I need some information regarding PDF security to prevent scraping by third-party applications. We are facing an issue where such applications are extracting customer statement data from PDFs, reformatting them, and using the information for personalized offers. This is resulting in a potential business loss for us.Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Recently Acrobat DC has started asking about saving changes before closing upon opening every single PDF document.  No changes have been made ever, yet it still asks and forces me to answer to get out of the document.I have read other articles that mentioned possibly corrupt PDF documents, but I don't think that is relevant as it happens on every document.  I have even created new PDFs from blank Word documents.  This also happens with others in my organization.Any ideas on how to get rid of this very annoying, unnecessary, and time-wasting prompt?

hallo ins rund der adobe-community, es läßt sich mal wieder nicht aus acrobat ausdrucken. die software ist nicht gerade günstig, so sollte man erwarten können, dass wenigstens die grundlegenden funktionen ohne probleme laufen. acrobat neu installiert, drucker neu installiert, drucker vom strom genommen nicht bringt den audruck ins ausgabefach. alle anderen programme haben keine probleme auszudrucken. habe ein kleine video angehängt, die zu druckende datei taucht kurz in der warteliste auf, der drucker zuckt kurz, das war es. hat irgend jemand eine idee?

I'm trying to compare pdf drawings in the latest version of DC Pro Desktop.When I select the files using the compare tool I get a warning:Selected document is a scanned PDF and contains no text. Acrobat will perform image to image comparison only.I've tried opening the file and selecting edit pdf, so it recognises the text and re-saving it, then comparing the re-saved files, but the same response comes up.If I compare the files, it just tells me each and every page has been deleted and replaced, rather than finding the changes.I've resorted to exporting both documents to word, then comparing in word, which is a pretty average fix....Can the pdf's be saved as something that recognises the text and actually compares it?

I have lost trust in Adobe today. I was working on an excel wokrksheet and I wanted to send it to someone. I did not want to send the entire workbook only the sheet I was actively working on. So, I clicked "convert to PDF". i got a warning that I would only be alowed 1 excel to pdf conversion per 30 days. This annoyed me, but I looked over the worksheet and decided it was finished and so i clicked to convert it. It sked me to chose a file and listed my workbook as an option. I looked for some way to limit the conversion to the 1 sheet, but found no such option. So, I chase the workbook, hoping it would alow me to choose a worksheet option, but  was not give such an option. Instead I ended up looking at a PDF of my entire workbook. I tried deleting pages but only got pop ups telling me I would need to join Adobe pro to do this. Hello,I am making an interactive PDF from InDesign CS5 and would like to have the presentation loop. I have my page transitions set, but I don't see anywhere to set the document to loop. Is there a setting within InDesign/Acrobat that I am missing? Is this possible?I am using Acrobat Pro Pro 9.3.3 and InDesign CS5 7.0

When my laptop computer was first set out by the company's IT department they misspelled my name, so every comment I did in adobe would come out with my name spelled wrong, I had the IT guys fix my Laptop's Log in name but when I comment in Adobe, it still shows the same misspelled name, is there a way to make Adobe recognise the new name in the Windows 10 log in?? By the way I have the "Always use log in name for authors name" checkbox checked.

Hi Team, In last couple of moths I've having too many issue with Adobe with windows- application error.Not sure why it keeps happing, I followed these steps which did temporary fixed it1. Find your Adobe Acrobat program.2. Right Click --> Properties.3. Select Compatability tab.4. Click on Run Compatability Troubleshooter.5. Select Try Recommended Settings.Is there a way around to fix this issue permantaly. And why is it giving diffrent code everytime. There are few more but i believe this would doMany thanks          

Anyone else having issues with constantly having to re-authenticate Acrobat?  NOTE TO ADOBE -  You have made what was a wonderful and convenient tool into a cumbersome and painful one by the introduction of your overly paranoid licensing protocol.   Sign in- sign out – get a code – re-enter passwords FOR WHAT?  So registered users can use the software meant to make communication and sharing documents easier?  The list of PDF alternatives is a long one. Get with customer needs and stop the false campaign of “authenticity” against us.

