Hello.I am using Acrobat to create a form fillable PDF, where the fillable fields use certain fonts. However, when I send the PDF to a friend, they cannot see the intended fonts unless they have installed them themselves. How can I solve this so they doesn’t need to install the fonts? I know this is possible, since I have downloaded PDFs where the fillable fields use fonts I don’t have, and I can see them fine.Help, please?

I have a user fillable form that is saved as a file when Submit button is clicked. I have set the General property of the Submit button as “Visible but does not print”.  The trouble is that Submit button image is also saved in there which I don’t want to. Any suggestion how I can avoid the SUBMIT button image being saved? Thanks.

I have a fill in form that has all the areas that have a text box highlighted in blue.  How do I get rid of that?

We have a re-occuring issue with a number of users.  When attempting to digitally sign a PDF, the file will save but the signature is not there.  After several attempts the file will save with  the signature in place.   We have exhausted our internal knowledge on this and seeing if anyone has seen this and have managed to resolve this. 

Sorry to repost here, I can't delete the other post in the general discussion forum. I am using Adobe PDF Extractor API.  The <require('@adobe/pdfservices-node-sdk')> thing. It converts PDF to a readable JSON file. I have a simple PDF file that has basic words on the corners, 4 per corner, 2 pages. Total results should be 8, but I am getting only 5 elements when examining the output JSON file. How is this API missing such a simple test case?If it can't extract information accurately from a basic example, how much confidence can I have for much larger more complex PDF's? Should have: top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right, top left 2, top right 2, bottom left 2, bottom right 2.  

Hello everyone! I am using Adobe Acrobat Standard (Version 2024.003.20180 64-Bit). I just went through the whole guideline on "How to make a PDF Black and White". https://www.adobe.com/uk/acrobat/resources/pdf-to-greyscale.html Unfortunately, it always fails, the document in colour could NOT become B&W in any way. Has anyone encountered this issue/problem lately?  

Noto Sans is apparently not a OTF font that is supported by Adobe. It's an Apple system font The illustration shows how Noto Sans appears in Acrobat 2023.003.20269. It clogs up the text selection window. For fun, I tried to use it and every version reproduces just like any other non-OTF fonts...as black dots. It's the same in every other app that uses fonts—InDesign, Photoshop, but is worst in Acrobat. The illustration shows how Noto Sans appears in Acrobat, but side by side. Imagine having to scroll through all of this to get to Times New Roman. Apple doesn't have a workaround. Is there a way to deselect Noto Sans and other useless Apple fonts so they don't appear in, and slow down, the character windows, especially in Adobe Acrobat?  This is Acrobat 2023.003.20269 on OS Ventura 13.5.1. 

I've just started using Acrobat DC but I keep getting this message when I try to create a PDF from the scanner: 'The Selected Color Format is not supported'. How do I correct this? Thanks. iMac running Sierra 10.12.6Canon TS8150 printer/scannerAcrobat DC v.2020.006.20042 

I can't share a link to any files from both my accounts because an error keeps popping up "We weren't able to share your files. Please try again later". I have updated the app and repaired the installation, changed some security and general things in settings, tried sharing different files fromn different accounts and nothing seems to work. What do I do? I use Windows 10.

I have uninstalled Adobe Acrobat, but some files/programs remain.  In particular, Adobe Genuine Software Integrity Service continues to run despite having no Adobe software installed.How do I uninstall this service?  There does not appear to be an uninstaller available.

whenever I add a text comment into a pdf I get this popup that cannot be turned off or moved out of the way, unless I end and restart the adobe acrobat. It's there even if I don't have the "Add Text as Comment" tool is active - as you can see, I have the select tool selected but that popup is still there for no reason. Is there a way to get rid of this thing?    

When converting to PDF a Word document some weird characters (0F, 1F, 2F, etc.) are inserted in footnotes:

Attempt to update Acrobat gave this error message-Multiple attempts still resulted in failure.  Tried to first re-install Acrobat, but failure.  Used AdobeAcroCleaner_DC2021, which finished but did not fix problem.  Tried Win 11 Uninstall Troubleshooter Tool, which finished but did not fix problem.  Multiple reboots.  Tried to re-install via Cloud for Desktop, but failed to complete.  Now I'm out of ideas, and would value any this community might have.  tyia UPDATE:  I tried repairing the Cloud for Desktop application, which completed.  Then tried to install Acrobat from that app.  Failed, but led me to a different potential solution as per these screenshots... which also failed, same error message as I started with (Screenshots 37-40).  As it's now Monday I'm reaching out to Adobe for technical support. UPDATE 2:  Before contacting Support I had another option to fix, which failed but did yield another set of screen

