Questions

I´ve read all the questions regarding this matter and tried them all to no avail. After I don´t know which update, my text based editing stopped working. I have auto select in-out enabled, it´s text based editing, toggle sync lock is set to normal, the audio track is highlighted and I´ve tried everything I could but I still can´t delete, ripple delete, etc. when text-based editing. I´m on Premiere 25.2.3 due to work but it should be working normally. I´ll add screenshots. As oyu can see, even though it´s only audio (it had graphics before which I removed just in case), it´s still not working, neither the keyboard "delete" shortcut nor the right click - delete. Any ideas would help a LOT. Thanks!

Hello, the problem is that I don't see the automatic mask tool in Premier Pro and I already updated it.

The video in my source/program monitor will play for a short while and then stops. The controls in all other panels are working. I have cleared storage and reinstalled the App. Any ideas?

I have zero intentions of ever using the Generative Extend feature in Premiere Pro for any of my projects, so it would be nice if there was a way to remove that option from my toolbar completely.

Generative extend gives an error and wants you to use 16:9 footage then it lists a 1.09:1 aspect ratio and rejects actual 16:9 footage giving an error that boldly claims 4096x2160 is 16:9.This is really basic stuff Adobe. you should absolutely know what 16:9 relolutions are. MacOSPremiere 25.4.1

Hi everyone, I’m having trouble exporting a long project and could use some guidance. I’m working on a 2-hour 4K video on an M1 Mac with 64 GB of RAM, running the Premiere Pro (Beta) and Media Encoder (Beta) apps. Every time I try to export through Media Encoder, the export runs for about an hour and then just… stops. There’s no error message, no crash — Media Encoder simply pauses as if it’s waiting, and never resumes.  I've tried exporting in Premier Pro, and the same things happen.  No error...it just stops encoding. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Exporting to different codecs: H.264, H.265, and ProRes 422 LT. Same issue.Switching between Hardware Encoding and Software Encoding under Export Settings.Exporting in chunks: Using In/Out points, I was able to export shorter sections without problems. I am not seeing a masking tool in my effects control panel for either 'opacity' or 'lumetri'.I have a clip in the sequence. I am on the latest version of Premiere Pro.Working on a Mac, OS Sequoia 15.6.1 (latest update)Any advice?

We are a US company with an Adobe Suite enterprise account. Others have posted this bug. I'm posting here at the same time as I've let our IT and admin know about the issue, hoping the solution is simpler and faster than waiting for it it to go through channels internally. I used this tool with success in beta! Great addition to the suite. My laptop was just upgraded, the tool is now native, why the sudden bug? One possibility: we also have offices in the UK and Asia. Possible that's locking out this function? Even though I am a US employee with US IP address.  M4 ProSequoia 15.6.124GB RamPremiere Pro 25.5.0 (Build 13)    

Getting so tired of this stuff with adobe. I can no longer option drag the audio on a clip to extend it, takes the picture with it. If I move it up into track V2 or V3 it sometimes works, most ot the time no. Work around for now is to unsynch then resynch, which is a recipe for disaster. This has to be a bug and not some new dumb feature right? 

Perhaps after less than a week of using Premiere Pro, I can't expect to get optimal results, but my experience with this app is proving to be an ordeal. Today, I finally managed to complete the export process, which last Friday seemed like an impossible task, partly because after opening a help request in the community https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/all-export-attempts-have-failed/m-p/15513253#M571263, Adobe support told me in chat that I would have to wait for the new release that would fix the problem, which was already known and cataloged as a bug. However, the result leaves a bitter taste in my mouth because, even if I overlook the processing time of 4 hours, the file went from 999MB to 12GB. The only processing performed was the addition of subtitles. I for the life of me can't figure out how to add assets to a Library folder in Premiere. I clicked on the "Library" panel on the right hand side of the screen. I've "created a new Library.." and now I don't know how to put stuff in the new library. I can see a "+" add content button on the bottom left of that window, but it's not highlighted and I can't click on it, not sure why. Can't drag files into the panel. Can't find a way to add files in the folder in my browser. What am I missing?

