Working on an iMac, Apple M1, running on Sequoia 15.6.1, I get a "Force Quit Applications" notification on screen when attempting to export an 80 minute video. The application completely stops the exporting process at 22% and doesn't move for more than 30 minutes. I've cleared all caches. A little frustrated on this, as this has been a problem since early in the week, and I edit a weekly video podcast. How can this be fixed? Please advise.
Hi, I want to fully understand how to read the motion path in my animated still, and have a few questions: 1. What does the endpoint of the downward path at the right represent in the 2d screenshot? This endpoint is where the image reaches the 3rd set of keyframes, and stops panning up, left and zooming in. It obviously has a specific relationship to the image, I just don't know what it is. 2. In the 3d screenshot, the vertical path is just reflecting the upwards movement of the pan, right? But why is it a solid, not dotted blue line? 3. In the 4th screenshot, a dotted line appears moving leftwards and down. This comes during the 2 sets of keyframes where the image is panning left and zooming in, as the image has already started moving both left and up. Its appearance seems random to me. Why does it start where it does, and what is it showing - that the image is panning left? @Conrad_C helpfully explai
If I use an External Recorder such as Tascam 701-D, or Mix-Pre6, during a shoot, I use the PluralEyes 4 to Sync the Audio Of the Recorder, and the Camera, at It does a pretty good Job. Inside Premiere, there Is an option of Merging Clips and Synchronizing Clips.Which Method is the Best choice using Plur Eyes 4, or the premiere Synchronizing options?Thank you very much.
Adobe and Community, please help me out: I am working on creating a database of video clips, all of which have audio narration. The goal of this database is to have associated transcripts to act as metadata for the video clips. The Adobe Premiere transcription feature seems like a silver bullet at first glance, but it has two major flaws. First, the .prmi is not editable, meaning one cannot simply open it up to fix bad transcriptions. Second, editing the transcription on Premiere does not update the .prmi file - the corrections are only stored with the project they are in. So the database will keep the original bad transcriptons. Also, I ALREADY have transcription of all the clips even before the .prmi is created, so it would be ideal If I could feed these transcripts to Premiere so it doesn't have to generate a transcription from scratch (with errors). If anyone has a solution for this workflow, they would be my hero! Possible solutions would be: 1. A way to open .prmi fil
System: GTX 750Ti 2GB, Ryzen 3700X, 32GB DDR4 Issue: While scrubbing through each frame going to next or previous frame shows way ahead or way before frame respectively for a flash of a second and to the intended frame. That was during each frame scrub but fast playback also has some stuttery playback not smooth while MP4 is smooth. When: The issue arises when Hardware Encoding is enabled. MP4 scrubbing works fine on both HE and SE method but MKV suffers on HE only. Tried on: OBS encoded MKV file with 10Mbps bitrate VBR, 60fps constant, 1s keyframe interval, 1 B Frame. With same settings MP4 files just works buttery smooth.
I got this error but can't find any way to fix it
Hello there! This is the 1st time I'm having this issue.Whenever I press <return> to render between the I&O points, Premiere (after rendering) starts the playback at the beginning of the timeline and NOT at the IN point. This is definitely (for me) not a functional way to work.Any hint on how to change this? Thanks in advance.
Hey there, due to Auto-save. every 5 minutes my Premiere freezes for ~ 10 seconds, which really messes up my workflow.I'm on the latest Version of Premiere. Things I tried to fix this:- resetting cache/preferences- deleting the existing auto-save files- importing the whole Project into a fresh one- changing the Auto-Save to different intervals (20mins for instance)- changing the Auto-Save location to different local drives- fully disable auto save in preferences, which still did nothing. All these things didn't change anything, still every 5 minutes Premiere freezes and creates another Auto save (I see the little auto save icon top right working). Please help, it's really tough to stay focused like this. Kind Regards,Philipp
I added 18 clips to Premiere. Then selected and dragged them all onto the timeline. I was cutting out segments and all wasy good. At some point I noticed the timeline was just one clip and all the rest weren't on it. Tried going back in my "clipboard" but never changed. Am I missing something? Did I somehow set focus on one clip and there is a way to get back to the overall timeline with all the clips on it?
More of a rant than anything. I dont see how Adobe can consider Premier Pro as a premium product. We pay through the nose for a product that is so incredibly buggy and crashy, forcing you to loose hours on projects that you cant get back.I WISH adobe would consider updating these years old issues, instead of focusing on flash new AI programmes. Why cant i add time remapping and warp stabilizer on the same clip? Why does Premier pro crash almost every time i replace a sequence with an after effects composition? Why do my Auto saves COMPLETELY WIPE THEM SELVES after its crashed using the legacy exporter?Sort it out adobe. This is an expensive product and you can't get the basics right.Very disgruntled and considering switching to Da Vinci at this point... Final Cut would be a better alternative.
What exactly does the "Align in Timeline" function (shortcut: S) do in Premiere Pro? The symbol for it looks like a magnet. I'm in the process of learning Pr, so I would like an easy-to-understand explanation that explains everything anyway 🙂 Thank you in advance !! [text formatted by mod]
Hi @Mathias Moehl Is there a way in Automation Blocks to 'press play' on a timeline and play down the active sequence? Maybe some code in the extendscript block?
