Hello,I'm thinking about using RoboHelp for the user documentation I create. I love the features I have tried so far. However, I have run into quite a big issue: Translation. As far as I can see, RoboHelp currently offers only xliff as an export for translation. Our translators only use Across, and when importing the xliff file, Across is unable to segment the sentences correctly. Instead, it separates only after every paragrahp (<p></p>), so often a bunch of sentences get put into one segment. Across says, it cannot better deal with xliffs, so I am in need ofa different export file format for translationor a working way to transform the xliff file into something like xml or html (and back), without losing data.Anyone got any ideas or workarounds?

Hello Team,I am working on a project in RoboHelp 2020.While working on the project, the indexes are not getting generated or partially generated. I have tried adding indexes as keyword and also as sub-keyword under the main default index, which I have renamed (PCC_VoySchedule) as per project requirement. Hi, Is it possible to add free of charge Google Translate option for machine translation or only Google Translation API based on Cloud Translation pricing?

RH 2020.7.46, Frameless preset, customized Studio skin In the Frameless preset, the title you specify on the General tab appears in the output (and in the skin preview) as all uppercase letters.Our logo uses mixed-case letters, so the effect is a little weird. I don't see anywhere to change this in the Studio skin. I tried creating a variable using mixed-case and inserting that as the title, but RH still converted it to all uppercase in the output. Why is it doing this? It seems logical that it would display the title exactly as you enter it, or that there would be font settings to control this. Apparently it is possible to change this by editing userstyles.css in the output and specifying text-transform:none; (once you find the right parameter to change). But since that file is only created in the output, it would have to be edited manually every time you generate the output. (Our designer figured this out, not me!) Obviously that's not ideal. Am I missing an easy solut

We build HTMLhelp (CHM) help files for our application, currently use Robohelp 8 and are evaluating Robohelp 2020.In Robohelp 8 we have a Main window with TOC etc for the application help and a Popup window for dialogue level help (slimmed down, no left hand pane etc.). The application calls the help with the window name and it all works fine. After upgrading one of the help files to Robohelp 2020 the dialogue level help still works but it opens in the Main window (not Popup). The master page styling is also for the main window and not dialogues. Since the application is not changed and is calling Popup something else has changed. I can see the popup window settings and they look to be imported correctly. Am stuck. Any ideas / suggestions ? Is this a bug or do I need to do something different ?Thanks. 

 Hello,          I am using the Robohelp 2020.8.34. When I sent for frameless generate. It failed. I checked to log files. It shows errors to load the skin layout. Do you know how to fix this? See the image I have got errors. 

In the RH2022 version, the numbering font is different from the text font. I guess it is taking browser style.How do I correct it? 

After generating the chm file, I noticed that some of the numbering font sizes was not the same as the text font size. Some of it appeared correct tho. For example, on one page it would like this:The numbers are bigger than the text. But on other pages, the the sizes would be the same. What is causing this to happen and how do I fix it?

When Generating Responsive HTML5 in RH19, I click on the Browse Sequence and the dropdown list is blank. I've created it and saved it multiple times but I can't get it to appear so I can generate it. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,I am using:- Robohelp 2020 (2020.7.46)- Frameless preset for my output of the project- I set 5 groups for my Dynamic Content Filter.Is it possible to set Robohelp in such a way that, when I chose option 1 from my 1st group of options, then unrelevant options from the following groups (2, 3, 4, 5) will desapear? Could you advise if it is possible and how, please? Thank you very much for your prompt responce.Regards,Luke

Do we have an option to export all html pages in the project as a whole after generating the responsive HTML5 rather than printing each of them?

Hello,I'm using RoboHelp 2017 (13.0.2.334).When I create a Word output, the output does not follow the style sheet that I selected.For example, it changes all of the body text from Verdana to Times New Roman. Even if I select 'Use the project's CSS styles', the font is Times New Roman, not Verdana as used in the online output.I have used the same style sheet for years, and the last time I created Word output (November 2018), it worked correctly. Do you have any ideas what could have changed or what I can check to fix this?Thanks,Julie

Quote-enclosed search works in Responsive HTML 5 output (Azure_Blue skin) for our merged output generated with RoboHelp 2020 update 7. It no longer works in output generated with RoboHelp 2020 update 8.  Running Windows. Installed and upgraded all existing projects from update 7 to update 8. Generated output and discovered that quote-enclosed search no longer works - the searching icon (default four square animation) just perfoms its animation and no searches are returned.Created all brand new output definitions in each project, as well as all new (re-downloaded) Azure_Blue skins. Same result. 2 errors are reported if I open dev tools in my browser: Not sure if those layout.min.js warnings are an issue either.  Thoughts? 

