I opened up Premier Pro to do some editing and now my title slide is all in Grey. I've added this same image from one of my bins in several other sequences and today I am having this new experience. I've tried to find a solution and I am stuck.  Every image I try to drag into my timeline has this grey look to them like the image below.   The opacity is at 100%.I've restarted my computer.I am having a beer!Please help.

Colours are way off after importing in Premiere. Tried switching to different versions of Premiere, didnt help. Enabled display color management, tried setting sequence to Rec 709, and basically every other hint I could find on the web. No improvement whatsoever. I cannot choose color management options when right clicking -> modify -> interpret footage. See attached pictures for my settings. This issue only comes up with my 2020 Macbook Pro with i7 and Intel Iris Plus graphics. Not when using my Macbook Air M1 processor.   

I'm a multi-year professional editor and I've just upgraded my rig to a Mac Studio M1 Max. Subclips: Has anyone found a way to create Subclips without having the dialogue box pop open (Name+restrict)? Looking to speed up the process; tried Command-dragging to a Bin but it still pops open that dialogue box. Supposedly there's a way with markers but I can't get that to work (maybe AI hallucinated that answer).   JVK

why is audio on track 1 and II mono and the audio for track 3+ is not playing at all...

Premiere fills up my C drive when I'm rendering my project into a different drive. I've changed my media cache files folder to a different drive, my scratch disc folders too and yet this ssues persists. I use media encoder to render my projects sometimes and I have changed the cache files to a different folder as well. It just eats away the space and I don't really know what to do. This didn't happen for a while but suddenly started to happen for no apparent reason. Any kind of fix would help a lot and thank you.

I recently cleaned up my old Macbook, including deleting a few lesser-used apps. Now I need Premiere again and it says it is incompatible yet there is no option to download an older version, like the version I used to have. Thank god I didn't uninstall the main apps I use so still have older versions - but seriously considering cancelling my whole membership if this is the case.   [Inappropriate discussion removed by moderator]

When I try to keyframe a section of my frame hold segment that is after the default 2 seconds the key frames do not work. Any suggestions to help fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Hallo,   ich bin viel unterwegs und so langsam stört mich Adobes Online Politik. Es möchte jedesmal eine Internet verbindung wo es keine gibt. Wie kann ich sicherstellen, dass die Software mich gar nicht mehr fragt? Das Abo läuft doch noch sehr lange, wieso geht mir Adobe aufn keks alle paar Tage mit dieser umständlichen frage? Das ist nicht zuverlässig.   Wenn man es braucht aber es sich weigert zu starten. Meine gedanken dazu: Ein Patch oder Crack der das Online problem auf einen größeren Zeitraum dehnt wäre hilfreich statt jede Woche mehrmals zu fragen wäre das beste, denke aber das ist ein Tabu Thema bei der Firmenpolitik...   Lg

Why is Media Encloder showing up when I least need it? I don't have an active watch folder, and it doesn't follow the damn preset I build for it. Just a real pain. Anybody else have this issue? Is the interface just a tad clunky?Is there a comprehensive real-world tutorial on controlling this app until needed? Best as always,Loren

The observation is very simple and easy to reproduce:Take a sequence that has 0 clips in it, and take the same sequence that has about 200 items in it:If you add a clip though a script, then the operation will be much slower if you do it on a sequence that has already 200 clips than if you do it to an empty sequence. I am observing it because I try to insert multiple clips at once, the usual user probably has never been bothered to see that an insertion took 2-3 seconds instead of 0.1 sec.You must know that creating a new sequence for the experiment (and leaving the 200 clips sequence aside) does not help. It is more about the number of "inserted clips" on all "sequences of the project" that affects this speed I think. Perhaps it can be easier to observe if you do multiple insertions at once:If run a simple script that add 200 differents other clips (actually could be probably the same media inserted in 100-200 differentes places) to the sequence:- If you use the empty sequence to

Hello,On the Premiere Pro 2023 version, I am experiencing high memory usage. There's about 3 TB of footage/photos/music in my project...the memory usage will grow to be as much as 100GB. This issue has been replicated onto a new laptop. My previous laptop of 16GB, would crash while working on my project. I haven't experienced a crash yet on the new laptop, but the memory usage is still going very high. Please, let me know if I can provide any other information to help find a solution to this. Laptop specs - Macbook Pro i7 CPU 32GB RAM M1. 

As the title above asks, I am looking to see if anyone knows how to get 1080p transitions to work on 4k video clips. I downloaded a few of the fancier video transitions not included and premiere.  I believe they are 1920x1080 resolution transitions, so they show up as a box in the middle of my 4k video footage when I apply them, but when I apply the transitions to 1080p clips, the transitions look great. Is there a way to manually adjust the transitions to work on 4k content?

The OpenTimelineIO (.otio) export option does not appear in Premiere Pro's File > Export menu, despite successful installation. Only standard formats (EDL, OMF, AAF, XML, etc.) are listed. OTIO is completely missing.   

Hi @Mathias Moehl  I'm crafting a variation of the Update Texts of Ae Mogrt with Spreadsheet script (another upskilling from my current knowledge base given the way it works).I want the target coumn index to be dynamic, and dependent on other data in the project (potentially sequence name).To start that process, I'm hoping you can answer this first question - can the variable "target column index" be tied to the text in row 1 of the spreadsheet, as opposed to just the column number? Example - Cell 1B is titled "this column" and we've defined the variable "target column index" as "this column"

I searched it up and found the same answer for a similar problem (click A1) but it wasn't mine. Basically, if I drag in a clip to make a new timeline, the audio comes too.But when I drag in another track, the audio clip does NOT come.I've tried restarting my PC, uninstalling then reinstalling the app, etc. Nothing works. And my problem seems to be uncommon, as I can't find anything on it. PLEASE help if you have experienced this before. It's annoying, especially since I help make promotional videos for a local company, so editing is a big part of my life.

Might be a very small issue to bring up here but one thing that keeps slowing down my workflow every time I start a new project.When I select a Location to save my project in the "New Project" panel, and click on "New Folder" in the Finder window that opens, it does not allow me to paste a name for it.Is this a Premiere issue or just a general Mac OS thing? And does anybody have any fix for this mildly infurating problem of mine? Thanks a lot! 🙂

This is a video & check mark in red color is a standalone PNG layer drag & drop on the video. Is there any effect to move & scale down the check mark when video plays?

This is such a simple thing to do in any other tool (that I can think of at least). All I want to do is copy text from one text layer (A) to another layer (B) while ignoring the text attributes of (A). Basically I just want to paste "plain text". Has anyone found a workaround for this?

I am only using Adobe Enhanced Speech to clean up some old VHS tape files that I digitized where the audio is poor.  It works great.  I am able to download the video with enhanced audio to the hard drive on my computer without any issue.  However, I am transfering some of the files to a USB Thumb drive and keep getting this error: I don't know why it should matter if it is an MP4 file.  Any suggestions?

Suddenly, I can no longer use the arrow keys in Premiere. They work fine in other apps. My jog and shuttle device also stopped working. When I use the keys or my ShuttleXpress from Contour Design, I do see movement in the playhead, as I see minimal movement in the audio playback tab when using both options. So the problem isn't with my keyboard or the ShuttleXpress. What could be causing this?
