I have a large file - over 20K - pages and need to extract pages which contain specific text.  It's OCR'd but is there a quicker and more efficient way of extracting documents vs. doing a search for that text and extracting one page at a time?

How do i redirect customers to our website after they sign a document? 

Hello! On my document I have sections. Each section has a text header followed by interactive text boxes.  When all text boxes are not used in the largest section (there are 8 interactive text boxes in the section) I want the sections that follow to move up to minimize gaping white space between the sections on that page. In the larger section, I have checkboxes that when selected auto populate into the interactive text fields within the largest section. If only 4 checkboxes are selected, only 4 of the 8 interactive text fields will populate. When less than 8 selections are used, I want to minimize the space between the larger section and the ones that follow.  Is it possible to "scoot up" the sections that follow automatically to minimize the white space? Thank you so much for your help!

Hi I am looking for some help with Javascript in relation to validation around birth dates.I have a form and want to ensure that a user does not select the current years calendar from the Date Field when they select their birth date, the user will be older than 18 years preferably and I tried to use the following which I found on a website, but it comes up with an error. var today = new Date(); var selectedDate = new Date(this.value); if (selectedDate > today) { app.alert("Please select a past date."); return false; }Is someone able to assist?Thanks Nicole 

We are an SBA Lender about to implement Adobe Acrobat E-Sign for all our Loan Documents, including Promissory Notes.  Have any Lenders been challenged in a court of law on the validity of E-signed loan documents and promissory notes?

I am an Adobe Newbie, and and oldie.  Please help! I want to use an electronic signature to fill in a form, rather than print it, sign it, scan it, send it.  I have the full creative cloud all apps package, but when I try to use a signature it directs me to the free trial.  How do I put in a digital / electronic signature when filling a form in Acrobat? Help much appreciated!

After an employee did a windows reset we needed to reinstall and reactivate Acrobat XI We have the serial number, but not the adobe account that was used the first time around. This could have been registered to an account for one or more employees that no longer work for the company. Is there a way to detemine the Adobe Account email that is associated with this serial number?

I use acrobat for my job and I have to send agreements to sign, I was having issues with notifications for signed agreements and I had to shange my email. Now I cant log in and cant receive any email at all 

I am a user that needs to constantly flip to specific pages in PDFs. In older versions of Acrobat when the page number appeared at the top menu bar, you used to be able to just double-click on the page number and just change it. Easy. Intuitive. In newer versions, the page number has been nested into the narrow side column and it feels like the UI team went through gynmastics to re-implement the feature. To change a page number, you now have to click on the FAKE INPUT BOX, which then pops open a REAL input box off to the side, and then you have to move your mouse over to it, double-click/cmd+A the existing page number, and then key in the new number.  I don't understand how this update got approved for implementation. It's a core function of a PDF reader that previously took half a second to use, and now it's a 5-step Rube Goldberg of a process. It would be funny if it weren't such an annoying waste of time. Please, please revert this. Or at least make it so that wh

i have an issue where i set the scale and ratio setting when i right click. once i got snap a measurement it resets and no longer able to get the correct measurement.

I have long used Adobe Acrobat Pro to convert pdfs into Word documents for my employer, because he likes to then edit them. As recently as 6 months ago, the reults were mediocre at best. I woud need to do much editing before sending them to my boss. HOWEVER, in the past month, the conversion to Word documents has blown me away. The new converter not just gets formatting much better, but it faithfully adds images and letterhead styles. Whatever you did to acomplish this, congratuations! You made my life so much easier.

We password secure our pdfs before loading them into Sitecore. In Sitecore the docs get parsed so that text in the pdf can be found when searching our website. When the pdf is secured with Compatibility of "Acrobat X and later" the pdf is not parsable. When secured with setting of Acrobat 7.0 and later, it can be parsed. Can I set the default compatibility to by Acrobat 7.0 and later?

Hello, I'm a graphic designer working in medical communications/science publishing. Clients often send us figures output directly from their graphing software as PDFs where datapoints are formatted as text bullets instead of outlined shapes.When I open the PDFs in Illustrator, these datapoints are usually in Myriad Pro and, even though I have Myriad Pro activated, the bullets don't display and I have to switch to Arial or similar. This changes the actual size of the bullets, which changes the numerical positioning of the point on the x/y axes of the figure.  While it isn't a huge problem if all the datapoints use the same font size--I can eyeball it and resize/nudge them all uniformly to match the PDF--it is a problem when each circle bullet is sized proportionately with the data. While I can switch to Arial, convert type to outlines, and transform each, I'm not confident that this preserves the proportionate areas of each circle while also preserving their x/y position.&nbsp

Hello, I have been using a form for business orders for years and I open it and edit it and use saveas to create a copy of it. Since I have been using the latest version on a new computer I am seeing a name I choose in the saveas form get changed from "Text" to "Textpdf.pdf". I have been unable to understand where the options are to effect this and don't know why it is happening now after never really altering the source document. Anyone know how to fix? Hi community, I can looking for two features that have been discussed a lot for many years. My system is Windows 11 with Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2024. I have found some posts about these two features, but I want the most recent updates of them. And my questions are: (1) Is it possible for users to increase the mouse scrolling speed when I have enabled scrolling and using continuous single page view mode. It seems that there are many posts in this community, but I still cannot find a solution. (2) Is it possible for users to customize the keyboard shortcut key? I found the document about how to customize the shortcut key for other Adobe applications, but I cannot find the one for Adobe Acrobat. And I saw an old post mentioning that it is not possible in Adobe Acrobat.  I wonder if these two problems have been solved in version 2024?  

I'm doing a bunch of screenshots using the windows 11 screenshot tool.I'm then taking those screenshots, saving them as png files, and then inserting them into adobe acrobat pdf files (I have acrobat pro). Is there a way to insert the images directly from the screenshot tool into acrobat without first saving the images as files?

Hi I am look for some help with digital signatures, there seems to be a program error when I go to the next step of selecting where the signature goes the screen stays loading at 72% (see pic below)Would really appreciate some support to rectify this problem, have tried calling adobe for support and continually get cut off. Many thanks  

I work with a team of curriculum developers who edit existing PDFs in Acrobat. Most of us are on Macs. When we have to edit a lot of content on one page, we attach a Word doc to the PDF by clicking on the paperclip with the plus sign. We save the file, then upload it to SharePoint for a team member to review. I would say about 10% of the time, when the reviewer tries to view the attachment, we get the error messages listed. Choosing "No" closes the error message and nothing happens. Choosing "Yes" pops open the 2nd error message, the clicking "OK" closes it and again, nothing happens. The weird part is once this happens, nobody can open the attached document, including the person who originally authored it. Does anybody have any ideas? TIA
