Dear Community,Wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar issue and found a solution. Attempting to designate a custom folder for Audio Previews but Premiere does not save the location and reverts to the default Documents folder.
We are now able to "Save a copy" of a Team Project when it doesn't want to sync to the cloud. We had to use this feature, but we are a bit confused about what we are supposed to do after. For instance,Editor A worked from 10 to 12 and had to "Save a copy" because their project was not syncing. Editor B worked from 10 to 12 but was able to publish normally. What does Editor A suppose to do next? Invite Editor B to the "copied" version? If we do that, Editor B's progress is not there. What's the best way to merge the copied version of Editor A and the publised version of Editor B? Thank you,
Since the new profiles feature, we are in a position where existing Team Projects for AE and PP are in a user's personal profile, and new projects that they are invited to are in the business profile. When working across multiple projects we're having to log in and out. I contacted Adobe support to ask them how to move Team Projects and they spent about an hour in the chat repeatedly linking me to the articlc on moving Creative Cloud files etc, which doesn't cover Team Projects (unless I really am being dense, it's possible). Eventually escalated to a scheduled expert call - but they never called. Does anyone know how to do this? It's driving us mad (and I'm mindful that we might ultimately lose access to older projects if we ignore the problem). Thanks -_-
I have a team of four editors on a Team Project. We just finished a very similar Team Project without difficulty, but this new Team Project has run into immediate trouble. I would appreciate help from @Udo_Pawlik or anyone. Udo, I can invite you to the Team Project if you'll please tell me how. The problems: Premiere is showing editor 1 that editor 2 is editing every sequence in the project—but it's showing editor 2 that editor 3 is editing every sequence, a nonsensical circular ring of locks. No editor would be intentionally editing every sequence. Even if someone goofed with media mapping or relinking, as I've seen happen before, I don't think that every sequence would be affected.Last night Premiere showed me that one editor was editing everything, but now it shows me that a different editor is editing everything. One editor reported that he had only just opened the Team Project for the first time when Premiere showed a "Save A Copy" dialog: "You have 1100 sequen
Hello - Is there an issue with Adobe's Cloud servers today? My editor and I have been collaborating on a Team Project for weeks, and suddenly this morning when I open Premiere it tells me I am Disconnected - I have logged in and out of Premiere, out of CC app, I have rebooted, installed and uninstalled applications - all the usual troubleshooting tricks. I can no longer access or create Team Projects on my personal computer, and I cannot create or access them on any other system in the building. I can login to CC with no problems, I have no other issues with Adobe's suite, I can install apps, I can install updates for applications I don't use ... but Team Projects will not "switch on" so to speakCurrently using v24.6.5 on MacOS 15.5I tried 25.3 too, no dice.Screengrabs attached below.
Is there a way to do this? We have had nothing but bugs and issues with editors working on the same tings and endless updates and publishing to end up with a ton of duplicated sequences. I just want to get back to a regular project and would love to try out the Productions workflow as we have a pretty huge documentary on our hands, close to 80TB of footage so far. Any help, links, or insights are greatly appreciated in advance, and I will also express my gratitude in post.