Hi there! This is my first time posting here so feel free to correct me if I you should approach this issue in some other fashion. I love the new way Premiere Pro works with captions and it has really sped up my workflow. However I have one issue with how the background of the subtitles work. I am able adjust the size of the background box around the text, but I am not able to adjust the height and the width independently. This forces me to add spaces to the start and end of each line to manually create more padding on the sides. This workaround adds up to a substantial amount of time. I have attached a video if I haven't explain what I mean well enough. It would great if you could add this functionality! Please enlighten if I just haven't found the right buttons 🙂 Best regards,Trym
Gracias
I have a slideshow with 600 photos and an Excel sheet with 600 names. How can I batch create a simple static lower third with the names changing?Without typing in each name one at a time.
The Essential Graphics panel, which used to be very helpful, is now missing. It was great for quickly cropping with rounded corners, combining text and images in one place, and adding backgrounds behind logos or PNGs — all without creating an extra layer on the timeline. Right now, I have to type some text just to make the familiar tool appear again. Can you please bring back the original Essential Graphics workflow? It made editing much faster and easier.
Hello, Looking for some help on my performance. I'm currently using a HP Workstation with 256 RAM, 16.4 TB internal storage, and a 24 GB Graphics Card. The rest of the info is below. I'm frusterating at the amount of lag and slow overall performance. I stay up-to-date on my PC updates and still can't figure out why there is such lag. Is it my graphics card? I have a 49" 5k monitor (which I'm going to change out soon because I'm not a huge fan) but is that screwing things up? Any help is appreciated. Using the latest version of Premiere - export a timeline of RED and Blackmagic footage (mostly RED) using Final Cut XML. On the Premiere timeline all the clips are stripped of any color. Export the XML and import into Resolve. On the Resolve timeline, several clips have "baked in" color and there is no access to RED metadata. No ability to strip the color. I've tried defaulting the RED clips in Premiere. I compared RED parameters with clips that are fine vs the clips that show up baked in and there were a couple of clips that were "legacy" color pipeline - I changed the parameters to match - to no avail same problem. Help. CJ
Hi! I'm running into issues with sharing projects that rely on MOGRT (Motion Graphic Template) files. The MOGRTs were created in After Effects, added to a shared library, and imported into Premiere. When I transfer the project file to another computer with the same MOGRTs installed, however, the MOGRTs in my timeline aren't linked: they depend on a .aegraphic file that is created whenever I drag that template into my timeline, in a folder at the same local directory as the original project was saved in. I need to reliably share projects that include those MOGRTs, so I started building a functionality in ExtendScript that would replace those local .aegraphic files associated with my project to copies of those .aegraphic files on a shared drive (because of my workflow, I can't save the Premiere project to the shared drive). However, I'm hitting another wall when using ExtendScript: I can't run changeMediaPath() on those MOGRT files because canChangeMediaPath() returns fals
The Ultra Keyer is not working for us on any of our editing machines. We are running Win11 with 5080 gpu's, latest premiere and latest nvidia studio driver.I drop the Ultra Key on the video and pick the green, click aggressive and normally you would get a near perfect key. It is only removing about 50% of the background, looks like it's half overlayed. If you move the tolerance slider nothing happens like it is not working at all. I put a clip over a solid red matte and cropped the left side over for this example pic: For testing i tried using the old plain color keyer effect and just picked green and slid the tolerance bar over a bit and it keyed perfectly: Thanks, Chuck - WEFS TV
How do you sync multiple audio and video clips. say 80 audio and video clips from like 8 camera setups
i have been trying to find any mogrt in panel but nothing is showni tried to reset everything, delete cache, mogrt folder and reinstallbut nothing worksi can search in adobe stock
So whilst this could be a bug, for the time being I'm gonna mark this as a discussion as it's mostly a question.A while back I made a two and a half hour recording of something that I had to split into several parts. The first eleven parts went just fine, but any other parts sometimes just get stuck in the rendering process, the window does NOT go into the "Not Responding" state, but also NEVER progresses any further. When this happens I can try killing Premiere all I want, but doing so makes me unable to reopen it until I restart my entire PC.Running this on Windows 11 Home (64-bit) with 32 GB RAM,an AMD Ryzen 5700X 8-Core Processor (3.40 GHz)This issue doesn't occur consistenly either, I can restart my PC right now and when I try again it can easily do several renders before running into this issue but it can just as easily run into it immediately.
Hey everyone 👋 I’ve been experimenting with different LUT combinations and workflow settings in Adobe Premiere Pro 2025, and I noticed that using the Lumetri Color panel with a dual adjustment layer setup gives a much more cinematic tone — especially for racing or motion-heavy clips. I documented the full workflow and test results (with before/after frames) on my blog carx street where I often write about creative editing and visual tuning. Has anyone here tried using dual LUT layers for highlight control in Premiere? Would love to know what color depth settings you prefer for smoother exports. Thanks!— Elena [link removed by moderator]
I was having a problem with renders not connecting. Adobe tech support helped me changefrom software only to CPU acceleration. Problem fixed. But now I am getting a black frameat the end of any shot I have the warp stabilizer on. Are these related? Any thoughts? Thanks!!!!
