This problem is driving me crazy.  I can't seem to put a text box to occupy the entire video window.  There's an imaginary boundary in the video and as I type text that hits this border, it doesn't show the text.  I've included screenshots to show the problem.  What am I doing wrong???To understand what's happening, the text says "15440 Beach Blvd."  As soon as I hit that boundary underneath the "M" in compounding, the text disappears.  If I drag the text box to the left, you can see the text.  If I drag the box rightward, the text will disappear as it hits the boundary.

I need to re-locate all of the files in my Premiere Pro project. Unfortunately, Premiere Pro uses its own window instead of the native OS window.Even more unfortunate is the fact that if anything is located in cloud storage in the 'Library' folder within the user foler, you can't access it. Double clicking on 'Library' doesn't work. Furthermore, in the sidebar it doesn't even show up. I feel like if the software really has to use its own dialogue box, it shouldn't have inferior functionality to the native OS one...

Hi Adobe Community,I’m looking for guidance on creating a caption preset in Premiere Pro that supports multiple languages. My goal is to streamline the process so that I can apply consistent formatting across captions in English, Spanish, French, etc.Specifically, I’d like to know:If you’ve had English captions translated to other languages you probaly have seen the text either grows or shrinks depending on the language. I want to ensure the text has room on the screen and is displayed long enough to read in any language.In the Text window of Premiere when you select Create Captions, there are a number of parameters that can be set and saved as a preset. I’m looking to the optimal setting for generating SRT files that can be translated to various languages.Any advice, step-by-step instructions, or examples of multilingual caption presets would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance,Paul

So today I tried to open a Premiere Pro project that I’d spent many many hours on, only to find it was not among my “Recent” documents files. Everything I’d worked on in the last few weeks was missing. On navigating to the project file and opening it, I found that it was completely empty -- all my imported files and sequences were gone and my timeline was empty.  I checked my auto-save only to find that over days of work, there were apparently zero auto-saves made of the file.  So it looks like I have to do a week of work over again. Does anyone have any idea how this happens?  Do I have to keep multiple copies of every Save in order to prevent this from happening again?This is maddening.

Peace to allI'd like to ask if you could please help me understand why Premiere is playing my .scc captions at the wrong frame rate.My sequence and my sequence settings are both 23.976 fps and my caption file is also 23.976 fps. Why does Premiere show it as 29.97?Even more important than fixing this, I need to know why it's happening, because I need to be sure it won't happen on the OTT streaming platforms also.The SCC plays back in sync with my video on the Subtitle Edit app. The problem seems to be with Premiere (2023 on Mac). I'm certain I've never used any other frame rate with this project for editing or for exporting.Thanks so much!Robert 

Hello, I use Premiere Pro to edit webinar recording which are an hour long. I auto generate the transcript and then have to gor through the transcript in PP to correct typos etc. As you know, this requires me to double click the text to go into edit mode, edit and then click out to go back to play mode. With a recording an hour long this can take a whole day. A solution, in my head, would be to have the option to open the entire transcript for editing whilst in playback. All I would have to do then is space bar to pause, edit, space bar to play, keep going... It would save a huge amount of time. Or does this exist and Ive just missed it. If someone knows better than I your wisdom would be greatly received. Thanks, Matt

YouTubeなどを中心に動画編集をしているエディターです。恥ずかしい話、そこまで音の編集に詳しくなく、ラウドネスなどを気にせず、これまで編集をしてきました。 今回、担当している動画の納品書をいただきまして、そこにモノラルでラウドネスを-14LKFS（LUFS）と指定がございました。 チュートリアルなどを見て、ラウドネスの正規化を使用して-14LKFS（LUFS）に合わせようとしましたが、実際は-14.21LUFSという数値になりました。 書き出しデータをPremiereに取り込んでエッセンシャルサウンドのラウドネス一致から測定しています。 こちら、ラウドネスは一致していなくても大体合っていれば、納品して大丈夫でしょうか? また、モノラルの書き出しも意外と初めてで、オーディオの取り込みはモノラル、ソースオーディオを1chにして書き出しているのですが、合っていますでしょうか?ソースオーディオを2chにしても、モノラルで書き出せるみたいなので、こんがらがっています…(モノラル=1ch、ステレオ=2chくらいにしか、あまりわかっておらず…) ご確認よろしくお願いします。

Premiere利用者です。編集中の動作不良を解消するため、メモリを増設しましたが、増設後にエッセンシャルグラフィックス（テキスト）を挿入しようとするとソフトが固まり落ちてしまいます。対処法をご存じの方はご教示いただけますと幸いです。 ★環境【PCメーカー】NEC LAVIE【PC型番】PC-GD308ZZ-G（2020年ごろ購入）【OS】Windows11 25H2 64bit【Premiere】2026バージョン【CPU】Intel Core i7-9700【GPU】NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030【メモリ】8GB×2＝16GB 2666MHz【Cドライブ】237GB（残り容量30GB） ★状況・メモリ8GB×2で運用しているも、素材を読み込まない、エッセンシャルグラフィックスで落ちるなどしてストレスに感じたためメモリ増設を検討・元のメモリにあわせ、8GB×2（2666）を追加購入し、8GB×4（32GB）に増設・当初、素材を開けない、固まるなどの不具合が継続したため、メモリのスロットの位置を同じ型番の組み合わせに変更・改善見られず・Cドライブ容量不足を疑い確認→10GBの空きだったため、整理などをし30GBまで空ける・動作は軽くなったが、素材を読み込まない不具合が継続したため、スロット位置を元に戻す・素材を読み込まない不具合は完全に解消。ただ、テキストを打とうとするとソフトが固まり落ちる・メモリを新品8GB×2＝16GBに戻し再度プロジェクトを開くと、テキストが打ち込めたものの全体的に動きが重く、サクサク作業はできないうえ、進めるとどこかで落ちる ★考えた要因・メモリの相性（新旧で相性悪い？）・GPUの能力不足（テキストだけ打ち込めない→これが原因？）・Cドライブの容量不足 ★備考・メモリ4枚挿しのとき、2666MHzではなく2400で表示される・キャッシュ削除と環境設定再生成は毎回している・FHD動画の編集・CドライブとDドライブはディスクが違うため結合できない・シンボリックリンクなどでCドライブの中身をDドライブに移行済み お手数をおかけしますが、ご意見をいただきたく思います。どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

