I'm reading the marketing materials for RoboHelp 2019 and I'd love clarification on what the following description means:"SharePoint Online supportEnsure everyone stays on the same page by enabling sharing and collaboration across your organization with SharePoint Online."I noticed that Peter's RoboHelp Tour put the SharePoint integration in the Source Control section of his tour and it seems to me as if the instructions are for using SharePoint Online to share the source files, not the output files.I have RoboHelp 2015 currently and unsucessfully attempted to publish Responsive HTML5 output to SharePoint Online (part of the MS365 suite) earlier this year. My IT person (who is well versed in SharePoint) and I tried every way we could. I checked the "Generate SharePoint Native Output before publishing" and published the .aspx files to a One Drive folder, which was used to update the SharePoint folder.  (We also tried just copying and pasting the files to a SharePoint Online folder.

Is SQL Server Compact 4.0 Service Pack 1 required to publish to SharePoint Online? I am not able to publish to my created SharePoint Online folder. I get access denied messages. 

Hello! I would like to use the RoboHelp 2019 scripting functionality to perform what seems like (to me) a simple task, but I have zero experience using scripting and the Official documentation doesn't seem to cover it at all. Basically I'd like a script that goes through a specific folder that I point to, and then takes the title from the metadata htm title and adds it to the index metadata of each document in the folder. Any help writing this, or pointers to simple resources that I can learn from, would be very much appreciated.

Okay, I have this weird issue using the search on a compiled responsive HTML5 doc... I'm writing techincal docs for a programming language, which means I have lines of code on the page like:sprite_get_texture(spr_Background, 0); However, using the example above, if I do a seacrh for the function sprite_get:texture, the results have the () stripped from them so it looks like this: sprite_get_texture spr_Background, 0 ;Here are is an image that illustrates the issue better:  You'll notice that it's stripping the brackets from ALL code in the page, not just the function that I'm searching. I have NO idea why it's doing this, let alone how it can be fixed, so any help here would be appreciated! 

I'm using the latest RH 2017, and I had an issue where, in RH's HTML5 layout, there was an odd right vertical bar that appeared under the TOC text like this:I didn't like how this looked and wanted to remove it, but I found that I couldn't turn off this particular element inside of the usual layout UI controls that RH offers. This is my solution. I decided to share it here in case anyone else might be interested in doing something similar. (I assume this solution likely also works in the classic version of RH 2019).It turns out that this (and many other styles) is controlled by a style that is stored inside of a stylesheet that RoboHelp provides named layout-rtl.css.If you're using the charcoal gray HTML5 layout, for example, this file stylesheet is inside of the !ScreenLayout!\Charcoal_Grey folder in your project(When you generate your HTML5 output, this file gets placed inside of your template\Charcoal_Gray folder, so you'll likely want to modify the one in !ScreenLayout!\Charcoal_Gr

I just upgraded my RoboHelp Classic 2019 project to RH 2019, update 11. The upgrade went fine, but all of my topics lost their auto-numbered steps:  When I click the Topic tab under Properties, RH hangs for several minutes before displaying the Topic Properties:Once I'm able to double check that the correct CSS is applied (and it is), checking the autonumbering for the paragraph doesn't seem to reveal why all steps are listed as Step 1: Is there a fix for the slow response time for Topic Properties and my autonumbering? Hello! I am fortunate enough (read the sarcasm...) to be working on a project in Robohelp Classic; it's being moved to the 2019 version but until then it has to be maintained in Classic.  There are an absolute TON of snippets in the project and I would like to be able to see how many times each snippet is used and if possible, the location(s) where each snippet is used. Please know that I have performed many searches on this forum to find the answer.  It must be so simple.... I've imported a Responsive 2017 project into 2019 new UI.  Many things require tweaking, and I'm still finding things that didn't carry over.   😞 One of the things that didn't carryover is how the search results display.  In 2017, the search results displayed the first few lines from the page along with breadcrumbs.  In 2019, the search results displays part of the sentence the search term is in and the filepath (as in filenames).   In 2017, I could replace the filename with breadcrumbs by toggling the "Show Context in Search Results" option on.  I can not find this option in 2019. How can I have the search results display just the few lines from the page?  The search results appear in the TOC pane, so having random, partial sentences display under the title of the page is not useful at all for us.&nbsp

Hi, I'm testing a trial version of RH 2019, updated with update 14.  I currently use RH 2017. When I imported my project from RH 2017 to RH 2019 (new UI) I received an error on the css file.  When I opened the project and generated it, all of my numbered lists did not have any formatting.  The css error did not give me any indication what the problem was and so far, this is the only issue I've found.   I reviewed the css and determined the style name for numbered lists is "rh.list.Numbered-multistyle".   I am unable to edit the numbering or anything for this style.  I could open it in a CSS editor and edit it, but I'd rather have a cleaner css. (i.e., because I'm not confident in my css abilities) When I imported my project from RH 2017 to RH 2019 (Classic) I did not receive the css error and the generated project looks okay. I have 2 questions: How could I easily get rid of the "rh.list.Numbered-multistyle" style, create

