Using Adobe Pro, every time I open a PDF document on my computer, it asks me to sign in again.  Then once I sign in and enter password, it immediately closes the document I was looking at.  Then I have to reopen the document, sign in again, it closes, and the process repeats endlessly.

I am wondering if it is possible to create a shortcut key or something that would place a specific stamp or image on a PDF document using Adobe Acrobat DC? Thank you in advance.Yok33

Yes unfortunately some printers still demands PDF/X-1a. Problem 1:When converting to PDF/X-1a, there's no option to choose compression. Instead it uses what was used in the original file. If it's ZIP, it's all fine. But if it's JPEG, even if quality is maximal, it saves in low quality with very visible JPEG-artifacts. Problem 2:If there're transparent objects that needs to be flatten. They always saves to low quality JPEG. Even if original is ZIP. The cumbersome workaround:The situation: I have a PDF from a customer, saves as PDFX-4, RGB images (JPEG-max), some transparent objects.1. Open the file in Acrobat and Save Optimized with ZIP-compression.2. Use Flattener Preview to flatten transparency (obviously it's not just a previewer). Set compression to ZIP.3. Now use Preflight to convert to PDF/X-1a.4. Final step is to Save optimized and choose JPEG Maximal. (Optional. Quality will decrease slightly)

Hello all, Anyone else experiencing issues with Adobe Review today? My collaborator said that he initially had access and had added some comments to the Review page, only for the page to suddenly close itself. When he tried to open again, he got a 404 message, and since then, I've been trying the links to get the same thing constantly.  Is it a known bug at the moment?

I am looking for a way to create a flipbook either from InDesign or Acrobat that can be sent to others in a pdf format that isn't connected to the internet. It seems as though I saw this done from an acrobat file years ago, but I can find nothing on it. Thanks!

I'm trying to reinstall Adobe Acrobat Professional 2020 (perpetual license) on a Windows PC. I downloaded the installer from the Adobe link available in my account and entered the serial number associated with this purchase. The serial number was accepted during installation.However, when I launch the application, it prompts me to sign in (which it does automatically), but then I receive a pop-up message stating:Serial Number Upgrade: The serial number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer.(See attached screenshot.)When I enter the correct serial number again, it responds with:The serial number is not for a qualifying product. I have several forms each eith 20 to 30 fields which have no formatting and are just text fields.  I want to programmatically change all fields with name containing "date" to mm/dd/yyyyy format. Is this possible?   I am new to Adobe scripting but I know some javascript. I could not find a method to change the field format from Adobe's JS guide and some quick internet searches did not yield anything that I could work on.

Hallo! Ich habe seit 2 Monaten Acrobat Pro. Ich erstelle ein interaktives Formular mit mehreren Seiten. Von Anfang an hatte ich permanent Probleme mit Abstürzen oder "nicht speicherbar" (gibt dann nur noch Schriftsalat raus).Ich habe mehrfach den Support angerufen, heute hatte ich auch einen Techniker dran... Keine Lösung des Problems. Wieder Abstürze im 2-3 Minutentakt.Es kann doch nicht sein, dass ich für ein Programm, das nicht wirklich funktioniert, 35,69€/ Monat bezahle und Adobe das nicht in den Griff bekommt!  

I have several users getting an access denied Distiller error after updating Acrobat DC to version 25.001.20458. The error pops up randomly even when Acrobat is not in use. I have tried removing DC, running the cleanup tool and reinstalling DC. I also apllied the latest optional update 25.001.20474.I have cleared all temp folders and granted users full control over all Adobe folders, c:\windows \temp and c:\temp. I also tried turning UAC from off to on but the error still comes up intermittently. Has anyone else has this issue?

Dear all,I signed up for Adobe's free trial for the first week and canceled before the trial ended, so there were no active subscriptions on my profile. However, after the trial week was over, I noticed that I was charged for the monthly subscriptions, despite having no active subscriptions. Is this standard procedure, and will Adobe automatically refund me, or do I need to request a refund specifically?Thank you

I continually have a problem with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC when I try to use the redaction tool.  I select the text I want to redact I click 'Apply' The pop-up which should appear (confirming redaction, etc.) appears as a blank box, and the entire programme basically freezes. I can do nothing else, except open my computer's Task Manager and click 'End Task' for Adobe Acrobat. (See attached image.)  This is a huge problem, since my role as an employee and my unit's function requires the ability to fully and securely redact on a daily basis.   I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - Version 2021.005.20048  Can anyone help?  

Benutze windows 11 pro und habe mir das Acrobat Pro installiert. Leider kann ich die Englische Sprache unter Einstellungen Language nicht ändern. Es stehen keine weiteren Sprachen zur Auswahl.Auf dem android Tablet habe ich die deutsche Sprache. Gibt es eine Lösung?

It downloads good and starts installing, but quickly stops with no obvious error message.Win 11 is a new install and has just been rebuilt, has no patches due.Browser is Brave and JavaScript is enabled. Edge is also installed.Other installations are working perfectly.I have tried the full version of Acrobat and that does install.Works perfectly on my old Win 10 Pro PC which I am replacing.

 My brother's printer/scanner up until 2 days ago let me scan into Adobe PRO.  I made no changes and now I get an error - Failed to connect to the device. then error TW5-101-0x0Followed by: Either the scanner driver is not installed or the scanner is not connected I can print from Adobe to the same printer.I can scan from the Brother/Printer scanner into a brother app.I have uninstalled both the brother and adobe software.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My Acrobat Pro won't launch after I installed the Win11 24H2 update.Acrobat distiller works as does LR & PS.When acrobat is started no window opens but it can be seen in the task manager.I have uninstalled via Creative Cloud but now I can't re-install as it gets stuck at 30%. Anyone else having this problem after updating to Win11 24H2 (full official release, not the pre-release version)

I know I can click on the icon to go away. It just seems annoying when I open it up every time and the the blue panel is there and  verify the signatures when I open it up. Is there a way to prevent that thing from showing up?

Seems accessing SharePoint has been broken in the latest Adobe Acrobat DC... again?Using the open from Desktop link on a PDF inside of SharePoint 365 pops up with a prompt to sign into a storage connector. Acknowleding this, Adobe pops up with a site name and URL entry and clicking continue always pops up with the attached invalid site error. Even going to the "Add file storage" directly from Adobe Acrobat and inputting your SharePoint 365 URL directly will get the same error. What's going on and when will this be fixed? I remember this happened before and Adobe fixed something automatically on the backend and everything started working again. Things to note: 1. Appears to be happening to all users.2. Tried with full on site admin to SharePoint, same problem.3. Confirmed happening on 25.001.20744 and 25.001.20693 versions of Adobe Acrobat DC.4. I would love to get a response to this post from someone at Adobe. I have posted about this more than once, the last time probably more than two years ago. Q: Why doesn't Adobe fix the inability to connect an external editor to Acrobat DC (and I believe several prior versions of Acrobat).  When using any external editor in Acrobat, Acrobat freezes like a stone, requiring a forced quit.   Yes, I know that you can copy and paste script from the internal editor to the external editor, work on it and copy and paste it back to Acrobat, but that is not responsive to Adobe's failure to fix this. When you spend hours writing script, the cumulative effect of cutting and pasting repeatedly is a ridiculous annoyance. After years of Adobe not fixing this problem I reiterate what I said the last time: Adobe's failure to fix this is disrespectful of its customers. And for those who might say it is an Apple problem, not Adobe's, I say Adobe has an obligation to work with Apple to fix i