I had purchased a Dell Optiflex 5490 from Dell. With this machine I had purchased Adobe Acrobat Standard 2020 license from them. I am unable to activate my License on my machine. Because with the new Adobe policy you can activate the Adobe Acrobat Standard 2020 only on two computers and because Adobe Support cannot reset the activation count, how to deactivate the Adobe Acrobat license when you want to upgrade your computer?Especially what happens if you also have activated Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Elements 2022?In theory if you sign out from Adobe via Help -> Sign Out it should deactivate ALL Adobe products. However I have just tested this and when I signed out of Elements it didn't deactivated the Acrobat license.How to check if a product is still activated without signing in?

Hello. Adobe, like Microsoft, is now force feeding AI to user even thought they don't want it. AI Assistant is not enable but how do we remove the button. We will NEVER use AI. Any help would be appreciated.

I've created a pdf with fillable fields using Acrobat. The person who is filling it out has Reader (which is of course fine for the purpose of typing in the page). BUT when they've completed the fields, how do they save the pdf as a regular, non-fillable pdf? By selecting just "save" or "save as", the fields still remain editable. They also want to print out a copy of this pdf but don't have a home printer so were going to send it to a local print/copy shop - but would rather not send the editable template version (just as a standard pdf instead). Any suggestions welcome

Hi there!I have been trying to combine multiple single page PDFs into one document.  I have never had an issue with this Tool before.  However, now when I try to combine files, the new combined PDF is just multiple pages of the first document.Example: I have 3 single page PDF files.  When I select 'Combine Files", I click 'Add Files' (I have also tried Add Open Files when all three were open, same result), select the three 1 page files, and click open.  All three separate files appear in the screen.  When I click 'Combine' , Adobe creates the new document with 3 pages, but all 3 pages are just duplicates of the first file.  I've tried different files.  I've tried organizing pages and inserting them in this way. It just always adds the new page as whatever the first document is.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I opted for a free trial for Adobe Acrobat DC, already having Adobe Reader on my laptop. The installer doesn't work and the app doesn't show up on my Mac laptop. I did manage to convert a Word document to a PDF, but I don't know why the app doesn't show up. The installer says double click, which I've done a million times. I don't have any security issues, it's open to new apps. I will soon cancel my free trial. this is very frustrating. I've taken ALL the advice on the website, nothing works

Desativei os complementos Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin e Adobe Document Cloud for Microsoft Outlook - Acrobat e o Outlook voltou a funcionar normalmente. Esse "bug" já é conhecido? It always gets stuck on one account and stays “forever” receiving or syncing. I disabled the add-ins Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin and Adobe Document Cloud for Microsoft Outlook - Acrobat, and Outlook started working normally again. Is this bug already known? I’ve tried repairing Outlook, but that didn’t help. Only disabling those two add-ins solves the issue.

I am new here and trying to post a query here. I have a pdf form with over 50 fields including signature box. I want to export the values as well as field names to excel sheet using javascript so when clicked a button, it creates a file and each field name goes to a new column and below that column in the row it's value also exported. I hope here are many experts who knows how to do it. I tried with other example but not satisfied with the result I wanted. I have a form, "Form A" that I created a few months ago. On Form A, I have image buttons set to "Hidden" that will either stay hidden or will display based on a variable "Total" field. I have created a new form, "Form B," where I've attempted to do the same thing: insert image buttons set to "Hidden" that either stay hidden or toggle to visible based on a variable in the "Total" field. I cannot get Form B to do the same thing that Form A does. I have even changed the image button names and changed the Total field to the exact same settings in Form B that I had in Form A- and it doesn't work in Form B, though it still works in Form A. I have even copied the image buttons containing the JavaScript from Form A and pasted them into Form B. But the debugger on Form B shows me syntax and XML naming errors. Has this happened to anyone else? Best regards,Christine

I used the elegant script at https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/script-that-applies-f-setaction-to-text-fields-with-specific-names-using-some-type-of-wildcard/m-p/15452287#M516095 to successfully rotate my form text fields 90°, but I must be missing something about how to iterate this over all of the pages in the document. It is only acting on the first page of the document. Do I need to push the widgets for each field to an array? Is there a way to use javascript to "duplicate the fields across pages" as in the right-click field menu?
