Hello, for the past two weeks, every time I import the rushes from a project I'm working on into the timeline, the sound is very distorted, even inaudible, whereas when I play the same rushes on VLC or Quicktime Player, the sound is perfect. Have you ever encountered this problem? How can I solve it? Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hey everyone! I’m working on a script using Automation Blocks in Premiere Pro to help with a shot request workflow — basically, I need to add handles (10 frames) to the start and end of multiple clips in a timeline before sending them to a client as a reference QT and XML.The goal is:Loop through all video clips in the active sequenceExtend the in-point backward and the out-point forward by a set number of framesAvoid touching audio clips or clips that are already trimmed to the edge of their media I tried to using the "Precompose With Handles" script but it can only do one clip at a time and I don't want it to create a Precomp. I tried to delete sections of it to get what I needed but I just broke it. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Running Premiere 15.4.5 I am having trouble getting Consolidate Duplicates to work. Details:I work with another editor on a production on a NAS. We have assistant editors who work remotely doing selects, translation and captioning, etc., and they have all of our media on local storage (they can't connect to our NAS). The assistant editors' media drives are clones of ours.   This morning an AE sent me a sequence in a project file that only contains media relevant to the sequence. I first opened my project file with all of the original footage imported and sorted. Then I did "Add project to production" to import the project from the AE, which brought in the sequence and associated master clips (which are duplicates of my original media that has already been imported and sorted in my production). So far so good. In the past, I have dragged duplicates from projects sent to me by AEs into my original footage folders and then run "Consolidate Duplicates" so I don't h

Did a new update in Premiere Pro turn on the camera and if so how do I make it stop. I have disconnected my webcam because I have seen nothing in the software or other places where I can turn it off. I am not comfortable with a program turning my camera on without my consent, but it is also being done in such a way that I am wondering if this is actually premeire doing it.

My laptop for work uses Intel Arc and Nvidia. I have followed another ticket on this community where it said to clean uninstall using DDU and download the latest Intel drivers. I did it, the "incompatible" warning left but it still crashes my pc. Why is that?? Why can't Adobe work with Intel arc? It's been out for a while now, please fix this mess!! 

I have two problems. Initially, I noticed that all my sequences have no waveforms. I went through all the relevant steps of generating waveforms automatically, deleting media cache, etc. But still no waveforms. This applies to any project I edit.I then imported a sound file, but the sound doesn't play.  The sequesnce has A1 and A2.I've checked this sound that's in a previous project that was exported with the sound playing fine, but it now doesn't play there either.

Hi guys, trying to create a slow deep-zooming video using a high-resolution TIFF, and the result is all shaky/jittery. I'm doing the zoom using the "scale" function in the fx motion panel, in "linear" mode. There is something wrong with the way PP is downressing the TIFF to create the video frames (using nearest neighbor interpolation maybe--is there a way to change to bicubic?), producing a result that looks like bad camera shake. I have done exactly the same thing before with the same image on previous versions of PP with no problem. I'm rendering .mov files using ProresHQ, 4k, and tried various settings (8bit v 16bit, max render quality versus regular) all with the same result. My zooms are from 100% out to 50% of the original image, should produce a perfectly smooth result. 2017 iMac Pro, Catalina 10.15.4. 

Hey guys, I've been working on this short film for quite awhile now and I'm having some audio issues that I have never seen before. At instances some audio files simply stop playing after working normally the day before (I decided to just delete them and import again, which would be faster) but in other instances the audio seems fine in the timeline but after I export it this TERRIBLE white noise appears in a few locations, sort of like some sound files are corrupted. This only happens with the SFX files, not music or voice over. The SFX files I downloaded using my subscription on Envato. Can anybody please help me out with that. It's driving me insane.  Cheers

Hi there! I have to pull a large number of vfx shots from the edit timeline of a film I'm working on, so I can export plates. I have a spreadsheet with all of the in/out timecodes of where the clips are in the edit timeline, so I figured there must be a way to automate this - search the timeline for the clip at the specified tc, copy the clip, paste into a new sequence.  I've watched a bunch of the tutorials, read a number of different posts and I still haven't gotten anything to work.  I even tried having chatGPT help out, and still nothing so far.  I know a couple of the tuts referenced automating things via a spreadsheet, but I guess my brain still hasn't clicked into the logic of Automation Blocks yet, cause I'm just banging my head against a wall. Regarding chatGPT - I followed the prompt guidelines on the mamoworld site here:https://docs.mamoworld.com/automation-blocks/forChatGPT/and it did spit out an xml file for me, but it doesn't seem to do

