a M1 Pro with 32 GB of RAM. Any solution to make the transcriptions sequentially and not all at the same time (the process, since I want to leave the computer alone). Thanks

I've noticed this bug on occasion in previous premiere versions but usually a restart fixed the issue. Now, I'm working with Premiere 25 and when I go to import an audio file, there's no waveform and therefore no sound. I tried changing the name of the file and that worked on one file but not the others. I'm attaching a screen recording to demonstrate the issue. These are just normal mp3 files I've used in previous projects.

I want to create text for my video. When the speaker speaks, it gets highlighted, but I need the next full line on the screen.How can we do it quickly?

Hello, I just downloaded 25.1, and am having a hard time quickly seeing cuts on the timeline (see attached).  I understand clips were change to rounded corners, but it also appears the  highlight line that marked a cut and differentiated betweent two clips is also now gone.  Is there an option to bring that back?  I poked around settings and didn't see it. Brightening the clips makes it slightly easier to see, but then it activates the reverse waveform UI for audio, which I don't want.  Thanks. 

Hey! Does Premiere Productions work best if we are using the same version of the app? I'm using v 25.0 and Productions wants to convert the project for me. Will this cause any issues? Thanks!

Hi all!I'm trying to replace our mogrt templates using text-linked styles to make it easier for our editors to apply our clients' approved fonts/colors/styles, but I ran into this issue that's driving me crazy. When I toggle on the background on the Essential Graphics panel, the background has more space on the bottom and looks off. I can't find a way to adjust it to make it centered.    Needless to say, I can't use any random fonts since each client has its brand-approved ones. This makes the text-linked style feature useless for my use case. I'm trying to avoid using mogrts as much as possible since they slow down our editor's systems unnecessarily. Any recommendations? Thanks for your help. Mario

Premier Pro freezes whenever I add the warp stabilizer to a clip and then go into the effects panel to change it from subspace to anything else. Today, it just restarted my entire computer. Before, I would have to close the program, hoping it saved my current edits.  My computer is a Mac Mini 3.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 with 64GB 2667 MHz DDR4. I haven't upgraded the graphics card, so I understand I must run at 1/4 or 1/2 often instead of Full. 

I need to transfer my project from Premiere for coloring in Davinci resolve. Unfortuantely the speed adjustments applied to particular clips are not captured in the XML file that is generated, and therefore they are not applied correctly in the edit inside of DR.  I'm trying to find a straight foward way to "bake" the speed adjustments into these clips, without going through a repeating process of setting in/out points and rendering each section of the sequence. I have tried "render and replace" with little success, which was what I had hoped would work. Each clip has the speed adjusted via the Speed/Duration setting. I'll select render and replace and the clip reimports, and then reapplies the effect, so it is basically ignoring the clip based setting. It does note that time-remapping doesn't apply to clips either, so I didn't try that approach. Appreciate any suggestions that might streamline this process....  Thanks! 

Hello, Today (using the new update v 25.0) Premiere started to reset/revert the eq and audio settings back to default directly after applying them. I can even see the sliders jump back in real time. I change the EQ on a clip - it jumps back to default settings. I realised this after working on several clips where all needed seperate EQ. Some times the presets can't even be changed - I click change from default to some other preset and nothing happens more than the title of the preset changing. Moving sliders doesn't affect audio. What I'm working with specifically is Graphic Equalizer (20-band) and Parametric Equalizer but I suspect this applies to all other audio settings as well - de-esser, denoise and so on. I've tried opening everything in a new project and tried working with other projects but the same thing keeps happening. Would love if this could be addressed since it's a major issue - unless I'm missing something of course. I've never experienced the problem before w

I've been using Premiere Pro the entire year, then yesterday, all of a sudden, my insanely powerful computer can't playback without freezing constantly. I've tried reducing the quality of the playback on other project and it didn't work. The video is always extremely choppy now. But, now I can't even change the quality of the playback because it's stuck on Full quality. What's going on?

Is there a way to map a mouse scrolling to moving one frame back or forward?

Hey, I'm using the newest version of Premiere Pro 25.0 and they changed the place of where you can edit / outline the text. But I can't seem to find the outline button anywhere.. Is there anyone who can explain me where this button is placed now?

Whenever I try to use the type tool and start typing, Premiere will go to the hotkey/shortcut while I try to type.I've noticed that it has been happening for a while, and it is really getting annoying to have to restart the program every time this bug occurs.  I couldn't even type in the text box, I had the text tool selected, double clicked to re-write something and it wouldn't allow me to select the text at all. As well as this, if I want to add space and press the space bar while in the text box, it will play the video.Version of the app: 24.4.1MacBook Pro, Chip Apple M3 Yes, I uninstalled and installed the app, but at this stage, I don't even remember which version this bug didn't occur. 

I am no longer able to open older projects with v 25.0. When I try to open an older project that was created in v24 or earlier, PP 25.0 goes through the standard on-screen process of creating a new project file that is compatible with v25.0. However, after going through the process, it doesn't actually create the updated project file.  It simply does nothing and returns me to the regular opening screen.  In other words, when I try to open any older version project, the end result is that an updated project file is not created and the program acts as if nothing happened.  It's impossible for me to open any previous programs. I'm running OS 14.6.1 on a Mac Studio

Hi there!I have a bunch of multicam clips, and every time I try to flatten them, Premiere crashes.The same thing happens when I try to export an AAF. If the sequence contains multicam audio/video, Premiere crashes.It also crashes when I simplify the sequence and try to flatten the multicam.This issue persists across all versions of Premiere Pro, from 2020 to 2025, whenever I attempt to flatten a multicam sequence.Any ideas on how to fix this?

When playing or scrubbing the playhead along the Time Line the video shows perfectly. When the playhead stops, I get a pixelated image which makes it impossible to add text overlays, synch videos... well everything.  It was working normailly, I clicked into a Finder Window and when I came back to the program I get this weird screen. If I douple click on a clip not in my time line, the Source window shows the same thing. I have restarted the program, empltied my Cache, restarted the computer and nothing seems to fix it.  I have even deleted the clips from the project and reimported them. Does anyone have a FIX for this? please? I am using Adobe Premiere Pro v22.0. For a long time (may be half of year) with all latest updated of  Windows 10, Nvidia studio drivers and Premiere Pro I have the same problem. If I'm switching from Premiere to another window (like pressing Alt+Tab) once my system is freezing for about a minute, not responding. Then screen blinks and Premiere is closing. I don't see any special messages about why it's closing. But if I go to Windows Event Viewer I see "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."The way how this happened is very specific. I don't have any crashes with other programs or tests of system stability and video card. This crash only could be if I work in Premiere then switch to other window like Firefox or After Effects. Not everytime when I'm switching to another window I get this crash. But because I work in Premiere and After Effects at one project and I need to switch many times and once (for example every 30 minutes of work) I have this crash.My video card is RTX 2080 T
