Hi,I have Acrobat Pro ver8 with S/N. I installed it on old PC but this PC is damaged and could not use anymore. I reinstall it on new PC but when active product, I got an error Maximum allowed devices. I could not deactive it on old PC, on account portal page there are no any activated devices.How to active on new PC?Pls help me. Thanks

Hi,I've been trying to install Acrobat for a few days now, either through Creative Cloud or directly on my computer using Acrobat DC. It always gets to the same point and then says the installation failed with the following message:Exit Code: 7Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. Hi,I’m running Acrobat Pro (through Creative Cloud Pro) with AI Assistant for Acrobat ($4.99 monthly plan), Version 2025.001.20937.Whenever I try the generative summary it starts the job, but stops approximately midway after generating roughly 1500-1600 words. And then after about 20 seconds the generated text disappears with the following error message: “Generative summary didn’t find anything to summarize in this file.”Is there a way to get it to work properly? Am I doing anything wrong?Most the documents I try to summarize are between 300-600 pages. Is there a max document length for it to function properly?Any help greatly appreciated--thanks!R

Hello!This one has really stumped me...I'm trying to use interactive buttons to control an embedded video. I can see that under action buttons there is "Multmedia Operation Acrobat 9 or later". clicking this even shows my embedded video as a valid target for these actions.  Setting a button to "play", another to "pause", various chapter buttons etc etc. Previewing the document, the video itself works as expected. The issue is the action buttons. They all do the same thing. Nothing. Is this a legacy action that no longer works for interactive buttons/videos? video is mp4 exported h.264 out of premiere. not sure where the dissconect could be coming from. Would javascript be the better approach?

Hi, I tried to use Acrobat Pro today and it kept crashing as soon as it was opened, so I uninstalled it with Revo Uninstaller and then tried to reinstall it from Creative Cloud.  I keep getting and error message about needing a path to AcroRead.msi (see attached png image).  How can I get acrobat installed?  Thanks.Zaffer

Hi, I recently started consulting in a hospital. I need to be able to fill out forms in front of the patient and then have them sign the form on my Ipad infront of me. I could not find an inperson form signature video. The patients do not have emails for me to send the forms to via email and have them click on the e-sign option. Is there a way for me to fill in the form asking the patient the form questions, then having them sign the form in the location they need to sign? this is the most important feature in my work flow. please advise.  Additionally, is there a way to set buttons to export specific pages in the long pdf form to print to pdf or save the specific pages in a specific order? please advise. 

So I got this:   Your Adobe Case ADB-42876175-W3P4 I have a 2013 version of Acrobat Pro XI.  I used to have it on other computers.  I destroyed those computers because they were out of date (HP Pavillions).   I want to reload the software (which I know is out of date and does not update) onto another computer but I get the "program is used on too many devices, deactivate other devices" language.  In my Adobe account there are NO devices showing.  Can't deactivate a device that doesn't show up.  I asked if Adobe could look up my devices by the Product Serial Number.   No luck (she probably really didn't know to be honest).  How do you deactivate devices that are not on your Adobe Account?    Thanks.

  I have an extra date calculation and I need a solution. The `calculo2` function is a number calculated in the previous item, but I need it to be copied to a location in the `DPP` function, and I'm not able to do that. I'm trying to save a 7-page PDF, but it's saving as 210mb. Compressing the file works with Adobe's online compressor, but the images become very blurry. Am I missing something? There are 6 images spread across 7 pages.

I just started my Creative Cloud account, though I have had the Creative Cloud app downloaded on my laptop for a couple years now. I have never run into this problem until now. Today, I created pdfs like I normally do (these ones were created using the Publish feature in Vectorworks). I downloaded Adobe Photoshop and tried to drag one of the pdfs into Photoshop, but was prompted to input a password. I did not create a password for this pdf. I did not previously have Adobe Acrobat downloaded, so I don't know why it has a password. I also cannot find the setting to turn off automatically creating passwords for my pdfs. This affects all the pdfs I have created today but none of the pdfs I had downloaded previously. What do I do?

I have two-sided documents, and I do not need to see the back page on some of them, while others I do. Is there a way to "detect" certain text and prompt the system to ignore that page? No, the page does not have any bar codes that can be detected. If it matters, I have a Paper Stream IP fi-7160.

My name is Garry Ford  I have purchased outrigh licenses for CS6, Adobe Arcobat 10. pro and Lightroom in 2013 and registered them. For some unknown reason Lightroom 5.7 does not show as being registered now, but CS6 and Adobet Acrobat 10.0 (2nd copy, first in CS6) do. I am fully aware Adobe no longer provides support for CS6. I had CS6 complete installed on two computers and one copy of Acrobat 10.0 on a third computer.My older computer completely crashed. Needed new processor And motherboard, but drives okay. I attached the old drives top a new motherboard processor of the same type. When I went to run a CS6 program (any) told that I need to de-register a computer to register a new one. Understood. Hello,  We are having an issue with our fillable Adobe Form.  We have PDF document templates that we edit in Adobe. The information in the template is held within a table. The last column in the table is where we put the most information. Before this issue, the text within this box was set to auto-size; therefore, if there is a lot of text in the box, the text will be small, and if there is little text in the box, the font will be large.  We recently updated our templates, and the auto-size feature is no longer working.  We have tried reading through several forums, but have not found a solution.  We do not want to use the 'scroll long text' option under the prepare form tool, because we lock the PDFs after they are finalized. Therefore, the end recipient would not be able to scroll the text.  Any help would be appreciated. 

Hi there,  Long time reader, first time poster! Have searched and can't find this topic. I am usuing Acrobat 25.1, no updates oustanding. Where is the 'Check accessibility' tool gone?  I can't find reading order either.  Sceenshot below of all that appears in accessibility tools.     

I have used Adobe acrobat to change pdf files to rtf, then I use calibre to convert the rtf files to a book form more usable on my e-reader. Now said pdf files are being converted to a large rtf file not useable by calibre. And yes they are legal files. So, what has changed?

Hi, I am a legal advisor, and we need to provide email evidence in court, and need to convert the email to a PDF, and sometimes in bulk too. At this point, most of my assistance time goes into downloading and printing. Is there a way to bulk convert email to PDF, a one-stop solution? 

I am attempting to create a document where the person can select 1 or more options in the ListBox feature  (or drop down menu if easier?) and this would autofill different text fields based on the selection – each selection would have a corresponding phrase that would autofill a in a text field. Then, each text field can only be used once, so once the first text field has a phrase in it, the next phrase (corresponding to listbox selection) would auto-insert into the next text field, etc.I had a similar question to this regarding check boxes, so will use the same examples here but instead of each check box specific to each item, it would be a list box (or drop down menu) that would have all possible selections (ex: blood work, xrays, follow up appointment, etc.) in the one listbox/drop down menu and each selection inside of the box would autofill a specific phrase. If this is too complex or complicated, please let me know I’m more than happy to stick with check boxes. Also, here is
