I closley looked for the "optional" install of this bloatware to keep it from getting past.. but it did. It's NOT optional. anyone who says it is.. that's wrong.

Hi, all.I've a question for you as per subject.We have a customer which uses 2 balanced shared VDI in Azure, for 15 of its users (2 of them, except the above, have a dedicated VDI, with no problem).Among these 15 users, 4 of them need to use Acrobat Pro (the rest of them need to use Reader). Another user with this need is one of the ones with dedicated VDIWe bought 5 license of Acrobat Pro and, for the one with dedicated VDI, we had no problems: he accessed, system downloaded setup file that installed Creative Cloud and then it opened Acrobat (previously Readr) as Pro.So we tried the same with the first of the users with shared VDI: access, download of setup.exe and installation: in this case, since user isn't admin (differently from the 2 with dedicated VM), it asked for credentials we correctl y gave. Then it installed CC but, when it came to open Acrobat, it still was Reader, even with the user logged. We almost tired eveything (disconnect the user, reconnect, close completely the s

We are seeing random PDF's that intermittently have a delay upon opening. This sees to occur no matter where the PDF is saved, their size and is not specific to particular files, one can have a delay when opening one time, then be completely fine the next, there is also no pattern to the order in which the delay occurs.We have already disabled Protected View, App Containers and Enhanced Security with no success. 

Using the Save As PDF menu item, only half the page gets converted. Distiller does an even worse job, using Courier as the font. Microsoft Word's Save as PDF renders the page correctly but botches up some images on later pages. Has anyone seen this before? Original word doc attached with embedded fonts. 

Sometimes I'm offline and need Acrobat Pro to read and create PDF files. That seems no longer be possible. Is that true?

I am able to add and combine PDFs and Word files but when I add an Excel file and then try to combine it with other files, Acrobat simply closes.  No error message. Same thing happens when I try to convert only an Excel file alone.I have tried this with multiple Excel files, including ones that I was able to add/combine before.I have installed all updates.Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 Version 20.005.30748.10748My operating system is Windows 11 Version 10.0.26100Excel 2013This problem only started happening in the last couple of months.What to do?

I have a fillable PDF with multiple pages, and I duplicated some of the pages to expand the document. However, the duplicated form fields are linked, so when I fill in one field, the same answer appears across all duplicated pages. Is there a way to duplicate pages but make the form fields independent without manually renaming each one? I’m working with a PDF that spans hundreds of pages, so I’m looking for the fastest and most efficient solution. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! 

This is so unbelievably frustrating, and it seems to be an issue that has gone on for years and Adobe isn't doing anything about it. I'm trying to redact police reports and for example, if I redact one area on page 5, it will apply the redaction in the same spot on each following page. So now, I just have random redactions all over every page of my PDF. In looking at suggestions in this community and in other places, I've tried to remove the background (although, I always get an error that there is no background), I've converted the PDF to a word document, and then back to a PDF, i've flattened, sanitized, everything. The only thing that works is printing off the PDF and then scanning it back it. This is such a waste of time and resources. There has to be a solution, or surely, Adobe could fix this issue??  

Hello I have converted a document to a pdf using Micorsoft word 365. As is our common process my team takes the .PDF and opens it in Adobe Pro.  Here we tag the document. Recently,  we started to be unable to tag the bulk of the images and other items on the page as decorative/artifact.  They continue to show in the reading order and under tags.  Any idea on what might be causing this?  

i did not aware i have been enrolled in an annual plan and paying fee every month without any receipt being received. I tried to cancel and so surprised that i hv to pay the remaining annual plan fee. This practice i hv never seen in other big company as big as Adobe. I tried to talk to service centre but not success. I am so frustrated and disappointed. I hope there is better arrangement not to scare potential custome or existing customer away.

Why are pdfs getting stuck in the Outlook outbox for so long? We have 12 users on Adobe. For some reason pdfs are getting stuck in the Outbox for a long time. One user has to go back and check several times before it will finally go out.

Hi @S. S , we suffer from the same problem on two different machines and none of the above mentioned steps work for us.  Tried to open your mentioned Links for procmon logs and Fiddler logs but see HTTP 400 error.  Do you see Acrobat 2020 successful activations from other users these days?  Please provide guidance and new Links as to continue with my enquiry here or create a different thread?

honestly adobe acrobat is sooooooooo slow it literally takes two minutes to add text to a drawing, I hate it so much. Apple Preview app does commenting so much faster but it lacks other features. I've got an M1 Pro Macbook so it's no slow horse. I'm being forced to upgrade to M4 now because of Adobe. ADOBE YOU ARE ABSOLUTE GARBAGE I"M SO FRUSTRATED YOU"VE WASTED HOURS OF MY LIFE, I HATE YOU. 