I was notified by Google about a Mobile Usability Issue for my RH 2017 project (Responsive HTML5 output with Indigo Layout) because viewport tag is not set (for all pages).If I navigate the TOC, each page is correctly open with the viewport tag set<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1, maximum-scale=3, user-scalable=yes">, but if I open a page in a new tab, the page is shown as a standalone html page (not in full context), and the viewport tag disappears from html source.Is there any way in RH 2017 to set viewport tag as default for pages open in new tabs? Or, as an alternative, is it possible to open pages in a new tab, in full context? Thank you.

Hi All,I updated robohelp to the latest version 2019.0.13. I am so glad to see that they have fixed the issue I had raised for Adobe 2019 FM Book and RH Linking Issue   However, after this update, search is not working on projects created using Classic RH 2019. It simply does not yield any results. Has anyone else faced this issue. ThanksSharada 

Hello, i am using RoboHelp 2019 to write technical documents and to creat webhelp files for e-services. I connected each file with its service using the map ids (page ids), but the weird thing is that when the files were generated and deployed on the site the online help page only opens the defualt page not the online help page for the selected service. Am i missing something?

Hi All,The workflow am using is:Link FM Book to Robohelp.Create master page, and add the custom CSSTag the master page, and publish help The rest of the content is appearing as expected. I'm using RoboHelp 2019 Classic.  I have a TOC for a procedures guidebook that I made considerable changes to.  When I publish the output using Responsive HTML5, the index-1.aspx file doesn't incorporate the changes I've made to the TOC. The HTML file does have the changes but we use  the aspx file. What steps am I missing?

I bought 2019 but now I've got some issues with strange letters in the HTML output. I've got the swedish version and we have the letters åäö but its never been an issue with the older version we had. And its just under the search-tab. Do you know how I'll fix it?

I would like to be able to individually define the width of table columns using a stylesheet, however it seems that because of the way that Robohelp 2019 creates tables this is not possible without modifying the HTML each time.  For example, if I create a three-column table, a <colgroup> is generated automatically in the HTML to force those columns to be equal widths.  <colgroup> <col style="width:33.33%" /> <col style="width:33.33%" /> <col style="width:33.33%" /> </colgroup> If I attempt to apply a column width in my stylesheet, nothing happens. Note that in my testing examples I've also added color in, but I don't really care about the color in my use case; I'm just doing that as a sanity check. table.test col:first-child { width: 10%; background-color: #ff0000; } table.test col:nth-child(3){ width: 40%; background-color: #00ff00; } The background-color is applied, but the column width

This just started happening in every help project (existing and newly created projects) -- in Design view, all text that has a conditional build tag applied is invisible (has vanished).In HTML source code view, I can see the text and the tag (for example: <?rh-cbt_start condition="Print" ?>Help<?rh-cbt_end ?>).In HTML source code view, if I remove the conditional build tag and switch back to Design view, the text reappears.Because this is happening in all projects, it looks like a global setting, but I cannot find the setting.Can anyone help with this?I am using RoboHelp 2017 (13.0.2.334) on Windows 10 Pro version 1709

Hi, In February 2018, I filed a bug with Adobe about a search issue with RH 2017,  Search doesn't work properly when a search term contains the % character  (RH-1377) In December 2019, I received an email saying it was fixed.  There was no indication of what version it was fixed in, except "update 10".  Update 10 of WHAT?    Yesterday, I downloaded a trial version of RH 2019 to test a few things, including this bug and another bug I filed.  So, I upgraded my RH 2017 Responsive HTML project to RH 2019 Classic, and regnerated the doc.  This bug does not seem to be fixed!  However, the text of the email suggested I needed to define some parameters.  Can anyone tell me where to find "Preset -> Search Tab" from the Adobe's comments : We have fixed this issue. In all of my Robohelp content, there is a transparent rectangle/square that appears on all of my images.Please note that all my Rob help content are linked to my Framemaker source material. In Framemaker, I do not see this same rectangle/square. See image below... How do I resolve this issue?

Hello! I hope this finds you all healthy and safe during these horrible times 😞 I have a ridiculously large flowchart that I cannot make any smaller. I decided to insert it as a baggage file into my topic using an image map, and allow users to download it. The process is very unlikely to change.  I inserted a smaller image into my topic, and wanted to allow the user to click on that image to download the fullsize version. But it does not seem to work. I can have them click and view a larger image of the flowchart, but that is not my desired outcome. Is this possible? Or do I have to settle? Many thanks,Anahid

I have deleted specific files from a RoboHelp project (deleted from project files and TOC). When I generate that project and search for those deleted files, they continue to show in the search. Do those files need to be removed from another folder, too? Thank you.
