Paying for the package that includes editing. still won't let me edit. can anyone offer advice?
I have been working for two days on revisions/edits for a catalogue (PDF format) using the web version of Adobe Acrobat (I just got a subscription for this). When I went to save the changes, I just get a "saving changes" messages but it's stuck in there. So I am afraid my the system didn't save my comments (over 50 notes with edits and changes) as I when I open the in the original location in OneDrive, it doesn't show the comments/edits I made. I had linked my Adobe to OneDrive to be able to access my files from that location. When I try to open from the web app I get Err_code: 3000 Is there any hope for me to be able to see the comments made? the page is stuck on saving changes and recover the document so I don't lose all my work? I am overly frustrated with this issue so I would appreciate any tips/feedback to help me resolve this.
Hi All, i've created a fillable PDF form. I have a drop down with a list of names and a field underneath it. I'd like to be able to select any name from the dropdown and for the field underneath to auto populate with the signature of that person. I have all the signatures saved as images (mix of JPG and PNG files). Does the signature field need to be an image field, or text or other? I've tried googling the Java script to make this happen, but i can't quite get my head around it. Any help would be appreciated if you would know the script for this? Thanks
Migrating from 2017 to 2020, we noted that our (non-cloud) instances of Acrobat require users to create accounts. None of my userse currently have an Adobe account. When we launch Acrobat 2020 for the first time there is a prompt that allows us to create new accounts. We go through this process and it appears as if accounts are created successfully, but Acrobat 2020 itself will not allow us to sign in. When given (correct) credentials, the prompt just goes white and ultimately sends us back to the "Sign in" panel that pre-empts where you can actually submit credentials. I tried to get users to log into the Adobe website with the accounts that were just created, and this does work - the user we tested this on was able to sign in over at Adobe's website, but the Acrobat software itself does not appear to sign in successfully. Best we get is the software apparently accepting the Username on page 1 (even loading the randomly generated avatar thing cor

When I redact text, it looks fine. And then I hit Apply and go through the sanitization and everything, and it makes these weird repeat lines all down the page. This is happening on about half of the files that I am attempting to redact, even after redownloading them and opening and closing the application. Can anyone explain this? The same is happening to a colleague but hers has been installed longer, my version was just installed today. TIA
Hi All, Recently experienced an error when printing certain PDF files opened or downloaded from Outlook. I receive the following error messages:1. "The document could not be printed. Please use our help page to troubleshoot."2. "An error occurred while printing the document. Please use our help page to troubleshoot."Have been using the free Adobe Reader software for 1.5Y but I started having this problem after purchasing an Acrobat Pro subscription. I spent over 1.5h with an Adobe Live Chat Agent, and he still couldn’t resolve the issue. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:1. Uninstall > Reboot > AcroCleaner > Reboot > Download and Install Acrobat Pro 64-bit2. Uninstall > Reboot > AcroCleaner > Reboot > Deleted Adobe folders from C:\Program Files and Regedit > Reboot > Download and Install Acrobat Pro 64-bit3. Adobe > Help > Check for updates & Repair installationAny ideas?
I am running 24.002.20991 When I run a PFD through the scan & OCR, it will convert the pages fine. However, when I try to save the document, I receive an error message: "This document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (14)." Any workaround?
I have a 175+ page PDF I'm trying to make accessible. In InDesign, I set up tags and structure, thinking they'd help with Reading Order. Apparently I was wrong, because the results in Acrobat DC are just about the most nonsensical ordering of items I've ever seen.In the Reading Order panel, I tried dragging and dropping the elements to the correct order, but then items on the page that are overlapping are disappearing. What's going on here and how do I fix it?Another problem I'm seeing is when I drag and drop the order, sometimes the item I was dragging disappears. This is so confusing and frustrating!
I've been adjusting PDF images of book pages by adding red text in the margins and using opaque white rectangles to cover distracting paragraphs or photos. Everything looks fine on the screen, with the areas covered by white rectangles appearing blank, as intended. But when I print the PDF on paper, the added red text is all there, but the opaque white rectanges are no longer present, leaving the distracting PDF text in place. What am I doing wrong?
