Hello All,I would like to know if there is a way to turn off highlights, strikethroughs, etc... in the comments pane? I only want to see comments or notes in the pane.

HiI  know how to create bookmarks in my PDF. The problem is that when I click on a bookmark it takes me to the page where the bookmark is but does not highlight the specific section or word that I have bookmarked. Please can you assist. When I click on a bookmark I want the specific word or section that I bookmarked highlighted to make it easy to find on the page.

I require code to show text whether Yes or No or 'Blank' is selected in a dropdown if DS PSV = Yes then Text11 visibleif DS PSV = No or 'blank' then Text11 hidden 

How do I disable the Auto Update for Acrobat Reader on my Mac. There is no option for this under Preferences.

Hallo, habe schon viel versucht, aber keine Lösung gefunden: Wie kann ich auf dem iPhone eine E-Signatur anzeigen lassen und/oder diese validieren, um mich mit dem Dokument am Handy ausweisen zu können? Im Adobe Acrobat Reader auf dem iPhone zeigt es mir keine E-Signatur an in dem PDF Dokument!Auf dem Windows PC geht es ohne Probleme.

Hi friends!I would like to prepare a dcoument in Word with footnotes and then in the PDF file, when a reader hovers over the word with the FN a little tooltip box appears witht he text of the FN inside. Used for definitions of terms and people etc.Any ideas how to do this?Thank you So much!Susan

Ich möchte eine große und komplexe Word Date (60mb) in ein pdf umwandeln und erhalte aber eine Fehlermeldung online, dass die Datei zu groß und komplex ist. Wenn ich sie klein mache, dann leidet die Qualität der Bilder. Können Sie mir hier weiterhelfen?  Grüße Daniel Burkhardt 

Price Increase Of 66.7% From February 2024 for Adobe Pro Only, £9.98 to £16.64/month. Outrageous!! Any other user had the same email. I will be cancelling and investigating a work around. 

Some weeks ago this was displayed and I can't figure out how to hide it. I tried reinstalling but with same results. In other words, I didn't accidentally set it on. with other pdf, i have no problems.   now, here's what's baffling me, on win 10 version 22H2 (build 19045.5440)   1.  i've restarted my computer (several times today after trying the various "fixes") 2. i was able to open and edit this pdf yesterday. 3. i've redownload this document (tried with chrome, edge and firefox) and all crash acrobat today. 4. i can open and edit this pdf using reader online without issue. 5. i've checked for acrobat updates (none available, i have v 24.1) 6. i've run acrobat help > repair 7. i've uninstalled acrobat and reinstalled (no cleaner used). 8. i can view all 31 page of this document in acrobat, if i scroll quickly enough (crash occurs after about 5 seconds), and they all appear to be normal. 9. i have plenty of drive space (and i've tried opening from 2 different hard drives). 10. i can view all 31 pages in my acrobat preview panel   but i can't figure out what could be causing this and how to fix it.  

Created a PDF from a Word file that had HYPERLINKS in it.  Acrobat interpreted the links as OPEN A WEB (Execute a Menu Item) links.  I am EDITING those links to make them OPEN A FILE links, but when I ADD the file in the EDIT dialog box, the links become ABSOLUTE links with the drive letter included.  What do I need to do to create RELATIVE file path to the linked file?

 On 23.5. I received the mail confirming that the subscription (free one-week version) was cancelled on time, but on 24.5. I still got charged 24,39 euros.I can try to cancel now again as it still says that I have a monthly plan even though I got an email confirming I have cancel it on time. But I dont want to do it again as I want my moey back from the first time being charged.I need immediate action. I cannot find the way how to conntact anyone directly.

How do i change the language on error messages? The form is translated from an english version. I have tried changing the language field in the document properties to the preferred language yet the error messages still populate in english.

When trying to open a downloaded pdf file sent to me by email I am provided with a page/advert for me to trial acrobat pro. I do not want to this, but when I close the page I am sent back to the download page. Any advice on how to get round this. 

