premiere and media encoder apps both both fully updated. I typically export my full sequence and also each individual clip using in/out points. done this many times but for some odd reason this time the clips are saving with the very first frame (and subsequently the thumbnail) is from the previous clip. I've double checked that the in/out points are exact and cleared the media cache. please help if you know how to fix or let me know if I can provide more info,

Since ExtendScript support is ending September 2026, and UXP is only supported on beta releases of Premiere Pro, what will be the workaround for scripting workflows. Premiere’s scripting API and developer tools help my organization process and export 100+ hours of video recordings and content, so what will the replacement be? 

Hi all, strange behaviour of my Lumetri color today. Everytime i change the parameter, the lumetri color panel says "(No clip selected)". So i should click again on the video track. Please see the screen recorder below : Thanks  

Here is the (very) simple process.This added to V1 level, Drag a short clip to make a sequence. Use the Type tool to add text, e.g. TESTING, this creates on V2 level, with a black background Find Track Matte effect, drag onto V1 Video, then in effects select V2 (Text layer)The text appears on top of the video, but the video is now visible through the lettering, depending upon the letter font size. This is what I want, BUT, the text background colour is BLACK.Can this be changed?I’ve done this effect in other ways, but it involves more colour layers, I was hoping to change the degault black, rather than having to use several colour layers.Thanks in advance.

I am trying to export my color grade as a .cube file and am having trouble getting consistent color.  The photo shows the original grade on the left and the .cube imported immediately back in to the project on the right.  The difference is obviously subtle in most of the image but pretty noticeable in the highlights.  I had no effects or masks or anything other than basic lumetri settings on the original grade.  I am using a rec709 conversion but it’s applied the same for both and should be the same output.  What am I missing?  I’ve tried playing with all the color space settings but this isn’t an exporting issue so it seems like color space shouldn’t be a problem as this is a pre-export issue.  Any ideas? 

When I add a marker into a Multicam clip, it disappears after one second. I’ve tried switching the “Write clip markers to XMP” in settings on and off, usually the markers then work for few minutes, but then problem comes back. I’ve updated Premiere, cleared cache, started a new production and copied material to new projects. I’ve used this method in previous versions without a problem.

HelloUsing Automated Block, I am trying to create individual sequences to the spec of selected clips in  the PP project panel. The created sequences’ timecode should be the same as the clip that it was created from.Looking through the nodes available , I cannot see anything that might do this.Any thoughts are most welcome.Thank you

Anyone else seeing consistent crashing of Premiere 2026? I have the latest update as of February 4th, flushed cache multiple times, re-installed, restarted computer, etc. But certain elements such as:Scrubbing the Timeline Adding Effects Adding CAPTIONS (of all things)Freezes the program and requires a forced quit. Attached is where the captions usually sit and fail before the crash occurs.I’ll likely downgrade to Premiere Pro 2025 if not addressed soon - but checking to ensure I’m not the only one and I need to look at my own stuff? Currently on Macbook Pro 14” with M2 MAX.

i opened premiere pro today and all my projects that i have are not there anymore. ive checked files and i just cant find anything! i have put in hours and hours of time into some of these projects so i need some help!

On my Mac book pro the premiere pro shortcut has recently disappeared after an update, its not in my dock, app launcher or on my desktop, but my other apps like after effects and photoshop are still there. The only way to access premiere pro now is going through creative cloud which is annoying.Is there a way to get the application shortcut back in my dock or on my desktop? I’ve tried dragging the app from creative cloud and uninstalling and reinstalling the app but none of these worked

What's new in this version and is it safe to update to it? I haven't found any information about what this version contains, whether it's improvements or new features.

I recently started working on a new video, editing it in Adobe Premiere Pro. I’m using Helios 300 2019 model (PH315-52-78VL), I7 9750H, GTX 1660Ti, 16GB DDR4 ram. I have been using Premiere Pro since Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 in my PC (not laptop). Up to Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019 I didn’t encounter any rendering issues & CPU usage (and in between GPU usage as well) used to be very high (40% - 100%) during rendering (even in laptop, no issues). However, my recent project (in laptop) & I think my first project in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2020 is rendering very slow, same is the issue with rendering previews. I noticed CPU usage is very low (max 24%) and GPU is barely ever used. I’m using CUDA for rendering engine (I tried openCL & Software only as well). I have tried several tutorials on this and tried several optimisation settings, even tried rendering in Adobe Media Encoder CC 2020 with different settings but none helped fix the problem. Crop masking is missing in Adobe Premiere Pro 26. It's nice that cropping has been built into the clips in this version and the object masking is nice but I don't like how difficult it is to crop backgrounds in a variety of shapes. I would love to see the masking option returned to the cropping section instead of having to take three extra steps for every clip I want to custom crop in version 26. I'm going back to version 22 until this gets fixed.

