Hello, recently adobe acrobat crushes when I try to print a pdf file. I have the latest update, I tried the repair installation and i tried to sign out and sign in, nothing works.

I made a text document in Word and saved it as a PDF-file. In this documents are links to attachements, mainly .jpg documents. When I click such a link, I get security warnings (see attachments). When I click Allow and OK, the attachment opens, but it's annoying. How do I disable / prevent these warnings? I suppose that I can do this in the settings of Acrobat Reader. Hi, When I have multiple PDFs open in one window, I want to separate the tabs into multiple windows so I can have two PDFs on two different monitors. But Acrobat crashes whenever I try this without giving me an error. I'm using the "new" user interface (ver. 24.5.20320.0) and running Windows 10. I have several customers lately having problems with Adobe opening documents very slow or not opening them at all.  This started happening in December 2024 all of a sudden.  I have done all the troubleshooting; clean installs, updates, computer updates, OS updates, clearing cache, clearing temp files, turned off Security stuff in Preferences.  Using latest versions.  Please advise.

Hi,Often although not always when I try to save PDFS which I have added highlighting, comments, or drawings to I will receive a variety of errors, often including "bad parameter" -- although that's not the only one. This often results in me losing work. Sometimes this happens when I have moved or renamed the file before saving--but again, not always. Please advise!

I was hoping Acrobat's new interface would make it easier to embed videos into PDFs, but so far it seems it does not. In my particular case I must attach hundreds of tiny videos to PDFs,  and as far as I can see, the latest interface requires a number of separate choices for each and every one just as the old version did. In my case these include Open in separate window, Specify the width and height of that window, and Specify the locatation of the poster file (each of which requires separate sub-steps). This gets tedious and very time-consuming when there are a great many to do. Despite my pleadings in this forum (all of which were 'upvoted'), it seems that all of these must still be specified separately for each video again and again with no way to establish them once and for all as defaults. Does anyone know a way around this problem? Hello all,Can somebody help me out.. this is in Excel and I have it all working correcty in excel.. but now I am trying tomake it work the same way using Adobe Acrobat,.. here is the details. Calculated Worked Hours: Total Hours Worked the that DayRegular Hours: Worked hours for that same day but it will stop at 8 hours then carry over to “OVERTIME”So for example, Ion Monday, I worked for 10 hours..Calculated Worked Hours = 10Regular Time: 8.00Overtime: 2.00 But I want to auto populate the Name Field by entering the “IN” & “OUT” and will also deduct the lunch ”OUT” & “IN”.. Here is the example of both files. Hope someone can halp me or share a file that I may use that works the same way.   

I am putting audio comments on a scanned pdf. When I play back the comment there is significant background hiss. I have changed the microphone volume, that does not remove the hiss. I have tried different input microphones (internal computer, and external Jabra), that does not remove the hiss. I have recorded the audio comment on two different laptops, and they have the same problem with background hiss.I checked and recorded a note on a ppt file, and there was no background hiss. So it is something inherent to Acrobat Pro DC. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks,Bob

 After updating acrobat reader I receive the same message: "I constantly get asked for the password to my 'keychain account" I do not know what this even means, still less what a password might be. I have been trying to send a pdf by email. None of the options are working (send via Adobe Reader or by an Adobe  link, or as an attachment via attachment icon or by grabbing and dropping in body of email). In all cases, I get a Please Wait and the only troubleshooting option is download update, which is not relevant as I am working with the up-to-date version (and did restart computer after downloading that). Please advise. How to upload a link from Google Drive to Adobe Acrobat for page numbers?

I just find it annoying how Adobe has essentially cornered the digital document space, and despite this, provides a completely mediocre product (Acrobat) to paying consumers. I reiterate, PAYING CONSUMERS... Not only has Adobe put up a paywall to edit PDFs, but for those who pay monthly (for f sakes let us buy perpetual software, we do NOT want the updates, you would make MORE money), we have to navigate an asinine, computer-crashing product. I just wanted to black out some text - impossible. I wanted to add some text to the document for note-taking, well I had better save it as an image and re-save it again to edit it... Acrobat... I am using the 7-day trial of Acrobat DC and tryiing to convert a PDF to Word or Excel.  When I try to convert to word, it seems to work until I try to open the Word file in Word. Then Word chokes on the file and says it can't open it. "Word experienced an error trying to open the file. Try these suggestions. Check the file permissions for the document or drive.Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disk space.Open the file with the Text Recovery converter. When I try ti convert it into Excel it works for a while then chokes, saying something like "Save As cannot create the file."  Is anyone able to get these conversion features to work?

Hi All.We've had a long standing issue in our multi tenanted RDS environment with Adobe where some users have pro licences and others do not. When users sign in with their pro licence it upgrades acrobat reader to pro, meaning the non licenced users cannot use the product. I recently found that using Acropro.msi allows us to select "Suppress sign-in in Acrobat" which allows the non pro users to use pro to view their pdfs, and let's pro users sign in and get all the benefits. Welcome to the Wizard — Acrobat Customization Wizard for Windows (adobe.com I was going to implement this across our environment to save huge headaches but i wanted to check the legality of it first? Okay, long story short: I had an older Adobe account that was linked to some devices that do not exist anymore (broken and scrapped) and I have a new computer now. Today I bought a book with DRM protection, installed ADE on my comp and tried to authorize it with the old account. But could not be done with it because "it was already used elsewhere". Okay np, so I went to the Adobe portal to deactivate the devices from the account. Surprise - in the list there is nothing. I had this account linked to my ebook reader and old scrapped computer, yet nothing here. So obviously I cannot deactivate anything. To make it shorter, because I was already a bit annoyed and I wanted solution NOW, I closed the account, opened new one and linked it to both my new computer and my ebook reader, where I deactivated the old one before. My goal is to create a foolproof form for my staff to use, primarily on iPads, that eliminates transitory documents when submitting to payroll. The form was originally an Excel worksheet, but I converted it to a PDF to streamline the process and ensure consistency.Most of the form is complete, but I've hit a roadblock with scripting. Specifically, I need to make three fields in each row interact with each other so that selecting an option in one dropdown limits the choices in the others.The fields are labeled as follows for each row:Timecodes.0JobNumber.0ActivityCode.0There are 18 rows in total (labeled .0 to .17).For example, if a specific Timecode is selected in a row, I want only the relevant JobNumbers to be available for selection, and then only the appropriate ActivityCodes after that.Any guidance, examples, or resources to achieve this would be greatly appreciated! I bought Acrobat Pro years ago and used it often until I tried to open it and got an Adobe message stating something along the lines of my Acrobat Pro was old and therefore Adobe would not let it be used. Then I discovered that all my Acrobat Pro program files had been deleted from my computer. I'm assuming Adobe did this because I certainly did not.I am unable to find any information about this hacking my computer because an application was old. Anyone here have any information they can share?Thank you.

I closley looked for the "optional" install of this bloatware to keep it from getting past.. but it did. It's NOT optional. anyone who says it is.. that's wrong.
