I have saved a Word file (book) into a PDF file. It works as it should, except som content links works and some not. Anyone knows why and what I can do about it? Image below.
I get this all the time - I run the accessiility full check and it brings up a few errors, eg my current document has 'other elements alternate text failed'. I click on that and the list expands to say 6 elements. I click on Element 1 but I have to wait a long time for the software to actually find and show the page. It eventually shows me the page but won't actually show the problem element. Nothing gets highlighted. This is absolutely useless! It can take me a long time trying to identify and correct problems as the software does not help at all. Does no-one else get this ????? For me it's the same with both home and work macs.
I have downloaded and installed the full Adobe Pro 2020 from the licensing portal but after installing it, I am forced to sign in. I tried bypassing this but It won't let me. I gave in and signed in. Now it is stuck in an endless loop asking me to sign in. After I sign in I get a message that I am signed in and can close the window. This in on Windows 11 24H2. Our license is good for another year so it is not expired. I tried to download the Provisioning Toolkit bit it also won't run under Windows 11. How do I get past this?
Reinstalled Acrobat Standard 2020. Adobe keeps asking me to login to authorize the software. Sends me into an endless loop of QR code/weblink that asks me to login in. Accepts the login, but does not authorize the software. Goes back to asking me to login
If you’re running an update in the background without my knowledge and then show a dialog box saying, 'We are doing an update, please wait...' with only an 'OK' button, there should be an alternative—something like 'Not OK'—especially if the update is disrupting my work. Today, I had to reboot just to get out of a seemingly endless update. If I didn't initiate the update, I should have the option to cancel it. Many programs download updates quietly in the background and let you choose to install them when you restart the program (or not), and that works fine. But showing 'Unexpected Updating Happening...' with just an 'OK' isn’t acceptable when it wasn’t OK. Thanks!
Attempting to use AI Assistant within Acrobat Pro on MacOS (Sonoma 14.7) but as soon as I ask a prompt within AI Assistant within a pdf doc, I'm asked to agree to the terms due to first time using... However as soon as it starts the process I get a pop up message "We couln't complete your request. You're not currently eligible for access to generative AI featuers in Acrobat." I'm logged into an active Creative cloud license and all up to date. Any ideas

My Acrobat X Pro license NO longer shows in my "Your Products" list. I know that the product is no longer supported. I only use the product a couple of time per month, and the cost to upgrade is excessive given my usage (I am 71, and retired). My PC started having a "Blank Screen" issue, and I had to reinstall Windows 11. When I try to register Acrobat X Pro, I get "Activation limit reached for Acrobat X Pro". Given that it is not in my "Your Products" list, I cannot deactivate it, and then reactivate it on my PC. Anyone know how to get Adobe to just deactivate my Acrobat X Pro, or better yet, add it back to my "Your Products" list and I will deactivate it. Thank you, Dennis
We recently changed our company name and I have updated it everywhere in our Adobe account, including directly in Acrobat identity preferences and in the email address we use to send out documents for esignature, but somehow on the emails confirming that a document has been signed, our old business name still shows up. It is correct on the emails that confirm that the document has been sent out for signature and requesting an esignature, it's only once the document has been signed that the Company name is wrong. Where else can Adobe be pulling the old name from? I can fin

An Error message appears when dragging doc/docx files into Acrobat DC Pro: "Adobe Acrobat could not open '*.docx' because it is either not a supported file type or..." And I cannot find "Microsoft Office Word" in Acrobat Preferences>Convert to PDF, while Excel, Powerpoint, Project, and Visio are there. My Office version is 2016 Pro, and the Word application has "Acrobat" Tab functionally working to convert to PDF. Any help to solve the problem?I have tried to repair Acrobat and Office, no result.
I have an account with a pimary and secondary email adresses set up for some time. I was trying to make the secondary email address into the primary address and the old primary into the secondary . Somehow I appear to have created a second account with the old secondary as the new primary. I do not need two accounts and the cost of a second account. What do I need to do to delete one of them? (As a note - when I look at the history on each of the accounts, it shows me the same history for the original acccount on both.) Any suggestions appreciated - Thankyou.
I recently started having a plugin error message when opening Acrobat standard 2017 ;"Plugin companion broker process is not running. Plugin will not load because correct security cannot be provided."Can anyone explain this or how to correct this? The program seems to load and function without any issues after this message.
When opening Microsoft Word on my Mac, I encounter an issue. Hello,I have 2 questions please. On my old laptop (Dell Vostro with Windows 7) I have Acrobat X Standard which I used to merge and digitally sign pdfs. I want to buy the most inexpensive software which will allow me to do the same on my new laptop (Dell Inspiron with Widows 10). So my questions are:(1) Which Adobe software should I buy(2) Where can I find and how can I transfer the signatures from the old to the new laptops. I had an image of my signature in cursive writing which I used alongside the digital signature.Thank you

View background color in PDF but do not print background color or image. Kind regards, T
I've received a PDF with an e-signature image placed on a signature line. It looks fine when viewing the document in Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Pro, and the print preview even looks OK. When I send the document to any printer it puts the signature image on a black box instead of a transparent box. I've tried printing to a color printer vs monochrome, tried with and without "print in grayscale" option, attempted printing Document only, Document and Markups and Document and Stamps. I'm not sure what else to look at or what settings are related to how a signature will print. The document is secured so I can't alter any of the properties of the PDF or the signature.
Where do I purchase and download the upgrade to Acrobat 2020 Standard (perpetual)? I can't find it anywhere on the Adobe site. Thanks.
How can take this line down off the script cos she's pop up every page there
CROSSPOSTED TO ADOBE ACROBAT SIGN FORUM Hello,I'm reaching out to gather some information on behalf of my employer. Currently, one department in the organization utilizes Adobe Sign, where they purchased a certain amount of signatures. I have used this platform before, and I believe it's all cloud-based, no desktop application for use. Currently, my department has Adobe Pro (primarily via desktop application) with the ability to send signature agreements just the same as I'm familiar with in Adobe Sign. My questions are: 1) What are the differences between the two platforms? 2) Are there any limitations in using Sign in Adobe Pro versus paying for a separate Adobe Sign subscription? 3) Why pay for Adobe Sign if the org is already paying for Adobe Pro licenses for staff?
I utilize Adobe Acrobat to open forms that were previously created in LiveCycle which are required for signature - I've never experienced problems in the past, however, the form was recently updated and now anytime I download the form to sign I receive the following error message three times which I must click "ok" to be able to view/edit/sign the document. I've searched the error message online and find nothing on how to fix it. I've tried adding the fonts on the form to the creative cloud and no luck. Any ideas?
I have a PDF that does not have any comments in it, yet it always opens with the comment pane showing. Acrobat DC 2024.005.20320 The option to 'restore last view settings' did not resolve it. I set that, closed the comment pane and then Acrobat, but the pane opened again when I reopened the PDF. Turning off the option 'show comments pane when a PDF with comments is opened' is not a solution, I do want the pane to open if there ARE comments present. However, I tried it anyway and the setting would not stay unchecked with either the New or Old Acrobat interface. Any suggestions welcome.