I'm trying to switch from PDF Expert to Adobe Acrobat on my iPad but having issues with Google Drive integration. Here's my situation:Currently, I use:iPad with PDF Expert for PDF annotations (highlights, comments)Google Drive for file storageGoogle Drive desktop app on MacBook Air for local syncThis setup works perfectly - I can access and edit PDFs on any device, with changes syncing automatically. Files are also available offline on my MacBook.The problem: When trying to replicate this workflow with Adobe Acrobat on iPad, I can't access the Google Drive folders that are synced with my desktop. The folders simply don't appear in Acrobat's interface.Questions:Is there a way to make Acrobat on iPad see my desktop-synced Google Drive folders?If not, is there an alternative workflow to achieve the same functionality using Acrobat?

I have a multi page document (1,000's of pages) and need to delete every other page.  I can't figure out how to do this & I know it's doable.  I just don't have the time to delete this one page at a time.  Please help.

I'm using Adobe acrobat Pro DC and when I try to make png file in to pdf, the problem occurs.Here's what I do1) I have a png file of 1920x1080 resolution (it's a screenshot)2) I open Adobe acrobat and use the "Organize Pages" function, select a file(png) and open it up3) Save the PDF file created.Now, the overall image quality, especially the text seem very unclear and dirty although the resolution remains the same.Below is a comparison(upper one is the original) Does anyone have similar issues? I didn't change anything in the settings, they're pretty much default. Thanks

Everytime i try to merge to word documents it keeps saying error, i have reinstalled the app a couple of times, currently using adone standard , dont know what to do,.... honestly quite frustrating that what is says all the time and then adobe isn't responding

I'm not the greatest at writing scripts. I've inherited a form that I'm trying to update and I could use some help.  1. In one of the fields, they will be scanning a barcode and the scan will have an equal sign at the beginning of the scan and two zeros at the end of the scan (e.g. =W28132020546700) that I need a script that will automatically delete those in the field. Final result would look like this W2813 20 2054672.  In another field I have the age. I need a script that will use the DOB field to calculate the age in the AGE field.3. in another field, they will be scanning an expiration date. The scan will display something like this "&>0253652359" but I need a script that will convert that to 12/31/2025 23:59.4. Then lastly, I need a script that will take another scanned value (e.g. =<E0713V00) and remove the leading =< and the trailing 00 and just display E0731. I know it's a lot to ask but I could really use some help. 🙂 Thanks!&nbsp

Hi, I have a very odd situation. I generated a form where on page 1 signatures are required to apprve expenses. On page two I havethe option that people can add their scanned receipts.However, when I have then this form with the embedded image (doesn't matter if it is an embedded JPEG or PDF) available and use the send for e-signature option after uploading the document page 2 is blank! You cannot see the receipt. When I add the PDF as attachment and send it out the image is there.Something happens during the uploading process. How can I avoid this? Thanks in advance!

Generated files (Indesign/XMPie) must be split into 1000 or 5000 record segments. Acrobat generates and saves first split and then crashes (both MAC and PC platforms) during save of the second file. I am having to organize pages and then manually delete. Open to any thoughts or suggestions...

Hello,When I receive a marked up pdf from a client, I check off the comments as I finish them. Then after I export the pdf, I import any comments that are not addressed. I delete the ones I aleady checked off. When my client receives the pdf, all of the comments I checked off and deleted come back as "Marked Set by [my name]" which is very annoying because those were deleted by me and make it confusing to the client as to what comments are remaining. How can I disable this "marked set by" from happening? Thank you.Version 2024.003.20180

In the past, Adobe has always auto-rotated pages to the correct portrait or landscape orientation after running OCR text recognition on a file, but (after updating yesterday) now it's just leaving them as they are. Is there a way to get this back? I tried the "enhance" option with deskew, but that didn't work. Missing this very helpful feature and hoping there's a way to reinstate it. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I've recently started using Adobe Pro and when I use the text comment feature, the text becomes so transparent that it is barely legible.  I found a way to change the opacity to 100% by clicking Ctrl J, then inserting "this.nselectedAnnots[0].opacity = 1;" in JavaScript debugger, Ctrl + enter to execute the command.  Doing this gives me 100% opacity.  I then go back to my text comment, right click and select Properties, then select "make properties default", but it still only works for that document.  It does not change the default like it leads you to believe.  I have to do this to every document and it is maddening.  This issue is a deal breaker for me, but I'd like to inquire about a permanent fix for this issue before I make the decision to switch to another brand of software.  Does anyone have a permanent fix?