I am having an issue where I am unable to open any team projects. I am on Windows with everything up to date and using the latest versions. I have the same issue with the Beta version. I open premiere, go to File > Open Team Project and select any team project from the list and when I click on it, the "opening team project" box breafly appears as normal, but then once it goes away, nothing happens. I have lots of team projects I need to access.I first thought it might have been a corrupted project but my colleagues can access them without issue and I have tried to open any of them and it's still giving me the same issue. I have tried uninstalling Premiere Pro and installing the Beta version and it gives the same issue.Everything was working fine yesterday, but at the end of the day, Premiere Pro Team Project I was working on stopped saving and wouldn't publish and then froze, so I had to force quit using the Task Manager. After that, the problem began. If I make a new team proje
We have 2 separate edit suites using 2 different team accounts. Yesterday both machines stopped allowing us access to any of the teams projects. We can access the list of porjects to select but now it will just bounce us back to the opening home screen. We are experienced production house and have been using teams for the last 5 years. We have tried all the usual - options REBOOT / RE_INSTALL / CLEAR CACHES etc but no avail. We can create new team projects and then import an auto save file which seems a really longwinded thing to do and doesn't solve the issue that then might reoccur. Also currently it would let us invite other collabortors to see if they can open the project files. Its almost as if it can't communicate with the cloud but our internet / netwrok is working fine. Servers have been rebooted etc.Any thoughts from anyone. Thanks
Unable to open past Team Projects in the new premiere update (version 25.0.0 (Build 61)The bug appears to be with "Processing loaded assets," (image attached) it gets stuck/hangs on this process and freezes the entire program until you force quite.I've tried clearing/cleaning and also moving my cache database, as well as making sure all permissions are admitted. After spending some days working on a single sequence, I wanted to publish my changes, but it wouldn't let me, it just stayed forever in the process bar window - I had to eventually click "cancel". I later noticed a message saying something like Premiere hasn't been able to sync since 5/30. It was 6/04 when I noticed the message. I couldn't save the project as a local one because it wanted me to publish my changes first, so I had to quit without publishing, hoping to recover from an "auto save" version. I opened the project again, but in the auto save pane, the latest version was from 5/30. I went to the Team Projects auto save local folder and found a .tpr file that was last modified on 6/04 - so I have hope! Right?!How do I open this .tpr file or how sould I go about recovering what I did if I was not allow to publish it? Thank you,I am on a Mac - Premiere 25.2
Hi - I'm looking for some help with a potential bug in an AE team project. I have set up several rigs in AE that make use of the media replacement function in essential properties. There are some that I've set up to replace images, others that are set up to replace compositions. All appear to work as expected until we publish and close the project. Once we re-open the project, all of the media replacements have reset to their default setting. The option to drag and drop new media is also gone until we hit the button to "pull from primary comp". I saved the project down to a local version, and it all functioned as expected, so it appears to be the team project causing this. I'm hoping this is a bug and not a quirk of how media is handled in the team projects.....?Thanks, Matt
I'm having an issue where I cannot publish my changes because our Premiere Pro Team Project is giving me the error "A newer version of the Team Project has been published...". The thing is, I've already updated several times, so in theory I should have the latest version of the team project. After updating the team project I'll receive the error above. I'll hit okay, and the Update button will be greyed out and the Publish button will be available. I hit update and I get the same error over and over again. I've tried:Making sure my Premiere Pro is updated to 24.4.1 (It was)Restarting my computerUninstalling Premiere Pro, Restarting my computer, Reinstalling Premiere ProUninstalling Premiere Pro, Restarting my computer, Resinstalling an Older Version of Premiere Pro. All did not work. Is there someone that can help me please?
I bought a gaming laptop to edit my YouTube footage at work since I'm there 8 hours Monday through Friday and on slow times of the day I could edit my footage to make my videos get done quicker. i have transferred my files over to the laptop with my proxies and made my premiere pro project into a teams project. I have access to it on my laptop and I made a bunch of edits. I do not have wifi at work so I edited it all offline. I used my data on my phone to click "publish" but it said soemthing about it failing since my "main device" is the "priority" device or something like that and I couldn't publish/save on my laptop unless I turned it into its own new project which then deleted all of my edits I made. Is there a way I can make it so my pc at home and laptop are both primary devices so I can work n my project at work? If so is there a way I could save it offline and publish it once I get home? I just spent $2000 on a really good laptop to make my edits go faster and just wa
Adobe Premiere 2024 (All Versions)Mac Studio 2023 Running Sonoma 14.4.1To Reproduce this issue, you must be in a Team Project with multiple users. Once there are a few sequences in the project, either by clicking on another users sequence or just being in the project long enough, these "Update/Copy Loops" will make themselves apprent. This issue has gone from kind of annoying but workable to unbearable So our team uses Team Projects. We have been using them since the feature/setup first debuted as we are a multi person team who often work on the same projects together. We would each work on a sequence of our own, and share our changes, and then combine things into another sequence as we progressed or copy clips from one sequence user is in into another users sequence. Premiere Team Projects used to have no problems with this. Nowadays though, there is this issue where if you have someone elses sequence open, they or you can no longer edit into it or do anything with it. That was fi
I was working on a team project by myself until it suddenly crashed. I tried to open the project again, but every time I tried it would be stuck loading while finding media. This is partially my fault, but I archived the team project without converting and saving a copy of the project. Now I cannot recover the project from the archive, and even if it works the project might be corrupted and unable to be opened. I am on windows and safe mode doesnt seem to change anything.
