I followed all the necessary steps but still couldn’t get the “Save As Adobe PDF” option to appear on the left side of the screen when clicking on File in Excel. Here are the steps I took: Verified that Adobe PDF Maker was added, removed it, and then added it back in.Logged out of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel, then signed back in, but the option still didn’t appear.Reinstalled Adobe Acrobat, but this did not resolve the issue.Checked for updates; both Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel were up to date.Despite these efforts, the “Save As Adobe PDF” option remains unavailable.

Bonjour,Je ne retrouve pas la fonction de vectorisation de polices dans les outils d'Acrobat.Lorsque je reçois des PDF avec textes non vectorisés, je suis amené à le faire moi-même sous Acrobat afin de respecter le flux de production de certains fournisseurs. Ne disposant pas des polices, il me semble qu'il s'agissait d'un onglet dans le prépresse ? Cette fonction est-elle déplacée dans d'autre outils ? Merci par avance de vos solutions.PS : Je n'ai pas non plus trouvé comment installer une version précédente d'Acrobat pour vérifier.

What setting do I need to go to in order to make Acrobat STOP automatically converting all inserted jpg,jpeg, png files to PDFs? The conversion ruins the image - changing all the colors to gray/neon - like a negative image of the original, but with lots of pixelation and lines so you can no longer tell what the original image was. (See image below.  I just want Acrobat to open inserted jpegs, etc. as IMAGE files, not PDFs.) I have already tried ctrl K and cannot find an appropriate setting to change.  I already have Photos as the default app to open these types of files on my windows pc.

Hallo zusammen,Ich habe mit Acrobat auf dem iPad mit dem Stift-Werkzeug eine Unterschrift auf ein PDF gesetzt. Nun möchte ich, dass die Unterschrift in das PDF "eingebettet" wird und nicht mehr als Kommentar sichtbar ist, da dieser gelöscht werden kann. Eine digitale Signatur möchte ich auch nicht verwenden.  Hat da jemand eine Idee, wie ich geschriebenen Text in ein Dokument einbetten kann?

It takes a long time to open a PDF file in Acrobat and then when I touch anywhere on the screen it says Not Responding.

Hi, I'm looking for a script that takes a file with multiple pages in Acrobat. It splits them into individual pages, saves each even page with the extension "cut" and all this in a new folder on the desktop, named the same as the original file with the extension: "folder"

Hello,I am experiencing an issue with Adobe Acrobat Distiller. While working in CAD, the following error message appears automatically:"Distiller cannot find its standard ICC profiles. Please reinstall Adobe Acrobat to fix this problem."When this happens, CAD freezes completely, and I am forced to close it, losing all the work I’ve done.I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat several times, but the error still persists.Could you please help me resolve this issue? Thank you in advance for your support,

Hi there, I have a customer that is unable to load Preflight properly. When it opens, there is nothing shown under 'Profiles' tab. I have tried changing the drop down at the top to show 'PDF standards' and under 'Profiles' I put the drop down box to 'Show all' however there is still nothing. I have checked my own Adobe Acrobat DC and it loads the profile with no issue. On top of removing Preflight and adding it back in, I've done a repair on Adobe Acrobat, reinstall and pushed a newer version of the software over. Photo attached is what it's supposed to load automatically. Red lining is everything that is not loading and showing blank on the customer's side.

Die gängigen Methoden, wie das Ziehen mit der Maus, funktionieren leider nicht, und auch in den Einstellungen konnte ich keine Lösung finden. Im using Acrobat Pro Continuous Release | Version 2023.003.20215. Most of the PDF's I work with on a daily basis have layers, which is not something that I need or use.  Every time I open a PDF, the layer payne on the right side is expanded.  Every. Single. Time.  In my opinion, it takes up precious real estate on the screen, which almost defeats the purpose of the recent updates that made everything else minimalistic.  Is there any way I can set Acrobat to never expand on launch? I have not found a way to do this.

Hello, One user on an RDS is having an issue where an error message will pop up almost every time they open a PDF. The error is,"The procedure entry point SetThreadDescription could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\ProgramFiles\Adobe\AcrobatDC\Acrobat\AdobeGrowthSDK.dll." I have already updated the server and Adobe. I reinstalled Adobe as well but error keeps coming up.  Thanks.

There is a pic attached. How do I remove the Adobe AI Assistant? It is NOT the "Generative AI" button under Preferences. I already turned that off and it has changed nothing.The pink and purple AI Assistant button persists.AND everytime I do a search the "Looking for an Answer?" window pops up and blocks my screen. How do I make that AI search assist stop? There is no "X" or Exit, or Cancel, to make it go away.How do I make Adobe AI Assistant stop, and disappear? 