Hello,         Sometimes, there are lots of dissimilarities in font size and font type when we take content from other sources. Is there any way to convert the whole robohelp file into one font size and font type? I am using Robohelp 2020 version 8. 34. Thanks. 

I have 2 questions.WatermarkI use the watermark option to mark draft pdf documents for review, however we've found it to be too dark at times. Is there a way to set it so it is lighter in color or more transparent? I looked through the CSS, but I didn't see any style that was obviously for a watermark, and I don't see any settings about it in any of the preferences menus.  Page Wrapping in TablesI created a binder class that I wrap all the sections I don't want split between pages. It is a pain to set up for new topics because I have to go into the code and enter it all manually, but once it place it doesn't need much upkeep unless topics are eventually split into two or more topics. I put an example of the CSS and how I use it in HTML below. I am importing a FM (16.0.3.979) book into RH (2020.7.46), publishing with a custom skin using the Frameless output preset. Everything is looking pretty good with one exception: in my topic pages, any text tagged with an index marker in FM is a light gray in the final product.  I can't find a setting which controls this behavior so I can fix it.

I'm currently on my second evaluation of RoboHelp 2019 (new interface)-- I checked it out when it first came out, and it was missing so much functionality that it simply wasn't usable for my team. Things are definitely headed in the right direction, but I'm still stumbling over some curious issues. This particular one is a deal-breaker if I can't get it sorted.In previous versions, when I created a PDF, it could be built exactly according to the project TOC, thanks largely to the functionality on the second page of the layout properties window, where I could control the chapter layout. This meant that I was able to have topics at various levels, and to include TOC book titles as headings where appropriate. In version 2019, this ability seems to have disappeared. The PDF ends up being a flat list of topics. While they're in the order dictated by the TOC, they're all at the top level. This renders the output essentially useless as a user's guide.Am I missing anything here? If not, looks

Hello,         My supervisor has given me one RoboHelp file. I got it from the download section. I cut and paste it inside the one-drive, document folder. RoboHelp project files were there. I pasted it there. I try to select the output folder, but it denied selection and showed failed word output generation. Note; I am using RoboHelp 2020 version 7. 46 and word 365 version.Thanks.

Hi..When i create link in my computer I: drive and hyperlink all the content it works fine. But when i send it to sponsor who do not have access to my I: drive they are not able to open the Link.  

I am new to Robo Help and attempting to use the Robo Help publish function to place my files on a server to test.  Several of the projects I am working with were created prior to Robo Help 2019.  I have updated with no issues but when I go to publish I can't find any preexisting publish profiles.  Does that mean that prior the files were probably copied to the correct location and not published?  Also, to my understanding Generate is used to test locally and Publish is used to deploy the files.  Is that understanding correct?  Lastly when Help is called does Robo Help add any additional parameters to the pathname that are displayed in the URL?  I have read the Publish section in the User's Manual but if anyone has addtional references to suggest, please do so. Thanks

I use a "story" structure where only the first topic is in the TOC and the following topics can be browsed with a "Next" button. Now I noticed that I cannot link an index term to a topic that is further down the line. Even though the topic is in the output and all links wirk perfectly, it will simply not be displayed in the index. However, if I add the topic to the TOC, then the index term is displayed. Is this observation correct, and if so, is this regarded a bug or a "feature"? Robert

Hello,            I have created one document, that consists of some pages, I want to import all the word pages and output in pdf, word, and HTML format. But after giving all the settings on output preset. it didn't show in the output file. However, when I type a new topic on the authoring pane, I can view it as an output file. So, how to import the word file and convert it into a suitable output preset? Thanks. 

Any suggestions as to methods to make screen shots used as images in Robo Help 2019 appear more professional and consistent?  I only have access to basic graphic tools (Paint and other defaults supplied by Microsoft). I have been capturing the screen shots then importing them into Paint.  Any pointers would be appreciated. thank you

I have upgraded my projects to RoboHelp 2020.7 and plan to use the Frameless layout with a customized Studio skin (let's call it Studio-custom). In the Mini TOC, is there a way to change the bullet that's used to mark the current heading? In the attached screen shot, you can see that the bullet is a dark blue. I assume this is coming from the Theme Color for the skin (#00477B in our case). Is there a way to make that bullet a different color without changing the overall theme color (to use an accent color, for example)? Is there a way to use a different indicator altogether? In the skin settings (Topic Page > Mini TOC), I see something called selected-pointer which seems to be the bullet, but I don't see a way to change the color or the character. (Changing the Font Color for it had no effect in the output.) I see that there's a file called dot.svg in the /publish/skins/Studio-custom subfolder but it looks black, so I'm guessing that RH applies the theme color to that