I have AcrobatPro DC (Continuous Release 2018.011.20040) Mac Sierra (I can't upgrade per corporate's IT just yet)I cannot get ANY of the keyboard shortcuts found on this page Keyboard shortcuts for Adobe Acrobat to work at all.All I can do is 4 common ones, copy, paste, save, close. I would LOVE to be able to marquee zoom or switch to select tool by keyboard, or even assign shortcuts would be a great help. I'm not sure why Command+spacebar to select an area to zoom into doesn't work universal across all Adobe platforms.?????
Hi I hae Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, and I am trying to edit things such as bring object to back or front, but the OBJECTS menu on the right side are all greyed out. I thought I have encountered this a while ago and I remember going to the preferences menu to check or uncheck something. But I cant seem to remember how I did this before. Any help is greatly appreciated. Its driving me nuts.
When exporting comments from a PDF it gives the option to 'exported selected comments'. So I select them and click export. then when I import them into another PDF ...ALL the comments come in. Is there something simple im missing?
Hice un archivo en Adobe indesign con formato de telefono celular con botones para que al volverlo PDF interactivo funcionen, pero al abrirlo en el teléfono los botones no funcionan ¿me pueden decir qué puedo hacer?
Hello,I have a 5000 page document that I have gone through and redacted but I was hoping there was a way to review my redactions without having to go through the entire document again. Is there any way to skip to only the pages I have redacted? (These redactions have already been applied)Thank You,
I'm using the latest Windows version of Acrobat and I use the "Add text comment" (Typewriter) tool a lot (not the Text box" tool). I've looked at the Acrobat shortcuts Web page and cannot find a shortcut for it. Can someone please tell me what it is? Thanks 🙂
MAC; Acrobat Professional. The ADD COMMENTS tool is NOT SHOWN on the "ALL TOOLS" menu. No, it's not down lower (I.e. "show more"). I called tech support and they advised me that the "New Interface" [which you can turn on and off under "view/enable [or disable] New Acrobat"] does NOT allow this "ADD COMMENTS" tool to be displayed. It is ONLY displayed on the little submenu, floaty-thing (see screenshot below). You CAN have the ADD COMMENTS tool displayed if you "Disable New Acrobat". This is a STEP BACKWARD, in my view. Why not have it available with all the other tools? I'm a Human Factors expert (in Aviation) and this would never be allowed in an airplane. INPUT (you listening Adobe): restore the capability for ADD COMMENTS (and every other tool) to be displayed on the "ALL TOOL" menu.
How can I stop Acrobat Pro on PC (Continuous release) from opening annoying side-menus. Every time I open a document it opens the "Bookmarks" and "All Tools" menus, covering half my document! I want it to remember setting from last session (with the side menus closed)? I tried this - and it doesn't workl!https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/disable-right-hand-pane-in-acrobat-reader.html I posted this request 3 months ago and have had no response.
"Any form fields that have the same name in the merged documents are now merged into one field." I've never gotten this message before, and I now can't combine various files without Adobe changing the file contents, even if I change the file names to different names. Can anyone tell me how to stop this feature from preventing combining files?
Hello, I have prepared a form, and everything is working well within Adobe. I emailed the same version as an attachment to test that the document was set up correctly. Worked perfectly. I upload the fillable form to our website as a PDF. It loads perfectly. I can complete the document with no problem. I click SUBMIT, and the following message is received: Error: Form data cannot be submitted to the provided server

I have been having a hell of a time getting our forms put back together in Acrobat Pro DC. Besides the well known iOS issues, I now have some of our forms going out with double fields. For instance, I will have a plain text field named "Description_01" I will finish up the document, send it out to our techs, then when the document comes back printing is a nightmare because the text will be blurred around. I started looking into the problem and set a hard font size for that box, also set so that long lines will not scroll. That fixed many of the issues, but when you printed it, the text would appear bold. I went back into editing and found out that for some reason, some of my text fields had doubled. In edit, it looks normal, but if you click on the field and drag the box, there is another copy of the exact same field right below it. How does that even happen? I This was from a simple area of the form. This kind of stuff is coming in on a semi regular basis. There is a software hiccup s