It seems that the Acrobat New Experience has thoroughly removed any option for menu customization that would allow for placing the Undo and Redo buttons to the main screen - which is required in order to provide multiple Undos with single clicks (CTRL-Z does only an undo of the last change and of course doesn't name the last change to be undone).   Instead, the only way to do multiple Undos is the new Hamburger Menu and the rather unintuitive collection of tools, named "Undo, redo & more" (the "more" part  of it even including the command to close the document ???).   This directly led me back to the "Old Experience" and reading about the fact, that Adobe calls the New Experience "experimental", I miss any option to provide feedback on their experiment. The chat bot doesn't even resolve the New Experience term and instead offers to buy a new plan 🙂   Seems to be a case of Engineer gone wild while Product Management is on vacation.

Hi there,I am creating a planner in Acrobat and would like to create a checkbox that has three states:1st click  =  filled box (hex color: 918B80)2nd click = Dash, cross, checkmark, whatever is easiest. I just want the hex color: 918B80.3rd click = Blank (White box) This is the checkmark 'legend' as reference: I've been able to find a forum on how to create a three-state button that does Checkmark, dash, and blank, but I would really like to learn how to implement a color fill. Is this too complicated? Would it create issues for my clients who would be using this planner through a standard pdf reader? Is there software or an app that's better suited for this type of project?

about 5 months ago, my windows explorer preview pane stopped showing PDF files. It was shortly after the time I installed and started using Acrobat.Somethings it startes to work, but only for a few hours (and many weeks inbetween).I have spent about 50 hours searching for a solution and applying all the solutions advertised all over the net, but none work. I had uninstalled and reinstalled apps, and even reset my PC so had to download and  re-install all my apps, but still problem remails.I feel it's Acrobat. A couple of times I disabled the thumbnail preview setting under preferences and aplied it again, each time restarting my PC with every single sight change, just incase restarting the app or windows explorer was not enough. A couple times the preview pane in explorer started to work, but then, as I mentioned, won;t last for more then some hours. When I tried again the same disable thunmb preview methond and re enable, it did not work, but a month later it did work, and then d

In 2012 I purchased a perpetual version of Acrobat pro XII installed it on Windows 7 activated it and registered itI lived happily ever after until this week when I started getting messages when running acrobat advising me to up grade as my version is no longer supported.I do not wish to upgrade I am quite happy with my expensive perpetual versionI do not wish to have supportAnd I do not wish to get upgrade messages every dayYesterday and today I have spent hour try to get the messages stopped. Adobe help dont seem to understand this and dont seem to know how to stop the messages they have just started sending me .Does anyone have any idea how to stop these annoying messages please?  

I need help accessing my pdf that I have been updating. All of a sudden it will not allow me to open it, stating it is in an invalid format. Can an earlier version be accessed? If so, how? Many thanks,Laura

Hi I am getting this message even though I have no files at all saved. I am trying to convert a pdf to ppt.  

I have been using Adobe Pro for 20 years. I'm currently using Adobe Pro 2017 but I'm getting a lot of error messages lately which could be due to the fact that Adobe no longer supports this product. So I purchased Adobe Classic. I tried Adobe DC and I hate it for the very reason that I cannot customize it to MY needs whenn working with PDFs. I need complete customization of the toolbars and the appearance. I need the bookmarks panel on the left side. I do not need most of the pre-set tools currently in the toolbars. Is this possible?

I typically work with an external monitor when using my laptop. When I disconnect the monitor, some application windows reappear on the far right side of my laptop screen.For most programs, I am able to reposition these windows by clicking and dragging from the top left corner. However, in Adobe Acrobat, the menu bar occupies this area, preventing me from grabbing and moving the window back into view.Would it be possible for the program to provide a small accessible area in the top left portion of the window frame, so that the window can be easily repositioned when this situation occurs?Worst case, the pdf is already at its maximum window size, and I can't even use the resizing of the size by grabbing the corner sometimes...

I am using the following javascript to extract a page (in this case page 11):   this.extractPages({nStart:10});   Since I sometimes will add or delete pages from a large file, I would like to simply extract the current page instead of a specific page number as the page numbers will change.  Or, I may want to extract the current page plus the page after it.  I'm looking for script to accomplish this.  Thanks.  

I recently purchased Adobe Creative Cloud (student) so I can create editable/fillable forms. However only Acrobat is showing in available Apps and not Acrobat Pro - which is what I need to create editable forms. I've logged in/out. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Any suggestions?