I've been experiencing this bug for a long time now (at least 2 years).When I add volume level keyframes to an audio clip, they're usually linear by default, so I'll right click on them and choose a different interpolation if needed.In the example below, I changed the third keyframe to Ease Out - all the others are linear.As expected, the volume fades according to the keyframes and will continue to do so for as long as Premiere open. But, when I export the sequence, the audio in the export is completely different (volume increases and decreases unexpectedly), and there is no evidence in Premiere that anything has changed - the volume levels look and sound normal.It's only when I quit Premiere and relaunch it that I can see and hear what's happening. The picture below is the same audio clip after relaunching Premiere.So, despite the clip looking and sounding normal in the original session (first picture), it actually exports according to the changes that have occurred in the second pict

I have a very large file (7181x4000px) that I want to animate.  It's so big so that I can zoom in to the level I want at 100%.  But I get a yellow line indicating it needs to render to be seen animating optimally.  It's impractical to have to render the file, then watch it each time I want to make a change.  Do I have any recourse to see it animating in real time more or less smoothly as I edit?  Thanks for your help.  

This is a fun new little problem.I'm having to re-analyze every clip that already has warp stabilizer on it.  When I do, there's about a 50% chance that the last frame of the clip on the timeline will just be black. Also, If I try to export, it will error out.I've taken WS off the clip and re-analyzed with the same result.  If I slide the clip down a frame or 2 and re-anazlyze, same result.The only thing that fixes it is if I just cut that last frame out after it's analyzed.Been doing it for about a month now.

I'm editing a bunch of fashion related videos, and I'm including some footage of photography shoots, where a still photography flash strobe is occasionally going off. Not always, and not every time in the same edits, I get about a second of weird grey pixelation craziness partially taking over the screen during and immediately after the strobe going off. (I've attached a screen capture) Anybody else having this issue? Any work-arounds?Project is due in a week, and I need to solve these rendering issues.Thanks,Dave

Hello everyone,I have a project that includes very large .png images that I am animating by adjusting position and scale parameters. The project is 11 min long. It all looks great and the movement is clean. I just added a new section and for some reason, only in the new section the movement is stuttered. It is not clean movement across the frame but moves with a stutter. Any idea why this might be happening? I am running the lastest premiere pro and have a recent macbook pro with plenty of ram, ect. Thanks!!

Hi everyone, I’m editing in Premiere Pro and I’m encountering a visual issue on the timeline that’s been making precision audio cuts quite difficult. On my main audio track (usually A1), there’s a small number “1” displayed at the beginning of the clip. It seems to indicate either the first audio channel or the first track. However, even when I zoom in or out, that “1” stays visible, and it gets in the way of cutting audio clips accurately — especially when working at frame level. I’ve marked it with a red box in the screenshot for clarity.📎 (Attached image showing the “1” marker on the green audio clip) I’ve tried adjusting label settings, clip settings, and track display options but couldn’t find a way to hide or remove that number.Does anyone know how to completely hide this “1” indicator on audio clips in the timeline? Or is this a known issue/design choice? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi there I have a perfect working preset, but I need the option to select the folder the $1/$2 saves to. At this stage, it keeps heading to the Desktop. Cheers B  

Hey there,I've had this problem recently where I can't get footage shot on my Mavic or my Osmo to playback in Premiere. I've been shooting on my Mavic for over a year and never had this issue. I've done everything I can think of. I updated my drivers, updated premiere, cleared my cache. I've even deleted and reinstalled Premiere and my graphics drivers with no luck. I worked with support and they basically told me just to run it off the software rather than my graphics card, but if I do it that way, I can't get anything to render anyways.If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,I have several folders, each one has its own import folder (the mp4 or audios),But anytime I am done with a project and rendered my video (exported) the default EXPORT path is now following that path (truth be told I usually make copies of projects maybe thats why)I would like the default export path to be the same as the import pathSo whenevre I go import stuff from a path, I want the export buton to automaticaly show me that path as possible path to export to?Or any other solutions, I don't think there are "bookmarked" paths are there? (For export i mean not import, I know we have those for import)I could chose the parent directory as a bookmarked export path and then from there could avoid several clicks everytime (I prefer that than to find myself inside the export path of an old project)

Hey, where can I find these visual fade handles on audio clips (Image 1)? I really liked this fade feature in Vegas, and I’d like to know how to do it in Premiere. I dont find the handle on my PP 2024 (Image 2)
