Hi. I have a problem with the Adobe Acrobat Edge extension. it downloads a file named demo_en-US.pdf at the start of opening every PDF. What do I have to stop it?

I have recently noticed a problem when printing a PDF document from Word.  The line spacing of the document is changed. The Microsoft Word document is set for single space, 1.15”.  with “Tight” paragraph layout selected on paragraph spacing on the design tab. The document appears correct in print preview.  However, after the PDF document is created .41 line space is added during the conversion.  So the 1.15 line space in the Word document is a 1.56 line space in the PDF document.  Consequently, lines of text are moved to another page, and the PDF no longer reflects the intended design.  Additionally, should any images or tables be inserted they appear in different locations, and potentially across a page break.  I do not see any settings in Microsoft Word, or Adobe Acrobat that preserve or adjust to a default line spacing to correct or prevent this problem.  This is a new problem, I have been using the same programs successfully for over a year

Hello, I bought and downloaded AI picture generator, and it seems that since I did this my AI assistant is not working. It just sits in processing document.  I have gone in and cancelled my subscription with the AI picture generator, but it doesn't seem to have helped.  I've tried multiple pdf's and it's just sitting on processing document.  Any advise on how to fix this

When trying to open a signature requested (e-signature) from a client I recieve the following error when click on link in the email 403 ForbiddenRequest forbidden by administrative rules. Any idea what I need to do to be able to open and sign the document, my whole office is expericing the issue. 

I am having difficulity opening PDF files. This was working before. I have new HP desktop and laptop computers. I cannot open these files when I click on the attached PDF file I get this error message:This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. I need a submit (to email) button to work in chrome as it is for co-workers who do not have acrobat installed or acess to acrobat. The submit button works perfect in both acrobat and internet explorer but not everyone has acrobat (company claims cost is the issue) and not everyone has IE as it is being phased out obviously. I know people say its a plug in issue but is there ANY known work around im desperate.  Thanks in advance

I have 2 radio buttons that are grouped and depending on your selection a data field is auto populated from the data in another field. The field that is auto populated is part of a simple yet complex formula to solve an equation, where some of the data is recycled. I had it working for the most part at some point today, just the last equation was kicking out the wrong answer. For example; the last equation would be something like .035x100=3.5%; but was giving the answer of 350%. I saved my progress even though the equation wasn't correct and when I opened it again to work out the issues, nothing worked anymore. I can get the radio buttons to autofill correctly but, that's it. Please help!?!?! I attached the form and a couple of screen shots. Right under "Remarks" on Page 2 is the formula. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong??

Hi there, I can open the Adobe Acrobat application just fine, but when I open a PDF it crashes. This has been happening repeatedly for over a month. I've tried other fixes and it will work again temporarily, but then the same issue will happen and it will stop working. What do I do?

How can I darken a light scan of book text or at least darken the print? All black and white.Thanks!

All of of a sudden on 1/9 the form fields on my esignature documents were completely blacked out. I hadn't made any changes to the templates I had been using for months. I am using the web version to send esignature requests becuase it's the most up to date and least amount of steps involved. I chatted with Adobe help, but to no avail. When I went back to the old version, the form fields are just fine.  Also, the form fields are blacked out when I view the completed document in Adobe as well, it's not just a printing error.  Any tips on how I can fix this, other than just using the old version?

So I am a print broker and every now and then I need to do some additional prep for print projects my clients send me. In this case I was printing a 64pp magazine. The client sent me a complete file of all 64 pages as well as a single page file for the outer cover to include the spine width. I set up a cover file with their spread on one page and the interior front and back cover pages on the other.... that was my cover file. No issues there. The text pages file simply needed pages 1, 2, 63 & 64 removed - so I opened it up in Acrobat and using the edit pages tool did just that. Then I used Save As to save the file as "text pages" or something simliar. The print, when it arrived as pixelated in the interior. Not the text - just the images. And checking the "text pages" file I see that this has dropped from the original 64pp verion at 158MB to 17.5MB I ran the process again and the reduced file is now 141MB - which is about right and there is no pixelati

I have version 2022.003.20314 on Windows 10.

I use the hand, (pan), tool constantly and now it is gone. I read in this forum you can disable new acrobat and have the old commands available. Why would we need to do that?? The hand tool is one of my most used tools. Am I missing something?