Hello all. Quite often I need to save PDF files opened from e-mail attachments in Outlook. Acrobat for some strange reason always shows me some default system folder (which is of course nonsense in this context). In other windows programs this dialog shows the last used save-as folder, which seems very logical to me and saves a lot of repeated work. Why is Acrobat not doing the same? Saving several files from Acrobat in this situation is a nightmare...I have seen several older questions on a similar topic - I think there must have been some solution found in the last years...?

- when I click the Sign button it shows the 2 signatures that are already there but no options to add or edit those and I don't know where else to look to either fix one of the current signatures or add additional ones

Has anyone had this experience: Acrobat DC Pro beachballing and crashing? It began a week ago. Using the latest release and latest MacOS. It is very unstable, for the first time in my experience; it hangs, and either quits (force quits) or I have to force quit it, losing document changes in the process. I am not using the new ("modern"?) layout, and perhaps that is the problem. I don't like the new layout; it has sacrificed too much functionality to be useful (and was rolled out as an imperfect beta, from what engineers said).  

Hi,I got about 5,000 pdf files to sign digitally for each employee (a new change requires). ,The files are similar and have two signature files. Field1 is where the employee signed and signature two for me, the approver. My organization uses smart cards, so a PIN has to be entered when signing. Instead of signing 5,000 files and saving each, is there a way to automate this?Maybe a script that takes the pass of all files, I enter the PIN once and automatically save all files to a directory. Any assistance is much appreciated. I can share the file template if you would assist me.Paul

Is there any way to adjust the brightness and contrast of a multi-page scanned notebook? The scanner scanned the pages too dark, and I would like to make an adjustment for all pages at once.

I work at the IT help desk and I am now getting calls from users where a QR code is shoved in their faces in Acrobat Pro DC telling them to scan it to sign in instead of going to a screen where they can put in their email address and do not know how to get around it.  They do not have a QR reader nor are up to speed on using QR codes.  Oh you may say copy the link into the browser, that's not good enough.  They need the screen to put in their email address straight up.  This change had to have been rolled out yesterday, this wasn't a change we needed or wanted and causing confusion.  I had to sign the users in through the Creative Cloud app as a workaround.  Users here have to sign into Adobe then sign in through Okta to get their license info from a state gov server.

Our case is pre-press. From time to time as a late stage edit prior to printing we use the functionality to open an image contained within a pdf page in photoshop in order to retouch, alter colours etc. Whilst the new feature of using Adobe express maybe helpful to some - we'd like to just use the old fashioned photshop tool since it's what we know and has proved useful overtime. The preference to use photoshop remains in settings however it's not clear to us how we overide the "new" feature of using adobe express which isn't set in our preferences. Can anyone shed any light on this?     

I've JUST downloaded a free trial version of Acrobat with a view to editimg some PDF's of Bank Statements for annotation for my tax return - and I am blocked from editing because - it says- the documents nare password protected - ID or licence number required. hitting "lean more" asks me to validate further access i have no recollection of setting up the password. the files were downloaded from my bank and i as far as i can tell *I* "created" the files?

I came across a bizarre and frustrating problem when trying to edit text in Adobe DC but could not find any other posts on this issue in the community. The problem happens when using the Edit PDF tool and clicking in a box of text. It only allows one key press (including actual characters AND navigation key such as arrows or backspace). After pressing any single key, the program does not recognize any additional keyboard input unless I again click in the same box and press a single key. It is behaving as though the text box loses focus after every keystroke, although the bounding box remains selected with the dark blue border, and the now useless cursor continues to blink merrily away. Note that the editing I'm talking about is  extremely light, simply changing a couple of letters or words well within the scope of what this software was designed to do. I am running Windows 10 with  Continuous Release v. 2020.006.20042. Appreciate any help in the matter!

Le dispositif de suivi Acrobat n’affiche aucun formulaire dans la boite de dialogue, pour activer le service et générer les fichiers _diffusé et _réponses. J’utilise la version Acrobat Pro 2024.003.20121.Je suis confronté pour la première fois à ce problème, sur tous les postes dans cette version. Je l’ai testé avec divers formulaires sans succès. Auriez-vous une piste ?
