I have a quite elaborate Acrobat form. This includes several configuration pages that the customer should never see. To make this work in Reader, these pages are converted to templates and then instances spwned by the build routine. This was all working fine, but has now stopped wroking and is generating the srror message:This operation is not permitted.Is this something that's changed in Reader?No security is applied, everything set to "allowed"Debuggging this is not helped by Adobe now makinn it difficult to have Acrobat DC and Reader installed on the same computer and Reader's limited debugging capabilities.Any help much appreciated.

Hello all.  I have run into an interesting problem.  I recently changed work computers and redownloaded Adobe Acrobat.  It no longer allows for a grayscale printing of documents.  I have to print many documents that do not need to be in color, so I use this feature quite often.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Any ideas on how to correct this error?I am attaching two screenshots of this both with the "print in grayscale" check block both checked and unchecked so you can see what I am talking about.

While creating a job application form, I used copy & paste several times because several fields were similar. My form has a few areas where, if the user decides to use the TAB key to move from one field to the next (instead of clicking in the field), the input jumps around instead of progressing to the next unfilled field to the right. When we add a field, it shows up with a number in its "Name" field in the General tab. I changed the name of these to fit the category I was creating (references, references phone number, references company name...). I would like to have the form react to the TAB key by activating field entry from left to right, top to bottom.Do I have to start over or is there a way to change the order of fields that are not sequenced as desired?Thank you!

Hello all, I hope someone could help. I have a PDF file with multiple links to open different HEIC files and the users have issues with that since the images can't be opened natively in our environment. We do have a HEIC to JPG converter, but to use JPG images, we would need to change extension in the action for hyperlinks from ".HEIC" to ".JPG" and I can't seem to fins a way to do it. Could anyone provide some guidance on how to do this either via Action Wizard or by executing JavaScript or, using automation with VBA?  Thank you

Hey! A small window pops up with the following message which is - Unable to create the temporary folder. Error: 183 - Cannot create a file when that file already exists. Can someone help me get rid of this error?

I frequently get a splash screen on Acrobat DC with a heading of "Collect secure e-signatures fast".  How can I disable that screen so I never see it again?

Ill set the scene. I've recently bought a second M.2 drive for my PC. Last night i wanted to migrate photoshop and lightroom and acrobat to my new SSD. So i follow the logical steps. First i make a folder on my new SSD - E:\Adobe. I direct Creative cloud to this folder. Next step okay i want to migrate my programs, ill click the 3 dots next to the apps. I'm expecting to see a properties option, I'm expecting to see an option to go directly to the install path, Im expecting to see a way that i can repath my photoshop so creative cloud knows where it is. Nothing but a bunch of useless links that take me to web pages. Get mobile app, Open in browser. Seriously? On what planet is any of this stuff helpful to someone who actually wants to use the app? So naturally after realising theres no way to direct creative cloud to my apps i assume it will pick them up if i manually move them to my new folder. So i move all my apps to my new E drive. Creative cloud is pathed now to this

Message that the software is installed on more than 2 computers you have 30 days. In fact it is reinstalled on the same computer due to corruption on the computer. How do I get rid of the message !

I have a scan of a document with Arabic text. I am trying to run OCR on it. I cannot find Arabic in the list of languages under Enhance | Scanned Document | Settings.  I saw some posts online that state that Arabic is not supported and one that says that right to left languages including Hebrew and Arabic are now supported. I am not sure which is true, but I can confirm that Hebrew is now in my list of languages. Is Arabic supported? If so, how do I enable it? 