I am using Acrobat Pro version 2024.  I am new to Acrobat, so my question is probably very elementary.Ultimately I want to crop off the white margins from a large PDF document. I found a nice video on the subject by Erin Wright Writing   at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mINPTO3EhbYHowever I am not able to crop off as much as I want, because there are some text boxes at the top of the page about 1/2 inch above the first line of body text.Note:This PDF was generated from a DOC file, which contained a Header. The Header contained the following.(1) Title of book(2) Title of section(3) Page#These three elements became text boxes in the PDF file, and these are the things which I would like to move (on all pages).Anyways, I went into the Editor and moved the text boxes on the first page to get them closer to the first line. However I don't know how to get the change to apply to all pages.Question: Is there a way to apply the changes to all pages?Any suggestions would be

All of my pdfs were copied from old Win 10 laptop to new Win 11 HP laptop. It appears they were copied and not moved so date created is not original date. Any way to fix? I understand files should have been moved instead of copied. 

My daughter works for a large multinational corporation and says they have issues every day because of Adobe Acrobat not working. It's gotten so bad she says that a friend of hers inside the company said regarding the California fires, "I hope Addobe HQ is burning," and her 2 year old son goes around saying, "ADOBE BAD."  I have the full DC version and often resort to free programs like PDF24 to do things I can't get to work on Adobe. Even Microsoft Edge, which I hate and wish I could remove from Windows, works better at opening PDF files than Acrobat.  No doubt, nobody at Adobe is listening or cares. I mainly wanted to pass on what the 2-year olds are saying, "ADOBE BAD." LOL! Out of the mouth of babes.... 

Hi, my two issues center around AI search feature.  1- there is a search bar dedicated for AI assistant, used to appear at the bottom of pages in the center. There is an option to click it away, but since then I could not make it viewable anymore, and I can only use this bar to ask AI, and the reason is mentioned in the next question. 2-   the AI search box in the toolbar can not be typed in, it's as if my keyboard is locked somehow. Moving the cursor to the search box and clicking over it, shows the caret/text cursor but upon typing, some keys activate Acrobat tools.  I can only type numbers and some characters, for example "G" and ";". It appears to me that the shortcuts are activated and cause this issue. As per my research, disabling Acrobat shortcuts is not feasible. I tried to lock my keyboard using "Fn" and the lock key but to no avail. 

My Highlighter Tool is now turning off after the first time use.  After I updated yesterday, the issue started happening.  I highlight numbers sporadically in columns alot and to keep hitting the highlight tool each time is annoying.  How the hell do I keep it on, until I'm ready to turn it off?  Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Release (Classic) Version 2015.006.30413

Hoping someone can help - I have a user that is assigned an Adobe Pro license but does not have the "Upload Files" option on the https://acrobat.adobe.com/ site.  Myself as the admin of our Adobe licnesing does NOT have Pro assigned to me but I have the option on the webpage.  Can anyone tel me how I can activate this on his account/webpage?   

Hello, I signed the 7 days trial that Acrobat Reader offer me, then I realised the very same day, that after all I didn't need it. They charged me £8.99 for the monthly plan and so far they have not reimbursed my money. Any help as why please. Thank you. Nuccio

There is a dotted line that divides pages in double page view mode, however I don't always need it, can I disable it somehow? I only found the option to put a gap between pages 

Hallo Community,ich besitze eine  Acrobat Standard Lizenz und habe seit ein paar Monaten das Problem, dass Acrobat beim schließen von pdf´s anscheinend nicht ordnungsgemäß schließt. Es bleibt hierbei immer wieder (mehrmals am Tag) 3-4 Tasks im Taskmanager geöffnet, sodass ich keine neuen pdfs öffnen kann.  Erst wenn ich im Taskmanager den Task beende (meist mit 30% CPU Auslastung) kann ich neue pdfs öffnen. Ich habe auch bereits deinstalliert und mit dem cleanertool alles restlos entfernt und neu installiert. Kennt jemand dieses Phänomen? Kann jemand Abhilfe schaffen? Besten Dank im Voraus! 

When working on my PC, not using Acrobat or any Adobe popup, I regularly get a small popup from Acrobat with a dropdown option with the message: "English with Arabic support". No Adobe products are even running when this happens. It is extremely annoying, how can I disable it?