Premiere has begun to constantly generative peak files and conform every clip in my project every time I do anything. Even so much as to just highlight a clip in the timeline set premiere off in reconforming each and every clip. This is chaos & I can not work basically at all with this constant conforming. Does anyone know of a fix? I have tried completely wiping out all Cache, with no solution. The only thing I have found so far that might be a clue is that I can close out the project. Go into settings and tell premiere to delete all cache. Then I will go in finder and the .pek files are still there. It seems almost as if Premere may not be seeing the cache files at all, so it re conforms that every time I attempt to do anything. Even if I render in to out, it will render my entire timeline, green bar, and within 30 seconds premiere will start confirming again & that render is useless, gone like it never happened.

Hi,I have a sequence with 100+ markers, and I’d like to number them visually so that each number appears in the corner of the video. I already have a MOGRT with the basic text style I want, but manually placing and changing each one would take a lot of time.Is there a way to automate this with Automation Blocks? Ideally, I want each marker to act as a boundary between numbers, so between marker 1 and 2, it shows "1", between 2 and 3 it shows "2", and so on.I also have a small timer clip that I place under each number. Would it be possible to automatically adjust its duration to perfectly fit between each pair of markers?Thanks in advance!

For YEARS I have been able to mark in points and out points on the fly while watching playback in the source monitor.  I wake up today and start working and when I press I or O on the keyboard, playback stops and resets back to where the video began playing.  It marks the in point, but I need it to keep playing.  I have cleared my cache, restarted multiple times, I'm using 25.3.0, but have installed previous versions to see if that would fix it.  Nothing has worked.   Anyone have any ideas?

I was syncing an MOV and a wav file this morning in premiere 25.3.0 (Build 84) on a Mac desktop computer. I was able to sync it so fast because the quicktime and wav file had matching timecodes!!! 09:46:43:00 was the start timecode of my wav file. About an hour or so into the edit I noticed that the timecode for my wav file no longer matched the MOV. And the only way to make it temporarily match is to double click it in the bin, hold down command and press the blue timecode in the source window 3 times. but if you match back to it or go back to it later the start timecode is still wrong. its now saying the start timecode is 12:13:23:18 (when it was 09:46:43:00 an hour ago). I cleared the cache. restarted my computer. and the issue persisted. I started a new project file and dragged the raw wav into the new project and it was still saying the start timecode of the wav was 12:13:23:18. So I opened the same wav file on my laptop instead of my desktop computer and it told me the start

I created an audio file in Audacity and exported it to an MP3. When I upload it to Adobe, it only uploads the first 5 seconds of my audio. I tried exporting the file multiple times, but every time I upload it to Adobe, it only shows the first 5 seconds. Please help

First off, I'm sorry to say this color management setup is really not that intuitive. Using hue preservation makes for very weird highlight areas in video, and by channel seems to be buggy at best, sometimes not allowing you to grade anything over 70 IRE brightness and othertimes not. Overall having a bad experience but this but is the most show stopping:   If I apply basic color correction, a creative effect, and do an RGB curves adjustment the picture goes to hell.

Whenever i start Adobe Premiere, my cursor starts blinking with the loading animation, and I can't access menus or type anything.I've looked around for hours and what I have found has not worked at all.I'm at my wits' end. This program is unusable until I get this fixed.

I’m using the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro (as of July 2025) on a clean Windows 10 Pro system (22H2) with an NVIDIA RTX 5080 GPU. Hi! I play a clip with no other clips/layers above or below, CPU is 10% and GPU is around 20%, playback is normal. But when trying to play the same clip with other clip/layer below (no effects), CPU spikes to 100%, GPU is still 20% and playback is choppy, just showing one frame every 3 or 4 seconds (the clip's opacity is 100% so the clip below is not even showing).It's an i9-7940X (28 cores), 64GB RAM and a Quadro P4000 with 8GB. Footage from Canon R7 1080x1920 (vertical) 4:2:2 10-bit IPB.Changing playback quality to 1/4 doesn't fix it. I can't believe it's a system performance issue, is it??Thank you!
