As anyone who has used AE in a team will probably know, working on a the same job together has been a nightmare for years. Team Projects looks like it might go some way to sorting this but why have we only got a cloud based version of it? It makes far more sense to be able to do this across a local network, no? Same concept but without having to rely on uploading to a cloud somewhere. This would be amazing for our workflow. Also, why do Team Projects operate using a live save but we don't get this with standard projects? Massively impractical and very laggy when saving on line but a live save to a local file makes far more sense. Great concept but poor implementation.
In premiere when I share an edit with team project I write my comments on what I've done and share it. How do my team members see that comment ?
I have started a Team project on a new video from an existing series of videos I have been working on for awhile. I did this because we have multiple people working on these videos and I thought a team project would be great way to help with our workflow. Boy was I wrong. Why can't I import in already made comps from an older AE project that I want to reuse again in Pr team Project? I have bumpers I made for each video that I just need to switch out logos and send to the project but Team projects will not let me do this. I even opened up a A Eproject as the team project and it still did not update correctly in Premiere pro. How can I bring in old AE Comps into a team project? Was this thought out before hand or does team projects only work with a brand new project that are not going to use anything from existing project? Also have had many sync issues with it as well. Any help would be great. Also Dynamic link does not work the same way in a te
I am attempting to paste a clip from a premiere pro team project into after effects. However, upon pasting the clip, the footage appears as offline/unrecognized media and I am given this error message:Does anyone have a fix or know why this is happening? Thanks
Is there any way that two or more (up to 5) editors work on the same project and open same video files using local network (NAS or SAN) without using cloud service (Internet connection is slow and they work on 4K Video ) ?any software or license .. etc?
I work with another producer and we need to share a project. We have invited each other and can open the team project but the sequence is not there no matter what we do. Is this a setting? And if so, can someone please tell us the best setting for sharing both the footage and sequence of an existing project? Thank you!
Hi,We have a project that wont save - the little sync icon keeps flashing in the bottom corner, but never finishes (left it like that for a few hours). If we try and close Premiere or push changes it just says we cant until the project has saved. And quitting will lose all changes.Any ideas? Or do we quit and lose all the work? Does Premiere store a local version of the project before it sync'd to team projects that we can access? Otherwise its a pretty much fundamental bug, as we have lost 4 hours of work today while a editor worked locally (we know its beta, so not moaning about that aspect - we knew what we were testing )ThanksCraig
Anyone else having problems sharing Team Projects or Invites? No one on our team can share without timing out this morning.10:26 PSTMaybe Amazon server issue again...???
When sharing a team project, the save seems to "hang" and appears to be processing for a long time. I'm attaching the actual error I get...usually after 30 mins or so. Its a very small audio file, so its not the size of the file. I'm assuming its a setting somewhere, but we've shared team project files before and have not had this issue. I'm also including the the "processing" looks like. Would love to know what's happening here...any ideas? We have the most recent versions of Premiere Pro. Thanks in advance. - SMC
There is some folk wisdom running around that says it's good sometimes to delete a folder from your computer named "Team Projects Local Hub." You should never delete this folder unless specifically, personally, instructed to do so by Adobe Support. And even if Adobe Support tells you to delete it, you should probably only rename it – you should probably not permanently delete it. You should certainly never do anything with this folder while Premiere Pro, After Effects, Prelude, or Media Encoder is running. Data in this folder contains the Team Projects auto-save information for your local computer, and it is used to store and retrieve auto-saved versions of your Team Project using the auto-save history feature of the Media Browser. Deleting this data will not usually solve Team Projects synchronization problems.
I currently have a call into Adobe to figure this out. But where do we go to see these comments? We have a big project coming up and there are 3 editors working on the project and we can not for the life of us find these comments once they are sent to the other editor. I am try to figure out why there is a comment box at this moment! HA HA everything else works great.
I've been working with Team Projects and Premiere for a couple of month now. My troubles started two days ago. I can not any longer open a Team Project. "Preparing elements" it freezes. Also when I try to import the old project into an new team project using media browser there are no files loaded. i can still open old team projects. My editor also set up a new team project exporting to an offline project and rebuilding a new team project with the effect that there a no files visible on my side.