Have a new computer and have installed Acrobat Pro. I logged in but will not link to the cloud. Had a look under preferences and just came up with this message. I looked all over the cloud website and can't find it anywhere. Worked fine on the old computer and still have access on my iPad and phone.  

Hi. I just bought a new laptop and had everything transferred from my old laptop to my new one. And upgraded from Microsoft 11 to 365 Personal. I haven't worked on any PDFs till now but I notice they're all showing as Microsoft Edge instead of Adobe. Why would this be happening? 

I am trying to view watermark OCGs in the layers panel. I have added three text watermarks using the watermark tool. I can see the watermarks on the page. I then ran the following to scripts one after the other:this.getOCGs();doc.getOCGs()I got these scripts from a tutorial and after running them any watermark OCGs are to appear on the layer list in the layers panel as I understand it, but nothing appears.I tried this first on a page with a couple watermarks as files and it didn’t work either. I like working with publisher to create forms.  I used to be able to convert these to fillable PDF's, but it continues to give me an error message saying in cannot create a new PDF form.  Please advise.  Thank you

I am having issues with an Adobe Acrobat pdf. The JavaScript that I have is working correctly for what I am doing which is making a dynamic D&D 5e Character Sheet. I have checked the spelling and it's all correct. There's no issues with punctuation, or capitals either. Everything is as it should be.  The way this is supposed to work is when I select a Class from the Class1 drop-down, the appropriate checkboxes should be checked (marked true). When I enter the level of the class, the SubClass drop-down shows the available sub classes if the level is high enough. If the sub class chosen adds more proficiencies, those checkboxes and/or proficiency text field displays the correct items the character is proficient with. Hello, I'm curious as to if there is a JavaScript to just generate an additional text box or blank page with one text box and signature of writer to verify their writings. Would this be from a template that I would spawn? Also, what is a good JavaScript to use for this to have a button at the end of the page to add additional text for the page. I haven't been able to find any working JavaScript or help for this task.

Ich habe mehrseitige pdfs mit vielen links, diese sollen nicht anklickbar sein, da die Datei im Web veröffentlicht werden soll und keine exteren Webseiten öffnen darf.   Über Werkzeuge "PDF bearbeiten - Link - Web-Verknüpfungen entfernen" findet Acrobat leider keine Links. Die Option "Schwärzen - Links, Aktionen und Javascripts entfernen" bringt auch nicht das gewünschte Ergebnis.Die Möglichkeit "PDF/A konvertieren - Konvertiert alle Seiten zu Bildern" funktioniert zwar aber dadurch wird die Datei viel zu groß.  Gibt es noch weitere Möglichkeiten Webseiten-Links im Text zu deaktivieren? 

I'm a student and I previously used Adobe Creative Cloud through my university. They discontinued this service this year, so I decided to use Adobe's student discounts to maintain creative cloud because I really do love the tools it offers. However, upon installation of the updated Adobe Acrobat Pro, I can no longer view bookmarks and comments at the same time. I used to see Bookmarks on the left of the application, the document in the middle, and then comments on the right. This was particularly useful for me as I often read multi-chapter books that I used the bookmarks for and then annotate with the comments. Now, my new version only displays bookmarks and comments on the right of the screen. There's no option to see them both simultaneously, which makes navigating the document quite frustrating. Is there a way to change preferences to allow me to view these the way I want to?

I completed one PDF form with the help of a free trial and thought there would be no more, only to find I’ve cancelled my free trial too soon. I’ve been unexpectedly sent another PDF to complete. The free trial would be still valid if I could reactivate it, but instead I've had to pay for a month, yet I still can’t fill in boxes in the PDF I’ve been sent! I thought my problem was something to do with downloading and re-installing the software, but I can’t do any more to this wretched PDF form I’ve been sent that I could when I first saw it! The menu items are all greyed out as unobtainable. I’ve used the Modify, Repair, Remove option, selecting Repair, to no avail! Please can someone help?
