Questions

I know how to split an image to two parts. Masking one of them and duplicating. Inverting the mask of duplicated one and done. But i couldn't figured it out how to split to three or four or five... Hey all.  I'm a bit confused.  I'm trying to organize all my projects into a single panel, yet when I click on them in my productions panel Premiere *sometimes* puts them into one of my panels (in my case the lower left) and *sometimes* puts them into the upper panel i've got that shows my Source: content. I'm wanting to set it so that when I click on a project it opens consistently in the SAME panel set.  Having them appear as tabs in different panels makes no sense. Help? 

Since upgrading to version 22.3.1 (Build 2) I am unable to drag and dock my Audio Meter into my layout. No matter where I drag it to, I never get the blue prompt to dock. Any thoughts please? 

Happens in larger projects. Shortly after I start typing into the search bar, it gets deselected and I have to reselect to finish writing the phrase.Been appening for as long as I can remember. Intel and silicon. Currently on 23.6.0 on macOS 13.5.It's really annoying. Please fix!

I've been using the voice over function in the past, but yesterday when I went to use it, I noticed that it is grayed out. I rebooted PP and my PC, to no avail. Today, the same thing. What is the issue and how can I fix it?

There is a sudden white flash (0.1secs) in the mograph animation that i inserted from essential graphics.  The saturation suddenly goes up Where as, this is the actual color 

I have a problem where the colors are not displaying corectly in the program monitor. My version or Pr is 24.6.0 and I am on a macbook pro M3 Max 14 inch with macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 It is most noticable when a clips obacity is changed and there is nothing under it. The blacks become washed out and lifted. If i render a preview it will display the corect color. Attached is a side by side view of a clip the left side of the clip is the colors on export and when I render a preview the right side is what I see while im trying to color grade (I edited these two scren shots in photosshop to show the color difrenc side by side). The clip is at 60% opasity at the screen shot. The clip starts out at 100% opacity and then dips to 60% as the text apears. It's also worth noting that there is nothing under this clip like black video or black solid. There was a time when I Alt-clicked a Marker it splt and I was able to expande tume mark and add a title but it has stopped doing that. I can't understand why that shortcut would just stop working.I thought it might be something to do with Keyboard Shortcuts but Alt-click isn't a command I found.I can't even get the Marker to open when I dc it.

Hi guys,  Wonder if You could help.  I recently reinstalled my windows 11 , and all my apps this including premier pro. Since i did that everytime when im holding mouse button and trying to stratch on my timeline camera its changing leyout, and synchronised cameras losing they correct position on the screen. Hard to explain this, but can anyone help with this? Im attaching short video to explain my problem.

Hi there! Hoping someone can steer me in the right direction. We recently filmed on a white screen so that we can overlap the speaker onto white ppt slides for a lecture. I received the footage in 4k CRM raw files and have to use a LUT to take it from the raw image to the color corrected image. I'm running into the issue where no matter the LUT or color changes I make, I cannot get the image to the natural looking and bright white backgorund. I feel like I'm close, but could anyone help me figure out what I'm missing?

One of our producers just captioned his sequence.  He had an In point set at timecode 0:03:53 (start of video was at the In point).  His Out point was at the end of his project.  He captioned it and sent engineering the video and sidecar caption files. When it was tested, the captions did not show up until 3 minutes and 53 seconds into the video.  Is there a setting in Premiere where the caption timecode can start at 0:00:00 even when an In point further in the timeline is set? Also some of our producers edit multiple videos in a timeline with In and Out Points.  Can multiple files be captioned at a time? Thanks

I have a very basic 1:00 min. video that just has some very basic 3 seconds of titles in the beginning. I inserted a basic shape and drew a rectangle to act as a background for another layer of text over top. The weirdest thing is happening. When I play the video within Adobe Premiere, I see the rectangle background fine. But when I export the final project... it does not appear. I have checked that the video track is 'visable' and the actual clip itself has "enabled" checked. So... I can't imagine what might be the cause of having this one rectangle not show up in the final 1080 HD export .mp4.  **UPDATE: I figured out that I had set the opacity of this rectangle to 33% so it did look very light in color. While it was meant to be subtle, I didn't mean for it to not show up at all. Is there any kind of bug documentation or best-practices about opacity and shapes not showing up?

Hi!   I am having great difficulty with constant popping noises throughout my video. The popping is not happing during transitions from one clip/edit to the next but in the middle of clip. I have linked the video so you can see what I mean. I'm editing a caption video. I'm deleting sentences in a transcript. I pressed delete, but it didn't work. I even tried right clicking and pressing delete, but to no avail. The option is available, but for some reason, it doesn't let me delete or cut.  When I press the delete button on my keyboard or on the right click menu, the menu closes and nothing happens.

I use the "replace footage" often for audio tracks. It usually works quite well!I have two stereo wav files: an original and an updated version. When I try the "replace footage" this time, it imports with only the left channel with audio and the right is muted. Why? Premiere Pro 24.6.1MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1

My editing partner and I are currently trying to efficiently comb through hours of footage from a wedding we shot by using metadata to tag things about our clips such as the names of people within them. We successfully figured out how to transfer the schema between our computers (because that proved to be tricky at first until we found the correct pathway for locating those presets) but now we are not able to tick a box, for instance, the bride, on one machine, and transfer the updated project file to another and see that same box ticked.  Is there a way to export just the individual metadata from each clip without exporting the video and audio along with it? We want to be able to send the clip metadata files across two computers and relink that data back to the same footage. Example: if a video contains the bride at first, and then the camera pans to see the maid of honor, how can I export my edited metadata so that she can see at a glance who is in that video?  I'm new to the this community, and I've been editing video for a long time. I'm looking for a way to use Automation Blocks to use the "Automate to Timeline" function and get clips into a sequence that has an audio track with markers. I need the "Automate to Sequence" options to be the following: Ordering: Selection OrderPlacement: At Unnumbered MarkersMethod: Overwrite EditStill Clip Duration: Use In/Out RangeIgnore Options: Ignore Audio Is this too advanced for the hard coding options in Automation Blocks and would it need to be coded another way, or is it something that I could get the done with the blocks instead of custome code?

I'm editing in Premier Pro V24.6.1 (latest version)Playback is extremely slow on any linked AE files or motion graphics templates. Everything else works fine.Playback is also super slow in After Effects too. Syst...Windows 1112th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700KF 3.60 GHz32.0 GB RAM2TB SSDGeForce RTX 3050 VENTUS 2X XS 8G OC I've tried lowering playback resolution with no visible changes. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I always render out with the frame rate at 29.97 but I have been getting a problem where my rendered footage adds or takes frames. I usually have a mix of frame rates, most of the time it is 29.97. Does anyone know why it keeps adding/taking away frames and how to fix this. For my longer clips it can add/take seconds.

I can't ungroup my audio clips. I need to change volume individually

How can I move a video/audio clip left or right in the timeline, and move the audio keyframes with the audio? I have a short video clip with audio in my timeline. I used the (C) tool to trim the beginning and end of the clip to where I wanted it. Then I inserted audio keyframes to create very acruate audio fade-in and fade-out. Now, if I drag the video/audio clip to the right to add a couple seconds before this clip so I can insert a Title card... the audio keyframes do not "come with" the audio. They stay stuck in time/space.