Alguém me pode ajudar? Obrigada!
Hi! i need help! i will create an team project, for me and one more editor, i have all footage on my pc and he have the footage on his pc. If i create this project, and invite him, and first time he link the footage, the project can save each footage path? so if we close and open the project we wont need to relink all over again? the goal is for him to relink the media only first time and be able to work on the same project, but we are on different computers, diferent media paths. Sorry about my english!!Thank you!
Hi, I have a problem with a team project where I try to relink offline media but premiere are not remembering the old path. We've been two people working on this project from two different locations and each of us has an external hard drive with all the footage. We've been working on around 15 different projects at the same time with the same set up and it has worked fine for the most part but this project doesn't seem to work for any of us without going in and trying to find the files manually and relink it. I've tried to open a couple of auto saves but still have the same issue, I've also tried to convert it to a local project but that hasn't helped either. Does anyone know how to fix this? See the attached image on how the files show up when I try to relink them. It's just one in the image but the project contain a whole lot more files that has the same issue.
Hello! If I convert a team project to a standalone project, do I lose the team project version?
Hi - Could someone explain what the 'import' button in the Media Browser when viewing old versions of Team Projects is meant to do? It seems to imply that you can import media, sequences, comps etc from an old version of a team project, but so far all it does it bring up a loading dialogue box and then...nothing. We've been having issues with sequences randomly disappearing from our team project, and having to create a new Team Project from an old version each time isn't ideal. If we could recover assets from old versions, that would be grand. Thanks, Matt @Udo_Pawlik - I spotted that you're quite active in this forum, so you may be able to help?
Trying Teams projects again after several years to see if it actually works and one hour in have hit a crazy buggy issue. I have the SIMPLIEST project in Premiere. A literal Power Point presentation to VO that needs some of the slides animated in AE. I've invited one other member but she hasn't accepted yet and I began working myself. I created a Team After Effects project after converting the Premiere project we started to a Team project. I send a slide and a section VO to AE via "Replace with AE Comp" and boom it shows up in AE. I do my animating and it shows up in Premiere as expected. AE tells me all the changes are synched. Publish changes in Premiere. I quit AE on accident. Start it back up and open the project and it is completely EMPTY. Go back to Premiere and the linked comp is fine. I try re-opening in AE. I search the internet and this forum for an answer. On a lark I just grab somemore media and sen
Hello, I convert a local project to a team project and it works ok until this morning. The project won't load or publish. If I close the software, I dont' know if i would lose the progress. Also, how to save a team project copy to local storage? Thanks.
I recieved an invitation to a Team Project in Premiere Pro. When I go the notifications tab on CC Desktop and select "Accept" to the invite, a blue wheel spins for a moment before the button simply resets itself, neither accepting or declining the invitation. I've tried numerous times and have also tried accepting the invite within Premiere Pro App - the same thing happens, a blue bar appears for a moment and then the button resets, not accepting the invite. Has anyone had this happen? Any way to resolve? This isn't the first Team Project I've accepted, but this is the first time I've encountered this issue.
Ma configuration :Mac Studio M1 ultra128 Go de ram, 2 ToMacOs Sonoma 14.6.1
Hi everyone, I have a question about team collab feature in Premiere Pro.Something has changed in premiere pro Temas. Before in the invitations screen, an invitation appeared with the date or name of how it was created.
