Hi, After launching Adobe acrobat a second box appears but its blank, when that dissapears I can see top right I am logged into my account and then Adobe acrobat closes... I have fully unninstalled ALL adobe products, PS, IL, CC, ran revo unninstaller for all adobe, CCleaner, rebooted, reinstalled adobe and CC and the same issue occurs. Interestingly if I got top right and open preferences as soon as Acrobat launches and interrupt the login sequence then it will function fine. Please advise.

 Today I installed Acrobat Standard ver 2024.005.20320 to my system Running Windows 10.  Using an Epson ET-4850 printer. I edited my first document and tried to print it. The print dialogue box displays, but when I click on print nothing happens. The printer works with all other applications including another .pdf editor. The printer icon never shows up in the notification area of the task bar. When I access the printer there is nothing scheduled for printing. Note: The first time I clicked on the print button in the upper right corner of Acrobat, a dialogue box appeared saying something like before printing a printer has to be installed. It disapeared almost immediately. I have searched support and the user guide but I cannot find out how to install or attach the printer to the program. Thank you, Bob

I'm tying to add a submit button to a pdf form. All the tutorials say that when you add the button there should be an actions tab in the properties panel. But there isn't one when I add the button on this particular document that has a lot of form fields.When I add a button to a different pdf with no form elements already on it, the actions tab is there. If I copy this button to the pdf with the form elements, the actions tab disappears. Why is this and how can I change it?Thanks

I have searched this elsewhere and not found a successful solution. I have Windows 10 and have tried moving preferences folder, checking for updates, uninstalling, and reinstalling. My version is: Installed Acrobat: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Acrobat.exeVersion: 22.1.20117.0Creation Date: 2022/04/07Creation Time: 2:01:54 AM No mater what I try or do, I have to redraw my signature every time. How to have the right panel not open on opening a document?   Dont want to hit the cross evertime.

A new behavior is puzzling me: when I copy and paste text from Acrobat DC Pro (any file) to Word and to Apple Mail messages, the text comes out in Italics. Is there a reason? I want Roman characters (no itals).  This never was a problem, but now is on my M1 laptop. My other machine is Intel based; has same fonts, apps, and OS–and it does not produce this error. Is this a known bug? If anyone has an M1 machine could you please test this and see if you can reproduce the error? Thanks. Lates Acrobat DC Pro; latest Monterey; M1 laptop.

Hey guys i am new on the forum had a question, i have been researching for way to copy my bookmarks from one pdf to another. i have yet to fine a way to do so. does anyone know if and how it can be done. every week i have 25 different reports i make info pdfs and i have to bookmark them its a pain but if i can copy the bookmarks over that would be great since its the same set of pages just updated information.

What's causing me to constantly get an error message when opening files that "Acrobat quit unexpectedly"? It hasn't stopped me from working or adversely affected any files but if you miss and/or don't close the message you end up with multiple windows open in the background with the same message.

Hello We are having an intermittent problem where the blue "send as link" button/switch is grayed out. This keeps us from sending an Adobe Acrobat document as an attachment.  In settings, Outlook is setup as our default mail app and the box to send "as a link" is not checked. I've search the Internet and contacted Adobe chat support but nothing has helped. We use the Adobe Share button to start the process and it shows the default mail app as Microsoft Outlook but as I said above the "send as link" is sometimes grayed out which won't allow us to turn off "send as link". This keeps us from sending as an attachment. We are using the latest version of Acrobat and Outlook on the Mac platform. Thank you 

Is there a menu item, or preferably a keystroke shortcut to put open PDFs back into tabs instead of separate windows?  I keep accidentally going the other way when I'm working fast (I don't know how I'm doing this) and I have to close and reopen all the files to put them back into tab view.

How do I get the share icon to display on the top right corner of the Acrobat DC app?

I created a PDF Portfolio containing five flat directories with a cover/index page. After adding all of the documents needed, I want to check/modify bookmarks. Neither the bookmark nor the page (thumbnails) buttons appear on the upper-right ribbon, like they do for my other documents. The only option displaying is "Open Document". When I click it, nothing happens. This same problem is being experienced by another peer, but one other peer is not experiencing this problem. If you know what might be causing this problem, please respond.  Is the PDF Portfolio still supported by Adobe?  Thanks.Pam

Hello everyone, I installed Acrobat on my new PC with Windows 11. Whether I just open it or open a file, it displays correctly for two seconds, then a blank window opens briefly and Acrobat exits. When I open Acrobat as an admin, I get the error message: "The instruction at 0x00007FFFEF584AA0 referenced memory 0x00... The read operation could not be performed in memory." Other than that, I've only installed Illustrator and Photoshop so far. Runs with no problems, like everything else. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it a few times now. Doesn't help. Does anyone have an approach for me? Thank you and best regards!

Es ist nicht möglich, in einer PDF Datei ein Objekt auszuwählen und die Farbe zu ändern. Z.b. soll in einer technische Zeichnung aus AutoCAD eine linie in blau dargestellt werden. Mit anderen kommerziellen Tools ist das ohne Probleme möglich, mit Adobe Acrobat scheint es unmöglich zu sein. Beim Klick auf "Bearbeiten" erscheint ein fenster, das ein eingescanntes Bild konvertiert wird. Es handelt sich aber nicht um ein eingescantes Bild, sondern eine aus AutoCAD erstellte Datei.Nach dem "konvertieren" ist zwar die Schrift bearbeitbar, die Linien aber nicht. Es werden außerdem einzelne linien automatisch "verschoben", bzw. sehr undeutlich anschließend dargestellt. Siehe Screenshots.

Est-ce ma version 25.4.1  (je ne peiux modifier la version a cause de la version de mon Imac... je vais changer quand j'aurai un opeu plus de moyens...). I have a group that sends e-sign requests out on a regular basis. I need to have e-signed forms routed to a group email rather than back to the individual who sent out the e-sign request. It will help us better balance workloads. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Hello everyone,I have only recently started working with Adobe Acrobat Pro, so my apologizes if this a rather simple question.I am trying to create fields for telephone numbers. I am aware that in the Format Category there is an option for phone numbers.  However, only works for 10 character phone numbers.  For people living in other countries, this may be a problem.What I would like to know is that is there a way to set a field so that only the user can only input certain characters.  For this particular field I would like them to be only able to input numbers "0-9", dashes " - ", periods " . " , or Parenthesis " ( ) " .  They do not need to be in a particular order.I appreciate the help!

Is the fill and sign function free if I have purchased a lisence for the stand alone version of acrobat 2020?

I had to re-install Windows 11, 64 bit, on my laptop. I later re-installed Acrobat Pro 64 bit, for which I have a licence, but now I can't get Acrobat to edit any PDF files. When I select "Edit" Acrobat just stops responding. Sometimes, after 10 minutes, if I return to that file then the egg timer has gone away, but as soon as I select another option to do something then the same error appears - "Stopped responding".I have tried using Acrobat 64 bit and 32 bit, and used the Adobe program that deletes any Adobe application beforehand but nothing works.Acrobat worked perfectly before I re-installed Windows, and any other programs that I have re-installed are all working perfectly.Perhaps someone might have an answer to this problem ?

Hi,I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro (latest version) and I would like to add a shortcut to the Quick Tools bar for inserting specific form fields, such as a signature field. Previously, I had this functionality configured, but now I can only add the "Edit Form" tool to the bar, which requires me to open it and manually select the signature field afterward.I've reviewed the customization options, but I can't find a way to directly add the tool for inserting a signature field (or any other specific field) without going through "Edit Form" first.Does anyone know if this is possible in the current version or if the method has changed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance!
