Stager is the only program I've ever used where saving doesn't mean it's saved. I just lost two days of work even after saving constantly. Stager turned grey this morning and I couldn't even exit out. After I restarted my computer, it showed that my file hadn't been saved in over a day. This isn't the first time, and it happens to my coworkers as well. It seems like you have to save as constantly and then double check the file location to make sure that it actually saved. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Unable to open saved stager files. I am up against a deadline and now I cannot open a saved stager file. NOT the first time this has happened! VERY FUSTRATING!

Hi,I'm working on 3D models for a website, and for the overview we need all models to have the same angle to avoid it looking messy.I've tried playing around with the camera position, and saving the x, y, z numbers, but it never ends up looking the same. Any advice? 

Hello tout le monde,Substance me donne envie de le fuir comme pas possible.J'importe en FBX sur Painter, depuis impossible de le ré-exporter facilement en un clic ou un tour de main.Outre les multi-suggestions ultra-verbeuses du logiciel, il ne restaure pas l'objet avec les modifications que je lui donne.Non, il veut bien me donner soit le maillage, soit les textures.Je veux juste faire une modification mineure sur mon objet dans la suite Substance je suis obligé de passer par Stager et celui-ci ne veut pas me le rendre en format FBX.Résultat j'ai mon objet en format OBJ ou GTLF et quand je l'importe dans Unreal Engine, il est explosé en toutes les parts qui peuvent être peignables et impossible dans Unreal de les associer pour en re-créer un. J'ai beau chercher partout comment tout associer, nulle part. ChatGPT me dit que je dois repasser par Blender.Puis Substance m'impose aussi son répertoire. Je viens du répertoire de ma librairie Blender, il veut me déplacer l'objet dans son réper

You can select Full/1-2/1-4 under "Resolution".A standard magazine full-page ad at 8.5x11.Stager Resolution (setup)- Full and let's go with High/Ultra Presets.In a different post, somone said - Oh, yeah it comes out at 72dpi. "Just open it in Photoshop" change the Image size settings to 300dpi."  It's fine.   Huh?Anytime you blow up an image at 72dpi to 300dpi (example), you will always lose quality, starting from 72dpi...Can Adobe explain?  Does DPI no longer matter? Is Stager rendering at a massive DPI and when you open it and change it to 300, the 72dpi doesn't matter, it's actually not 72dpi? Maybe someone can explain a potentially entire

In MacOS the button "Load" in Substance 3D Panel don't open the browser to select a "sbsar" file.

I'm working on AltspaceVR and other platforms and wonder if Substance is a good option to combine with Unity. Any thoughts?

Hello community, I have several appliance models that I need to record a 360º rotation, all have been successful.  My last 2 are demonstrating some odd behavior:  I've placed all the items for the object I need to rotate into one folder (which I've done for all the previous objects).  I've selected the folder to rotate, but when I play the rotation, only part of the object rotates, not the whole shape.  Weird...  My other model shows a different, but equally puzzling result: The entire model rotates, but one part of the model rotates at a different pace, like slower or something.  They all return to their correct position, but again, weird...  If anyone has experianced this, let me know if there's somethinhg I'm doing wrong, or if this is a bug YouTube links to both examples below  .https://youtu.be/-0pYlBl8AWg https://youtu.be/NKsUce2Sa_4

Is anyone familiar with how to make the background of a PNG render transparent? I recall doing so in Painter but it seems that Stager is a bit different.  Any and all help is appreciated, thanks!

Hi All I am just trialling Substance (previously a Keyshot user). One of the things I am struggling to succeed with is Brushed Metal on a 6 sided shape. Each edge is rounded For some reason, Stager is putting the brush strokes in the correct direction, but on the rounded edges it is canging the orientation of the brush strokes by 90 degrees which is incorrect. Do you have any thoughts on how to correct this? It gives best results using UV projection. I have tried the other two projection types. Here is a screenshot of the issue. The green lines show the brush strokes behaving correctly, but the red ones on the radiused edge are incorrect. https://app.screencast.com/1qO5dxDHr6xBK Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

When trying to access “Libraries” a dialogue box pops up that says “Share and update team assets smoothly” with “Skip” and “Next” buttons. Choosing either button takes you to a dialogue box that says “Browse libraries in business storage” with a “Done” button. At this point the button is unresponsive and I cannot get rid of the dialog box to access any libraries. Any ideas? THANKS in advance!

Selling a Substance material as part f a 3D model is not permissable. But selling a Stager Product with the substance material ? Since the buyer must have a Substance license it must be permissable right?

Hello I have added 3D text to the sides of a cube. When i rotate the cube, the text moves with the sides in design. However, when i use the timeline to preview the render, the text does not move with the cube. I have merged all the text and the cube but it does not seem to work as a single object. Is it possible to add 3D text to a 3D shape and then use the rotate/spin rendering? Thank you Stuart

Does Stager support remote scripting the same way Painter does?From my own testing and the official docs is does not seem to, but I just want to make sure.

This model was made on Blender, it looks good when I visualize it on that program.Why does the mesh breaks when I open it on Substance Stager? What is the problem and how can I fix it?

I am trying to place a PNG as a SINGLE decal on only 1 side of my 3D Shape. When I drag and drop my PNG to the desired location it ends up mirroring on all sides?? Does anyone know how to turn this off or have any ideas what is wrong? Thank you!

Hi everyone.I'm having difficulties importing a 3D model that includes a glass sphere into Adobe Aero. I want to ask if there's a way to keep it transparent when exporting from Stager?  Here's how I created my 3D model:1. I created it in Nomad Sculpt2. I used Adobe Substance 3D Painter to add the glass appearance to the sphere3. Sent it to Stager. In Stager, I choose Export for Aero (and it was exported as a .GLB file)4. I imported the .GLB file into Aero, but the glass material is gone. Below are the actual result and my expectation: I hope to receive your advice on this >_<

I'm interested in using Substance 3D Stager, but before subscribing I would like to to know if I can create an interactive 3D file (ie viewable from multiple angles) that I can send electronically to a customer to view who doesn't have any 3D software (a proof of sorts - something like a pdf that could be opened in Reader).

Rendering on the highest spec Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch still taking painfully long. M1 Max 64GB of memory taking over an hour to render at medium/high settings 2000x3000 resolution. Seems like Stager is only using a fraction of the power my machine is capable of producing.

So, I have a 3D model of a water tower that I need to put a logo on as well as make white. Making it white is easy.. but the decal is a different story. The tank itself is a folder (group) with each of the panels in it. When I drag and drop my transparent .png of the cities logo on it, it only goes onto one of the panels and not all the way across the whole group of panels... Is there a way to apply a decal across multiple objects like this?
