Sorry for the complex question... I'm trying to use conditional logic to total scores for a vulnerability assessment.  Based on the answer, a score is assigned to the fields and then totaled by section.  I'm struggling with the text box value.  For "In what language do you feel best able to express yourself?" the value should be 1 for any answer besides "English".  I looked around at a lot of questions regarding this and couldn't come up with an answer.  The closest I got was using IF/ELSE to try and get the values correct. The other fields are all set up as Radio buttons, so the value export is much easier.  However some of the scoring section says things like "if question 8 OR 9 is a 'yes' then 2 points".  Trying to wrap my head around how that looks in the custom calculation script.  Any help is appreciated!

Wondering if it's possible to force someone to fill in a certain field on a form before they can move along filling out the rest of the form.  I wrote a Java script that will take them to line i want to be filled out but it would be nice if i can keep them from moving on filling out the rest of the form until the line is complete.  I know could do a pop up alert but it would be nice to prevent going any further until the cell is completed.  does this make sense?

Adobe DC (bundled with CC all apps) fails to load correctly.  All I get is a (mostly) blank screen (see below).   It worked fine 6 months ago when I was last at my computer.  I have tried uninstalling the app and repairing it.  Nothing seems to work. When I change the default PDF viewer, Acrobat asks if I want to change it to Acrobat, so something is loading correctly. I have no add-ins installed.  Not sure what to try next.   

Thanks to this lovely community, I have a document that automatically predicts and populates a date in the future. Now it's time to translate that into Spanish, and I've run into some hiccups. First- I am not a Spanish speaker. I have someone else check my work. I need the program to remain in English; I only need to change the document language. I already have it set to Spanish for this document.  PLEASE help me fix this. It's driving me nuts.

How can I print-to-pdf multiple pages per sheet? I have a pdf file. I know how to print multiple pages per sheet, but rather than printing I'd like to generate a new pdf file that displays multiple pages of the original file per every page of the new file.Here's how I tried to go about it.File > Print... > Multiple > Pages per sheet: 2 by 2 > Printer... > PDF > Save As PDF... > SaveThis procedure ends with the following message: "Saving a PDF file when printing is not supported. I had this  problem fixed a few months ago but then there was an update and now I am having the same problem again. Unfortunately, I am not able to find a solution online.For every pdf document I open in Adobe Acrobat, the top part looks fine until I start scrolling and then the text starts overlapping (see screen shots). The only way for me to see the pdf document correctly is to zoom out and view a single page. macOS: 15.1.1 (24B91)Adobe Acrobat: 2020.005.30748 What can I do fix this issue?

Hey all. I have a thick 3-ring binder sitting on my desk full of my late Mother's best recipes (mmmm... analog). These are important to me - like the culinary story of my childhood. I have a scanner and want to digitize the recipes for a few reasons: 1. I want to store them in the cloud so they can't be lost to damage or wear2. I want to reformat them into a family cookbook for my kids3. I want to be able to index and search them quickly The challenges are thus: 1. Some of them are handwritten, some are typed2. Some are in English, some are in German3. Some use imperial measurement units, some use metric units If I could waive a magic wand (*ahem*.. isn't this what AI is supposed to be?) I would scan all of the documents and some magic software would translate them, convert the units, and output them into OCR-friendly PDFs or similar. I have an annual subscription to Acrobat Pro so I was hoping to start here, but I'm open to ideas.

Read out loud pausing between each word. I have downloaded and installed the reader on multiple OS's including Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. I am running the most recent version and it shows there are no pending updates. This pausing issues is occuring on each machine I try and it's the exact same problem. I have found a workaround for this problem. Just before I create my PDF I do use the replace function in word to replace all the spaces " " with with a dash "-".  Next I replace all the periods "." with a space " ". Actually pretty ingenious if I do say so myself, but by doing this I'm able to trick the reader into pausing at the end of sentances and not pausing in between words. In any case, this very clearly appears to be a problem with this version of the reader, not a problem with how the PDF was created.

i bought createive suite 6 very expensive. now my hard drive died and i replaced with new one and when i install adove suite again it start giving me popup msg the serial number is already in use so i contacted adobe support person and he said nothing can be done you have to buy new one and he start trying to convince me to buy new subscriptions with discounted price. what is all this why we have to pay again as i have spent lot of money to buy creative suite 6

I open a pdf file, fill it out and then I need to send it to another department so they can fill in a slot and the file is now unwritable. All I do is click on the disc up top that says save to computer. Is there a setting I need to change to stop acrobat pro from saving file as unwritable?

I downloaded a document from the web and began to highlight and add comments to the version on my one drive.  I wanted to print the comments along with the document and selected 'documents and mark-ups', then 'summarize comments'.  It brought up an error box stating 'expected a dict object'  I have tried to 'save as' another version, but to no avail.  Tearing my hair out, so help appreciated!

I am working on a three-part fillable scholarship form that student applicants, a parent or guardian if the applicant is not 18, and a teacher or counselor will complete and sign electronically to submit. So the final document must be submitted with at least two and maybe three electronic signatures. I will create the form in InDesign 2025. Other than electronically signing an pdf I am without a clue as to how this is set up. I will use InDesign to set up the form. Should the instructions flow from the student to parents if necessary, to teacher/counselor then back to the student-applicant for submission? Or what? Should we have separate teacher/counselor form?Thanks to those who know more than me,Joe

Hello,Our IT group has run into an issue with users who primarily use Acrobat. When they are working in the application, they will run into issues where they cannot do a Save As for a document as the window that shows the available locations only opens as a grey box. There are also issues where even as Acrobat is closed these background processes will still run, and if there are too many then Adobe Acrobat will not reopen (whether it be from a PDF or the .exe). These multiple background processes are a symptom of both of these issues. I have made sure that people are updated and the current version we have is 24.001.20643. I have also done uninstalls and reinstalls with different versions (64bit & 32bit) and the results have been the same. I have searched the community for related issues but decided to bite the bullet for further assistance. Please let me know if this is a known issue with a resolution OR if the problem is being investigated.

Adobe Acrobat DC on Macbook issue. I have two SharePoint sites which I had connected to Acrobat. But every few weeks the link seems to break and the software hangs at a blank screen. Only resolution is to hit ESC, then click the red X to close the blank pop up box, quit Acrobat, reboot the Macbook, make sure that OneDrive is logged in and synced, and then re-launch Acrobat and re-add both the SharePoint sites. This is bloody ridiculous for expensive software and the insult is that there is no telephone or email support that I can find anywhere to get this fixed. I hope somebody on this forum knows what the problem seems to be as it does not replicate on the Windows version of DC. Many thanks if anyone is able to assist 🙂
