 I'm unable to send a pdf for e-signing. whenever i select "fill & sign" i only have the option to sign myself, the option to send for e-signing has dropped off. i've updated and repaired the app, and restarted my device.

When combining documents the first page is oversized - how do I fix this one page

I have read forum posts going four years back. Organize pages still does not function. I have multiple users who are trying to simply move a single page to a different location on THE SAME DOCUMENT and cannot do it because for whatever reason, the click and drag feature decides to work on maybe every 10th attempt. I have read over countless forums and hundreds of comments of “fixes” and “work arounds” to see that NONE of it works.From my experience with troubleshooting this issue, I can only say that all of the new “features” that have been added to the organize pages tab has pushed the drag feature behind some magical overlay that my users may or may not be able to get around. I have set pdf/a to never, I have checked security restrictions, I have repaired, I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have spent a literal business week down this rabbit hole. Does anyone have a reasonable solution to this issue?

When the ‘add open files’ dialog box opens there isn’t any color contrast to show selected files.The files in the list always appear the same.  Clicking on any one of the file or more than one (ctrl) doesn’t highlight anything.  Impossible to tell which files are selected or not selected.  In the attached image… both files are selected…. 

After updating my MacBook Pro M1 to macOS 27.0 Golden Gate, Acrobat Pro DC won’t start anymore, neither clicking the app directly nor opening it via a PDF document. Is there any known fix yet?

Hello, Does anyone know if Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024 Classic can be installed in RDS (Microsoft Remote Desktop Service)? I have contacted Adobe support and waiting for a reply. I installed Acrobat Classic: In Remote Desktop, I was still unable to access Acrobat Pro features and received a message indicating that my IT administrator had not granted access. However, when I installed Acrobat Classic locally on my laptop via Software Centre and signed in with the same account, Acrobat Pro features worked successfully. We use Named User License and Federated ID to log in.We had Adobe Acrobat 2020 installed - however that was not NUL and it worked fine

Hi,I have a PDF file of size 56.4 MB stored locally on MacBook's storage. The file has 12,697 pages which is all text. When I try to convert this PDF file to Excel, the Acrobat application simply hangs with no error messages. And at this point, I'm clueless what is going wrong, and how to fix this. I checked and my MacBook's memory usage is high, but less than the total memory of 16GB. Can help and guidance is much helpful?Peace!

Hello everyone,We have been experiencing issues with Adobe for some time now. Our users are working on an RDS server, and after a while they are no longer able to open PDF files with Adobe. When checking the Task Manager, we can see that each user has many Adobe processes running, sometimes up to 30 processes per user.The only way to get PDF files working again is either to manually close the Adobe processes from Task Manager or ask the user to log off and reconnect their session.We are currently running Adobe Acrobat 64-bit version 26.001.21529. 

I have purchased 2015 adobe acrobat pro dc student and teacher edition, i have serial number. recently my computer crashed and i need to instal the program again, but i don’t know how or from where i can  download the program. 

I uninstalled Acrobate reader then downloaded intall file of latest version ( 25.001.21111), I start installation. It seems completed successfully but there is no any software in the pc. I tried this 4-5 times. I also tried 2025.001.20997 it also didn’t work. Can you help please?

When a checkbox is clicked and the checkmark appears, I cannot click the same box to uncheck. What settings am I missing to make this a simple on/ off function?

Converting doc to pdf by right clicking mouse. After converting Adobe automatically opens the pdf version. Can this be stopped? Just convert without opening.

I use Acrobat Pro X but from searching DC has the same issue. I need to deskew without using the OCR (Recognize text) feature because that adds too much file size and I have not found a way to remove OCR text from a file afterwards.If I create an action using the Optimize PDF and make sure the filter options have Deskew ON and everything else off, then check that OCR options remain unchecked it never successfully deskews. It has the box that says it is optimizing but does not deskew. The separate Recognize Text from the tools pane always works fairly well but I’m not looking to run that unless someone has a way to remove the OCR layer in the pdf.Thanks.I just tried the google crappy AI suggestion to use Protection, Remove Hidden information and it appears to have removed the OCR text but not the test file size went from 709 kb to 2,575.This particular file is a 19pg 300 dpi 1 bit black & white scan.

I would like to purchase the software (a perpetual license) without a subscription.  I am unable to see the option on the Adobe website.  I would be happy with Adobe Acrobat Pro XI but that is no longer available and supported.  Does anyone have suggestions?

Whenever I select the “Edit PDF” tool and update text, the formatting changes automatically — sometimes the font changes, spacing shifts, or the layout moves unexpectedly.Has anyone experienced this problem? Why can't adobe acrobat handle even the simplest of small PDF files?It is crashing handling a 13 page mainly text document.Google Chrome can open it more quickly and more reliably than Acrobat.Why is it that a free software like Chrome is more reliable and faster than Acrobat which claims to be the market leader???Please explain.

The Share option still appears as a blank box. I’ve just spent hours reading through posts about this and responses from Adobe. Even though there are countless requests from the community for this to be resolved, there are still NO SOLUTIONS that work, and some questions have not even been answered with a response. Everything Adobe have suggested to try simply doesn’t fix it. The subscription for Adobe apps has recently increased and yet this issue remains unsolved and has done for years - come on Adobe, please help fix this option so that we can do a simple task of sharing files. 

Why the repeated demand to logon for local use of Acrobat ?. Every time I want to open, read, or save a local PDF document it repeatedly opens an Adobe Login window which prevents the Acrobat local window use. . I must then eXit that Login window a half-dozen times (per function) before it stops and allows me to get back to my intended local Acrobat function. . This appears to be an Adobe harassment policy & tactic to encourage unnecessary sharing of my local files.  . A similar complaint “Why must I open Adobe?”, was locked for comment about two years ago, presumably to prevent pile-on complaints, or the posting of this work-around.

I am told that the ONLY way Acrobat now in 2026, in an age when I’d expect us to achieve maximum customizability because we have AI in the most trivial tasks, is by GLOBALLY turning on the visible scroll bar for EVERY SINGLE application on my mac.  Why do you force me to turn on a continuously visible scroll bar in Safari or LaTeX just when I want it on in Acrobat?  You literally removed a setting you had a few months ago in your prior version in Preferences!  Do you just want to make our lives difficult? And the other thing:  why do I even care?  Because only Acrobat, charging customers $1000+ a year, manages to fail at getting something as basic as a scroll bar right:  even when I move my cursor to make the scroll bar appear, your scroll bar toggle is a CONSTANT BEIGE/WHITE so that it blends in with almost all documents.  See image below.And finally?  OK, it’s white, but I can still kind of see it as long as my eyesight is better than the average person sees 50+:  but no, we make it

Hi everyone,I recently scanned a few ID and document pages using my phone, but when I open the PDF in Acrobat, some text looks slightly blurry and not very sharp. I’m trying to make the document clearer for online submission and verification purposes.I already tried rescanning with better lighting, but the quality still doesn’t look as clean as expected after saving as PDF. Is there any setting in Acrobat that can improve scan quality, sharpen text, or make documents look clearer without affecting readability?Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