In this mode, the program does not respond to commands, and the mouse and keyboard do not work. At the same time, the processor, disk, and card load is 2%. When switching to Icon Views mode, the problem disappears. Problem on all versions 23-24 in different versions of drivers and Windows operating system.Materials from different cameras and different formats. “this project was saved from a previous version of adobe premiere pro and must be converted” even though I saved it yesterday, yet, I have other projects that still open with no problem and this seems to happen in random situations. How is it than a file older than a year still opens but a saved file I did a few days ago must be converted, and opens another premiere (One says “Adobe Premiere” another says “Adobe Premiere 2025”) and in “Adobe Premiere” I can’t use a mask on Opacity?!?!?!It’s extremely annoying.

Everything was fine then all of a sudden I loaded and all the footage in the preview is all just white/black pixelated.  If I render out the footage it is all a mess.  It seems to play fine when I hit space bar in premiere but when stopped the white / black screen is there.

An Adobe please publish the official release notes to each version already?26.0.2 - no release notes anywhere. And my IT department asks why they should update my current version (26.0.1) and I cannot answer, why, because I don’t know. I think not releasing the patch notes for every software version is a very deep and sincere disrespect towards the users.

After Effects Clips werden von jetzt auf gleich mit Media PEdning und im wechsel als MEdia offline anzeigt. Dann gibt es einen Blackscreen es komt nur noch Ton. Da hilft dann nur noch ein Neustratr und das ganze wiederholt sich. Gilt für alle Projekte.Neuinstallation/ Neustart/ Chache lösche/ CPU rendering Optioneveränderungen haben kleinen Unterschied gemacht. Manuelles Dynamic Link Server hinzufügen lässt das ganze system crashen.Bitte um Hilfe After Effects läuft auch nicht mehr Rund.

Hello.I’m using Premiere 26.0.2 on Mac OS 15.7.4I like to check clip(s) duration in the timeline with the info tab. I discovered today that Premiere interprets still images with the wrong FPS and that it affects the duration info.For instance, in a 23,976 fps timeline, a png file is tagged 25fps in the info window. The duration that is shown is not correct.I don’t know if it’s a known issue.Thanks!Max

I know I am doing something wrong here (I am fairly new to this), but I don’t know what. I am frequently editing +1-hour videos containing speech by several individuals and groups. The raw material I get often contain multiple individuals speaking at wildly different intensity levels (men, women, big vs. tiny voices etc.) plus other individuals scattered across a big room, again, speaking at different levels, al interspersed with laughter, clapping of hands and sudden outbursts of enthusiasm that send my levels deep into the red.I have tried to normalize these audio tracks using different functions of Premiere, but nothing produced an actually normalized audio track, e.g. one with a single mostly consistent level. While getting somewhat attenuated, the level usually retains its wildly different sections and I have to compartmentalize individual sections and reduce/increase their levels by hand.What am I doing wrong? All of a sudden, I am having issues with adobe Premiere Pro not automatically rendering effects or color corrections for clips in my timeline. In order for me to see the effect I applied or desired color correction that I applied, I need to manually go to “Sequence/Render Effects In To Out,” in order to see the effects in the Program monitor. For example: I have a clip a person in front of a green screen. Even after using ultra key to key out the green, the program monitor still shows the green screen. If I export the premiere pro project file, it exports properly, without the greenscreen showing (with the green keyed out).  I’m essentially editing blind when it comes to effects and color corrections. Premiere Pro is adding the effects but it is just not displaying them in the program monitor. As per the title.It wasn’t with the latest update, believe the previous major one, but I’ve been finding Warp Stabiliser completely unusable all of a sudden, somehow hell bent on stabilising the completely wrong area of the picture in a way it never used to.Sure, you can still use AE and the tracker, but the ability to drop it in, choose position+scale+rotation and set to 10 or % used to work a treat in taking the edge off a handheld shot, now it seems to constantly overdo it and stabilising the furthest area in shot at the expense of a usable shot. Anyone else found this to be the case?Along with the abysmal masking tool changes it’s the kind of things that makes you wonder why you haven’t moved to Resolve yet...

Hoping someone can help me diagnose this because I’m suddenly dead in the water on an important project. Premiere had been feeling increasingly sluggish over the last few days, but now it has escalated to the point where the project is basically unusable. Here’s exactly what’s happening:  I reboot the Mac fresh No other meaningful programs running Open only Premiere Open this one project I do literally nothing — don’t touch timeline, don’t scrub, don’t hit play, don’t open sequences Within moments, memory pressure goes from green → yellow → red Premiere memory usage climbs absurdly high (I captured it at 105 GB) Swap shoots up massively Premiere then crashes, or the whole app becomes unresponsive and macOS shows it as “Paused” in Force Quit   If I actually try to edit, it gets worse even faster. Important detail: the moment I quit Premiere, the system immediately returns to normal memory behavior, so this appears isolated to Premiere / this project.  What I’m seeing in
