I am working in Premiere Pro and trying to render a number of projects. For some of them, I bounce it to Media Encoder and it renders the audio files in a few seconds and renders everything else very quickly. This was the norm for the last year on my computer. Now for others, it takes an absurd amount of time to render the audio files - on the order of maybe 5-10 times longer than the video files. For a few files, Media Encoder failed to export them. I tried exporting from Premiere directly and it managed to work, but still took a huge amount of time to render the audio.I'm exporting to H.264 1920x1080p, 23.976 fps, VBR 2 Pass, 10 Mbps. A 5 minute video usually takes 4-6 minutes to render. Now it takes 15-30 minutes to load the audio. This is before the progress bar even appears. And then it renders as usual. What's going on? Why does it take so long to process that audio? This is a huge time waster.
Hi, a couple of days ago I posted a message about the Write-On effect being insanely slow in Premiere Pro 2023.6. I was told this effect did not support GPU acceleration and was absolete (though this does not explain why it used to work perfectly on a Core-i7 4770 plus 32 gigs of ram and a 6-gig GTX 1060 in Premiere 2019 and cannot work in Premiere 2023 on a 13700-4080-64Gb plus SSD).Ok, right now I'm working on a video comprising 4k training footage plus on-screen explanatory messages. It is literally a 4k footage on one track and from 1 to 7 text layers created via the text tool above. No effects, no color correction., nothing. By the way the video specs:Type: MPEG Movie File Size: 607,57 MBImage Size: 3840 x 2160Frame Rate: 60,00Source Audio Format: 44100 Hz - Compressed - StereoProject Audio Format: 44100 Hz - 32 bit floating point - StereoTotal Duration: 00:01:40:32Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1,0Alpha: NoneColor Space: Rec. 2100 HLGColor Space Override: Rec. 2100 HLG (Scene)Input LUT
Hi,I'm just starting to use Adobe Premiere Pro 2023 after having used Adobe Audition for several years for Podcasting quite well. I have a major question that I hope someone can help me with: If I want to edit a video I've recorded, say, in Quick TIme on my Mac and then opened in Premiere Pro to fix the sound quality of the video can I:1) Export that video file into my copy of Audition to clean up any mouth clicks and stray noises and to enchance the audio quality (which Audition does quite well!) and then2) Import the cleaned up file back into Premiere Pro 2023? Also: what file names should I use (mp3. mp4?)I appreciate any help I can get on this. Being able to use Audition with Premiere Pro is part of why I've subscribed to Premiere Pro. Thanks for your help.
Opa pessoal, espero que estejam todos bem. Formatei meu PC esses dias e reinstalei o Premier.
As I edit, I sometimes find that I'm wasting time trying to accomplish something that should be simple... Today for example, I'm working on a complicated sequence with multiple video and audio tracks and found that I wanted to jump to a specific cut point on a track which was not enabled in the patch panel... turning tracks on and off every few minutes is a pain. I thought there should be a shortcut for this... and maybe there was one. I opened the keyboard shortcuts and searched for "snap." And there was "snap all." so I mapped it to a keyboard combo and thought I'd share this epiphany...
The last update screwed up in that when you moved down the timeline, it didn't automatically select the clip you were hovering over. By that I mean if you have 10 clips on the timeline and scrub down from 1 to 5, in the past Premiere would automatically highlight the clip you were at. But it was broken and remained highlighting the first clip.I was waiting hoping a new update would fix that, but alas it did not. This was a crucial feature, especially for color correcting/grading. This needs to be fixed asap.
I am using Adobe premiere pro Beta version, but whenever I import videos from project panel to timeline panel, the clip becomes disabled. It cannot be selected, it cannot be moved, it cannot be edited, it cannot be seen through the program panel. I have some urgent works to do, so please help me out. I have paid the due amounts also. Also please download the video i have attached and go through it.
Hello! I am currently working on a production with several projects, one of which contains all the footage, while the others have different sequences. However, in the metadata tab under "media usage" in one project, it doesn't show how many times the clip is being used throughout the entire production. Does anyone know if it is possible to reliably check the media usage for a clip in a situation like this? Thanks!!
Hello I do not know Premiere Pro and am really struggling. I figured out how to make a time lapse from my 50 images, and add a song to it, but when i export it, the video is black with no sounds. I have attached an image of my video with song, my export window, and a picture of the black video. HELP! Thanks, Greg
Currently quite new to using both pieces of software - I'm trying to grab a file, either a save or an export, from After effects into Premiere. I've googled around, but I can't find anyone with a similar problem with it being an AE file. Just looking for some advice on what to do.