I feel like im one of the few editors who uses windows (i build my own). If I start a team project on Premiere, can an editor in OSX/mac work on it?Thank You
I've been working on a team project for a few weeks now, and today when I opened premiere pro and clicked on "Open Team Project" it loaded for a second and then it gave me a notification explaining what Team Projects were like I have never opened them before. I can't find the video I have been working on for some time, and when the other person on project tried to open their team projects it loaded for a long time but wouldn't open. Where do Team Projects save to? Is the project saved somewhere else that I can open it? I have no idea what happened but possibly of note is that when I open PPro and it shows the "recent" videos it only shows the video I worked on earlier today, and the video I worked on yesterday, not the long list of different videos I've made over the past few weeks. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated!
Hi there, me and my team have started including Team Projects with our work flow, it’s been going smoothly for the past few days until we ran into a dead end as our project stopped saving. Everytime we tried to save it froze on the loading (i.e. push to other collaborators) screen indefinitely; this also happened when trying convert it into a regular PP project. Bottom line we could not save the work, which set our editor back 5-6 hours, half a days work was lost. There was a SaveAll option which seemed to create an auto-save but we are unable to find that file. Would you have an idea where we can find that auto save file? The project data seemed to have been pushed somewhere when doing “save all”. In its current state the TeamProjects function seems rather unreliable if we can’t save or auto-save in any way. Thanks!
Hi,This is the situation:I've got a team project open in Premiere Pro (2017 1.2)I've got an After Effects project open (normal project, not a team project)Very often, I prepare a quick edit in Premiere Pro, since editing is not so handy in After Effects. Then I copy/paste the edited clips straight from the Premiere timeline in my After Effects composition. In traditional projects, this works perfectly, but in a team project I've got the error that After Effects can't find the file that I want to copy. The error window refers to a preview file.I think After Effects is looking for this preview file, but can't find it since it is somewhere on the creative cloud because the Premiere Project is a team project.I don't know where the Premiere Team project is located on the creative cloud, nor where its previews are.I reproduced the situation on a different computer - and it has the same behaviour. So I think this is a bug or missing feature in team projects.(I don't want to use dynamic linking
I really need some help with this. I had someone on adobe support for three hours controlling my pc and my partners pc with some general success - team projects is buggy as hell and crashed both our computers in various ways - finally reverted back to Premiere 2017 from 2018 and all seemed to be starting up okay at least, except the media is not linking on my partner's pc - it's all offline. The media management at first showed no indication that the media was even offline, it seemed to think everything was fine. I manually deleted the media mappings and tried to create a new media mapping, but this made no difference - there was no indication that it worked and it clearly didn't because the media stays offline. So then I manually made all media offline and deleted the mappings and now there isn't even a way to create a new mapping. If I try to link a single clip individually it comes up with a media mismatch warning saying the audio clip references will be deleted! Is there any way aro
Hi!Has somebody open a team project in his version?I Still have problems on the 11.x.x versión.im not sure to make the upgrade.THanks!
Team project problems somebody have solution for this ?
How do I create an Adobe Anywhere server, and connect to it, to use it for a team project in premiere pro?
So I'm starting off with Premiere and I'm making videos for someone and would like to enable sharing / collaborating features with them. I clicked on "new team project" but it popped up a message stating that upgrade required, provided me with no link. So I clicked the ok button and it closed. This feature looks awesome but no clear path on how to enable it. I go to my account and there is no option to upgrade to the Business Creative Cloud. What options does an individual have when sharing an Adobe Cloud file from an individual account? I would like to have the real time collaboration ability but paying $20 to $30 extra / mo is ridiculous. Instead of upgrading do I have to create a new business account? ,Ricky
Hi!We've been testing out Team Project in Premiere Pro and cannot figure out how could two editors work on the same timeline simultaneously? One at a time is certainly no problem as no conflicts ever occurs. But if one works on the ending and another one on the intro let's say, then whoever accepts 'Shared Changes' first loses all his work.I see how when resolving conflicts, I can copy & rename my version and then accepts his, but this only duplicates our timelines, correct? My new changes never make it onto his? I'm confused...Anyone could shed a light on what it is I'm missing here? Thanks
I am working on a team project in premiere pro and I just shared the changes with my partner. Now I am trying to link the project media in my partners timeline to our creative cloud assets. I have lassoed all of my media in the timeline and clicked link media. However, when the link media dialog box appears there are no broken links in it. The dialog box is completely empty and I cannot figure out why. Does anyone know how to fix this? Also, I do not have the option to link media when I right click on my assets in my project panel nor do I have the option to link media from the "file" drop down menu.I know I can work around this issue by right clicking my assets in the project panel and choosing "Replace Footage," but, then I will have to do that for every single assets.I must note that if I convert the team project to a project I am able to link media. In other words, all link media options are available and when the link media dialog box pops up the broken links appear. Perhaps
