How to get/enable HTML Source code view in Robohelp 2020?? There was HTML option next to Design in Robohelp 2019 . I am unable to find this in Robohelp 2020. Please help. 

Hello,I am wondering if I am missing something here.  I am testing out RH2022 for mac.  I converted a copy of a project I have from RH2020.  In my print TOCs, I have a legal warning located under my front matter.  In RH2020, I could select a master page for front matter content which applied my master page to the legal warning with no issues.  With 2022, I do not see that option for front matter content in the new Template option under the Output tab.  Under Templates - <my template> - Settings, I see the new location to specifiy layouts for different sections of the doc - but no front matter entry.  Even with my main layout/master page selected as the default, any topics in front matter, other than the cover and toc, print to PDF without a layout.  I have tried setting the layout/masterpage at the topic level itself with no success.  I also tried creating a new toc in RH2022 as well as a new project (to rule out some weird m

Hi!I've got about 300 pdf files, each of about 500 pagesI want to create something like html help from these pdf files.I added some pdf files, as topics. So it looks good. I can navigate in left panel and look for my pdf, that opens in new window.I don't need to use search inside these pdf's, but i want to manually create search keywords. So when i enter my keyword, i wooul like to see pdf file in search results. I can add search keyword to html topic. But how to add seach keyword to pdf file (that is in TOC)? Regards,Anatoly   

Hi, I am using Robohelp 2019 version 14.0.1.015. Could you please let me know how to upgrade it to the latest version? Also, please let me know the latest version details. The last time I tried downloading the latest updates, I struggled to install AdobeRobohelp 2019 again. every time on running the setup,  I was getting a message stating that "your browser or OS is no longer supported and that I need to install the latest updates". Our organization is just switching over from Robohelp 7 to Robohelp 9.  We noticed that search results are sorted by rank, which is not ideal for our environment.  I have checked through the entire Help file and cannot find mention of how to change search result order (we are using WebHelp Pro) in our Knowledge Base.  Web searches have come up empty, as well.Is there a way to sort search results alphabetically still?

Hi! I've got 20 hyperlinks in one html page. All links are to the ONE pdf file.Each link differs from other by "page property".For Example:link 1: myfile.pdf#page=4link 2: myfile.pdf#page=10link 3: myfile.pdf#page=15link x: myfile.pdf#page=x I want to open all links only in one new page (tab). Is it possible?I've tried to use different page destinations (same frame, master page, whole page...) But it opens in new one or in the current page. I want to use only one new page.PS i don't want to use popup frame. It is useless when pdf is about 200 pages. Any suggestions? Best regards,Anatoly

Hello! Thanks in advance to anyone who reads this question and is able to assist. Earlier today, I was working in RH 2017 when the application froze and then crashed. I had a few topics open at that time. When I restarted RH, everything appeared fine. However, I used Visual Studio for version control and the next time I went to check some of my local changes in, I noticed that several of the .FPJ files were updated to remove references to certain topics/.htm files. I did not make these changes, and assumed they were something that happened during the crash, as some (but not all) of the topics that were removed from the .FPJ files we the topics that were open in RH during the crash. (Please note that I only use version control to keep a backup of my files. There is no one else checking in changes that I am pulling down and using, as my team found this paradigm problematic within RH). I rejected the changes and reverted to the previous .FPJ files that still referenced the

hi at all ...is there a way to insert a text box with the scroll bar or another object that contains text and / or images always with the scroll bar option?I have tried with these options but no one give me the option to have the scroll bar at the bottom...

Have Adobe RoboHelp 2017, in the manual I have a jpg on each page of my manual which is the header. when I go to output it to a web HTM the jpg is gone and the font is really wonky. What am I doing wrong. It use to work and then I had to change the header and now it won't upload and I saved the image with the same file name exactly as the previous version.