I need help brainstorming this issue and hopefully providing a solution for this. I’m filming and making video board graphics during a soccer club’s media day. I’ll be using a Green Screen background but unfortunately the soccer clubs kit’s that the players will be wearing have a prominent amount of a mix of green color in the jerseys.Is there any way to key out just the background and not the elements of the jersey beside painstakingly masking each clip? Let me know if anyone has experience with this or an alternative method that would work!

is there a keyboard shortcut to select multiple clips on the timeline?

I have some 720x480 PX clips shot on an old Sony Handycam that I want to display as verticals. When I import the clips into my landscape orientated sequence they fit the 720x480 ratio.However when I the rotate the sequence (using sequence settings and flipping the dimensions) the clips dont seem to have the same ratio and show black bars top and bottom.When I flip the pixel dimensions it shows a different ratio. (From 4:3 to 20.33)I also see that the video info in the project bin is showing: 720x480 (0.9091)Are the original clips ratio just slightly smaller? Could it be that the clips are in PAL pixel dimensions? Camera: Sony DCR SX45 / Video quality High  

Does anyone know why Premiere crops the edges of the frame like this? I've already tried different settings. The video is 2160x3840. I don't need this kind of stabilization.

Hi everyone, I'm experiencing an issue when exporting 4K H.265 footage for Instagram/TikTok. After export, videos display intermittent green screen artifacts during playback on mobile devices (though they look fine in Premiere and on desktop). My workflow:Source footage: iPhone 15 Pro (4K H.265, 30fps) Sequence settings: Custom 4K timeline (3840×2160, 30fps) Export settings: H.264, 1080p (to meet platform requirements), VBR 2-pass, Target bitrate 15 Mbps Using latest Premiere Pro 26.0 on MacBook Pro M3 Max, macOS Sequoia 15.3 I've tried:✓ Exporting directly vs. via Media Encoder (same result) ✓ Switching to ProRes export then compressing externally with HandBrake ✓ Disabling all effects/transitions on affected clips ✓ Clearing media cache and restarting Premiere ✓ Testing different bitrates (8–25 Mbps) The green artifacts only appear on mobile social apps—not in VLC, QuickTime, or when previewing the exported file on my computer. Makes me think it's a compatibility issue with how platf

My audio track waveform is glitching. When I zoom out, suddenly the waveform is changes. Also the audio is not sync with what I’m hearing. Anyone know how to fix this?This is the correct waveform, sync with the audio that came outIt changed when I zoomed out

I saved a project, then saved it as a new copy and opened this new copy and got this error for every AUDIO I had in the project, both mp3 and wav. See for yourself Is anyone gonna do something with it?  

Often when you open a timeline, the timeline panel has tons of dead space above the video track. This is a question for Engineering. Why is this? If you look at the image, you can see a lot of wasted space, even though the audio tracks are not visible. 

Very recently Adobe Premiere became very choppy, laggy and nearly unusable. I deselected High Quality Playback and working on ¼ quality. When I delete the media cache, it’s working for several minutes but quickly became laggy afterward.

Hi ​@Mathias Moehl Is there a way with Automation Blocks to add a video track above the current, highest video track and then be able to determine what the track number is?I want to create a script that adds a video track above everything and drops a clip into that track.Thanks!Sam

I’m working on a UXP plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro and I’m trying to understand a behavior difference I’m seeing between Stable and Beta builds on macOS. Scenario The plugin works as expected on: Premiere Pro Beta (macOS) Premiere Pro Stable & Beta (Windows) On Premiere Pro Stable (macOS): The plugin loads correctly Authentication / initialization succeeds But when performing certain runtime operations (e.g. actions on a sequence), the flow fails The same plugin build works without issues on Premiere Pro Beta on macOS, which makes me wonder if there are runtime, permission, or sandboxing differences between the two. QuestionsAt a high level, I’d like to understand: Are there known discrepancies or limitations between: Premiere Pro Stable vs Beta UXP runtimes on macOS? Are there any macOS-specific restrictions (permissions, networking, sandboxing, security) that behave differently in Stable vs Beta? Are there recommended ways to verify UXP support or

NOTE: THIS IS FOR PREMIERE PRO--for some reason the website stuck it in Photoshop and I can’t delete the post or change where it is located. I never want to see any of the the Audio Tracks in this panel, so I hide them so I can get a very skinny view of the Mix channel just wide enough so I can see and access my Mix Plugins. No matter what I do, this does not get saved in my workspace, so my skinny panel always shows me the useless leftmost Track 1 of 4 and not the Mix Channel, so I have to either scroll, stretch it out to be 5” wide, manually go in to hide it EVERY DAMN PROJECT!!!!
