Questions

Just installed the newest version (25) of Premiere Pro. and created a new work project. The project will not export and almost immediately shows an error message: "Error compiling move. Accelerated Renderer Error. Unable to produce frame." It also shows some other specific info regarding when the error occurs. The error code shown is: -1609629695. Any ideas? I tried to install the previous version to see if I could export it, but because the new project had been created in v25, v24 would not read it. This is not good. This is a work project that I need to render and am now stuck. Thanks, in advance.

My team has been seriously considering switching to Davinci because of these things:1. Switching across different workspaces has become a nightmare especially when 4K sequences are active.2. Toggling proxy's on or off straight up freezes Premiere.3. The Lumetri Scopes are always glitchy showing the wrong frame until you hit play and wait a few seconds.4. Files with a .MXF container have the wrong gama in Windows machines and also are very hard to play.We have a variety of PCs and laptops ranging from i7 12700k 64GB RAM, 3060 12GB ,and fast NVME SSDs to 16inch MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro chip 16GB memory and these issues are all the same.Our PC's may not be top tear but when inspecting the activity monitor while these glitches occur it seems that nothing is a bottleneck, and we are afraid to invest in better machines only to be limited by these performance issues again so switching to Davinci looks like the best option.Has anyone else experienced these issues? Ps: We primarily work

Hi,I found some glitches after rendering the PR file, which is not in the PR sequence.Please have a look into it and fix the issue globally. The newer version is not well optimized. This is also affecting our productivity, hope u understand. Thank you.

HelloI've recently started some editing projects that will ultimately end up on DVDs and Blu Rays. These projects typically consist of interviews and film footage. Sometimes, the frame rates of these rushes differ. I've used Premiere for many years and have frequently used mixed frame rates in my timeline. Almost always, nothing ever looks odd or jerky - and, after doing some research online, I believe this is because Premiere conforms all clips to match the sequence frame rates? Despite never noticing any errors, I have now had feedback that sometimes the film clips I use in these interviews are out of sync. However, everything seemed fine in the timeline and when I re-watched the exported file. For example, I'm currently editing an interview that was filmed in 29.97. I've used that clip to set my sequence settings. I've dropped in some film clips that are encoded at 24fps. Everything looks and sounds fine. The exported file plays without a problem as well. Hello, Since I updated to the last version of Premiere Pro 25.0, and After Effects 25.0, I cannot import After Effects comps into Premiere, I get to choose the comp, and when I click ok, the loading panel shows up but it never process the import. It doesn't show any error, it just stays empty until I cancel.  I'm using a Windows 11 pro, with these specs:Device name DESKTOP-9A1PTH7Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHzInstalled RAM 64.0 GB (63.7 GB usable)System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorIs this happening to anyone else, is there a fix for that yet?  

Export frame is still using proxies , please fix this bug soon 

I'm half way through a project. Yesterday I was able to edit in Audition and transcribe for captions. Today the edit in Audition is greyed out and most clips remain unsubscribed.I'm on a deadline, this is not OK. 

Just updated to version 25.0 and captions and editing text styles not working Usually you can edit the text style in the Effect Controls tab, and on this new version it is blank, no controls showing up. I'm using a MacBook M2 Max

Whenever I try to create proxies from Premiere (from importing from Media Browser or from footage already in the project), Premiere will crash.  Media encoder will open, but the job doesn't transfer over and Premiere fails.  Have tried multiple proxy encoding settings on multiple footage types and results are always the same. I am new to Premiere Pro having switched over from Vegas and this is simply confusing me to no end.I have set up a custom sequence for 1080p resolution. I go and import various clips I would like to use, but when the clips are imported, and I right click on them and click on properties it tells me these clips are 1280x720, despite that when I play the clip in a media player, it tells me it's 1080p.So why is there seemingly an automatic downscale being done by PP? When I add the video onto the timeline it tells me that the clip does not match the sequence's settings. No clue why it does this or what I am doing wrong. Please help!

Hi,  I'm having an issue with version 24.6.1 where occasionally, Premiere will shut down unexpectedly. This appears to be happening on multiple projects, and it's pretty random - I've not been able to reproduce this effect by doing any one specific thing, but it happens fairly consistently while I'm working on the machine - sometimes it'll be after a few minutes, sometimes it'll let me work for 20 before dying. Premiere will let me reload the project I was previously working on okay, and I can keep working, although obviously any changes made between the last save point and the crash will be lost. I originally thought it might have something to do with the BlackMagic box I'm using to output to a preview monitor with the Mercury Transmit function, however disabling that doesn't seem to have solved the problem.  I've also tried clearing the cashe, resetting settings and changing video playback to software only mode and reinstalling Premiere Pro without any luck so far

Is there a kind of Notepad in Premiere Pro where you can write text notes for the current project?

I updated to the latest Adobe Premiere Pro version. Upon installation, it opened up at the same time after download (where I had edited as well). However, now one day later, I am unable to open the new version which essentially means I have lost all my latest editing under new version. It opens up the old, and then when I attempt to open up my new project file (which got renamed after new version was implemented), then it says it cannot open  file because it belongs to a newer version!I cannot find this new version anywhere. I have opened the app several times, and only the old version is seen. Can anyone help?

I have spreadsheet (csv file) driven mogrt files that used to work fine in Premiere Pro 2024.  In 2025, with the removal of the Essential Graphics panel, now everything is crammed into the Effect Controls panel.  However, I don't see a place where I can drag and drop or select the spreadsheet/csv file to populate the mogrt.  I also don't see where you can manually update the spreadsheet data. How do you do this in Premiere Pro 2025?  I tried re-saving the mogrt in After Effects 2025 and doesn't seem to do anything.

Hi, after it wasn't possible anymore to doubleclick in the program monitor and adjust Scale and Position of a Clip I used "activate direct manipulation in program monitor" a lot. In Premiere 25 this Shortcut is not there... Does anybody know if it has another name or know another fast work shortcut instead of always going to motion or properties?Best!

Hello. After the last update - v25 - I have a problem with the display quality on the timeline preview. The preview of the original clips is fine. Switching to full quality, 1/2 quality or 1/4 quality doesn't help either. I have the option "High quality playback" checked in the settings. Any advice? Thank you

I changed my default (Open with) application from Premiere Pro Beta to the release version and now all my project files look like this. How can I fix this? 

Hi everyone,I have updated premiere pro to the 2017 release. After that, the icon of the file project (prproj) is the same as that of premiere application. I have tried to reinstall the program but nothing changed.How can I restart the default icon of the project?