Hey guys! please help! if someone know this! when i configure an video to export on adobe premiere, shows me 5GB file size for example, then when i queue it to adobe media encoder, when finishes the file size is double, like 10gb. Someone know how can i make adobe premiere and media encoder have similar file sizes when export? sorry about my english! thanks!!
I shoot with a Sony A7s3. I create proxies in camera. Attaching these proxies automatically with the check box of Media Start has always worked perfectly. However...I just upgraded to V22 of PREMIER. it now forces me to link each clip individually. With hunders of clips to link this is a problem. The media start checkbox or any of the other checkboxes no longer connects my clips automatically. Any ideas?
Whenever I drag from a different pannel to the timeline, the media won't play. It just stays highlited in the timeline and doesn't show it's playing in the program panel.
I use Premiere Pro Versoin 24.6.1 Build 2 on WindowsI encountered a bug, that seems to be here since the latest update...I used to press AltGr and move cuts with my mouse... end depending if I wanted to move the video OR the audio, i could do just that.. but since the latest Update, the Clips are linked as soon as I try to do that...when I ACTIVATE the "Link Selection" Button, the Clips are linked, and I can move them together, by just grabbing one of them, BUT the cut moving is now unlinked.... When I go to the settings under "edit" and check the first box, which enables to move cuts without pressing the modificator key (AltGR in my case) the Bug goes away and if it is linkd, its linked, if not, then not... but I want to use the modificator button...
New to Premiere Pro, Avid User. Hey Guys, I'm still new to premeire pro and I was following a youtube video on how to get my source window media sequence up. The video kept telling me to click on the wrench however when I do click on the wrench icon to select "Open Sequence in Timeline" button this is greyed out? Not sure how to get this button active? I'm editing audio only so no clips are loaded and currently there is audio loaded in the Source Window. Am I missing something here? To report a bug, please provide: Version of the app - 24.6.1 Platform and OS version - Macbook Pro Ventura 13.0.1
I have a 8 minute video, I cut out 90 % of it and ultimate had 26 sections of clipped videos of varying lengths from 1 second to 3 seconds. I want to take the clipped video segments and make the all 2 seconds long. I highlight them all and adjust the duration. However, on the clips that are 1 second long it brings back part of the video I clipped off - I don't want that to occur. I just want the 1 second clipped video to slow down to 2 seconds and the 3 second clipped video to speed up to 2 seconds (that part works great). I have tried to search for an ansser - I can't find it. Newer to Premier Pro - thanks for any help.

Je vous remercie beaucoup __________________________Hi everyone, I have a short film projet that was mixed in 5.1 in ProTools. Hi,The auto correct button is not working in Lumetri Color (I can still change settings manually), has anyone had this problem before or know how to fix it?I have already tried resetting the workspace multiple times. Thank you in advance.
Hi,Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm trying to drag Mogrt to my timeline so I can edit but unable to. Thanks,CK
I have footage from both a GoPro Hero 11 (.mp4) and an iPhone 15 (.mov). I imported them in a brand new project, on my hard drive, not an external drive. If I play them in the source monitor, I have sound. I set in/out and drag that segment into a sequence, and sound is still there. If I set in/out on a different part of the same file and drag it into the same sequence, there's no sound with that. No audio track for the new bit. The audio track for the first segment is still there. This is not something I've encountered before - I've been doing this kind of workflow without issues before. I've done some searching and the solutions I've seen is to delete the sequence and start a new one. Which is working as long as I don't try to add new footage to an existing sequence. There's got to be a fix for this, otherwise it makes Premiere Pro utterly unusable. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Premire Pro 24.6.1MacOS Sequoia 15.0
Hi All: I'm just wondering if any of you have suggestions for how to possibly color correct a shot better than what I'm doing. We shot in front of big glass windows that were bright. We did not use LOG (trying to remember why, but it didn't happen!!). I've attached three shots. Camera 1 was on a tripod, so here I didn't have too much trouble. I did four masks for each of the window panes within Lumetri and then brought the exposure down. But with the moving dolly shot, I don't really know what to do. Do I do a tracking mask of some kind? But on what? The four panes of the window? Feels like that's going to get real messy...have to adjust every 2-3 frames on each of the panes. Anyway, you can see in this short clip that in addition to the windows being hot, he's also a bit silhouetted. I've done some light correction, bringing down highlights primarily. Appreciate any suggestions! https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/1012961745/977d36dc1f