Hello all,I'm searching up and down this community looking for help on this, but can't find any clear answers.I want to convert a webpage to pdf using the Adobe Acrobat DC "file > create > PDF from webpage" function. I need to download the entire website using the "capture multiple levels" function set to 5 (it will be a pretty massive PDF). The problem is that the website requires a login at the beginning to gain access to your acccount. I've tried logging in first, then using the link in Adobe, but that makes a PDF of only the login page. I've tried "printing" as a PDF and that only makes a PDF of the one page.Are there any work arounds? Any Advice?Thanks

How can i pre-fill a fillable pdf form from data in an excel spreadsheet and then email each individual their pre-filled form for editing, like you would mail merge in office

My many PDFs (which are about linguistics) have a great many links to example sentences that had been mentioned at earlier points in the PDF. As far as I am aware, though, Acrobat has no button for users to press when they want to return to where they were when they pressed the link to see a sentence illustrated elsewhere. So I have to tell them to remember to always press ALT + LEFT-ARROW. when they want to go back. But if they forget this instruction, they will be lost. Could I be missing a 'Go badk' button provided by Acrobat to simply go back to where they were before? 

For the past few months (all autumn tbh) Adobe Acrobat Reader DC keeps opening only seconds after whenever I just exited a game. Doesn't matter what game or how I play it - just from my desktop or through a game client like Steam/Battle.net, it keeps happening. This seems like the opposite problem everyone else has, as whenever I've tried to look it up in Google all I get are only results for the program crashing/closing, not unexpectantly opening.  I've so far found no settings I can edit to make it stop. Only thing I can do every single time is to just simply close the program. But this is getting tiresome after so long. My computer runs Win 10 Home if that helps. Any suggestions?

I keep losing all my highlighted text (i.e. the text is still there, it's just no longer highlighted) in my document when I apply redactions. Please help - I need both to work. Thank you. 

I'm pulling my hair. I've two PDF file. When i open first PDF it's missing E-signature, E-signature block filed, Initials filed and so on. 1 st PDF 2 PDF have everything. How do i get all the fields in 1st PDF.  

I have reports from multiple users across our school networks that they are experiencing issues when attempting to open some PDFs from any webpage or within any program. Upon opening the PDF to view it in browser they get a message saying to view the PDF they 'must have Adobe Reader or Acrobat X or later installed'. The main issue being, it is installed. It can be a new install of either Acrobat or Reader, freshly re-installed, repaired, doesn't matter. I have reimaged multiple machines trying to fix this. It doesn't matter which browser the user is using, (tried IE, Edge, Chrome, and Firefox to no avail). The only consistent factor I have found is that it seems to happen with PDFs that have been emailed specifically, or where the PDF has been generated from an email.The users CAN, however, download the affected PDF, then open it in Acrobat, then edit it, then re-upload it. I am legally blind with tunnel vision and have to enlarge everything to project it onto a TV screen to read.  I am using Adobe Acrobat 8 which is reliable in its OCR and I use Photoshop to improve the contrast of documents in order to run OCR on Acrobat extracting the pages of very large pdf files.  Adobe has discontinued the licenses on this, so if I ever get a new computer and that is highly unlikely as i am on disability, i am screwed.  My computer is from 2015.Can you do two things, create a bundle for the Blind and disabled to do these things with documents so they can see them, and I am happy to explain it all to you as to what I am doing.  Fortunately I learned how to do this when I was fully sighted.  So I know the keyboard shortcuts in the process of conveting images of pdfs in photoship so I can make them somewhat legible in Acrobat to run the OCR.  if you cannot create a process that is free for the disabled to use these products, can you p

I just want to know how to change my login name when I add Comment "balloons."

I have been given Adobe Acrobat Pro License with Redact Feature included but this option is greyed out for me when using Adobe Acrobat Pro Latest version. This option is greyed out for any documents i try to redact , including docs with no security added. I have reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Pro a few times but the issue remains . Tried on another computer but issue remains 

good morning all,I changed my subscription/plan today and now I cannot print to PDF.if I upgrade the account (effectively reverting it back to what it was) will that function return?also, i cannot seem to locate the right "plan" in the listy of choices...is there a way to contact a human at Adobe for help managing my account?any help woudl be approciated, thanks in advance.