I am using Robohelp 2020 and trying to merge individual projects into one Parent project. Here’s what I have tried so far: Created a Parent Project with a blank topic titled First_Topic.htm.Created two child projects with one topic each.All projects are saved in the same folder.Applied my CSS & stylesheet to all the topics.Added references to the two child projects inside the Default TOC in the Parent project using the ‘Insert Child Project’ icon.Configured the Responsive HTML Output preset with Start Page set to "Training_Resource_Center.htm" (which isn't an actual topic in my content).Default topic is set to First_Topic.htm, which is the blank topic in the Parent project.Upon clicking the Generate icon, I received a message: Output generation successful.However, when I try to view the output, it doesn’t render. Hi all,I am a bit at a loss. I am using RH 2020.7.46 new UI. I don't understand what this setting in the frameless skin editor does exactly: I deleted the button "Expand/Collapse all" here, as I don't want it to be displayed on my pages. I do not use expanded text. However, this took no effect.I then found another place in the skin editor:Here, I tried which button-number was the button I wanted to be deleted and set the display to "none". Now, the button is no longer displayed. Instead, a search button is shown which is not working (no tooltip, no on-click-action).So, I don't really understand at which place I have to define what.Is my assumption correct that I have to define the function on the first tab and the layout, image etc. on the second?  Why are there no image paths given for buttons that definitely have an image? How am I to know which button is which number? We do not use the Index and Glossary in our documentation Output but I do see *idx. (and *.glo) files in our projects.I assume this is related to the Output Preset | Content | Include Index checkbox (defaults to checked)?If we don't have keywords, what is the effect of the checkbox on or off?If we don't need the output Index/keywords, can I remove the <project>\index\*.idx file on the backend without any adverse effects?Since we have our doc files in a repository, I just wanted to make sure it was okay to delete the file(s) from the repo. I think the answer is yes but just checking. TIA 

Hi everyone. I've been trying to export all topics of my project to do a manual translation.When I select the topics that I want to translate and I press export button Robohelp seems to start the exportation but never ends it. It seems to be blocked and then I have to restart the program.I've been trying to solve it by myself and I noticed it only happens with some specific topics.Those topics I can't export have the particularity of having numbers between the text. Then I replaced those numbers by text (7 to seven) and then the export worked.I thought that the project might be corrupt so I tried with a new project. The problem still happens.I tried with machine translation but got the same result.I've been using machine translation before and never had this problem with numbers until now.I'm using Robohelp 2020.8.34 Has anyone had this problem before? Hope someone can help me solve this.

Hi! I am providing non-web content for users and preferred the frames page formerly used for output. New output formats are fine but my search results appear in the main content area instead of the left navigation panel. This make for an awkward user experience as you must keep hitting the back button to see the search results again for every instance found of the search item.Can't I get my search results to appear on the left panel where the TOC appears like it used to?TYIA!

Hello, after upgrading a RH project from the last version to the 2022 Version all my output presets are lost! what could I do get them back?  

RH HTML v11Both Multiscreen HTML 5 and Responsive HTML. Me search results appear in the main content area, rather than in the left side panel. I cannot keep the search results in the left panel and see the linked content in the main window. What am I doing wrong? TIA!!

Howdy!I'm on Mac using the latest version of RH2020. I customize the Red_Green skin to the desired colors, but when switching to mobile or tablet, it the customization doesn't take effect. It remains Red_Green.Maybe I'm missing the place where to change this in the Edit pane? 

Today for the first time, we have a 2nd TOC that contains the same name plus this info in parentheses: (<my name> confilicted copy 2022-10-17).  It appears to be the same as the original. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks, Paul 

Two weeks back, we opened our Robohelp project file to find that the Topic list is empty and the Table of Contents are gone as well.The htm files are still there but it is not listed in the Topic list at all. We managed to reimport the topics but noticed that some of the links were recgonised as broken files. Is this a known issue for Robohelp 2019 Classic version? The files are placed on Sharepoint and accessed by multiple writers, and this is the first time this happened. Our IT does not think it is a Sharepoint issue but more to do with Robohelp.
